Dog and I damn well am perfectly suited for what I am. Pessimistic to a fault. XP
Aladdin scurried across roof-tops and drew a large scimitar. "That's far enough!" Apu bounced and pointed a finger at Larxene. Larxene grinned ferally and rushed him. "Whoa!" Aladdin scampered backwards, trying to avoid Larxene's precision hits. Xenree calmly started to make her way into the burning bazaar. Her keyblade, Dark Void glowing darkly in her hand. It won't be long now... she thought, Soon...I'll return home...I'll cast aside these fools...and I'll be reunited with you...Father...
Kiel shrugged, "I figured we should know what we're up against. This Lulu sounds like a tough cookie." He sighed, "Sorry Tori..." Yves cast a glance behind him at Kiel and smiled, "Your question was valid. All should know she possesses beauty or else they go into a fight unprepared. Don't be so hard on him Tori...he is your protector." Yves hobbled slowly with Tori's help into the dinning hall. Uriel, Gabriel, Ren, Sanya and Elena froze and stood at once at the sight of the wounded Yves. Uriel sprang over the table and alighted in front of them, landing on one knee, "Master Amittai! You're hurt!" Yves breathed slowly, "Your concern warms my spirit. I'm afraid we must hasten our practice with magic and weaponry. The Dark Hunters are on the move and Kadaj's plans are progressing as we speak." Every student in the dinning hall burst into a bustling of commotion and talking. Each of them frightened of what could injure a Seraph angel. Penny leaned against the wall, his green eyes considering his aquaintance, "If it wasn't a bus then what was it? Things don't just materialize out of thin air and hit you. ...phone call? So you've been getting them too?" he thought back to his own disturbing call. The voice was obviously male and had an odd muffling sound to it. He'd threatened his parents...and his aunt and uncle. Kadaj pressed a hand to his chest and made a sweeping bow, "I'm quite surprised word gets around so quickly. But I should suspect as much from a school filled with...."pure" angels." He chuckled, "I'm here to issue a challenge. You remember my pet...the Serpent? Creatures like that will come again and again...piling into the school and devouring angels left and right...unless...you bring me something I want from within this pathetic school. Deep in the resesses of the basements in the Acadamy there lies a book with the knowledge and spell to ressurect the Demon King. Somewhere on this pitiful earth rests my Master, slumbering in the ground with an awful seal on him. I intend to awaken him and bring this world...to it's knees." He stood straight and narrowed his eyes on Kaila, "And you're going to help me."
ooc: who was Xane again?
Taking a deep breath, Yves leaned a little against the wall, willing himself not to fade again, "I was checking up on the humans we suspect are being targeted by Kadaj and his Hunters...I was correct. Lulu...the Bloody Blossom was there. She has unique skills that drain her opponents energy...and I am not as young as I used to be. Lulu is not human...nor is she an angel. Dark Hunters...beings that are dead and alive...unable to die and yet know not the luxury of life. Defending a human and keeping things normal in the mortal world is difficult for a Seraph so old." Kiel shifted, "This Lulu...is she hot?" Yves pushed himsef upright a bit more, "Were she human...I would say so. But she is not, and this makes her beauty only a weapon. I need you students to be prepared for things like Lulu and to take over the Seraphim's job of protecting these humans." Penny thought long and hard, "Well there's nothing there now. I was hoping everything that happened to me was mear coincidence...but saying some guy...that left an invisible handprint in blood on your window with wings? I think something freaky is happening here in town. I'd say get the authorities involved, but what are the chances they'll believe this story without proof..." "Angry much?" a voice mocked from the doorway of Kaila's room. The silver haired man stood in full view, leaning on the door, his green eyes laughing as he examined Kaila's actions. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kadaj. No need to be alarmed, I'm mearly a projection as daytime isn't exactly my strong point in the day."
Yves' golden eyes fixed on Tori and a look of surprise crossed his face, "Tori... I'm..." His shoulder started to feel wet, but lifting his hand up to it was out of the question as he couldn't feel anything much in it. "Tori, are you alright? I had...heard Kadaj attacked you and Kiel..." Kiel glowered silently at Yves and kept his distance. Penny scratched the back of his head for a moment before turning to the window, "Blood?"
Kiel sighed and still followed after her. "Hey! Tori! C'mon, it's a new day, can't you just loosen up and have some fun?" He was practically running to keep up with her now. "Tori...Tori! What's the matter? You're acting like a guy should never kiss you. Now...unless the Lord himself came down and told you nobody should kiss you, I'm not just gonna take no for an answer." The light blue ribbon on Tori's hand warmed. Penny cautiously stepped inside, "Are you sure you should be standing? You were hit by a bus before. T-take it easy for a while, Tristan." He hated his shy self, but keeping his natural arrogance under wrap so he wouldn't seem like a total jerk seemed to be the wiser decision. Uriel sat straight for a moment. "Enan will not be coming today. Only Amittai will come to assist you in teaching all the students." Uriel knew Kaila didn't like anyone disturbing her delicate plans, but the Seraphim were only afraid of one person and that person was under lock and key in the darkest depths of Hell. Glancing at a waterfall clock, Uriel frowned, "He should've been here by now. It's not like him to be late. The High Court are known for prompt entrances and being timely... Were could he be?" Yves slowly limped through the school. His six wings ached painfully. He'd refused to fight Lulu in an all out battle and thus resorted to defensive techniques to keep her away from Giselle's home. Now he was paying for it. Something was broken in his hand and he didn't have the magic left to heal himself. Restoring the land and Tristan's house back to their former state to show no signs of him being there at all took some of his magic and his battle with Lulu took his energy and more than half his magic. After that, just getting here took the rest of anything he had left. Now he was forced to walk through the long halls like a mortal, his wings transparent and hanging limply around his shoulders and on the ground. It hurts...so much... I've forgotten what this pain feels like. I can only hope Uriel will have something to ease my pain and restore what magic I will need for today. he thought painfully. His foot radiated pain as he walked and his shoulder still was seeping blood out from under the bandage Enan had helped him put on.
Demitri nearly keeled over as his brother placed a familiar vial in front of him. "Is that?" Ryku nodded, "It's the same components as your disease. The fool who placed this inside a bomb inside a Runner wanted to infect the Runner and when the blood would...it would infect everyone who touched that Runner's blood." Demitri wheezed, "Holy...that one's new to me. Who?" Reluctant to answer, Ryku shut his eyes for a moment, "Our...father is alive, Dem..." The world seemed to stop moving, and in Demitri's mind it had. "Father...is alive...?"
Penny shrugged, "Uh...okay. I'm glad, I suppose... I was just..passing by and it just kinda looked like it.." He felt nervous standing there like an idiot. Kiel jumped up after her and followed, "Hey, hold up. Tori, now now...no need to be feisty." Slipping an arm around her shoulders, Kiel leaned down and placed a kiss on Tori's cheek. "Now you can be feisty." He grinned, "Genesis has a crush on a professor." Uriel snapped her fingers again and Gabriel's voice returned, reclaiming Ren's attention. "In all the years I've known Ren, I've only seen that look once before and that was when he met Yuukki. He likes you, Kaila, but as all guys, he's too damn stupid to realize it himself so he'll play the weirdo and probably become a bumbling idiot." She pinched Kaila's cheeks, "Now classes today revolve around defensive magic and offensive magic, also taught by the Seraph of the High Court. I'd appreciate it if you would help him out just a bit. High Court angels, even if he is the Seraph, are a bit high strung."
Uriel half-smiled and snapped her fingers. Gabriel's voice fled and Ren's attention immediately went to Kaila. His bright yellow eyes softened as he appraised her quietly. Uriel closed her eyes as if she knew exactly what was happening. "See?" Kiel and Genesis' masks of composure crumbled at the same times. "Ah! You're just too funny lookin'!" Leaning back in his chair, Kiel grinned like a fool once again, "Ah, we're just messin' around Tori. Genny, here, actually has a dark secret that I know now. So we decided to play nice for the time being." Genesis turned bright red and lowered his head so his brown hair fell over his face. "D-don't tell her! It's embarrassing enough having you know, but a girl knowing? My life is over..." he groaned.
Riku and Akii stuck out their tongues as the heat hit them and a man wearing a purple vest and baggy white pants. "Hey, Sora, bye Sora!" he kept running past them with a little monkey wearing the same vest and a hat chasing after him. Xenree smiled, "The heart is wherever I summon it from. Hmm..it's best to create chaos and summon it with all the negativity around. Larxene, Nickolai, that's your job. Humans are susceptable to danger." She set to walking through the sand on the ground towards the Bazaar. Larxene followed at her heels before warping to the top of a building and lifting her arms, "Thunder Chaser!" Several bolts of lightning rained down and struck at random points in the city.
Sanya turned her glossy, tear filled eyes towards Kaila and pouted, "Tell Elena she can't go." Elena sighed and patted Sanya's head, "I must go, dearest. My plants aren't thriving and I need more potting soil and soil from Indonesia." Gabriel captured Ren's attention with a new argument about art from the past. Gabe gave a backwards wave to Kaila and kept Ren's yellow eyes focused on him. Uriel shook her head, "Gabriel believes the tension from last night has strained your relationship with Ren and thus he's taking Ren's attention onto himself instead of letting Ren oggle you." Kiel tapped the paper with his free hand and flipped it around. "We're somewhat buddies for now, right Genesis?" Genesis' face twitched as he refused to show emotion, "In your dreams lover boy." Penny poked his head in the doorway to Tristan's house and frowned, "Were you robbed?"
Riku shifted in his seat, "Sure that's fine with me. Sora, when are we gonna get there?" Larxene nudged sand away from her boot only for more to fall into the hole she'd created. "Well this place certainly is a dump..." "Yes...it certainly is, and yet it's heart holds enough power to be enough for my purpose." Xenree stepped out of her dark portal with Nox. "And yet, each heart is needed. Don't worry, we won't have to linger long in this place." Genie let them off and morphed back into his normal shape. "Sight seeing, yes!" Sei shifted his cloak tighter around his shoulders, "I don't like this place. It's hot."
Skip~ Kiel glowered over the breakfast table at Genesis. Both of their forks poised above their pancakes covered in syrup. They stayed that way as the rest of the room buzzed with conversation and eating. A note sat beside Kiel that read: Straight Face Contest. Uriel smiled gently as Elena explained to her about her need of a leave of absence and Sanya pouted. Her large red eyes glittering with tears. "If you insist, Elena. We'll be waiting for your return." Gabriel chuckled warmly and slapped Ren's shoulder, watching the man wince slightly with pain and frown at his food. "S'matter? Not hungry again? You gotta eat sooner or later. Surviving off the energy of the universe is good an all, but...food is sustinence, y'know?" Ren didn't feel like eating because he was full...full of emotions that Kyrios refused to take from him to feed the rest of the Dark Court. He wouldn't be hungry for days to come and it would ruin him once it was over. "I'm quite aware...and in time, I'll eat." Penny slowly walked down the street, keeping close to the side of the road so he wouldn't be hit like another kid in his school. He mearly wanted to get to school and get in Kendo class without hurting himself or someone around him. Pen had had enough of the odd happenings and wanted to start bashing in the person following him. So far, he couldn't find anyone following him. He now carried a wooden Kendo stick with him as a form of protection. Soon, he'd pass by the street where Tristan lived, the boy who'd been hit by a bus.
ooc: who's up for a time skip to morning?
Riku relaxed back into a chair and shut his eyes, "Great, then we can investigate the world. Or...would you rather I do that on my own while you go galavant with your old friends?" Riku was only half joking as Akii climbed into his lap and kissed his cheek. Sighing, Riku ruffled her white hair, "Akii, your mother has to be somewhere right? If you insist I'm your father, then where is she? I, uh...want to see your mother." Akii frowned and shrugged, "I dunno...momma has been looking for my big brother. She told me to stay with papa...but...I lost you for a while in the darkness...BUT!" Riku jumped and her bright blue eyes glittered, "I found you again, so momma can't be mad. She'll be so happy to see you again! And then, everthing can go back to the way it was. Mamma being mamma and me and my big brother and you all a family again, living at home...where we belong." Xenree tapped her bottom lip with a gloved fingertip and waved to Luxord, "You're in charge for the moment. Nox, come with me, we'll go to Agrabah too and claim the World Heart. After all, it's your duty to protect me as all the others must do. I am, your Queen of Darkness."
ooc: Sorry, sorry, I completely forgot! eep! Genie eventually came to a halting stop in the town of Agrabah. It wasn't much of a difference between the desert and the town except for the multiple walls and buildings. Sand covered the ground mostly and lie up in piles against the buildings. Even bits of construction were held off due to the pile ups of sand. People wearing cloth over their heads and faces wandered the town as if they knew exactly where they were going. Sei opened his silver eyes and slowly walked out, rubbing his eyes to rid them of sleep. "Someone tell me we're where we're supposed to be..." Riku jumped into the Gummi Ship with Akii still hanging onto his back like a small monkey and started fiddling with the controls. "Master Yen Sid said we have to follow the darkness...if that's the case then we should head to Agrabah. Is that alright with everyone? It's kinda warm there...but if we're going by experience then I'd rely on Sora's knowledge..." he chuckled as if that were extremely funny, "But even that isn't so vast." Xenree jerked her head to her own shadow and a pale white hand reached up from the dark shadow and snapped it's pale fingers. A dark corridor opened and Larxene headed inside, "Boy, you doubt yourself too much."
ooc: if you'll stay active, I'll allow it. bic: Yves' form glowed and burst into thousands of tiny lights as he faded back to Heaven to recuperate his strength. Behind him Enan stood in his white suit, hiding his wings from the boy and a smirk on his lips. "I see you weren't strong enough to deal with a Dark Hunter and still protect the boy. Poor Ami-sama." he chuckled. Enan cast an annoyed glance at the boy and shifted, "What to do with you now... Well, you are home and perfectly safe... Whatever, I'll just leave this be, as the students will be here in a day or so to take over our job." With that he turned on his heel and sauntered away into the darkness.
Berry scoffed, "Ah, a true man never dwells on his age to determine everything. Jo's a good girl, and this town isn't shy of neat. Just stay away from the Church, and you'll all be fine."
Yves poked his head through the door and offered a gentle smile to the boy on the ground. "You are injured. Do not move, please." his voice crooned to the boy. Yves knelt involuntarily in the doorway and panted, "I apologize...I'm a bit out of breath at the moment. If you'll...g-give me a..moment...." Slumping over, Yves passed out and blood continued to stain his clothes from his shoulder.
