Raina settled at the foot of the bed, watching him sleep. It was odd how mortals needed something called sleep when it looked like they were just...laying there. Eyes closed and breathing shallow, she'd have thought he was dead if not for the normal pulse of his heart. She curled up at his feet and closed her eyes, mimicking him and found behind her eyelids lie memories of the past...things she didn't willingly want to remember.
Luin - North Woods Nicholas watched Annie, "So...Valentine is already here...at least I'm assuming by psycho vamp you mean him... There are plenty like him in the world. If he's already met with Seth once, there will be some riled tempers tonight. I've only met Seth once." He didn't want to revisit that memory and sat straighter in the seat. "I don't mean to be a bother, but...are we nearly there yet? I've got a serious problem of silver bullets lodged in places I'd rather not expose young females to." Balmore Manor - Dining hall Seth stroked the back of her head and purred, "It's alright Rin. I'm perfectly fine. I'd rather you just forget about seeing Valentine today, but...as I see that won't happen, I'm just going to have to occupy your mind." Balmore Manor - Basement Yuka fiddled with the photo and twitched, much like a nervous vampire would. "Well..yes..it is...but...Ms. Lirum left us so long ago... She wanted to go to New York...and become a journalist. She made Seth so very happy...I haven't seen him smile like he used to. Not even with that young human girl he has now."
Kiel mumbled something under his breath, "That's...no, I'm fine. I just didn't think...well guys aren't really allowed in girls' rooms. The last time...I shouldn't have come in here." Penny paced nervously. It wouldn't be fair for his stupid father's side of his genes to ruin whatever he'd had with the angel now. "Ah, thanks man. Schuyler...um, it's probably too late to ask this but...is that guy your friend? He just seems a bit...off to me." Kallai and Kyrios held each other's eyes in a harsh glare until Enan shoved them apart. A risky move considering Kallai would scorch him and Kyrios would proabably rip him apart. "That's enough! You're acting like Cherubs at our Broher's funeral. Save your petty arguments for later, Sitnah. Kallai...I know you're upset, but please...keep a cool head for the students. Uriel and Gabriel are hurting too." Regi sulked by the entrance to the school, watching the mournful mass of white. "This is my fault...if...if I was a proper Dark Warrior I'd have made sure our opposing Seraph was safe. I should've been stronger. Mea cupla...mea maxima cupla..." he mumbled in latin.
Balmore Manor - Dining hall Seth sat next to Rin, his eyes closed as he sat perfectly still. "Is something the matter, Rin? You've been awfully quiet recently. Usually, you're very talkative. Don't tell me I have to sleep with you every night just to get you to speak?" he chuckled and cracked one eye open, glancing at Rin from the corner of his eye.
Raina's face formed into a slight pout as she thought. "Would my laying here while you sleep benefit you in your sleep?" She truly didn't understand the concept of sleep. ~~~~~~ Etraine fell onto the floor of her Tower of Babil in a fit of laughter. Raina was so stupid she was hilarious.
Luin Nick watched carefully as Annie dug out a few more of the remaining silver bullets lodged in his legs. His bright blue eyes closed for a moment and opened again as a silver bullet popped out of his chest into his hand. Jerking, Nick dropped it onto the floor of the car and exhaled fully for once. "You girls live out here now...I suppose you're familiar with the territory by now...correct? Have you seen little Seth lately? Is he well?" He didn't want to bring up Seth, but his promise dictated he at least know he was well. Balmore Manor - Basement Yuka glanced at the papers Ceril set aside and chuckled, "That was the year Seth first started filling out his taxes. Don't worry about the money. He only would've splurged on something he didn't need. I say it's good to be relieved of all that money. He makes enough as it is. The more current ones should be correct though...even though the amounts are drastic." Yuka tucked the papers in a three ring binder and set them inside a box for storage. Rifling through a few papers, Yuka uncovered an old picture of Seth and a woman with black hair in a blue dress. Yuka bent and carried the box away from the desk, shoving it into a large closet along with the others.
Penny frowned, "Did I do something wrong here? Does nobody else feel that weird feeling around that guy, like he might do something drastic at any second?" He pulled on his shirt sleeve and shook his head, "I sure as hell hope she doesn't cancel...there's still the possibility she'll give me a second chance. C'mon, Tristan, be a pal and help a guy out. That guy just...gives me a weird feeling." Kiel brought her to her room, restricting himself to not even placing a toe across the threshold of her room. "You'll call me if you need anything, alright? I'm going to head to my room for a shower and a change of clothes..." Kadaj impatiently waited at the edge of the scorched medow for Kaila. He dug his boot into the charred grass and Nero busied himself with plucking the student's hair out one by one.
Raina looked around the hotel room and pressed a hand into the matress of the bed. "Soft... So, this is what you mean by sleep. Your sleep...does it require me?"
Luin Main Road Nick wrapped the blanket around him, not feeling self-conscious like he should about being naked in the presence of two girls, but worried about ruining their seats. "You need not. With the full moon tomorrow night...I'll need rest afterwards and I'm sure he's busy. I must find the girl first. How hard can it be to find a human girl that reeks of Vampire?" He glanced around the car and eyed Annie's fingers. "Do you have a knife...or could you dig them out with your claws? These silver bullets really sting. I'd like them removed quickly. A knife would be good." Balmore manor Seth ushered Rin into the dining room again, met by a simple sandwich and Cooke's nervous chatter. Yuka took Ceril down into the basement where Seth's strange office lie and set on the piles of accounting papers and etc to be sorted and filed away.
Genesis and Penny glowered at each other and Genesis stepped closer to Penny, "I don't think she wants you touching her right now, human. You'd best mind your place." Penny released Schuyler and grabbed Genesis' collar. "What'd you say?" Smirking, Genesis chuckled, "Need a hearing aid, human? Now get your dirty hands off of my shirt. This is a funeral, not a brawl." Shoving Genesis backwards, Penny took a single step to follow and was greeted by Genesis' red sword tip. "I'll ask you once...do not shove me again. I won't take kindly to abuse from humans." Glancing to Schuyler, he felt bad hurting her, "And I don't need your sympathy!" His blue eyes glittered with fresh tears as he turned away and disappeared into the crowd. Kiel shuffled her away from the crowd and back towards the school. "Today must be hard for you... I didn't know him like you did. Or something... He seemed much more interested in you, Tori. Maybe you could do with some sleep." Kallai and Kyrios snarled at each other, interrupting Uriel's recitation. "You wanna say that again, you dirty, lowlife?! Brother never allowed that, what makes you think we're going to stand by and let you do something so stupid?!" Kyrios stood quietly by and let his sister vent. "Because...I have the answers. Yves never told us anything about what he discussed with Father, why should we assume the roles of blank slates and continue doing something that we don't even know about? I say we change this and do things our way." Kallai's blonde hair ruffled in the wind, "You mean your way." she snarled and Kyrios shrugged, petting Nana's head. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Micheal stared down at the funeral for his young brother. Though older in status, and younger in years, Yves had never pulled rank on him and with them down there he smiled freely. It was a curious thing for him to do. The High Court Seraph that rarely smiled before had smiled plenty on Earth. Glancing over, he watched Yves staring at a girl in the mortal world. The one he'd chosen as his heir. "Before you ask...I'm not feeling nostalgic. I simply don't know if she can handle everything. Usagi is late with my message...and I fear something terrible will happen if Kaila gives Kadaj only half the spell. Perhaps..." he turned hopeful golden eyes on his brother and was rejected.
Raina brushed her fingers through Auran's hair and pinched his cheek. "You're cute when you're sensitive. Well, by your leave."
Genesis nearly jumped out of his skin when Schuyler touched him. "Oh...it's just you. Uh...I just...I don't like being in debted to people." Penny huffed, "Competition...hmph... I think I can correct that." Breaking off away from Tristan, Penny slipped his arm around Schuyler's waist. "A friend?" Genesis stared at Penny and glowered at him. "Yeah, you could say I'm her friend." Kiel tugged Tori closer to him and stroked her hair. "If you want to leave, I'm sure they'd understand."
Balmore Manor Seth looked up from Rin and smiled gently at Ceril, "Because I trust you. Unlike the rest of the vampires in this town, I like you, Ceril. Anthony is ll about buisness..and he doesn't listen to me anyways. Everyone else is all about eating people...which I must remind them again that we don't eat people." Patting Rin's head, he gave her a gentle push towards Cooke, "You'll have dinner now." Luin Main Road The man winced and finally opened bright blue eyes fully. "Sorry...I'm not here to make friends with vampires...especially Purebloods...I'm just here for Lu. My name is Nicholas Roman. I'm actually surprised you don't know me." He hobbled to the car and shook brown hair out of his eyes. "I lead a pack back in Manhattan. Yesterday I got a message from an old friend telling me a human girl living in Luin would need my help. I'm a sucker for women in distress." Nick frowned, "Or maybe I'm just a sucker."
Balmore Manor Foyer Seth sighed, "We can't move in the sunlight today. I'm much too tired to fight with Valentine again and Ceril and Mirabelle can't accompany us to help Lirum home in the daylight. We'll rest...at least..I will. Ceril, Yuka, Mirabelle, Cooke...if you would just...ready dinner for Rin and prepare the car with a kit for treating wounds."
Raina released him, "Of course."
Kiel shrugged, "Nothing special. I'm sure he's got something planned for you too, Tori. Don't feel down. He's always been sketchy like that." Kiel led Tori out of the Shrine and over into the sunlight where Uriel stood reciting old verses from the Bible. Genesis brushed by Schuyler, barely glancing up as he walked by her. He mumbled a few things outside the Shrine, without going inside. "You were there for me...you protected me from Kyrios' wrath several times...for that I thank you. I don't want to be in your debt anymore."
Luin Main Road The man growled as Annie dug out a few of the bullets. "Move...faster...in that...form..." he clicked his teeth together as is he wasn't used to speaking with human lips. "You're...An-Annie..." he rasped and shoved himself up onto his elbows and knees. "Full moon's...tomorrow? I need...to find....little Seth. She said...Lu would need me...and him..."
Balmore Manor Seth figured everyone was waiting for an answer. "Lirum is...was...my human consort for a while. Twenty years ago, I loved her and I thought she loved me. Things happened and she left for New York like she'd always wanted to. I didn't think she'd come back to Luin..."
Xenree smiled malicously. "Save it? Another day? This world will remain in existance...but it's people will fight a neverending war against the Heartless. Unlike Agrabah and the worlds with a Princess of Heart, this one will stay. It's World Heart remains beneath it's crust. I have no further use for this world...but it will serve as a training ground for you Sora." She snapped her fingers and a giant Heartless formed behind her. It's massive jaws gaping wide and four large feet beat on the ground as it pranced around in a circle, tail wagging happily as three tall palm trees swayed on it's back, like a tiny island.
Luin Main Road The man shifted uncomfortably, "You...y-you're...Annie..." He pushed himself onto his back with one arm and held his other arm out to her, showing a perfect hole in his bicep. "Re...move....the bullets..." There were several perfect holes in his chest and a few on his legs. The glint of silver from each caused rivlets of sweat to roll down his forehead. Balmore Manor Foyer Seth stood, setting the vase on a table and turned to Johanna and Ceril. "That's right...he has Lirum."
