Gabriel laughed heartily. "That's good to know. Summer Court angels usually are delicate things." Uriel commanded everyone to drop their weapons, "Alright...Gabriel, if you would summon a few lighter swords. I'd like to begin with actual stances now." Waving his hand, the broad swords disappeared and in their places were thinner, lighter versions. Jean touched her nose to his and smiled, "That's what Kallai says about us. Being a Summer Girl is fun. If you were apart of the Summer Court, we could have lots of fun." Jean scratched her head, causing sparkles to rain down onto the bed and frowned, "Whoops...I suppose all the sparkles from last nights party hasn't come out. Oh, y'know what? You must be tired. Didn't that big, scary Seraph say you were supposed to sleep?"
Mithos shoved his way rudely to the front of Auran's mind. "Mithos Yggdrassiel...so you're a Goddess huh? I used to be a God in the world of Amee. " Raina rubbed her arms and sighed, "So I get two warriors for the price of one. How fortunate for me. Oh...but you appear quite human to me. My own mortal form takes away from the radiance of my true form. But it's not...socially acceptable for me to appear in these worlds like that."
Mithos grumbled and Raina smiled again. "Thank you. I am Goddess Raina of the Light. That boy was Ryuu Tsukiyomi...Goddess Warrior of Darkness. He serves my sister, Goddess Etraine of the Darkness. What's your name, young Knight?"
Ryuu lifted his sword to block and connected with Auran. "Huh...." He pushed off Auran and landed solidly on his feet on the ground. Sheathing his sword, Ryuu yawned, "Drats...and I was getting into it too. Ah well...I'll see you around, newbie. I haven't slept in days...you've no idea how trying my job is. By the way...I'm Ryuu Tsukiyomi. I'd say nice ta meet'cha, but...it's really not." He peered up at the sky and rubbed his eyes. "I'm off the clock now...so do whatever you want. Oh, don't be stopping by my folk's shop. I'm no nicer than I am now." Mithos gaped openly at Ryuu's retreating form. "What the hell was that?! That kid...gave his name and practically told you where he lives. And all in one move he countered and abandoned a fight!"
Lynne calmed her breathing and closed her eyes. "I'm sorry Alex...Mya. Perhaps I should be a little more conscious of my body." Though she hated admiting it....she couldn't duke anything out with Kaleb in her current position. She was always getting hurt. Her mind went to Demitri an Ryku. Were they alright? Last she'd seen of Ryku, he was...he had his hands inside her disarming a bomb.
Raina smiled sweetly and kissed his forehead. "Fight well, my Knight." The white haired boy landed for a breif moment, twirling his sword in his hand, "Tch...so you've become a Goddess Warrior...it matters not. I will still defeat you! For Goddess Etraine!" He launched himself after Auran again, without his wings and Mithos examined his fingernails of Auran's body, "Is it just me...or since she kissed you does that kid move slower?" The boy did indeed move slower. Auran would be able to keep up with the subtle movements of Ryuu.
Gabriel wandered over to the three of them and smiled in his normal carefree way. "Good morning students! My my, Kiel, you're doing well with a sword. Oh, yes, that reminds me...um, Tori. Ah...S-Sanya retrieved your clothing and suitcase from the forest earlier. She placed them in your room. She said I should at least tell you that." He wandered over to Schuyler and stood behind her, helping her support the heavy sword. "Once you gain a bit more strength, you'll be able to use it without such stickiness. Oh and Seraph Kallai will be attending tomorrow. She wanted to provide you with a gift to welcome you into her Court. I'm happy for you, Schuyler." Regi panted outside the door to the interogation room. Leaving Yves inside was painful, but listening to her cries through the door was even more so. His entire demonic being wanted to go to her aid and tear the angel apart but he reminded himself where his loyalties lie now. "I am a Dark Court Warrior...a Dark Court Warrior...I serve Lord Kyrios. I will not obey the cries of a demon!" Jean clamored over the bed and wrapped her arms around Tristan's neck. "If I'm not so bad, then...does that mean you don't object to me liking you?" She cuddled him and purred at his warmth.
Raina looked confused. Shaking her head she set a hand on Auran's forehead, "Promise me you'll remain my knight until I no longer need you. You'll serve the light. All you need do is promise me and you will have your desire." Mithos mentally rolled his eyes, "Wishes... And I'm not INHABITING! I'm going to be taking over!" he growled and let loose bursts of light from Auran's finger tips, scoring across the white haired boy's body as he dodged deftly. "C'mon...let me do the jumping and runnin' around for a while! I'll beat this kid with one hand behind my back!"
Lynne whipped her head around and glared at Kaleb. "You... Don't you dare undermine what I said! I know the truth!" She tensed, her eyes widening and curled inward. Lifting her head, Lynne felt sweat drip from her face, "Stupid...I'll...never believe what you say... I---- ooooooh..." Lynne rested herself back down and took shallow breaths, staring blankly at the ceiling before she started coughing violently. Ryku watched Demitri quietly as he hung up his phone and skimmed his fingers over the fridge. There were still about three beers left inside. "Something's troubling you. I haven't seen you touch the fridge like that in a while now.. The last time...you were worried your medicine wouldn't get here on time and you'd be reduced to a pile of coughing sweat and pain just before the exams for EBO. Your condition is serious...you can't push yourself like this anymore. Let me handle the Lazard case and the Runners."
Uriel glowered at Schuyler, her mood had turned foul. "That's why we're training. This isn't about finding a weapon that suits you. It's about being able to fight with whatever is provided. At the moment, the only thing provided to you is this broadsword." Kiel picked up his sword and set two fingers along the base near the hilt. The hilt tilted towards the ground. "No way can we use swords that are off balanced." He shut his mouth as quickly as he'd opened it and shuffled away from Uriel's glare. "You'll train with it or you'll be thrust into the mortal world without any training and die." Jean twirled in place and shimmmied. "Not really. It's more like...all the rules and stuff of the Courts that you have to remember replace your memories. Plus...only my bonded angel calls me by name and he liked Jean better than my real name. Oh, Jean's my middle name, by-the-way. So it's not completely out there." She leaned closer to Tristan, "You're kinda cute."
Crystarium for Akira: Commando: 1. Blitz 2. Ruin Ravager: 3. Blizzard 4. Froststrike 5. Water 6. Aquastrike Sentinal: 7. Steelguard 8. Resist
Mithos groaned, "Oh so now you want some of my strength. But do you ever listen to me when I say anything? Hell no! It's one guy. What's the problem?" The white haired boy growled, yanking his sword out of the ground. "Stop running and fight me! Not to mention talking to yourself is not cool, bro." He chuckled and twirled his sword so the blade pressed against his back, "Goddess Etraine, lend me your wings!" He sprouted black feathered wings and launched himself up after Auran. Raina squeaked when Auran picked her up, "Oh my...please, make the contract now. You will have the strength to fight him fairly."
Uriel gave her a wearied look, "Today we're getting a feel for broadswords." she handed off a few swords to the students. The girl shrugged her dainty shoulders, "I...don't remember. My bonded angel calls me Jean." She pulled open a door and shuffled him inside, flipping on the lights to a base room with blue walls and a crisp, clean white bed.
Xigbar warped out of the way of the ice and fire and rolled his....eye. "Man, the Keyblade has been picking a lot of duds lately. You think I'm gonna fight you here? Like this isn't the highlight of my day...err... As if!" Lucien shook his head, "Idiot you just contradicted yourself. Xigbar pointed towards Pride Rock and yanked up his hood. "Shut up and go! You're gonna fight Nox or our Lady Queen will never welcome you home!" Verius lifted his nine tails and closed his eyes, "Just a moment." He opened his eyes and scratched at his ear, "I'm sorry Princess, I cannot locate her." Verius nosed the ballroom door, "Perhaps we should start our search here."
Balmore Manor~ Seth crept up the stairs, peeking around the corner for Yuka's familiar brown hair. Seeing nothing, he sighed, straightened his spine and loosened his tie. "Finally..." "Master Seth, where are you going so early in the morning?" Seth swallowed nervously, "I'm going to the orphanage...and then to the bank...to check up on a good friend of mine. Is there a problem, Mirabelle?" Mirabelle, despite her outwardly appearance, smiled and waved, "Have fun then. Don't stay too long in the sunlight." Nodding and flicking a wave behind him, Seth gently shut the old door of the church and squinted against the sun. "So bright..." He sniffed at the air, "Gross...Dhamphir...well...it's not like they'll actually find us living here. Not until...oh, it's tonight! Hm, parties..." Road to the Church/// Suzaku stopped when he spotted Keel and lifted one red eyebrow. "Huh...didn't think the Society of Hunters had sent another out. How annoying." He waved anyway. Luin High School... Lucille sighed; break time wasn't her favorite as her friends always spoke about something she had no interest in and the scent of Axe in the halls was giving her a headache. She sniffed her clothes and grimaced, "It's rubbed off on my clothes...just great."
Kiel grumbled a bit as he followed the girls, "What does cute have to do with how he acts?" Slipping out the doors before the could close, he lowered his head as Uriel had continued instructing the other students on how to hold a sword and such. Kiel picked up a blackened sword and spotted Gabriel among the students. "Isn't that...Professor Gabriel? I suppose...language teachers also know how to handle weapons?" The girl nodded and tugged him towards the doors leading out of the dining hall. She wore a short skirt and a tank top, showing off whatever tanned skin she could. "Let's dance! When we get to your room can we dance?" Kadaj watched though a tiny speck of water that reflected the inside of the school. He made a note in a black book held in his hands, Summer Girls: humans bonded to a Summer Court angel. their energy is limitless and they adore dancing and shiny objects. Not particularly smart.... Frowning, Kadaj felt along his side until he touched the High Court brand mark located on his third rib. "For those so willing...thus is the grace of the Courts."
The boy flicked his icy eyes to the sword and Auran's hand, "We'll see who's the one making unwise moves." He slid his sword in the small space between Auran's blade and his throat and shoved the sharp edge away, grabbing onto Auran's wrist with his free arm and flipped Auran over his shoulder onto the ground. Jumping backwards, away from Auran, the boy scuffed the ground with the toe of his boot and dug his blade into the ground, sending juts of ice ripping out of the ground, heading towards Auran.
Xigbar turned his attention from Lucien to Sora and grinned, "Well if it isn't the dud in the making! Still pretending like you don't remember me from before? But wait...we don't need YOU anymore. Roxas is apart of us again so you're not needed, are you. Hm, did she send me? Well I dunno...maybe, maybe not. What I do know is that your not apart of anything I have to do in this world. She'll be along later than expected, so you can just hold onto your britches and wait to ask her yourself." Sei shook his head, "I don't remember anything... It...it's all so fuzzy..." Genji pulled on his coat, "Not like I care. I'm not here for you. We're here...cause we're lost. But that doesn't concern you, now does it." Verius tailed after Kairi, glancing back at Genji with a look of sorrow, "If only she hadn't turned out like this, then...the Doctor would be alive and Xenree wouldn't be like this."
Pathway to the Church.... Suzaku jumped down from his post in the tree and glowered at the church's looming figure. Though the sun shone on it, he still felt uneasy about it. Could vampires still be lurking...even in this quiet town of Luin? Nina tossed his bag onto his head, distracting him from his intense thoughts. "Nina...! Alright, I'll head into town and see what I can get....s'not like we've been paid in little over a month by the society...but still..." He yawned, showing off his small-ish vampire fangs and ruffled his red hair, only smoothing the white streak down the front of his bangs. "I'm off Nina! Be good while I'm gone. For crying out loud...put the bunny rabbit down!" Nina pouted and stuck her tongue out at him, "It's not a bunny rabbit, stupid! It's a squirrel! What's the problem? Vampires drink blood daily. Why can't I, a mear half-vampire, drink that of an animal? S'not like I'm hurting anyone." Suzaku folded his arms and tapped his booted foot, "Put him down, Nina. He's got a little squirrel family too. I'll bring you back some jerky to curb those cravings. Jeesh..." He started to walk away and Nina set the squirrel down. "Dhamphir's have needs too!" she called after him. Suzaku worried as he walked, She's more vampire day by day... Luin High School~ Lucille dozed in class, after having arrived late, and hungry.....she wasn't a very good student. The vampire lore book slipped from her fingers and clunked on her desk, startling her awake. Balmore Manor//// Cooke, a curious young vampiress with purple hair and violet eyes stared at a recepie for minced meat pie and frowned, "They're joking...right? This sounds gross. I'd rather make a trifle with all those sugary layers combined with a Sheperd's Pie with it's meaty goodness than this thing. Oh how nasty...how do humans eat these things?" Flipping a few pages she stared longlingly at a picture of a truffle and drooled a bit. "So good...there's the delights!" Noticing the sunlight creeping across her stove, Cooke glanced at the clock and scowled, wrinkling her cute face, "Oh bloody hell! I never have enough time to read! Stupid Onii-chan...how many times have I asked him to put a cover on that window?" Red....the color of the blooming roses. White...the color of the opening tulips. Purple...the color of a flourishing lilac tree. And green...the color of finely watered and trimmed grass. All was perfect in Mirabelle's garden. She stood on the edge of shadow and sunlight, longing to be with her flowers just a bit more. Flowers didn't leer at her body or catcall...or grope. They were tender things, silent things....delicate...like her. Mirabell's red hair bounced around her ears as she turned and walked down the hall towards her rooms. She hesitated at the edge of the stairs to Seth's little study. "Master Seth~!" she called. Onii-chan~ she called in her head. She'd never let Seth hear her call him onii-chan. Unlike Cooke or the other vampires that came for his parties. "Good morning Master Seth!"
Lynne groaned, holding her head, "Would you guys shut up... Kurisu, you talk too much. And it's not a threat, Ren, it's a promise! I vow...I'll have my revenge on that twisted man. No dinner, no wine, no 'hello's or compliments and he just goes and puts a bomb inside of me. By-the-by...where were you two? And where's that Kaleb guy? I don't like him. At all...and I'm pretty sure he's some sort of spy. What kind of guy wants to become a Runner when he smokes and carries a gun? I'll tell you what kind! A spy for the EBO!"
