It was actually pretty fun once I got the hang of it. He's almost like in KH 2. I wouldn't go with a lot of blocking, since he loves to teleport behind you and get cheap shots. Dodging and running were my main things. it takes a lot of time to actually beat him, but when he teleports up and does that sniper thing...running a complete circle is a good way to avoid them since they're not blockable. Like everyone else said, he leaves himself vulnerable when he reloads. Keep a few cure's handy and plug away with a basic combo. Commands usually leave you vulnerable for a little time afterwards. It's been a while since I've beaten him...
Uriel let Kaila leave before moving into the separated room from her office and slid into bed. Sanya let out a fierce battle cry and stood in the rain. Her mechanical arm had transformed into a long glimmering blade. "Kadaj! You snivelling coward! You'll attack my students, but you won't face me?!" Her form shivered and she dropped to her knees. The dainty white dress she wore stained instanty with mud. Sanya sobbed aloud, letting her tears mix with rain water. "BAKA! You idiot! I wish...my heart were made of steel too..." Her head jerked up and turned towards Tori. Rubbing at her face, Sanya realized, too late, that she'd smeared mud all over her face, "T-Tori...you...weren't supposed to follow me..."
She smiled, "That would be wonderful." Turning a deathly serious gaze on Jo, they glared at each other for a moment, "Keep the money, child. That money means little to me now." Jo felt something like anguish welling up in her throat. "It has nothing to do with you! BUTT OUT!" she shouted and dashed off, past the town and Berry who'd emerged from the inn. Jo ran until her lungs ached and the forest thinned as the mouth of the cave loomed before her. She wouldn't go in...not today. It wasn't time...not yet to face her past. Quid mali Jo? Timens qui suscitavit adversus te? (What's wrong, Jo? Afraid to meet the one who raised you again?) Jo's eyes widened. Those words...that language... This isn't happening...you're dead...Igneel...
The elderly lady chuckled in such a delicate manner and pointed to a nice villa covered in vines. "If you want to earn the money, I could have you do a bit of housework. After my hubby died, I'm afraid I'm all alone in that big old house." She touched a weathered finger to her chin, "Oh, there is something...the entire town would pay you for...but I cannot ask this of you." A terrible feeling developed in Jo's gut. "Then don't ask." she said curtly. "Oh, but it's so simple...aye...you're right lass. I cannot ask it of a bunch of children. That cave is a graveyard..." As she thought, the lady wasn't as nice as she suspected. "We'll just take the money you're offering and leave you be." she growled, snatching the money from her hands and tugging on Ulrich's sleeve.
Jo was about to grab Ulrich's shoulder and give him a good beating for hassling the people. She hesitated when an elderly grandmother held out a hundred for him. "Oh, it's not doing little old me any good sitting here. Take it, young man. You're very brave for taking care of such a large group of children. You have a gentle spirit, I can tell." Jo frowned, a gentle spirit... Shaking her head she poked him in the side, "Hey, what do you think you're doing? These people work hard for their money. After all, they used to get enough hassle from bandits." The old lady gave her a curious look, "Have you been here before it was destroyed, young lady?" "Um...well...Berry was too...and he...we..." She didn't know how to explain. She wasn't even an adult yet and Berry was a large enough man to hold his own and rebuild a town. It wasn't that long ago...why is everyone treating it like it was a hundred years ago...
Uriel's sigh left her looking old, "You should go to sleep, Kaila. It's been a long day. Gabriel will take care of the Seraphim's assignments and I'll deal with the townspeople. They aren't too hard to appease. After all, when you're an angel..you have incredible good looks." she smiled and flicked her dull brown hair over her shoulder. It wasn't apparent to other angels, but to humans, they were the image of perfection. Sanya glowered for a moment and nodded curtly. "Right, bench, rock, Kadaj...got it." With that she bolted out of the infermary, her little legs working quickly and the slam from the outer doors could be heard down the hall back to Kiel and Tori. The nurse returned after a muffled 'ow' from Kiel and set a hand on Tori's forehead, "You're fine. A few sniffles, that's all. Go get some rest and you'll be fine. Mr. Zadkiel will remain here through the night. He will resume classes tomorrow." Kiel groaned in the other room and she rolled her baby blue eyes, "And you'll see him again at breakfast." The woman smiled again, nodding her head once before becoming apart of the door again.
Jo watched a few of the stares leave them with a pitying shake of their heads and sighed. "WELL WELL WELL, IF IT AIN'T LITTLE JO! OI, I AIN'T SEEN YOU IN...WHAT...A LONG TIME, GIRLY. YOU SURE DID GROW UP FAST!" Jo jumped neary out of her boots and flinched as a giant hand came down on her head, only to ruffle her hair with such gentelness she couldn't help but feel the warmth. Gancing up, Jo's red eyes widened, "Barkeep! You're...alive?" He lifted his hand and examined himself, "IF I WASN'T, WOULD I BE A GHOST? AWW, JO YOU ALWAYS KNOW HOW TO MAKE ME LAUGH AND CRY AT THE SAME TIME." he bellowed quite loudly, "NOW NOW, DID I HEAR YOU KIDS ARE ORPHANS? JO I BELIEVE, BUT BROKE ORPHANS NONE THE LESS. SURELY YOU GOT A PLACE TO STAY." Jo weakly grinned, "No actually...my friends..." she nervously glanced at them all as if it wasn't okay to call them her friends, "And I are traveling. I suppose we're trying to play the sympathy card." And it was working. A few elderly folk had hesitated in their steps, their hands reaching for their wallets. Barkeep, or otherwisely known as Berry, clapped his hands. "NOW DON'T YOU WORRY YOUR HEADS ABOUT NOTHIN'. I'D DO ANYTHING FOR JO. STAY HOWEVER LONG YOU WANT. OH, AND WHEN YOU GET HUNGRY, STOP BY THE BAR AND I'LL TREAT YOU ALL TO DINNER." Gratefully watching the large man barrel his way into the inn and start demanding rooms, Jo couldn't believe he was alright. She hadn't thought anyone had survived the fire.
Uriel sighed and set her chin on her desk, "Yes, it is...and I just wanted to have another year of peace.... I suppose...that's not going to happen. Now I have to deal with mortal fire departments asking what the fire in the forest was about and the sudden storm creating unfortunate lightning strikes all over town." She frowned at the only piece of technology in her room. The small telephone with an answering machine held a blinking light indicating Uriel had 6 new messages. "I wish I could just erase their memories...but that would go against Michael's wishes. Wanting to leave the school and town living in harmony without the use of powers...such a bother our brother is." Sanya perked up and followed after Tori. "What's wrong?" She frowned at Tori and sniffed at her briefly, "You smell like rain. Did you go outside?" A dull light shone in Schulyer and Diane's room and a transparent woman wearing a black and white maid's uniform smiled and held out a glass of water for Schulyer to take. She had short blue hair and bright light blue eyes that were pure blue. An exact replica of the woman was engraved on the door to their room. Without a word she smiled and remained holding the glass for the young angel.
Jo nodded at Ariana's quiet promise and pointed further down the road, "The inn should house us for a while. They don't charge too much...at least...I don't think so." She led them down the hill and into the village completely. Inhaling the familiar scent of bread, pumpkin pie and the almost over powering scent of fire, Jo yawned and stretched. A few elderly folks hustling and bustling down the road with arms filled with food stopped for a moment and stared at her. Their whispers almost going unnoticed by Jo's sensitive ears. "You see that? That girl looks just like in the story. You think it came back to destroy our home again?" Jo frowned, did they just call her 'it'? As if she was a monster?
Gabriel stood and stretched. His back cracked and he made a muffled groaning noise, "I should get to bed. Long day...after all, a warrior needs his rest." Grinning, Gabe sent a casual wave towards Uriel and ruffled Kaila's hair, "Try not to think too much about it. Ren may be the history buff, but he's not to smart when it comes to himself and other people." Kiel scrubbed his face and nodded, "Yeah...yeah...they're not real..." If it's not real then who was Yuukki...I surely didn't make her up. No way would I make up someone that would cause Professor Ren that much trouble. As soon as Tori wheeled Kiel back into the infermary the nurse started fussing over him. Sanay smiled, patting his leg, "You alright? When you two didn't come back after dinner, I was worried." He nodded silently as they shuffled him back into his bed. "Alright then. Lay still and we'll get the medicine ready for you. Thank you Tori, for all your help."
Jo stared down at the village, the town hall was back, along with the multiple farms and if she turned her head to the right, the cave...in perfect view, surrounded by a thin line of maple trees. "Yeah, that's it." A few new establishments were up from when she'd left. A bar now stood where the well had been the place for talk. She sighed, "Let's get going."
whatever we're doing, lets get on with it. I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas (Holiday) break.
Gabriel and Uriel relaxed back into their chairs, "We'll settle this Kaila." Kiel grabbed the photo and brushed his thumb across the bottom. Setting it aside, he noticed a blue pulsating watch lying under the tabe. Ren must've dropped it when he'd come inside. "What's this?" Kneeling, he'd almost grabbed it when Tori's voice broke through his dream. "N-no! Tori, no!" Kiel jerked awake, grabbing Tori's wrists and panted. "T-Tori...are you..?" he sighed and released her. "Oh, jesus...you're real. My dream....it felt so real. I saw...Professor Ren...his house looked like crap. They say...a house matches the owner. Ren looked awful too..." Ren opened his eyes feeling violated. His head hurt and his vision was foggy. "Mmmh...someone...was in my head. Kyrios? No...this one was amature work." Pushing himself up, Ren rolled his shoulders and took a moment to allow the emotions rolling through him to replenish his energy and heal the glass cuts in his back.
Renee glanced around and squinted up at the sun before shrugging her shoulders. Sei poked his head out from the sand and mumbled, "Agrabah...by the looks of it. No more Shadow Heartless for us..." Renee gave him a side glance and stood, brushing sand off her dress, "You know this place?" He shook his head, not giving a real answer or if he was just shaking out sand from his hair. Xenree stumbled back into the foyer and slumped into her chair. Exhausted, but surrounded by new allies. Each of them grinned and said their hellos as Axel, Roxas and Saix returned. "You three had better have some good information for me. Is Radient Garden secure?" Roxas nodded and grinned as Demyx ruffled his hair in a friendly hello. She smiled, "Good. Then...I'll leave it to suffer and we'll move on." Riku ignored Shinji and hurried toward the tower and shoved open the doors, "Sora! C'mon, we don't have time to waste. Introductions will have to wait. Akii needs us!"
Uriel nodded and sat back in her chair, smirking like a devious devil, "None of us are proud to decieve a member of the staff...but, what Kyrios...Sitnah, is doing is wrong. And as much as I dislike it, I believe we should go through with Enan's idea of sending the students out." she lifted he hand before Kaila or Gabriel could protest, "If it proves too much for even one of them, I'll call it off and the students who've been exposed will be handled by higher angels such as myself and Sanya." Gabriel figured going against a member of his Court would bode bad things for him. His vote was cast before he could even give his opinion. Glancing to Kaila, it was her call now. In the depths of Gabriel's mind, he recalled the last time he'd seen Ren and Yuukki. She was a lovely woman, long black hair and a delicate face. Her eyes were large and magnificent blue that seemed to see right into your soul. Ren and she were polar opposites...maybe that's what attracted Kaila and Ren together? Shaking his head to clear the speculations, Gabe couldn't seem to recall Yuukki's powers. They were unique, like all the angels, but she was different. Was that why Ren wouldn't let go so easily? Kiel opened his eyes, but he wasn't in Tori's bedroom... Somewhere off, Ren had fallen asleep or into a state of unconsciousness. Kiel stood in the middle of Ren's consciousness, staring at the row of dark doors before him. Several were labeled with year numbers, scralled in fancy gold numbers and others looked like they'd been etched in with a knife. One, at the back, covered in a black, sticky slime, simply read Yuukki B. Lee. Kiel hesitated in front of this door. It was different, inside it held some sort of memory that Kiel didn't want to touch and yet longed to open. "Yuukki...who...is that?" Moving away from the door, he stood in front of one with the year 667 scratched in the door with knife. I wonder what's different about them? Grasping the doorknob, Kiel recieved a shock that radiated all the way up his arm and settled, burning in his chest as the door opened. ~667~ The house was otherwisely empty. Dust and cobwebs had gathered in the corners and along furniture. It looked like no one lived there, and hadn't for a long time. Kiel dragged his fingertip along a dusty table and sneezed. "Oh man...dust.." Noticing a shadow move across the floor, Kiel ducked behind the sofa. Peering over, he spotted Ren, or what looked like him. The man certainly held his appearance, but not the luster of life. His yellow eyes were dull and his hair dark and greasy. Ren's clothes were damp and ruffled, as if he'd been out dancing for three days straight. Kiel wanted so badly to shrug it off as simply that, and that the man didn't know when to call it quits, but the way he dropped to his knees before a side table with a lamp and buried his face in his hands made Kiel inwardly groan. Professor Ren doesn't look so good... I doubt it's from dancing. The more he watched, the sadder it got. Ren didn't move for a long time and when he did, Kiel wished he hadn't. Ren's shoulders shook with silent sobs. Removing his face from his hands, his eyes were still glazed and dull. Not a single tear had fallen. "Yuukki...I'm so sorry...look at me. Stop it...please...let me rest!" Kiel nearly jumped from his hiding spot as Ren started to shout, switching from different languages. When he calmed, he pushed himself up and ran a hand through his hair. Pulling it away with distaste, Ren leaned against a wall for support and gently carressed a photo still hanging slightly crooked on the wall. "Forgive me soon, okay? I'll be back home before you know it. Then...then..." he closed his mouth and headed out the door. Only when Kiel heard it click shut, did he move and squint at the photo. A woman wearing an interesting red dress sat still in a chair. Her full red lips curved in a slight smile that had even Kiel smiling. Sapphire blue eyes glittered at him with love, though the love wasn't for Kiel, it was for the one taking the picture. The woman in the picture looked like she'd be quite the prize to win and figured she must've been or still is Ren's wife? Lover? Sister? ...Daughter?
Nova touched her katana to Auran's chest, "Just calm down, Auran. If you have nothing to regret, Mithos has no power over you. He's just an additive to your power. Accept it."
Saix nodded, "Yes, it was." Axel growled, "Shut up! I would never have done that to Carrie if getting her out of here wasn't the best thing for her." Roxas lowered his eyes, "Axel, we should tell her we're done here. I suggest leaving out the part about your friend though." Axel nodded and opened a dark corridor. "Yeah..." Sei, Renee, Carrie, Keel and Alexander fell out of the darkness and into a pile of sand. The scorching sun beat down on them immediately as they hit sand. Renee sat up, shaking sand out of her hair, "Oww...well that was pretty mean of your friend. Axel sure did mean buisness. I wonder why he sent us here?" Sei spluttered, spitting sand out of his mouth. Riku sat up, rubbing his head, "What do you mean Akii is gone?! Akii!" Standing, Riku wobbled toward the tower, "Maybe she went inside already. Sora...Sora, c'mon."
Genesis grabbed Auran's shoulders, trying to pull him off, "Auran, no!" Mithos grinned, "Thank you. We will be so happy together." his body turned into a white vapor and absorbed into Auran's.
hahaha XD oh my, no fighting tummer!
I told you, no more rep for you!
