Balmore Manor - Seth's room Seth nibbled on her bottom lip and ticked her neck with his breath. "I...I need you to stop saying that." He didn't want her to love him. He didn't want her to feel the pain of when he found Lirum again. If she would take him back he would jump at the chance. It was always Lirum. But...apart of his mind tore at the thought, reminding him it was Lirum who left him, who initiated the Purge. Who killed several of his closest friends. It was her fault and the knowledge that she hated him hurt more than anything. Rin constantly told him she loved him...that she wanted to be with him....never once had she cringed away from him in fear. Even though she barely knew him, she spoke those words. "I need...you to stop speaking altogether." He licked at her neck, trailing his teeth along the delicate skin there.
Balmore Manor - Seth's room Seth kissed her back, refusing to see the tears in her eyes, even though he could smell the salt. Any other time and he would've addressed her distress, but now he didn't want any part of it. North Woods - Trail Nick flinched and snapped at Serena as she poked at his side. He growled, limping a few steps. The climb back up the hill to the trail and then back to the cabin would be impossible. Though he'd started to heal, everything felt on fire. Determined not to let two females of his own species see him in this pathetic state, he vainly attempted to climb up the hillside. Sliding back down as his muscles flexed to pull him upwards, he whimpered involuntarily in pain and bent to lick his paws.
Balmore Manor - Seth's room "That I've finally gone mad." Seth smiled slightly, unwilling to believe she wouldn't act the same. Not a party didn't go by that Lady Elizabeth didn't show up and demand his blood straight from his neck and he could've sworn everytime she tried to seduce him. "If you don't believe me...I'm sure I could make a phone call and a certain lady would gladly demonstrate what I'm talking about." He didn't like the idea of calling Elizabeth, but he didn't trust himself around Rin anymore. Fear he would do something he could never take back pulled at his unbeating heart and ate away at him from the inside.
Balmore Manor - Seth's room Seth laid on top of Rin over the covers and breathed in her scent. She was starting to smell like him. "I'm fine... You're so...warm. Rin...." he murmured her name as he moved her hair away from her neck and glowered at it as he watched her pulse beat under her skin. Changing his mind, Seth reached under the covers and pulled her hand up and set it on his neck, just below the collar of his shirt. Letting her feel the still healing puncture wounds from Lady Elizabeth's feeding. "Everyone feeds from me....if I changed you, you would too...it would be all you want. My blood or my body...never me anymore..."
Balmore Manor - Seth's room Seth frowned, mostly at himself. "Take her outside, Johanna....it's dark enough. You'll be alright. Let her expend her energy." He pulled himself to his feet and leaned over a sleeping Rin, mournfully reaching out to touch her cheek and recoiling. "Go..."
Balmore Manor - Seth's room Seth leapt from bed and pinned Mimi to the floor, his hand closing her airway and his other hand holding one of her arms above her head on the floor. Blinking, Seth returned to his senses, "Mimi...?" Pulling away from her, Seth crouched at the base of his bed and folded his arms around his knees like a little boy. "I...don't...don't do that again." His mind racing for an explanation, he landed on one thing only. The vampire within him considered Rin as his mate, which made him sick to his stomach, and he saw Mimi's playfullness as a threat to Rin's life. Thus, eliminating that threat was the only way to go. But Mimi was apart of his family now, not a threat.
North Woods - Trail Nick sunk his teeth into Valentine's shoulder as the vampire tore at the fur and skin on his flank. "Get your filthy...mutt teeth out of my body!" Ripping him away, Nick found himself flying through the air and landed against a tree. Suppressing a whimper, he pulled himself to his paws and shook his head of the flashing dark spots bursting in front of his eyes. Valentine growled, "You've ruined my best suit. You stupid mutt!" Kicking Nick in the side, the wolf snapped and bit Valentine's leg, tearing fabric along with skin away from the bone. Valentine lifted his head and Nick's ears twitched backwards as they heard Serena descending from the trail after them. Valentine turned on his heels and bolted away, leaving Nick panting and licking his nose as he sniffed at his wounds. They'd heal soon enough. Balmore Manor - Basement Yuka nodded silently, "Yes I suppose it is... Ah...with Valentine out there please be extra careful. And...Seth said he found werewolves living in Luin now so...be wary tomorrow night as it's the full moon."
He beat harder, "She said she hated you! She left you and still you grieve over her! Without a goodbye, or anything, she left you!"
Yves agreed with her quietly. "Keep him close. Fallen angels are deathly afraid of Seraphim and archangels. They fear us because we removed their wings so many years ago. You saw how Kyrios ripped out Genesis' wing... After something like that happens to an angel, they start to fear the one who took their wings. I'm sure Genesis is paranoid and afraid of Kyrios now." Gabriel nodded, his blue eyes engulfing Tristan's emotions. "Yes...the key. Some things weren't meant to exist. Like demons and even angels... So, I've heard you had a moment with a Summer Girl." Genesis stood, rubbing at the wound on his back from his missing wing. "Alright...if you ever change your mind I'll be around. Do you have a cell phone?" He reached into his pocket, pulling out his thin black flip phone. Elena knelt, her face becoming somber, older without a smile marking her face. "Yes...I suppose... Bananach has been hiding for years now. Even Kyrios hasn't seen her. It worries me that he lets her run loose." Ren brushed his lips against hers. "Alright then Kaila." Ren kissed her and wrapped his black, disheveled wings around her.

Yves frowned for a moment and closed his golden eyes, "I'd assume he asked them about his father...but that's most unlikely. He's more worried about your mental health than his own at the moment. The boy makes promises but not oaths...they mean nothing. He mearly says them so he can feel closer to you. Angels....and Nephilim are different beings altogether. Zadkiel Uru...is a Nephilim...half angel...half human. I sense a longing within him to know who his father is, but a more fierce desire to protect you from something. Perhaps...himself? In the summer...on the sixth night of Cheshevan, a fallen angel will come here to possess Kiel's body and do as he pleases. It's something Seraphim have never involved themselves with because fallen angels usually aren't apart of our jurisdiction...they're archangels' problems. I wonder..." He trailed off and fiddled with a beaded portion of his hair. Gabriel grinned, his blue eyes softening towards the boy, "Yes...it's yours now. I've designed it for a human to weild and protect themself against what the night offers. It's very effective against angels and demons. In the hilt, there is a small removable vial of water from the river that flows through Heaven. It's small but the purest of water. In a pinch, it should do considerable damage to a demon or an angel that has rejected our Father. Understand?" Genesis watched her face change and felt confusion roil within him. Why should he care what this human felt. Why did he care? "Do you...want to go back? I...I could take you home....if that's what you desire. I mean...it'd be hard for me, since I...I can't do spells that conceal my wing, but...I could get you close to your house." He wanted desperately to make the girl before him happy, which felt strange in his bones. Penny nervously smiled at Schuyler, "Ah, that's a relief. I was a little worried." Elena smiled, releasing Schuyler's hand, "In a way, yes. Black Roses are the lovely symbol of Bananach, a member of the Dark Court. She's a half demon, half angel sort of creature. She's the reason vampire myths started. The woman has no self control." Ren frowned, not finding her joke funny. "I see....wait...what?" He blinked rapidly and grabbed her hand, pulling her against his chest. "Kadaj has become more of a problem to you than I realize. I'll...have to ask Elena to look at the meadow when she comes back. Her affinity for plants and music should be able to restore it to a less than perfect condition...I think." He felt awful. Memories of Yuukki flashed before his eyes. How lovingly she'd joked with him and even when she was taken into the Dark Court, she smiled at him, pretending like she wasn't losing her mind every time they fed off her emotions. He vowed it wouldn't happen again and was cursed for that vow. Renewing his vow, Ren tilted her head back, his yellow eyes boring into her relentlessly as he trailed warm fingers along her jawline.
North Woods - Trail Nick nodded his furry head once and twitched his ears, scanning the forest for Valentine. He moved behind her and nosed her in the back, trying to get her moving. A snarl emitted from the forest edge and Nick spun around, growling in turn. Yellow dominated his eyes and his lips pulled back, revealing long, white canines. Valentine dropped down from a tree and Nicholas snarled with such force the ground seemed to vibrate. "Oh, I'm soooo scared. Big bad wolf, going to bite me are we? Quite the old fella, aren't you? Controlling your inner demon. But...alas your girlfriend is injured...however will you get her home? Can't carry her...you're just a mutt." Nick's fur lifted on his shoulders in rage and he launched himself at Valentine. Thrashing and struggling with the vampire on the ground they rolled into the underbrush of the forest and disappeared. The occasional sounds of a bark of pain or a gutteral grunt coming from the approaching darkness.
Yves shrugged, "Probably...but it's not everyday you get to see your own funeral. It's...depressing actually. But I'll stay as long as you want me to, little Seraph." He held a barely visible hand an inch away from her head and made the motion of patting her head. "How's Kiel?" Gabriel nodded, "True...but it's our duty to teach you then. We are, after all, guardians of the human population. How much use would we be if we sat around all day and watched you die? After all...we have a second home, you do not." Gabriel held his hand in front of Tristan and materialized a light-weight sword. "Keep this with you. At least for a while, until I find a better suited weapon for you." Genesis knelt in front of her, holding his black sweater in his hands, "You guess? If you're uncomfortable staying here...I could ask one of the girls to let you borrow their room..." Elena pulled Schuyler's finger from her mouth and touched it to a single black rose in the field of red and white roses. "Did you know black roses like the occasional taste of blood? The nutrients in our blood give them the extra something to make them appear black. Beautiful..." Ren was not fooled by her words. "It matters not how long I've been waiting. What's wrong? Did someone say something to you?" He practically bounded across the small space with large steps to stand close to her and gently wipe tears from her cheeks. "You're upset...and this puts me in a less than friendly disposition. Tell me what's made you like this so suddenly. And do not lie and say it's the funeral."
Balmore Manor - Basement Yuka smiled. "Seth is always looking out for us." North Woods - Trail Nicholas pulled off the clothes Serena had given him and hung them in a tree. Letting his bones shift inside him and fur sprout from his pores. He dropped to all fours, letting his change take place and finally stretched when it was over and bound through the woods, following Annie's scent. A wolf with dark grey fur and a large build streaked through the trails and finally came padding up to Annie. Bright blue eyes with a yellow ring surrounding the iris probed the darkness. He barked once at her and prodded her with his nose.
Mithos snorted, "Feelings for her? Is it really all? Or do you just feel lonely cause you've got no one left to talk to?" He already knew he was being a prick but he wanted out.
Raina yanked off his hood, "Can't or don't want to help it?"
"Hmm...I wouldn't call him amazing to his face. Even though he's my little brother and older brother...I don't think he thinks he's amazing. After all...all those stories are true. Banishing Lucifer from Heaven...it was hard on him. Lucifer was all our Brothers. We didn't want to see him go but....ah," he shook his head, "I digress...it's much too complex. Back to the situation... When Michael comes for his visit, try to mimic him in expressions...meaning..be void of all emotion. The man believes there is no room for emotions in an Archangel or Seraphim's life. Don't be afraid to speak up against him. He does listen occasionally." Gabriel glanced up, staring wide eyed at the human boy for a moment before letting a natural smile dominate his face, "Yes...you're right, of course. Saving my Seraph was beyond my control. Thank you Tristan...I'd forgotten the limits of my capabilities." Though he didn't seem very happy to admit it, Gabriel smiled anyways and patted the boy on the shoulder. "Anything bothering you? After all...we did just drag you into a funeral and problems that had nothing to do with you just a few days ago." Genesis ruffled his hair, feeling irritated that the human thought he was interested in Schuyler. "Fine...I don't need the hassel anyways. You two get some sleep...I'm...just gonna throw back on my normal clothes and head out for patrol..." Elena glanced back at Schuyler. "Oh not yet. Someplace in Ireland would be nice though...all those rolling green hills...and many handsome Summer Court angels live around there." She smiled sweetly and yet her soft green eyes were sad. "Kaila?" Ren pushed off the corner wall and watched her pass by. She looked in pain over something. The Kadaj thing? Or had someone said something to her about being a traitor...?
Balmore Manor- Seth's room Seth murmured to Rin as she slept, keeping a careful eye on her. The girl certainly was dangerous, but Valentine's words about Lirum bothered him. Lirum wouldn't come back to Luin...she'd sworn it on her own life. She hated him as much as he loved her. Basement Yuka nodded, "Mm. It has. Oh yes...I was meaning to tell you. The new bookstore in town is run by a vampire employed by Seth's company so it's open twenty-four/seven now. North Woods - Cabin Nick poked his head out the window of the bathroom. Since he wouldn't fit through, he quietly walked to the door. Sniffing along the way. Annie wasn't back yet and he was sure the girl wouldn't stay away from food for long. Not with the full moon approaching she wouldn't keep out in the dark. Lightly stepping out the door, Nick sniffed again and the hairs in his nose burned at the sickeningly sweet smell of Vampire. Worse...Pureblood vampire. The yellow ring reappeared around his blue iris' and he bolted into the night, leaving the door hanging open. North Woods - Trail Valentine watched Annie carefully. The wolf was hurt and yet no blood spilled. It was rather disappointing. Wolf hung in the air and old hate boiled in his blood.
Raina didn't believe him. She pulled on his hair, "Tell me. You dream of that girl, don't you? Your memories run rampant in your head when you sleep."
Yves yawned, "But now it's your turn to think of what to do. I shall watch over you, but the decisions are yours to make, Tori. The High Court is yours. Someday soon...you should expect a visit from our Brother Michael. He's like everyone else in Heaven...quiet, bland, and way too serious." Gabriel stood next to Tristan, not drawing attention to himself as he watched the students slowly wander back to classes or their rooms. "What should I have done?" he spoke to himself, unaware he was speaking aloud. Genesis lead Giselle back inside and back to his room. His mind busy on other things, he shed his white shirt and tossed his sword onto the floor beside his dresser. "You want anything?" Penny held the shears loosely in his hand and plucked a stray leaf from the vine. Elena pulled him towards the flower fields and set him to work on pulling weeds. "It's alright...Uriel told me you'll be taking special classes in a few weeks to prepare. Along with the humans. You all are going to have a lot of magic and weaponry tasks ahead of you." The nurse did a full examination and prodded the bare patches on his head. "It'll grow back. I'll send him back to class once he wakes up."
