Seth's Room~ Seth opened his eyes and resumed normal breathing patterns. Licking the blood from his lips he watched Rin carefully. "You may say you love me....but I will never love another human again. I need no one, even if you do need me. Food...is obtained everywhere. Be it another Vampire or a human. Do not believe for a second that you are the only one able to sate my appetite, Rin. I took you from that place simply because I do not wish to leave Luin. Luin is isolated...Luin is quiet and comfortable. I have many friends here, and I will not pack up and leave simply because a little girl chose to out me." He snarled now and jumped up, wiping blood from his face. "I don't have time for this...I have guests to entertain. Stay in here." Outside~ Mirabelle solomly nodded and opened the door for her and the young human. "Ask him after the sacrifice...and after the punishment. That way he'll be in a better mood."
Seth's Room~ Seth ignored her actions, gripping her jaw and tilting it rather roughly to the side and began to feed from the wound on her neck. Warmth and energy flowed into him along with her blood. It was a long moment of silence before he forced himself to sit up. Her blood trailed down his chin and his eyes remained closed. As Vampires didn't need to breathe, he sat perfectly still and eventually relaxed so he was sitting on her hips. Outside~ Allowing Ceril to greet her, Mirabelle pinned the red rose on her dress, "I should hope I look good. I don't think Seth would like his maids to be...half effort. Plus...he said today would be special." Mirabelle kneeled down to the girl and smiled a tight lipped smile, "No one's birthday little one. But...if my Master allows it...it might become yours." She removed the pinned, white rose from the little girl's top and smoothed it into Mimi's hair.
Kiel turned his face away from her, trying to hide his blush. "I....It's alright, Tori. I-I don't expect you to suddenly want to be...ah...I mean.... I'm not going to push you. I get it. Three days is a really short time. I just....I'm glad...at least that you feel that way. I thought I was the only one...and then I thought I was being an idiot...I..." He closed his eyes and his mouth and sighed, "I'll wait as long as you need. Eventually...things will work out." Enan watched her walk away and shook his head, "She's a dangerous one, that woman. I almost feel bad for Ren...almost." Ren sat quietly in his classroom, staring at the bird bones splayed on his desk with such intensity that one might fear they were about to jump up, reassemble and dance before him. Penny winked at him, "Sure did. Her name is Schuyler. She's not really my type but...hey a guy can change, can't he? Angels...even the girls here, they're like the girls from school. Gossiping, fawning over some hot teacher they call Professor Ren and kids faking a stomach ache to get out of a test." His eyes widened and he turned away, "And then there's...Miss Logos there. For a teacher, she's short and childish." Sanya frowned behind Tristan at Penny. Genesis grabbed her upper arm and placed himself so she would fall into him, "I'm afraid, any pictures are prohibited. Unless you sprout wings, you can't take a picture. But, lucky for you two, you'll be heading inside to meet a rather weirdly happy guy. Just remember what I said about the adults with more than one pair of wings. Bow and shut your mouths."
Seth's Room~ Seth took hold of Rin's shoulders and pulled her away. "Rin...I may be a patient man, but I am not a so very easily swayed Vampire. I am no one's savior. Yuka acted on a memory of mine...I do not want you to behave this way again." He stood, peeling off his shirt and donned a silk shirt. Sliding on his coat over it, he refastened his tie and hovered over Rin. "You...are not a Vampire's bride and I won't make you one. The fact that I feed off of you is....mearly out of boredom. Now I'll have that blood before I go." Kneeling onto the bed, Seth drew a line down her neck with the thin razor tucked in his pocket and watched her as his eyes turned crimson. "Are you frightened of me yet?" Outside~ Mirabelle eyed Johanna and Mimi, pinning the roses onto them and tilted her red head to the side, "Johanna...are you sure? She's but a child? And a sickly one at that. Master Seth will not be happy to see you've brought her." Mirabelle chose to stay out of Seth's affairs. As a reward, Seth was working on a way to be able to develop the glass that blocked all UV rays from the sun and surround her garden with them so she would be able to work during the daytime.
Balmore Manor~ Seth sniffed and sat up. "Did you hurt yourself, Rin?" He leaned over her and sniffed until he found her hand and lifted it. The blood smeared across her finger and the bed now. "I left you for a minute...what happened?" He frowned and stuck her finger in his mouth. Outside Balmore Manor~ Mirabelle greeted Anthony and his secretary with bright eyes and a smile. "Good night Mr. Anthony...miss." She casually brushed off greeting the human and removed a red rose from behind her and pinned it to Anthony's jacket. "Today's party is special! Just the two of you? Good." she pinned a white rose onto the human's clothes and set them into the house with a fanged smile. Inside the Church, through the front doors it appeared dank and dusty as an abandoned Church should be. A cover. Beyond the pedestal at the back was another door that lead to the Balmore Manor. Usually it was locked during the day from the inside. On nights of the party Yuka unlocked it with a skeletal key. Beyond those doors, a red carpet rolled out towards a high backed chair that looked like it belonged to the Pope. On either side were long, rectangular tables covered with glasses of the lighter red liquid from the tablet Cooke set out. The tablet created fake blood in water. It tasted like it and held the same nutrition. Minus the warmth and actual "good" taste. Since there were no windows inside the Balmore Manor portion of the Church, the walls were covered with unending gold patterned wallpaper and red velvet drapes. High chandilers hung from the ceiling, lit with old fashioned fire on a candle stick. In a dark corner, a small Vampire string orchestra set up and played soft music for the guests' delicate hearing. Seth's Room~ Seth hummed and removed Rin's finger from his mouth, licking at it. "Do not mind Yuka's finicky ways. She likes to dress up and pretend she's human again with blood to change the color of her cheeks. Now you will tell me how you managed to hurt yourself. I don't like knowing you can hurt yourself in my room. I must beware of it, lest you try to impale me with it." he chuckled.
Balmore Manor~ Yuka tilted her head to the side, "And how will you manage this? I've known onii-chan for a long time. I don't think he's going to fall for a human again." She bit her lip, slid her cold fingers down Rin's arm and lifted her hand to her mouth. Pricking Rin's finger with her fang and squeezed a small bead of blood out. "Once...Seth fell in love with a human girl. He kept her in his manor back home...before the Purge, in Salem. I attended a few of his regular parties with my Sire and I met her. But...I'm not sure what happened...but the next thing I remember was that she killed my Sire...he was a Pureblood and back then and still is now, illegal to kill a Pureblood. The punishment was death and Seth wouldn't have it. He murdered plenty of Vampires during that time...and let the girl escape. That was his biggest mistake. She told every human that would listen to her and showed them his home... That started the Purge.... It was her fault." Seth listened quietly in the crack of the door. Nudging it open, he turned his somber gaze on Rin. "It may have been her fault...but she had good reason to want all vampires dead. Yuka's Sire...a Mr. Fitz...said some awuful things to her that put me and the rest of my kin in a bad light. She was afraid...afraid of... me." He sat on the edge of his bed, "Yuka will you attend to the rest of my guests? They'll be arriving shortly." Seth unbuttoned his shirt and relaxed backwards. After a moment of staring at the ceiling, he spoke, "Rin...you look lovely in that dress." Outside Balmore Manor~ Mirabelle stood silently, waiting for the guests. She'd placed a delicate black rose in her red hair and tried her best to button up her maids uniform but her chest wouldn't allow that. "Vampires...strong but fragile. How many more parties, onii-chan...before we find her again?" she mumbled to herself. Spotting Ceril and Johanna, Mirabelle pushed away from the walls and waved to them.
Kiel turned his head slowly. He’d rested his back against the wall and slipped into a daze. Now looking at Tori seemed like a dream. “You look beautiful, Tori.†He held out his hand, palm up for her to take. “Shall we go?†Enan smiled. He was grateful for Kaila’s support and her words. Standing he stretched and spread his wings. Feeling the tug of his muscles. "Yes...I'm glad you came along. But isn't Ren the one you're interested in?" Penny swung his legs over the side of the bed and grinned, [COLOR='darkorange"]"Yeah...I guess the shock of it all kinda made me freak out. I'm all good now. After all, who has time to be shocked when a pretty girl hangs around ya."[/COLOR] He thought back to Schuyler and felt his blood warm. Genesis spread his wing, removing branches from the path, he revealed the school to them and rubbed his wingless shoulder. "This is our school. Be respectful of the students and teachers...they're touchy about humans. And...if you see an angel with more than one set of wings...bow and shut your mouth."
Ryuu drew his sword and held it to Auran's throat, "You'd do well not to ignore me. Raina will not risk her safety to show up just for you. A first time Goddess Warrior."
Kiel still followed her, "Alright, I'll wait outside in the hall until you finish changing. At least, you're taking it seriously, Tori. Unlike someone, like Genesis, I'm sure would make things even worse off." Enan's face lit up like a child in a candy store. "Really?! Thank you Kaila. I do appreciate it. Good...with this Kyrios won't have full control over them and then we can actually do something good with the humans. I intend for the angels protecting the humans to build the bridge across the gap between the two species. To stop Kadaj and Demise, it's best if we're united." Penny rubbed his forehead, "Hey, you look like you've seen a ghost. Somethin' up?" Grumbling under his breath, Genesis kept walking and rubbed the bridge of his nose where the branch whipped him. "It's not funny."
Balmore Manor~ Yuka chuckled heartily, "Vampires cannot love humans, darling. Especially Seth. He's not the type of man to fall in love anymore. After you've lived for as long as he has, you forget what the meaning of love is and it all just...fades away."
Kiel followed on her heels, waving bye to Tristan. "Where to now?" Enan trailed his hand down the wall, sliding down until he was hunched over his knees on the ground. "What...do I do? I have to make sure Kallai stays safe and yet...Kyrios will wipe the floor with me. I don't have any supporters here in the school. With Kallai's Summer Children running arond in the human world, the Winter Court can't do anything. This is so wrong..." Genesis yawned and felt a tree whip him in the face. "Ow... Stupid tree..." ooc: short post is short
Balmore Manor~ Yuka smiled, setting Rin in front of a mirror and combing her fingers through her hair. "Why of course. But it's been...such a long time since he's had any sort of relationship. Around...thirty years. My...that girl must be long gone by now. Probably New York like she wanted. Ah, but listen to me ramble. That girl was something special. Unfortunately, I wouldn't doubt he's forgotten all about her. All the pictures of the past were burned up in the fire during the Purge when we ran." Yuka touched her chin to Rin's head, "It's been so long...since we've had someone other than each other to talk to. You mustn't show Seth you are saddened by his past. It will only make him sadder. He's been very lonely lately." Balmore Manor- Private sitting room~ Seth excused himself from Elizabeth's presence and leaned heavily on the banister. "Is this truly the path of my life? Dealings with Vampires that like me only for my blood and status?" Digging in his pocket, he searched and searched and came up empty. "That's right...any reminder of her is gone."
Balmore Manor~ Yuka lifted her head from the trunk and pulled out a sparkling silver dress, "Who...onii-chan? He's mearly like an older brother to us. Seth saved me from the Hunters during the Purge. I owe him my eternal life. If you're asking if we're in a romantic relationship of any sorts...then you'll be relieved. Seth is my dearest brother to me and the rest of us." Yuka sat beside her and removed what remained of her dress. "Master Seth will be very happy to see you in this. Silver is his favorite color." Balmore Manor - Balmore Manor's private sitting room~ Seth softly brushed his lips along Elizabeth's jawbone, "Elizabeth...I must ask you what your intentions are of keeping Sebastian as a familiar beside you?" Elizabeth sighed and stroked Sebastian's hand, "I greatly intend on keeping him with me for a long time. Eventually...once we discuss it further, Seth, I'd like to ask you to turn him. Or would you rather I ask Lorrietta?" Seth growled and she smirked.
Simba backed, lifting his head higher, "What kind of information? Ah, Sora!?" Riku jumped in front of Sora, growling. Though it didn't look as intimidating as he wanted it to be with Akii mewling at his feet. "Think about this for a second Sora. Do you really think charging in there will make...." he trailed off as Lucien charged around him and into the cave. "You! Put away your Keyblade and face be fairly. I don't know what Xigbar has told you, but this world is..." he stopped when he realized he didn't know the Keyblade weilder in front of him. Xigbar stepped out of the dark corridor beside Nox and grinned, "Hey buddy, you should be happy to know our Dark Queen is coming real soon. She said the second impact won't take place here but it'll fuel the coming of it. You ready?" Corrine snarled at Marluxia, barring his way to Kairi, "My Princess, leave this place at once!" Marluxia chuckled, "Hmph, you think I'll let her leave that easily?" Behind Kairi three people dropped down to the floor. Genji from earlier, carrying his scythe on one shoulder, a woman with red hair and a large gun and a man with glasses and a sword. "Nice to see you again, Genji and Tooi. And it's always a pleasure, ma'am. Where's Senri?"
Ryuu followed after him, "Wow you just really want to get all this over with don't you?"
So not sure what to really post. I've been out of the FF mood lately so posting as Lightning is difficult without an outline of where she should herd her little group to.
Balmore Manor~ Seth sighed, resting his face in the crook of her neck. "I'm not....going to promise you this. I will not promise something I can't uphold." Lifting his head, he kissed her cheek, "All humans and Vampires alike are my toys. They amuse me." A soft knock came at the door and Yuka poked her head inside. "Master Seth...Lady Elizabeth and Sebastian have arrived early as usual. Would you like me to set out some tea or...serve her something she really wants." Seth sat up, tossing a throw onto Rin, "Tea would be nice right about now. Rin, stay here...I'll be back later. I'll check on you during the party, so...remain here. Yuka will find you something appropriate to wear." Closing the door behind him, Seth sighed. Having a human in the house again proved to restore his humanity. He felt...tired. Yuka smiled down at Rin, "So you're the young lady I spoke with on the phone. See, onii-chan brought you home safe and sound." She flung open a trunk near Seth's wardrobe and rummaged through it. "Hmm...for someone so slight...I should think something that fits Cooke would fit you..." Balmore Manor - Church confessions - Balmore Manor's private sitting room~ Seth took a seat in an old leather chair across from the woman with wavy blonde locks and bright green eyes. "Early as always, Miss Elizabeth. I take it you wish to make another withdrawl?" She nodded, "What can I say? I like shoes, Mr. Balmore. Unfortunately...the library hasn't been doing as much business as it used to. Sooner or later, I'm going to ask you for money. You'll have to refuse my girlish charms." she giggled and the man at her shoulder glanced away. Seth didn't miss a single thing. "Aye, I shall try my best. As for Sebastian?" She glanced up at him and touched his hand, "Isn't he cute in his evening attire? I wish to keep him at my side during the party this time again, Seth. I have found my nerves are deteriorating. My age is catching up with me. I tend to drop things so Sebastian holds them for me." Seth frowned, "Alright, if my Lady requests it. Anything else?" She leaned forwards across the small table covered by a tea set, "Perhaps a small kiss?" He groaned inwardly. Did everyone want to jump him?
Kiel carefully kept silent and kept a careful watch around them. "I take it you two aren't the best of friends then. Either way...we must be careful. Lulu's still in the school." Enan sighed an exhaled on a wavy breath. "Yves said Tori would take his place...but...if our Holy Father disagrees with his choice then a new Seraph will have to be born from the Tree of Life in Heaven and brought down to earth when the time is right for them. That could take years..." He wanted to curl up in a corner and die himself. "My brother...was the best..at what he did. He kept order...and a smile on his face even when he was in pain or tired. We asked too much of him...I should've taken some of his burden before and helped him out." Genesis kept a hand on his sword, though he felt tired from the day already. "You don't have to be so cautious. I'm right here and I'd rather take a wild wolf than another of my Lord's punishments."
Balmor Manor~ Seth opened his eyes and pressed a finger to Rin's lips. "That's not such a wise idea. I'm not in the mood for such games. I don't believe I've conveyed the right sort of message to you Rin. Vampires like me are dangerous." With that said, he rolled until he was pinning her to the bed, holding her arms to the bed beside her head. "You simply don't understand...I could kill you without a second thought. Love...isn't something vampires know. I've fufilled my end of the deal...the other side is that you are my human for as long as you live to feed on and use as I please." His dark brown eyes shifted until they turned a blood crimson, "Are you prepared to fufill your end of the contract at any time? You will not get a chance to say no to me. You can never love a human boy without me tearing his head off. You will not...live a normal life after this."
Church of Luin~ Seth scooped her up into his arms and bowed his head, "Vampire Hunters. They'd kill me the first chance they'd get." The scent of Rin nearly made him stop and ask again for her blood. The party wasn't far off though... Balmore Manor// As Seth nudged open the door with his hip, he carried Rin inside the rather well kept church and across the foyer into his room. Plopping her down on his bed, Seth pulled off his coat and tie. Undoing his cuffs and a few buttons at the top of his shirt, he pulled it out of his waistband and ruffled his hair. "I'll have to ask Cooke if there is any food left... and something for you to eat." Sitting down on the edge of his bed, he flopped over onto his back beside Rin and closed his eyes. "I'll do it in just a minute....just...one minute."
