"Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Lightning deflected Bahamut's claws with her blade. "Don't give up just yet Akira. We'll toughen you up." "Fear is somthing that consumes you. I must try to overcome my own fears." Akira grabbed her gunblade from Ren and stood, "Thank you...the both of you. Right...Eidolon's only appear when we're lost. I...I may be lost but I know what I have to do right now! To protect my friends...even from something so much stronger than me...I'll fight! I have to." Akira's knees shook as she stood up to Bahamut with Lightning shifting back, calling off Odin who had taken chase to the retreating Cavalry soldiers. "Even...even if I fall...even...if it's a dream...I'm going to protect my friends because right now...they need me to!" Bahamut landed, silently accepting her challenge and roared loudly. Swooping down at her with it's red claws scoring the earth, Akira dodged deftly to the side.
Corrine growled and slammed the doors to the ballroom shut with magic. Locking himself inside the ballroom with Marluxia. "The Princess is needed. Why must you be so persistent? Queen Xenree's orders did not include you destroying the Princess." Marluxia relaxed and leaned on his scythe, "No...but it seemed fun. After all, she'll be here in a moment to initiate the Second Impact." Simba, Riku, Sora, Akii, Sei, and everyone else felt the ground below them tremble and shudder before it cracked under their paws. Xigbar stepped out of his dark corridor and started laughing in his annoying way. "I told you she'd be comin'!"
Kiel followed after her as the Book of the Grey closed on it's own and became silent. "Tori, hey...hey!" Grabbing her shoulders, he spun her around to face him and made puppy dog eyes. "You'll be alright. I'm here, let me share the burden until it becomes easier to handle." Ren's lips twitched upwards and he outlined her bottom lip with his thumb, "I'm proposing...that one day, you marry me and take my name." Penny paced in front of Tristan's cot, "I'm not the one who should be careful. You're the one crushin' on somebody else's girl." He thought back to Tori gripping the hand of that guy who said he disliked humans. Genesis and Kyrios argued in muffled voices until he slapped Genesis and glowered down at Allen and Giselle. "I'm afraid our school cannot house you and your friend. Even if you are Children of Evangelion. I need you to leave."

Lightning was seriously pissed now. She wanted them to leave not try and help out. It was her job to keep them safe. Skittering out of the way of a well aimed shot, Odin tore apart a group of soldiers with his Flourish of Steel. "Fear is somthing that consumes you. I must try to overcome my own fears." Akira felt a pulse of pain from her wrist and lashed out at Ren, "Don't...don't tell me to get ahold of myself! This has to be a dream! I can't do this anymore! You're lying to me... Grey and Leo fell...and Grey left us! Lightning left us shortly after for no reason! I'm sick and tired of everyone leaving!" From her wrist a crystal in the shape of crystallized purple fire erupted from her brand in a glow of purple light. Breaking apart, the clouds above gathered and darkened. Swirling into a funnel. Akira glanced upwards, holding her brand desperately, "You have to all be lying to me...all figments of my imagination. I won't accept this as my future! I QUIT!" Her crystal exploded and out from the clouds, Bahamut, a mighty purple dragon soared down and decimated the Cavalry soldiers on the ground until they were gone completely. Bahamut roared, gathering blue energy in his mouth - the Mega-Flare - charging and released it towards one of the Cavalry airships. Turning his glowing red eyes down to Akira, who was caught staring at Bahamut, he lifted himself up, flapping his wings hard, creating gusts of wind along the ground. Covering her eyes, Akira cringed. This is the end...this is how my dream will end... I'm going to die...but...in this dream I've met friends...I gained the strength to protect them for once. Is this...the reward for all my efforts? "Akira!" That voice... Lightning? Was she real too...or just apart of her dream? Opening her eyes, time seemed to slow down as Akira watched Bahamut's large claw descend upon her. This is no dream. I'm going to die! On instinct, she grabbed up her blade and vainly tried to block the claw. Changing his motion into a swipe, Bahamut slashed Akira's gunblade out of her hands, scoring a claw along her cheekbone. Bahamut flew higher in the sky and fired off a round of Homing Lasers. "I don't..." A flash of pink and Lightning cut through the Homing Lasers, sending them skittering off to the sides. "Akira...if you think this is a dream, then believe at least that you can be brave here. This is no dream!"
The book ruffled it's pages, turning a few pages and where Yves' pages ended, Tori's began with her full name scralled in elegant golden lettering. "Of course. I know quite a lot about you. Whether you will remain the Seraph is always your choice and never written in stone, but it is written here that you will be accepted and you will do quite a bit much as Seraph of the High Court with Mr. Zadkiel Uru beside you as a guard." Kiel snorted, impressed, "Well, that's nice to know. So then she will be the Seraph." The Book turned four pages and flipped back to her name. "Yes, she will indeed. But I cannot reveal her future to her as it's against Yves' Law of Order. To keep the order of the universe, I mustn't show you your future in fear you would want to change it." "Kaila...you know very well I have much more pressing matters on my mind most of the time. Alright...I apologize I've forgotten it but truly a last name will not matter. As one day, I intend to make you mine fully and completely. You won't need your own last name. You'll have mine." Penny flicked Tristan's ear, "You're not making any sense, buddy. Anyways, I'm not a player. I'm just sayin'...she's not very different than human girls." Kyrios pulled back his sleeve and patted Nana's head, "This is Nana, my companion. If you dislike her form I suggest you hold your tongue until after we've gone. I will not be so lenient on humans with no manners." he spread all six of his black wings and glowered at Genesis, "Your report?" Genesis jumped up, flattening his wing against his back, "Yes sir! This is Giselle and Allen. They're the last two humans, both Children of Evangelion."
Kiel frowned and sat in her overstuffed chair. "Would you kindly...GET OFF ME?!" Jumping up, Kiel lifted the cushion of the chair and lifted the book out from her chair. "Well...looks like I found it. Uh, sorry 'bout that, Book." The Book growled and opened, flipping pages to form a face on a middle of a random page. "Please don't call me that. If you must call me anything, I'd prefer Grey-sama." Kiel rolled his eyes, "I'm not adding honorifics. Alright...so, Tori wants to know if she's going to remain and stay the Seraph of the High Court. You do know that--" "That Lord Yves Amittai Kvizts, Seraph of the High Court and creator of the Angelic Law of Order has passed away around half an hour in the past from this current moment? Yes, I do know. You see, it's all written here." it flipped open to a long page scralled with all of Yves' accomplishments. Ren rolled his eyes. "I don't believe I was informed when you came here. Most of the time when I meet a pretty new face I stop listening after her first name." He smirked and framed her face with his hands, "And how could I resist or listen when such a gorgeous woman stood in front of me during the beginning school years." Penny sank back down on the cot and couldn't help but smile. "Wow....angels are as easy as humans. I guess they're not so different." Genesis chuckled, "Perhaps...but when you're born like yourself and grow wings...you tend to forget what it's like being wingless." He jumped up as Lord Kyrios sauntered his way into the dining hall. His pale face was a mask of anger and deathly gloom. Midnight blue-ish hair rumpled as if someone had ran their fingers through it and yanked him around. His yellow python could be seen flicking her tongue out from under his cloak.

Kiel followed her with a mask of seriousness on his face. "Hmm...the last place I saw it, the thing was on her desk. I'd say...look around there." Scrounging around Sanya's desk he found several manga books and magazines of...toys? "Weird...Professor Logos is like a little kid." Ren fell backwards with Kaila on him. "I had no idea you were so anxious, Kaila." he laughed, stroking her cheek with the backs of his fingers. "I didn't think you knew my last name." Penny shook his head and waved a hand at Tristan, "Psssh...who's a coward? Alright, Schuyler, I'll take you up on your offer." In his head a plan formed. He almost felt guilty for developing a crush on an angel....almost. Minus the wings, she was like a normal girl he delt with everyday. And wings weren't something he couldn't work around. Genesis stretched his wing, "Yeah...they're great alright... But you're just so interesting. Someone with human genes and yet doesn't have wings...it's like there's something missing in your chromosomes."
Kiel dropped Tori's hand and set his on her shoulders. "You'll be alright. Whatever it has to say, I'll always be right here." Ren closed his eyes and kissed her. Naturally the taste of her feelings filled his senses. Was this the normal taste? Or something new? He couldn't quite put his finger on the taste of it but after a while he didn't want to care about the taste of her feelings, only the feel of them. He pulled her close to his body and tilted her chin up so he could rain kisses along her neck and jawline. Penny nodded, "Sounds like a date! Uh...I mean...a...um...w-well n-not like that..." he stuttered and facepalmed. Genesis opened his eyes. Several blood vessels had burst behind his eyes, giving the whites of his eyes a red tint. "It's not a fun thing to do." He slid down and sat on the floor. His sword clattered noisily on the hard, marble flooring. "For humans...you think a lot of things are cool. What's cool is that your kind can go their whole lives without wings. The lack of the feeling of freedom must be infuriating."
Balmore Manor~ Mirabelle sniffed and shrugged, "Yuka's downstairs. She's practically werewolves' best friends. It's gross...but, at least it works. Now...Mimi will have to stay with us for a while until she's adjusted to her new body..." Church~ Yuka fled from the incoming sunlight into the Church and locked the door. "Thank you for staying. I can wake Master Seth if you want to talk to him. It's been a while since he's seen you. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk to you."

She hopped off Odin's back and flung him up onto it. "Odin! For Hope...and for Jaden, we survive to fight again. Now you either move on your own or stand aside." Her soldier training taking hold, Light cast Thundaga to distract the large group of Cavalry soldiers and provide a decent amount of cover as she darted forwards. Switching back to her Commando role, Lightning tore through the lightning shocked soldiers. "Odin, quickly!" Odin reared back, removing Twilight and Leo from his back and shifted. Weilding it's blades, Odin assisted Lightning in buying her students time to escape. "Fear is somthing that consumes you. I must try to overcome my own fears." Akira shivered in her boots. Terror had set in after relief. Jaden had fallen...the last time one of them fell they left the group for good. She felt warm tears roll down her cheeks and swiftly wiped them away. Seeing bullets fly towards her, Akira subconsciously shifted into her Sentinal role and Steelguard-ed herself from their impact. "This isn't happening...it's a dream...it's all a dream!" she shrieked and shut her eyes as she tripped backwards over a rock and landed on her rear.
Sorry I haven't posted lately guys. I promise I'll post this weekend. I'm just a bit swamped with contest this week.
Ryuu froze and pasted a bland face on, "Wow you are a really...really...awful guy." ooc: You come up with a plot cause I'm tired.
Kiel shrugged, "Sooner or later you're going to have to come to accept it, y'know. It is after all your new title. Though it is sort of awkward." He smiled, chuckling, "Hard to imagine you as a real Seraph when you don't have all those wings they do." Ren exhaled, "Yes...well...Kyrios' curse is much more...intense than those around me believe it is. With a simple, intimate touch, I could steal all your emotions without you realizing it. I don't want to turn you into a husk of a woman that you are. But I don't know how to remove it on my own. If I could just...control it...." He gritted his teeth and turned, brushing her hair from her face. "If it meant I could be with you, I'd be willing to do anything." Penny scratched his cheek though it felt more like it was burning than itching. "Yeah...I'm, uh, alright now. S-say...are you...doing anything later? I mean...if we're able to leave this place." Genesis felt a dull ping in his head and pain blossomed right behind his eyes. "And there it is... Lord K...ah, Sitnah should be on his way here now. He said he has something to tell me."
Chuch~ Yuka pulled at Ceril's arm. "You mustn't go out there. If a werewolf has caught our scent....I'm sure...she means no harm...I suppose? Allow me to offer to you to stay here for the day. Daylight is approaching and soon the sun will be too bright to leave. I'll handle the wolf." Yuka poked her head out the door and closed it softly behind her. Leaving Ceril behind, in the Balmore Manor. Spying Annie, Yuka folded her hands in front of her and bowed, "Welcome and hello, Ms. Lycanthrope. I'm terribly sorry to ask this of you, but would you mind leaving?"
Balmore Manor~ Seth stood slowly and acsended the stairs. Walking back into his room, he didn't bother with the light or the covers on his bed and simply fell onto his matress. Swimming in his guilt, he'd forgotten Rin and probably landed on her, but his body felt numb. To drink that poor girl's blood and change her when she didn't even know what was happening... "Unhappy Birthday, little one." he whispered into the dark.
Balmore Manor~ The minute Mimi's eyes shut, Seth removed his wrist from her mouth and began gulping down her blood. Draining her completely would mean death, but with a sliver of life and his blood in her veins, she'd be alright. In a few days, tops, she'd wake to a world that didn't seem so wonderful in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life". He loathed himself as he swallowed the last mouthful and released her. His fangs felt longer and probably were. With each new change he initiated...he felt more and more like what his ancestors had looked like. Long fanged beasts, bent on only feeding. "I'm sorry... M-Mirabelle...would you take Miss Johanna and the child to a spare room for the daytime?" Mirabelle obliged, taking Mimi from Seth and cradling her against her chest. "Come this way, Johanna."
Kiel shrugged. "I suppose...well you are currently the Seraph of the High Court...I'm not sure if they can stop you..." He made a face as if he didn't think the wording was correct and sounded foolish. Penny kicked Tristan, "Shut up! You're not very subtle, y'know." He blushed and glanced sideways at Schuyler. Ren struggled with all of it. The emotions roiling inside him and Kaila's touch. "S-stop...just....just a minute..." he panted, pulled away from her and stumbled away from her. Trying desperately to center himself, Ren closed his eyes and rested his hand on a desk. He wasn't one to say stop usually. But without it...the Dark Court would feed through him off of Kaila's emotions. He wouldn't rob her off her senses like that. It was always a dull feeling once he took what he couldn't return. "Kaila..." he figured the most logical for her was to be upset and leave. He didn't want her to leave. Genesis closed his eyes, "Just give me a minute..."
Balmore Manor~ Seth felt a heavy weight settle in his chest. "Then forgive me little one. I am not a man to deny those their deepest wishes. I can see in your eyes this is what you wish. Although it pains be greatly....I will oblige you and Johanna." He bit into his wrist and held it to the girl's mouth, "Drink....soon...this will be all that you want...all that you crave for. Your past pain and sorrow will be erased...in a wash of this night's end. A pure wish...is my command. I pray you do not tire of your life I will give you." If he could've cried then, he would've...but his tears had long dried up since. Bending over her, he sank sharp fangs into her throat as he pressed his bleeding wrist to her mouth, making her drink.
Balmore Manor~ Seth felt something clamp down inside his gut. "You want to go outside, in the sunlight? Or would you be alright with night-time runs with a good friend?" He tried to keep his voice light and inviting, but sorrow weighed him down like a house on his back.
