Kiel lifted one corner of his mouth and moved to catch Tori's eye. "Then I'll be impressed when I meet this Tristan. Maybe that Grimm kid was in shock? Hey, Schuyler, you spent a bit of time with that Grimm kid, right? Does he seem like an alright kid? I don't think I'd be comfortable knowing a classmate has to protect him if he's some psychopath." Regi shook his head, dropping Lulu's porciline face back onto the floor, "There is one more Dark Hunter and Kadaj...and his army of monsters. There isn't anything we can do...but there's something you can do, Mr. Perry. If you survive til the day after Halloween, mankind and your world as you know it will survive too." Regi frowned at Lulu's back and fell silent. "Why thank you for watching the Bloody Blossom. I'm quite grateful to your strength, Regi. Mr. Perry...please, all your questions will be answered tomorrow. Now...if you can, would you escort the demon with me down to the basement? Mr. Perry, this is a Summer Girl, Kallai has loned her to me for the moment to bring you to your room and make you comfortable. She's by all means human." Yves smiled at Tristan as a tanned girl wearing a short skirt and a tank top wrapped herself around Tristan's arm. "They're friendly creatures...so do mind your manners. If anything were to happen to her, Kallai would have my wings." The Summer Girl smiled up at him, being about a foot shorter than him. Her eyes were a bottomless blue and her pupils were diallated. Yves and Regi, practically carrying Lulu marched up to Uriel's chair and flicked a switch behind it, creating an opening behind her chair down to the basement.
Raina bit her lower lip and knelt beside him, "Then I shall come to your level. My name is Raina. I'm--" "Goddess Raina! Once more, by decree of my Lady, I challenge you and your Warrior. This time, I'll kill the both of you." the white haired boy narrowed his silver eyes at Auran, "He does not give off your radiant light...perhaps...he has not formed the contract yet. Then I shall kill you before he can! Raina!" Raina jumped up and scurried behind Auran. "Protect me, Warrior of Light." The white haired boy dashed forward, drawing a long silver sword from it's sheath at his side. Mithos sighed, "Well...looks like it's fight or be killed in a battle that isn't ours. For crying out loud Auran, MOVE YOUR @SS!"
Kiel chuckled, though his mind ravaged what the end of Tori's sentence was. "It's not like something bad couldn't still happen, y'know." He thought back to the frightened expression on Penny's face, "That guy...the human. He fainted, didn't he? You really want to meet more of them that will faint when they meet you? Sure, they're interesting, but really...when I can find one that stands up to you and not faint...then I'll be impressed." Kiel thought over what Tori said, she'd told him parts of her past..even how she met Yves...wasn't that something girls kept to themselves? Thinking on it...Yves and "you" started with the same sound...would she have told him that she liked Yves? The Seraph? Kiel would be competing....against a Seraph? Worry made him reach up and touch the red half of his face. Uriel had really laid into him....her slaps felt like ice pelting his skin. every chance she got, she slapped him. Regi smiled, his crimson eyes settling back into the bright green they normally were, "I doubt you'd want to go to Hell in the first place. A place of un-ending torture...pain and fire...it's maddening just remembering it." Of course Regi spoke from experience. Clawing his way out the door with every ounce of energy he had, Regi broke free of the higher class demon's control and Kyrios kept him protected. "Oh but you miss it. You miss the smell, the feeling...the thrill don't you Reginald? You loved it just as much as I did. And now working for an angel...it's sickening, isn't it? We used to make their lives hard for them...and humans...they were our playthings! Don't you remember? Why won't you remember!!!" Regi lifted Lulu's head up and growled at her, "I hated it there. Torturing those that didn't deserve it...bringing pain and misery...it was a nightmare." She smiled, ferally, "Why right now you sound like you loved it." Ignoring her, Regi dug his knee into her back. "He'll come for me...Kadaj...or he'll send Nero. They'll come and free me from this prison. And then..we'll make your little angel friends suffer. Starting with Zadkiel Uru...and then Schuyler...and then Tori and then the rest will fall to our knees! Including your precious Seraphim."
Balmore Manor~aka~Luin Church Seth closed his eyes and sat perfectly still in the basement of the church. The sun was out and the children would be at play... It was his time for scribing and accounting...such boring work. Cracking one dark brown eye open he glared at his accounting books. They always gave him such a headache. No matter how many times he'd told Yuka not to give him green backings for his accounting books, she did it anyways. Green...a lothesome color...the color of life. He slid two pale white fingers under the right side of it and flicked his wrist, flipping the book shut with a soft slapping sound. Giving a small satisfied smirk, he took a deep breath and.... "Master, I do hope you intend to return to that book once you're done...breathing." the soft voice of a very familiar woman came from the doorway. Sliding his eyes over to her reluctantly, Seth silently pleaded with his first maid Yuka. Her brown hair was pulled up into a bun again and those bright blue eyes stared at him with such kindness and affection that Seth felt bad and opened the book again. "Yes...I do indeed, Yuka." Seth hated his duties and yet Mirabelle was probably upstairs cleaning up and Cooke preparing an unnecessary bounty of food for the party tonight. "Yuka...remind me again why vampires come to my parties?" Yuka huffed, her maids outfit barely moving as she quietly stepped closer to him and smoothed his brown hair back from his forehead, "Because you are the last Pureblood. They must show their respect for you and attend at least once a month to do buisness. Lest their companies go under and all of Luin would suffer." Seth smiled and scralled a bit into the accounting book, "We've made a small profit of late...but it was demolished by the last expenses for the party and cleanup. Cooke demands more spices that get more expensive and Mirabelle longs for the completion of a roof over the gardens so she can work in the daylight." Yuka gave him a sympathizing smile, "Such is the work of the Pureblood Seth Balmore." Suzaku snored on the tree branch that he'd camped on last night. Having let Nina catch up on her sleep, he felt exhausted and sleep had overtaken the red-headed Dhamphir. "Suzaku...Suzaku...hey! WAKE UP!" His eyes shot open and quickly focused on the extremely close pale face of Nina Tepes, his partner. "Nina..how many times must I ask you not to wake me like that? I'd prefer to be woken up by a gentle...kiss." He grabbed her around her waist and pulled her against him. "See?" Nina frowned and slapped him, "All I see is you being a womanizer again. You're terrible, Suzaku." /////////////////////// Luin~ Lucille hurried out of her adoptive family's home and rushed down the road towards school. She'd be late, so very late! Still fiddling with the buttons on her shirt, Lucille tripped and landed face first on the paved road. "Ow ow ow ow ow....sheesh...I'm sooo gonna be late... I didn't even have time to grab breakfast." she moaned as her stomach growled at her. Picking herself up and dusting her black skirt off, Lucille started again, being a bit more hasty.
Regi flinched a bit as one by one his feathers grew back slowly. "The Olive branch is a representation of peace and possesses a demon-exorsizing ability. The leaves are put in with the demon ashes to quell the demon's natural urge to cause chaos and terror so it will dissolve and return to Hell easier. Back in the older days, we used to just shove them in their mouths... Probably pissed them off real good..." Kiel stopped halfway down the hall and stared at the hollow of Tori's throat. "I should apologize to you too... Humans aren't...that bad...but...I just don't really like that Grimm guy. He surprised me, is all..." Reaching up to touch his face, Kiel gently prodded his cut rather than the redder parts, "Oh...it doesn't hurt...well maybe a little...alright yeah, a lot. After everybody left...the Headmaster said she'd punish me like angels used to punish humans... I kinda feel bad for them now. All this...hurts." Kiel tried a smile, his face rebelling against it, "It's alright. I know how I acted before...but Tori...I really do like you. I just don't really know how to show it." Yves chuckled and Sanya uncomfortably fiddled with her arm. She didn't like the High Court Seraph simply because her court was it's polar opposite. Penny waved after Schuyler, grinning. "Well she's nice." Awkwardly registering the uncomfortable silence between Seraph and teacher, Penny fell slient and laid back on the bed. "This is going to be one long day."
Mithos gave the image of kicking up his feet and folding his arms, "Well hot damn...a girl leaves you and suddenly it's the end of the world. If I didn't know better, I'd say you were just scared to move on and do your own thing." He ripped out his hair, "What the hell am I talking about this for... I just want your body so I can move freely! Rrrrr....huh?" Mithos forced Auran's head to move, jerking painfully left and he whistled in Auran's head, "Well well well...seems the pretty flowers flock to you." Raina combed her fingers through her blonde hair nervously. She wasn't sure if this depressed creature would agree to her contract. "Hello... Can you stand?" She watched him with gentle golden eyes set in a warm sun-kissed face. "Can you stand?" she repeated, unsure if he even spoke the same language as she was. Etraine doubled over, suppressing her laughter as she watched her sister speak to a mortal through her viewing pool. "He's not even a Goddess Warrior or a Champion...why bother? ...yes...why bother, sister?"
Mithos raged inside Auran's head, "Nothing else to do? What am I? Chopped liver? I don't like not being in control! Your mind is a mess! YOU'RE NOT DONE!" Spoiler http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_GMQaikzpu_E/Sw3i905qjYI/AAAAAAAAAl0/Vl6B01gClME/s1600/Goddess7sm.jpg Raina - Etraine Spoiler http://wallpaper-s.org/18__Raina%2C_Goddess_of_Light%2C_Shaiya_MMORPG.htm She watched from above in silence and sorrow. For one so young to have experienced so much. It was painful for her to watch and yet she couldn't tear her eyes away from the young man walking away from the fading memory of one he loved. "My warrior...my knight." she whispered gently, letting her softly spoken words travel along the breeze. Spoiler http://bestgamewallpapers.com/files/shaiya-light-and-darkness/dark-goddess_wide.jpg Her sister...her lovely sister...always so sickeningly nice and kind and lovely and gentle. She really wanted to wipe the smug smile off her face once and for all....and now was the time to act! "Ryuu...it's time to play with sister Raina again." Somewhere, deep in the jungle, a boy with white hair and pale skin, wearing silver armor and gently holding a sword that glittered and glowed with ancient writing on it's blade lifted his head. "Yes, Goddess Etraine."
Regi sighed, he seemed reluctant to answer Tristan's question. "They'll interrogate her first...I won't be there since a demon will call out to those of it's kind for help...it's just too painful to watch. Then...after they get what they want, they'll kill her, burn the body and trap the ashes in a bottle of holy water with an olive leaf and wait until they can return her to Hell." Yves nodded, "Yes, he's not a very sociable person, but he has a kind heart..underneath all that ice." Kiel knocked on the door, staring at the floor as he entered, "Headmaster Uriel has asked that Tori and Schuyler return to class...sir." Kiel's face was half dark red with a long, thin cut across his cheek and even a footprint half embedded in his forehead. Around his neck were deep red lines and he swallowed with great difficulty. Yves gave him a side look, "Alright. They're not needed here anymore. Thank you Zadkiel." He reached over towards Kiel and watched him flinch in response, "I take it you said something very wrong in front of Uriel... She did this to you, didn't she?" Avoiding his gaze, Kiel turned around, "I shouldn't have called the hu...Mr. Grimm, an usurper of our Father's attention. In my eyes I thought we didn't...I thought..." Sighing, Kiel pushed open the door and left.
Regi laughed, "Oh wow...I wish I coulda heard what he said. Seems like whatever it was, it embarrassed you. You gotta be tired...I'd say I'd show you to a room...but somebody has to look after Lulu here." Lulu snarled and he pressed her face further into the floor. Sanya frowned, "Hm? Oh...well...before he was in the dining hall...then the training room...then the potions room which is on the other side of the school...and then he was looking in Gabriel's room...the guy warps...a lot." Penny felt like he was being treated like some sort of new pet, "I suppose that's an angel thing..." "More like a Seraphim thing. High Court angels are suspicious." "Is that so, Miss Logos?" Yves smiled brightly and Sanya shrugged, turning away from him. "Evening Mr. Grimm...it seems like you wandered off without me around to guide you. However did you manage to find anyone?" Penny felt like the Seraph believe he was incompetent. Patting Tori's head, Yves pulled her closer to him and lifted her wrist with the ribbon. "You see, Mr. Grimm...each Court presents it's members with a symbol of their Court. I believe...there is a gift for the humans...but my memory is fleeting. I should..."talk" to Enan about it...but he's being stubborn at the moment."
Penny shut his mouth, staring wide-eyed at Tori and moved his gaze to the short silver haired girl. Unconsciously, he leaned into Schuyler's touch. "I...I'm sorry... Kinda... a lot to process in one day. I mean...one second we were going to check out what I thought was an abandoned school...and then we're attacked...and meeting angels...and demons...and...ow!" He jumped slightly as Sanya took a bit of his blood in a syringe. "Oh...right, uh, that'll hurt." Penny rubbed his arm, "So...angels..go to school too, huh? Weird, I thought they were all taught everything in Heaven and such." Sanya laughed, "That's ridiculous. Being taught about the world...Hell and Heaven, the Hierarchy, the History, the monsters, the other angels, the Tree, the Book, and etc is too much to take in when we're first hatched from the Tree of Life...or in some cases, specially born from our parents who chose to live here on earth. I was hatched. As a cherub things are brighter...kinder and Heaven is absolutely...wonderful...but it's a bit too quiet but your world isn't much better. There's fueds and disputes and even the occasional fight....especially from the Winter Court and Summer... That reminds me...I saw Amittai wandering around like a lost puppy a while ago." Penny swallowed just from the memory of Amittai, the tanned man with six wings and a smile that could charm a snake. "Amittai...Tori...Schuyler...and...Ms. Logos?" he repeated their names slowly and Sanya grinned. "If you go at this pace, you'll know everybody. It's nice having new kids and all...but a human...should really be taken down to converse with the Book or meet with a messenger." Regi chuckled, "The only way you can hear the Lord's words. Don't worry, it don't hurt none. Feels kinda like...you swallowed a lot of air." Usagi waved the rose again and the bud shifted into a mist, slapping into Tristan's chest and surging into him. A few seconds later a voice like no other echoed in all parts of his mind. Filling it with colors, scents, shapes, tastes and sounds. Child of earthbound creatures...welcome to the Acadamy of Angels where my dear children will guide you on a journey only you and three others may take. This road is dangerous and I'm deeply sorry you must traverse it. You are the ones that will end Demise. I give you my blessings.
Everyone above is accepted. I'm too lazy to quote all of it. I'd like to begin soon as this is enough characters. Probably tomorrow or the weekend if I have time.
The nurse smiled gleefully, "So many visitors today. Oh my...who's this cute thing? He looks rather strong, like your friend Mr. Uru. Place him on the bed and I'll check him out in a minute. Penny felt softness surround his body and opened his eyes, staring up at Tori and Schuyler. "Not this place again. Not this dream again... This isn't happening, not to me." Sanya slammed the infirmary door shut and glowered at the nurse until she backed away from Penny. "Human anatomy is my jurisdiction, thank you. This boy is fine. Actually I don't know why he's here. It's not yet time for Mr. Grimm to visit. You're early." she pulled out a small black calendar and frowned, "Next week...you were supposed to arrive next week." Regi followed the rabbit with his eyes in surprise, "Usagi...the Lord's personal messenger. His messages are directly from the Lord. I don't think his message is for me though...are you looking for Lord Amittai again, Usagi?" The little rabbit remained stoic and twirled in the air. "I'll take that as a yes..." Usagi turned to Tristan and waved the rose in it's hand at him. "For...the human? Oh...well alright... Go ahead Tristan."
Uriel nodded briefly, "Alright Tori. Schuyler, please stay with him in the infirmary just in case he wakes up. The nurse is a bit over the top." Sending them off, Uriel returned her glare to Kiel, "Perhaps you'd like to spend a day in the Dark Court and see if the attention is "usurped" from us angels. Our Father gives us as much attention as needed. The High Court is the only one that usurps any attention." Regi blinked as a tiny flash of light rained down on him and a little white fluffy bunny floated down.
Riku rolled his blue eyes, "How should I know? I'm not her father! She just keeps calling me that. But Akii is the only thing she's called herself." Sei buried his nose in his paws and watched Xigbar and Lucien argue back and forth. Xigbar ignored Mark and continued glaring at Lucien, "Fine...we'll settle this the way she taught us to." Lucien sat down, rubbing his fur back down, "We can't... Lucretia isn't here to referee our match. We'd destroy the world without her to keep us in check. Plus....WOULD YOU LOOK AT ME?! I'M A FREAKING CUB! I WANNA BE MY NORMAL SIZE TO FIGHT YOU!" Xigbar developed an awful grin. "Wh-what?" "Pride Rock...you'll fight somebody who is your size, chum. And then if you beat him, you're welcome back home with us. If not...then you can rot here for all I care!" Verius jingled his bell, "Xenree Parenthapaeus is a being of pure darkness and incredible power. She's a nightmare...and yet she's our savior. Xenree is working to rebuild the world we used to call home. It was her home too. Kairi...other than Genji and his companions, there are other works of darkness here, threatening a light that belongs."
Lucien snarled, he didn't like to be ignored. "HEY! Your name is Mark, right? Well, I'm looking for someone. Someone should be here to take me in about now. And they certainly don't smell like you guys. Have you seen them aroung? Maybe...some guy and another with an eye-patch?" Verius nosed Kairi's Keyblade down, "Genji...you're not here to hurt the Princesses?" Genji stuck his tongue out and shook his head, "'Fraid not, old one. I heard a nice bit of info from Senri that our old friend was gonna send somebody to look for us. Figured we'd wait around and see. After all...it's been a long time since we saw that girl...I bet she's all grown up now...and pretty." A book dropped down onto Genji's head from above and he mumbled something about a stupid little brat. Verius barely moved a muscle, "Yes...I've heard she's very pretty now. And wiser than before. Less...of an animal. Xenree Parenthapaeus...the creature borne from the heart of a secret Princess... One not of this universe..." Sei shook his head, "Impossible...my sister...wouldn't go anywhere without Mother. I doubt little Akira would leave mom's side. She's mom's favorite. I should know...after all she's made up of..." he closed his mouth as Lucien started to growl. "Whoops, looks like the cats outta the bag! Get it?! HAHAHAHAH!" Xigbar toppled down from the top of the Elephant skull, still laughing as he hit the ground. Picking himself up, he smiled broadly, "Nice to see you Lucien....again." Lucien's face wasn't of relief or joy. He glowered and ruffled his fur, "I'm not the least bit happy to see you again. You still owe me for drinks that time! Grrrr....leech!" Xigbar gave a mock offended gesture and bent down to Lucien's new height, "Who me? Never... That was all Xaldin. Don't you start calling me names you little furball!" Lucein bared his teeth at him and soon the two were nose to nose throwing names around and foul words, the anger just dripping off them.
Kiel growled, "Perhaps I'm the only one that's tired of these stupid humans usurping all the attention away from us angels." He glared at Schuyler, "Don't you dare liken me to the likes of THAT." he jerked his head at Penny and Uriel stood, quickly moving, and slapped Kiel without a word but he could tell she wanted him to stop talking. Holding his now burning cheek, Kiel glowered silently at Penny, "What's so special about him anyways? I'm not like him...I have wings...I'm an angel...he's not..." Regi kept his eyes away from Tristan, as they were still glowing a deep crimson, "Lord Amittai and Headmaster Uriel will decide her fate. For consorting with Kadaj I hope she is put to death rather than isolation or exile. Going back to Hell isn't death...but it's a pain to get out again." Regi smoothed back his hair and finally let his crimson eyes settle on Tristan, "You know...the young miss you met today... She's a student here. She doesn't like humans very much. Be careful who you meet in t his school. Not all are as friendly as Lord Amittai. I'm grateful to your friend though. Twice, he's allowed me to drink his blood and I think it's growing on me. He's not bad...for a human. But...without angelic blood, my feathers won't grow back. It's a shame...using the Summer Court angels for this... Summer Girls...Dark Girls...they're all human...just...in love with the angels that lure them to their nests. If you talk to Ren about the Courts, he'll tell you, I'm sure. That should be your goal here. To learn what you can about the Courts and about Kadaj. The guy probably stalking you and making your life a nightmare. We've done our best to protect you...obviously it wasn't enough."
Lucien grinned a mouthful of sharp white canines, "Exactly. Oh well...uh..." Akii pounced on his wagging tail, "He used to live where I did. He's my babysitter! Right, Lu....Lucien?" she lowered her head and gave him wide blue eyes when he glared down at her, daring her to call him a girls name again. "Yes...but our world is gone now, Akii. Something we'll never get back..." Riku turned around and nosed Sora until he could speak privately with him, "This guy came from the same world as Akii, that means he's from the same world as that Xenree woman. Maybe he knows an easier way to stop the Second Impact. Sora...are you even paying attention?" Sei frowned. His form wasn't solid. As a cub, his form wavered like a dream figment, "I...I know that little girl from somewhere... I just can't put my finger on it. Carrie...is there something wrong with me?" In this form, his silver eyes were narrowed, giving the appearance of Xenree's silver eyes almost exactly. Verius followed Kairi, having taken great pains to unlock the front gate for the Princess and now being ignored completely... "Princess, be on guard...those of the dark here wish you harm. I cannot fight against beings of the same realm as I." Slinking from the shadows above the front door, a blonde haired man and a red haired woman dropped down to the ground without a sound. The woman stared blankly at Kairi and Verius from behind while the man motioned for her to move forward silently. Skidding down the railing, a man with spiky blonde hair landed in front of Kairi and Verius, drawing a scythe out of nowhere and grinning, "Alright! Time for another battle! I've been waiting for...you...huh? You're not the guy I wanted to fight! DAMMIT!" the man cursed and stomped his foot, leaning on his scythe he peered at Kairi, "Who're you?" Xigbar waved Nox off, "Go on then. Go explore...I'll try to find this chum we're lookin' for." With that, Xigbar teleported around Pride Rock, secretly examining the lions sitting around.
Uriel shook her head, "This is ridiculous. They got in here, huh? Alright then... Schuyler, Kiel, will you two take this boy to the infirmary? Forget the nurse, I think he just needs to rest." Kiel stood still like a stone statue, "There's no way I'm touching a human. Especially one that Kadaj is after." Uriel and several students stiffened. "Zadkiel Uru, that has nothing to do with your responsibilites as an angel. It is our job to protect mankind." Yves faded out, leaving Tristan and Regi alone with Lulu. Regi kept snarling at Lulu even as he held her face pressed against the marble flooring. "Pathetic creature... You don't deserve to have life!" Lulu laughed and struggled against his strength, "Why don't you try saying that when a lady is standing on her own feet?! Worthless demons working for angels are the lowest of low!" "Speak for yourself!" Regi snapped back.
Jo felt herself being carried but she couldn't open her eyes. Her body hurt all over. Igneel would be safe now. But...the nagging feeling in her heart still hadn't disappeared. She hadn't wanted to return home...not to deal with that spirit...or anything else. What was left for her to resolve? The Church...the story...it was still infecting her home...and her fire. Her own healing had to begin with getting rid of the Church from her home. Slipping back into darkness, Jo's breathing shallowed and her blood drained from her face with dread. Those in the Church weren't magic users....but they would use what they could if they found out Jo and the others were. They'd burn down the village again. She wouldn't do that to Berry again.
Riku snarled as he climbed off of the white ball of fluff and found himself glaring into another pair of golden eyes, equally furious. "Who are you?" "I should ask you the same. The Pride Lands have been my sanctuary for years. Give me your name and I shall give you mine." he said arrogantly and Riku nearly growled right out of his fur. "Arrogant little..." "Lucy? Lucy Lulu!" Akii hopped up and down, her bright blue eyes taking in "Lucy Lulu"'s appearance. Riku licked his nose, "Akii, you know this guy?" Her tiny body fumbled over to them and rubbed herself all over "Lucy Lulu's" legs. "Of course, papa, this is Lulu..." Groaning, the white lion licked her head, "I told you to stop calling me that. I'm much older than you, Akii. My name is Lucien." looking up at Riku and Mark, he repeated, "Lucien Sanki. I woke up here a few years ago...my homeworld has been devoured by Li...er...it's just gone." Verius nodded, making the bell jingle again, "I shall be beside you the entire time. I am here to guide you. Inside the Castle walls, two beings of darkness set foot within a place originally of Light. Four beings of unknown power lurk in the shadows. I believe the two have come here looking for them. Princess Belle is in dire need of a Keyblade Warrior to defend her heart." Verius padded forward until he reached the front gate.
