OOC: Speaking of the Dark Knight, Ulian Ecko is giving off that Joker vibe.....And see ya DarKnight! BIC: "I won," Xane said. "And you really should work on your lies, Nulix. You use that same tone every time."
"Of course," Xane replied dully. This sounded like another one of Nulix's obvious lies.n"Maybe you'll have more of a challenge on your next fight." *** The sign up/ admission booth was in front of the main courtyard. Unlike most of the other departments in the tournament, this job was run by human warriors and not gods. That was part of the agreement with the Brotherhood. All Novice's idea. "Excuse me, I'd like to sign up for the tournament," Novice himself told one of the warriors at the admissions booth. "Um...Sorry sir. Sign ups were closed after-," one of the warriors stated. "I know. I was part of the agreement," Novice sniffed. "Though I think.....you might find a slot open for me." Novice said as he pointed to a blank spot in the sign up sheet. "How did you...?" The warrior asked. He was astounded. Where a tournament participants name once was, Novice's name appeared. "Don't worry. That participant was a mere low-rank Brotherhood agent. He'd be happy to switch places with me," Novice explained. "But....let's just use his name as an alias for me, eh? Wouldn't want to alert anyone else of my presence." OOC: See ya tomorrow, Jaxed. And a,m I the only one who likes this tournament better than our previous ones, so far?
OOC: Nulix, I think you've accidentally created a bad ass. BIC: As Nulix walked back towards the stands, Xane turned to him and asked, "What happened to your fight?"
OOC: I was kind of expecting the Norse gods. But that might be too soon.
OOC: Just wondering.
OOC: That's cool with me. By the way, you don't happen to have the second round matches yet, do you?
"Hey Darxess!," Xane called out. "Use those spike things!"
Novice gave a cold glance at Enigma, before ripping open another portal. "Yeah. I know," he commented as he left through the portal. Though unassuming, Enigma could very well kill him if he wished. Not to mention that Enigma had a knew his weakness. Likewise, Novice could kill Enigma if he wanted. They had no reason to try and kill each other. THeir skills were necessary for the preservation of the Brotherhood. . At least for now...
"Yesterday during my....'dealings' with the Land of Dragons black market, I found a couple of hopefuls that wish to aid the Brotherhood in some way. The first you may have met. The Asgardian god, Loki. He wishes for our help in destroying the world of Asgard. In return he wishes to take on the Ultimate Organization himself. He's slightly idiotic, but powerful." Novice paused to wipe sweat form his own brow. "The second is the disgraced emperor, Tul Raijin..."
"What?! Again?!" Novice whispered, ripping another portal open to Asgard. "Guess this is a bad time to deliver him some news. " Novice halfway entered the portal before asking, "Enigma, I think you should hear some interesting news. I'll tell you when we return to Asgard." OOC: This raises even more questions. Sigh...
Novice opened the door to let Enigma through, his mind deep in thought. Scourge's goals were a mystery to him. He had a pretty good idea of what they involved, but he couldn't quite understand how it would end for him and the rest of the members of the Brotherhood. Novice was a preserver. He was there to make sure that the Brotherhood stays intact in it's current form. Often through shady contacts and black markets. Scourge's vagueness often through him off of his game, though he always knew how to adjust his tactics. He continued to think until... "Huh," Novice sniffed as Scourged gazed at them from the opposite side of the room. "Looks like we're here."
OOC: Didn't even notice you'd posted. Also this post raises several questions... BIC: "A failure? Ha! That's quite an an understatement. You're report was worthless," Novice sneered as he swiped his hand through the air. As he did a portal opened up, wide enough for them to fit through. "C'mon then."
OOC: I replied to it...
OOC: You do? BIC: The Knight slowly got up. "You're....You're still weak....." he gasped before fading away. "Huh. Well that was-" Xane started, before being knocked over from yet another enemy. This time it appeared to be Mellodia. "You're weak," the fake Mellodia stated. "So I've heard..." Xane said, slowly rising up. "But that hasn't stopped me from beating the crap out of bad guys before..." "You would hurt me?" the fake Mellodia asked. "Well, seeing as you're not Mellodia, yeah. I could hurt ya." Xane said. "Are you sure!" the fake Melllodia said, striking at Xane with her sword. Xane moved fast to avoid the blade. It narrowly missed his shoulder. "I remember how my life was perfect until you and your friends showed up..." "What did we do? The U.P.A and Tul Raijin's armies were goin' to turn your world into scrap, anyway..." Xane scratched. "Look, I had enough of you, Aphrodite. Your tricks ain't workin'. " the fake Mellodia smiled as she transformed into a huge shadowy creature, resembling a pirate ship. One even more monstrous then the Dutchman. On it's mast was insignia of a Heartless. "If I cannot trick you that way, then perhaps I can turn into what you fear most..." Aphrodite cackled. Xane stood still for a minute, his legs shaking slightly. "Not this damn thing..." He said. "You know what come next, then," The ship/Aphrodite sneered, as her cannons pointed towards Xane. "I think I might change things, this time around," Xane smirked. As the cannons geared up for something that was most likely destructive, Xane leaped towards the mast and kicked through it. The mast blew apart in splinters as it changed back to Aphrodite. She stayed on the ground, unconscious. As he was declared the winner, Xane went back to the stands with his friends. OOC: I had writer's block on that one for a while. It could have gone better in my opinion. And it also sucks that school is almost here, and we didn't get to post as much as we wanted. Though I still plan to post (inconsistently) during the school year.
OOC: Xane's in a fight right now... BIC: "What now?" Xane asked. He couldn't see Aphrodite anywhere, but something told him that the the fight was far from over. Probably the stormy sky and the lightning flashing through the clouds. Then a familiar voice was heard.... "You always were something of an outlaw, Xane," the voice said. Xane recognized it instantly. "Dragoon?" He asked. "You're dead." "Nothing is ever as it seems, is it?" Dragoon continued, appearing from the shadows. "I would never imagine one my greatest students turning into my greatest failure, either." "You think I care about the damn Knights anymore?" Xane asked. "What is this?" "I guess I should have seen it coming," Dragoon continued as if not hearing Xane. "You were a pirate. A wild card. How could you ever be completely loyal? And then you chose to side with the scum of the worlds, the nobodies over the knights." "That's 'cause I know right from wrong, geezer. It wasn't hard to figure out who the real heroes were," Xane said. "Heroes? Do you know how much destruction was caused due to your group of 'heroes'?" Dragoon snorted. "Haven't we talked about this twice already?" Xane shouted. "I showed you how wrong you were when I fought the real you. You died in peace. I got nothin' to say to you.." With that Dragoon faded away and was replaced by the figure of a Enigmatic Knight! Thw Knight charged at Xane, sword in hand and swiped at him like a lunatic. Xane managed to dodge each swip of the sword. "Fool! Trog! Worthless scum!" The knight shouted, kicking Xane with an armored boot. "You and your friends are purposeless! You're all just dogs of war! Tossed in this war against the Brotherhood as target practice. You couldn't even save your own side of the worlds! What makes you think this'll be any different?!" the knight shouted as he slashed Xane's arm with his sword. Xane shrugged before launching the knight a few feet off of the ground with an uppercut. "Maybe it's just overconfidence." OOC: More to come...
OOC: Next post might take awhile...Just be patient...'Cause I gotta eat first.
Xane gave Xardius a threatening look, before heading towards the arena with a frown. "I can't believe this! Aphrodite?! This is some bullsh-....." Xane stopped his complaining when he saw the amazing goddess. He could hardly turn his eyes away. " Huh. Maybe this won't be too bad after all..." Xane smirked, as Aphrodite winked at him. As the match began, Xane began to wonder how he would handle her. He didn't really think of her as a threat so...Flash! The world around him shifted. Marble tiles turning into grassy hills. Stands turning into some blue mountains. The sky turned dark as the moon shined bright on them. And the best part of all...He was surrounded by beautiful women. Aphrodite stood in the middle of them. "Welcome Xane! Welcome to your new kingdom," Aphrodite began. " All of this is yours. You deserve it. You deserve me. All you have to do is simply throw away those chaotic friends. It only causes you danger. Here, you will be in a safe haven a place where no harm will come to you. And of course you will be surrounded by these women whose only desire is to stay with you. To care for you, the bravest warrior of all the worlds. You the most courageous-" "Yeah, I get it," Xane interrupted. There were millions of women here. This was a dream come true. But..."Wait...What about my friends?" Xane asked. "Friends?" Aphrodite laughed. "Your friends will only lead you into peril. The truth is that all of your friends; The Ultimate Organization, your friends around the worlds, and yes, even Mellodia, will lead you into danger. I and my friends will only treat you as a king, Xane. Maybe if they learned to stop caring about the fate of the worlds, then they wouldn't have this problem. If they let it go into ruin and started to only care about themselves... But here, you will find a place of comfort. All you have to do is forget your friends..." "Huh," Xane said. "Apparently you weren't around for the good times." "B-but these good times all eventually end in-" Aphrodite began, starting to bite her bottom lip. "Look, this is a dream come true. But, I'd rather have fun with all of my friends then rule a kingdom by myself. Yeah, I'd like to have all of these ladies, but they all seem not human... I'm not even sure how I'd rule a kingdom full of flowers and plains. Besides I got worlds to save. Gotta defend the weak and all that. And I wouldn't give up any of my friends for this, anyway. They're too valuable" Xane explained, before noting, "Man, that was cheesy..." Blood started to leak from Aphrodite's lip."....So you have a strong heart and mind. And you are loyal to all your friends..." "So, I won? Can I keep the women?" Xane joked. Aphrodite's pink eyes soon flashed red for a second. "No....Because no one ever resists me!!! No one!!!" This wasn't entirely true, but Aphrodite didn't care. The women surrounding Xane suddenly disappeared. The sky turned red and flashed lightening as the shadows from the field closed in on Xane. "Huh, "Xane stated, feeling that the real fight was about to start. "I think she coulda left the girls..." OOC: Sorry, about that...And I'm not even done yet!
OOC: I'll send ya the Norse god's profiles when I pm ya back. BIC: Xane looked intently at the tournament matchups, waiting for his name to be placed on a slot. As he patiently waited, he finally got to see his name....Next to Aprodite. The Greek goddess of love. "What? They can't be serious?" Xane said. "Is she even a fighter? I can't fight her! I thought my opponent would be Ares or Poseidon or somebody..."
OOC: It's cool that she's my opponent, but I guess you could explain it more.
OOC: I can help you with the Norse gods.
