You should at least put the guns away when you are trying to convince someone it's a knife fight.

Seriously though, if you need help you can shoot me a PM. Just tell me any thoughts you've had on it so far so that I can point you in the right direction.

To be fair the game alters the final boss based on your performance in the preceding battles. My first playthrough I didn't have it yet when I fought him, then I went back and did post game stuff and decided to come back and do it again. I used KOTR on Jenova to knock her out quick and get to the good stuff and then Sephy handed my ass to me with a side of fries.

I tried once but it is a pain so I gave up. Bosses have more cards than you , and you lose the ability to load the top card in a sleight. So you will almost definitely be resorting to Pluto yourself by the end. And I would imagine that, like you, bosses would always have 1 card in their deck, stopping you from stopping their movement entirely.

Also never try it on final Marluxia. He has an endless deck it that form.

EDIT: Even my phone's autocorrect thinks that Marluxia is a girl.

You are free to move about as you please, both in the forums and in the castle. Perhaps one of the later hiding spots will reveal itself to you easier than the first ones

I forgot the abilities, but I think Queen+ is the only one to change (was Hastega, now Rage). The other 3 are normal I think.

Unfortunately Save the King+/Queen+ do not have altered stats. Considering the strength of the mushroom weapons I personally only make them for the journal now.

As for the 4th Paradox Cup that has also remained the same. Level 7 on summon and all drives, and completion of the the Space Paranoids Revist.

It might be conditional (like only heals if he is under 1/2 HP or something). I never really looked into it past "Yep, that is a thing that happens" but as said it is definitely there in 2.5 as well.

I find it a bit funny because I use drives a lot but I prefer not using reflect unless I have to (normally while in a form that doesn't have guard)

At any rate if you have managed to get that far in the battle I doubt I could tell you anything you don't already know. As said above limit form can make your life a lot easier (full restoration when you enter with the need for party members, and you heal a bit for each hit with a limit).

If you need a little bit more of an edge, I find that the MP Haste from Full Bloom+ works nicely; but that also requires Manifest Illusions and those are a limited supply before being able to complete ES.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot those are craftable. ES is simply the only place to get them directly.

I'm fairly certain you do get a point for using a drive when Anti is disabled. I remember before the point system was confirmed someone was testing if damage received was the trigger. They used Valor a ton of times outside of battle (not realizing that was needed), then used it in battle to purposefully get wailed on. Once he started using it in battle he went anti pretty much every other time because he had so many points to burn.

Also worth noting on Anti avoidance is that it is a two person drive,. If a party member is KOed, or not present at all, then you can't go anti even in battle. It makes for some nice Limit training in the thousand heartless battle.

Portals are a streetpass system, but Square doesn't like to exclude people that live in remote areas or whatever. So it is much more efficient to get street pass with other people, but if you fail to get DDD streetpasses the game will fake them for you every so often.

At least that is my understanding of it. I get hits often enough that I haven't encountered a fake one. But I have made use of similar systems in RE:Coded and Bravely Default.

Yeah, it has always been like that (at least on proud, I can't say first hand for the lower difficulties). The hits don't matter, and the HP return is so negligible that I don't blame anyone for not noticing. In the underworld fight especially it doesn't matter since pinball will take off a lot more than he gives himself.

The odds vary based on a hidden relationship stat. You can get him to use that nearly all of the time, or piss him off enough to make it very difficult to get him to preform it. But IIRC the beginning odds are something like 1 in 4? (assuming you pay him about 1000)

I can't troubleshoot "being poop" but you could probably get some more use out of your current PC with some TLC. (I have one that is about 20 years old and hasn't had any hardware upgrades in at least 10)

That being said if you are not very good about keeping a PC going a Mac is more stable. The only issue I've seen with longevity on Apple hardware is that smaller developers may just ignore your build once a new one comes out (notably more of an issue on the mobile devices than full computers, but still a problem). And when it finally dies and Apple support can no longer help you (or just becomes obsolete) your only course of action is to replace the whole thing. PCs you can replace one part at a time (though based on this threads existence that might be something you don't want to try)

Honestly though, I still vote PC. It's cheaper and it is what programs are most developed for. Just don't be afraid to ask for help on finding/building one and maintaining it.

I get paid on the 15th and can gladly donate when that comes in. And since you said you'll be good for about a month (or more now) that should come in before your funds run dry. Best of luck.
