Road to the Church~ Seth led her towards the road and followed it. He really didn't care if they met the Dhamphir. Having the girl with him was a good enough reason to wander around. He could smell them and it made his blood boil that creatures like that existed. As soon as he saw the men, Seth prayed he didn't look like a creepy old man with a young girl. He still looked young enough to have a girlfriend this young. "It's not far now, Rin. Soon we'll be there and have all the fun we want." He winked at her and cast a wide-eyed glance towards the men standing in their way. Suzaku frowned as he laid eyes on the young girl and the man...in a suit? "Excuse me..but where are you two going?" Seth offered a sheepish smile, "To the abandoned Church. You look like a decent guy. I'll tell you the truth..." Suzaku leaned in towards him, his curiosity peaking. "We were looking for a good make-out spot." Seth grinned and Suzaku rolled his eyes. "I'd be careful if I were you two. There are wolves and such out here at night. Not to mention...Vampires." Watching for the slightest flicker, Suzaku frowned when he didn't see anything and was met with a chuckle, "Please...Vampires don't exist. We'll be back...around day time." he smiled down at Rin like a lust filled man. Seth was glad the wind was blowing West and they would be following the road to the North. Keeping the Dhamphir's downwind, he edged past them with Rin.
Luin~ Seth could taste the clot forming and pulled away from her, panting, "Little girl or not...it is dangerous to tempt a hungry vampire. There will be no more kisses until after the party." He licked his lips and purred, "Lips don't bleed for very long. It will stop in a moment, so we should start heading back home now." He didn't like how much sway a human's blood had over him...especially one that was innocent and pure. Though from that kiss, she wasn't as pure as he thought. The only other pure girl he'd cared about had disappeared on him. Feeling a pang of loss, he snatched Rin's hand and hauled her along the road towards the only road that led to the Church.
Kiel grinned and walked beside her, keeping a look out for the Seraphim or Lulu. Enan swallowed hard, "It is true... My brother, Amittai...has returned to Heaven to partake on his journey from life to death. He...won't be returning." Enan sobbed quietly and held onto Kaila's hands. Genesis nodded once. He felt terrible, just taking the two from their homes in the human world...in their oblivious lives and thrusting them into his world. Though he did kind of like Giselle's sassiness and Allen's bravery. Kallai said her goodbye's to Kyrios as he left to say his own goodbyes to Yves' body. She felt weak and tired. Now Kyrios was the eldest Seraph and he would have the most pull around here until they found an heir for Yves.
Luin~ Seth's internal war waged furiously. The age gap was giant and yet...he needed the small amount of blood lest he take more from her on the way home. Unfortunately, his bloodlust won. "An old friend once told me that blood from a person in a state of bliss is sweeter...I've always wanted to test this theory." He tilted her chin up towards him and fought a smile, "You believe our first kiss was not grown up? Truly?" Bending his head down, he lightly touched his lips to hers. He opened his mouth to say something more and by mistake, nicked her lip with a sharp fang. Seth's hands tensed around Rin's slight frame and he kissed her full, drinking in the blood from her lip. (ooc: a nick will not change a person. A full bite and exchange of blood will.)
Luin~ Seth's eyes widened as Rin ran into him and held on. "I'm fine, Rin." His mind went back to how she'd acted before. "Rin...you realize I'm a Vampire...and yet you cling to me so earnestly. Why is this?" He could smell the Dhamphirs even all the way in town. Mumbling to himself he cursed, "Dammit...they must be staying in town... Rin...I'm guessing Yuka said she wouldn't bring the car. We'll have to leave shopping until tomorrow then. Night is falling and it'd be wise to get you fed and hidden away before my guests arrive." He pulled her away from him and sighed heavily. "I'm afraid....I must ask of you....to allow me to taste your blood once more. I fear it's been on my mind of late and I worry about my actions on the way home."
Balmore Manor~ Yuka frowned, "I see... Well I'm afraid I can't come... There are Dhamphir's outside right now and they don't have much intention of leaving. You'll have to tell Master Balmore he'll have to walk home with you. I'd love to meet you before the others but alas...if I leave with the car now...they'll become suspicious. And, little one, don't worry about Master Seth. All the vampires in town obey his orders. I'm sure whoever chose to attack him is suffering quite painfully now." Orphanage~ Seth dropped the fangs onto the ground and tossed the pliers onto the bed. "Sorry, but I must take my leave now. Someone will come for you tonight for the party." Hopping out the window the same way Rin had, he followed her scent, "Rin?" Road to the Church~ Nina brushed her hair back, "We need to stay in the hotel in town until nightfall and then..we take measures to infiltrate the Church and destroy what Vampires we can...or in Suzaku's mind...call the stupid Hunter Society and tell them we need backup the next night they choose to come out."
Orphanage~ Seth shook his head and grabbed her shoulders roughly, "I've had enough of this game. We're finished for good." Leaving the room for a moment, Seth came back with a pair of pliers. Flexing his hand around them, he shrugged, "Alls well that ends well." He watched horror flash across her face and soon....her muffled screams filled the orphanage and a small area around the building. Balmore Manor~ Yuka rubbed her hands on her apron and fished her cell out of her pocket. "Yes? Mastere Balmore do you need the car for something?"
Kiel stood next to her at her right shoulder. "I'm sure he wouldn't...have left all this for you to do by yourself. We should see if the other Seraphim have any idea what Yves' duties were. Plus...I'll be right here to help you out. I promise." He sat beside her and brushed a lock of her hair behind her ear. "I may not know what you're thinking....but I can help." Enan jerked, jolting himself out of his thoughts. "Ah...Kaila...shouldn't you be with Ren? Oh..what happened....Lord Amittai...is dead. Lulu...er, the Dark Hunter he captured earlier killed him. Ah, don't worry...I have Dark Court soldiers patrolling the halls to flush her out of the school." Genesis huffed, "Well I can't carry two people..so we'll have to walk to the school... Alright, the Acadamy is that desolate building up there beyone the forest. And...I was trying to be incognito when I first met you. Out right saying I'm an angel...is kinda...freaky to you humans."
Orphanage~ Seth groaned, "You make things interesting. I may loath humans...but it is a loathing born out of jealousy. I want to feel my heart beat...I want to be warm without having to drink coffee or blood. I've wanted for so long for...." his throat closed and he turned to the door with a snarl. Snarling at the Orphanage's Mother standing in the doorway, Seth's fingers dug into the bed around Rin and he tore a piece of the mattress off the frame. "I know what you want and it's not happening again! I told you, today was the last time." She simply stood there, closing the door behind her and Seth snarled again, "Get out...." She shook her head, "I won't. I've waited ten long years for you to return here. Time has moved slowly when you see the same thing every day for a Vampire. I won't leave this room...or your presence until I can taste more of your passion...and give you more of my own blood. I want you to, Seth." Seth stood, setting a hand on Rin's shoulder, "We'll be going now, Rin. Take my phone and speed dial 9. A car will come around to pick you up. Wait for me." He held out his flip phone for Rin to take.
Orphanage~ Seth shut his mouth and leaned over to Rin, brushing her hair away from her neck. "Is that what you'd like? For me to turn you? To give you eternal life...in a world that is ever changing?" Of course he had no intention of ever doing such a thing to a young girl like her. "I'm afraid...I won't do that. Ever, Rin. I won't make you what I am. This life...it's hell...a prison. It's worse than being a human...a slave to your every desire. Only Purebloods escape our prisons. But there are so few of us now. But of course..we are slaves to our desires too. For example..." he paused for effect, "If I so desired it...I'd feed from every man, woman and child in Luin until they were all dead...without giving them a chance to turn. Then I...myself...would drink what remained of the blood in a corpse and die again. I hate my life...I loath humans...I detest Werewolves...but I will never be a slave to my desires." He wanted her to understand so very much. "If you are still unconvinced...then I could address another desire." He narrowed his eyes and flicked his gaze over her body and leaned into her. Road to the Church~ Nina set her dainty hands on her hips, "Then I'll come with you." Suzaku rolled his eyes and shrugged.
Ryuu stared at him blankly and laughed, "Who...are you talking to? Oh man...you are a crazy one. Raina can't see Destiny Islands. It's why I come here. The Goddess' can't see it at all. Off the radar...out of their annoying feud."
Orphanage~ Seth drifted a bit into a blood filled daydream when Rin hugged him. After pulling him towards her room he frowned, "Of course I am. We're going to go shopping for a bit so I can buy you some good things. My home is..." he shut the door to her room, "Quite devoid of life...and human things. I'm not sure how to treat a human in my household anymore. The only humans we have there are food...ah, but you'll be alright. I'll keep you hidden away during the party tonight so no one will think you're part of the menu." Seth glanced around her room, just like all the rest and sat on her bed heavily. "Until your room is ready for inhabitants...you're going to have to stay in my room. Hmm...I suppose that means I'll have to change the sheets on my bed..." The last visitor in his bed had died....quite messily too. She hadn't taken to a vampire drinking her blood very well and thus caused him to tear apart her throat in effort to keep her silent. Gesturing to her bags he yawned for a long time, "Gab your baaaaaag..." he yawn-spoke. Parties were good...they livened him up and kept him from his eternal slumber.
Kiel mustered a smile, patting her head, "It's alright. I'll take you to your room if you want. I'm sure....the other Seraphim will take care of the barrier...and...finding a suitable place for Yves right now." He could hear Uriel coming before he saw her. Her face a wet streaked mess of makeup and tears. "Yves! No...no...NO!" she shrieked and Kiel felt the backs of his eyes burning. Seeing such a strict and serious teacher break down was too much for him in one day. "We should definately go now Tori." He stood and pulled her up with him. Genesis opened and closed his mouth several times before folding his arms. "I'd hoped you wouldn't bring up the one wing thing... This...was my punishment for not bringing you earlier and for not getting your full names. Don't you lecture me about being rude, missy."
Orphanage~ Seth chuckled lightly at one of the children's jokes before he heard a floorboard creak. He sniffed and lifted his head, a smile prepared for Rin on his lips. Taking in the color of the dress he stopped for a moment and smirked. "How fitting... I apologize for being a bit early, Rin. I mearly thought about the preparations for you to come home with me. It's been a long time since I've had any...children like you in my home. I'll have to pick up some food...for Cooke to prepare for you for dinner too...and...proper attire." He stood and smoothed his hands along the bodice of the dress, checking for holes. Awkwardly, he found one. Poking his finger through it, his cold pale finger touched Rin's rib cage and he clicked his tongue. "Seems we'll have to pick you up some new clothing too."
Orphanage~ Seth stopped by the orphanage and yawned. Opening the door, he smiled and greeted the children that flocked to him, pulling on his pant legs. "Hello children, have you seen Rin?" Several children pointed in the direction of her room and he chuckled, "I don't suppose the Mother has gone out yet has she?" As if on cue, the Orphanage Mother stepped out of her room and beckoned to Seth with a crooked finger. Sighing, Seth bit back a snarl. "I'm afraid I don't have time, Mother. I'm here for Rin as promised, although a bit early. I'm afraid I've no idea what she'd like to have in her room." His eyes flashed as she wrinkled her face and backed into her room. Road to the Church~ Suzaku sniffed, "Only she has the problem. I really don't care. I know what I am. The VHS takes time to make us feel like normal people. But...I'm only here to take care of one Vampire...Lorrietta McHugh. She's the one that killed my parents and my fiance." Nina jutted out her bottom lip, "Whatever. You're coming with us whether you like it or not." As the sun started to set the maids of the Balmore Manor became active again. Yuka swiftly ran a cloth over everything. Mirabelle meandered outside, cautiously and trimmed the roses. Cooke stared at her cook books and dropped the little white tablets into wine glasses full of water.
Luin Bank~~ Seth straightened, "I see..." He watched them leave and wrinkled his nose after them, "A foul smell but the scent of girl lingers in their skin. It would be benefitial...to have werewolf investors..." Sighing, he shook his head and left the bank. He should pick up Rin before he left for home again. Road to the Church~ Nina snarled, baring her fangs, "Call me a half-breed again! I dare you!" Suzaku snapped his fingers and Nina reeled herself in, "Now now, Nina... My apologies, she hates being called that. We prefer Dhamphir if you must refer to our half-vampire blood."
Kiel shuffled over to Tori and pulled her curled up form against his chest, holding her silently. Glancing over to Enan, who sat in shock, he spoke softly, "Seraph Enan...would you mind going and telling Uriel about this? I think...she should know." Enan nodded, standing stiffly. "It's...eternal ice...it won't melt... I just...I didn't want him to fade away like all the others... I cared about him too, y'know. Yves...was my only friend when I became a Seraph." He walked out of the room and up the stairs slowly. "Tori...we're going to ask Uriel to make a memorial shrine for him. No one's going to forget him." Kiel softly whispered to Tori. He hated seeing her like this, but if she held in her emotions, things would only become worse off. Genesis followed after Giselle, Usagi resting on his shoulder. "Hey, hey, wait up! Listen to me! I thank you for protecting Usagi, but you have to realize that guy was seriously dangerous. I can't just let you wander off without protection!" He flapped his wing, unsteady as he walked. "Look at me! I'm an angel! Just like Nero said! You need to come with me or else more people like Nero will come after you!" Jean hugged Tristan, "Don't worry. Keenan won't be angry forever. I'll come see you again soon. You'll be here, right? I'll see you later, cutie! Get some rest or that scary Seraph will yell at me." Keenan hugged her to him and they faded away in a bright yellow light. Kallai met Kyrios at the front doors and sobbed silently. They knew very well Yves had passed on. Soon, either he would've named an heir or a Cherub would be hatched from the Tree of Life in Heaven.
Ryuu spread his arms wide as he walked, "My, someone's paranoid. Who said anything about mind games? Listen..I've got bigger fish to fry than you. Honestly...you're in my way. I think we could've been friends if you weren't snatched up by Raina. Truely...if I wanted to play with you...I'd cut off your skin and wear it like a cape!" Mithos made a face, "Man...what a sicko. Seriously...not even I would go to such lengths...and you and Alice thought I was bad..."
Seth shut his phone and shoved it into his pocket. He snarled at Anthony. "As of the moment no. But that latest investor...decline his account number and don't enter his payments into the accounting books. I'll handle him myself. Oh...and if you do come to the party tonight...do be prepared for a lovely night. I have a few special guests coming tonight." He grinned, all white, shimmering fang and left. Nearly slamming Anthony's door shut. He loathed the shut up prick. His eyes caught on the "smelly" trio sitting quietly on a bench waiting. Pasting on his best non-vampiric smile, he walked over to the girls. "Are you three here for a loan? Or perhaps a deposit. You seem new to Luin." He wanted to curl up in the nearest cellar and hide there for a while until his skin stopped feeling like it was going to melt. Suzaku lifted an eyebrow and frowned at Mark. "Little boys will never learn... Nina." Before he'd said a word, Nina had disappeared and was now standing in the direct path of Mark, about two feet from his face. "Only an idiot would investigate a vampire den during the day time. They may not be able to leave the shade...but they don't sleep and that makes them mighty cranky." She hissed at him and Suzaku couldn't help but roll his eyes. "We want them on our side, Nina...not scared of us. She's more vampire than human...which is why she'd one of the best Vampire Hunters in the Society."
Yves shivered violently as Enan's ice covered his stomach. "Don't...be afraid Tori. My advisors will come and assist you in any important decision...and you have Kiel by your side. Do not be afraid of the others...they're your brothers and sister now. It's your choice who to put your trust in. I was going to hold a formal meeting with Father and everyone before deciding on my heir...but I suppose this will have to do. Enan...teach her what you can. The High Court is nothing to fear, Tori...Order is your sanctuary...Order means everything to them..." He fought to keep his eyes open and Enan took a step closer, "Enough of this nonsense! Yves! Do not name this child the Seraph! You...you can't leave us...compared to you...we're children... Kyrios will dominate us! Don't..." Yves wasn't listening anymore. He turned serious golden eyes to Tori's reddened face, "You will...do fine. I'll watch over you. Now...it'll take some time for your body to accept your new role...until then...you won't look like a Seraph angel. Your new wings will set in on your next birthday. I wanted....to watch you grow up Tori...I adore you...like my own daughter." Enan's ice covered the rest of him as he closed his eyes and let the ice form into a serene smile of peace. As if he were sleeping inside a crystal case of ice. Enan fell to his knees, his bright blue eyes glittering with tears. Kiel felt remorse...grief...and shame for feeling jealous of the old Seraph. He'd miss the old coot...and now all this burden was dumped on Tori's shoulders. Genesis shoved Nero backwards into the bushes so no one could see his wing sprout and beat against Nero furiously. Shoving Genesis off him, Nero's metal hands grasped onto the branches of trees and he swung away like a monkey. Standing, Genesis growled, his wing still showing. As he turned he gaped, slack-jawed at Giselle holding Usagi in her hands. "Uwaaaa! You....Ah, Usagiiiiii~! Forgive me! She doesn't mean anything by it! Quick let him go!" Jean shuffled her feet as Keenan stared at Tristan's outstretched hand and examined his face. "You are unfamiliar to me...Tristan. Yet you seem like someone important. I will not impale you just yet for kissing my dear Summer Girl." Jean blushed, "Nothing escapes your gaze...does it?" He smirked at her and frowned in turn. "Jean....this is unnacceptable. You're MY girl...you shouldn't be kissing other guys. Especially human guys. I know...you miss your own kind...but...Jeanie...I adore you...I made you a Summer Girl so we could be together."
