Balmore Manor Seth and Valentine glowered at each other for a long moment before Valentine pulled out his cell. "If that was twenty years ago..then who is she?" he showed Seth a picture of a woman with black hair and bright blue eyes. Her lovely face was marred by knife slashes. Seth gaped, "She promised she'd leave... Lirum... Valentine what have you done?! Let her go! She's not...not my human anymore. She left me." Valentine chuckled, "Goodness..if she's not your human...mind if I make her mine? She's quite fiesty and I like violent girls." Yuka peered over Ceril's shoulder at the picture and covered her mouth, suppressing the gasp that came from within her.
Sanya took the bracelet and examined it, "That's quite alright, Kaila.... I'd prefer to let my mechanic handle repairs. I can fix this up easy. Magic doesn't really go well with my gears..." She slowly moved her mechanical fingers into a fist and pocketed the bracelet. "All I need is a few new parts and some oil." Kiel closed his eyes and set his head on the table. Kadaj snarled at Nero, "What do you mean?! She'll get back to me at sunset...jeez..women...this is why you don't rely on women to do a job that requires anything! My Lord Demise will not wait! Too long has he been sealed under the earth, straining against the seals that keep him bound."
Sanya tore out the page to bring back the Immortal and closed the book before it could make a protest. "I've got an idea. This spell will bring him back in his Immortal state. I'm sure Kadaj doesn't know the difference between them. This spell must be completed during a full moon and since the one this month was early and there isn't one until next month, we have a whole month to prepare those humans, the Children of Evangelion, for the fight. They are our way out!" Kiel slumped down next to Tori and closed his eyes. "This is difficult."
Balmore Manor Foyer Seth sighed and cleared his throat. "You have to see...I am older than you by several years. Why have you decided to show your...ugly mug here in my home this afternoon?" Valentine set a perfectly sculpted hand on his brother's shoulder, "Trust me...if I could say I decided this...I'd go eat grass because it upsets my stomach. Father called me...said you were keeping a human...and that I should remind you why you can't have human consorts. You break things." Seth snarled, "That's you that breaks things...and I have no human consort. That was twenty years ago! Father is behind on his information. Now get out of my house, Valentine!"
Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth pushed himself up, with Mirabelle supporting him as he heard the door practically break itself down. She helped him move through his now darkened home and met Valentine at the door. "Valentine..." Balmore manor Foyer Valentine grinned, he'd completely forgotten about the wolf girl. Yuka cringed in the corner as Valentine waltzed in his brother's home. It was darker than he remembered. "Brother...you look older than I remember. Might I have come at a bad time?" Seth sighed shakily, "No, whenever you come it's a bad time. You make Yuka nervous and you generally irritate me.
Sanya took hold of the front cover and flipped carefully through the pages. "The page he's looking for...the one to resurect Demise and free him from his binds... I've studied it for years...it's written in a really old language. I've seen it before...Kadaj used to write his name in it all the time. He's never seen this page before...but as long as most of the spell is normal, Demise will rise. However...simply changing the last line isn't going to stop it... In all my studies I've found there's a second spell that unbinds Demise from his Immortal form. You see...Demise the Immortal and Demise are different. The Immortal is a monster...the source of all the monsters we've seen. Demise...is rather much like a big...man. He's the father of all demons...and letting him get out in either form would be catastrophic." But it had no eyes. Kiel exhaled harshly, "Tch...why do we always have to be the ones that are used against the Professors... We're a reliability and it pisses me off."
Mithos hummed louder, "Why do you think I'm singing it? It's kinda catchy...don't you think?" Raina brushed her fingers along Auran's cheek, "Come then..." She lead him through a small shift in space and time and exited momentarily in a never ending space. The floor was water and all around were broken pillars and monuments. "Rest and when you awaken...we'll begin your journey."
Sanya nodded and went with her silently. She didn't have the energy to argue. "You want the Book...Kadaj has asked you to retrieve something from it...hasn't he? He never could fight his own battles." She sniffed and pushed open the door to her classroom. The Book of the Grey sat quietly on her desk. Kiel felt a wave of exhaustion hit him. He wanted to protect the student they'd taken with them, but he wouldn't leave Tori alone. Moving back to Tori's side, he touched Genesis' arm on the way and the older boy relaxed. "They're not going to come back...and I fear that's even worse. Whatever Kadaj wants that Professor Kaila has to give him...it's not going to be good."
Kiel narrowed his eyes on Nero and he watched from the corner of his eye as Genesis stood and moved in front of Giselle and Allen. Nero happily clapped his hands and set them on the student's shoulders, "Then we'll be on our way. Remember....break this promise and Kadaj won't be happy. Oh and..." he jerked his head towards Lulu's crumpled body, "I'm taking her too. She is...after all...a fellow Dark Hunter and demon." He made a wide movement with his arm and Lulu's body rose into the air and floated over to him. "Adios!" All three of them, Nero, Lulu and the student disappeared into a black fog and streamlined out of the school rapidly. Everyone looked at Kaila. Ren stood beside her and glowered at the student body and the teachers, daring them to accuse her.
Balmore Manor - Dining Room Mirabelle yanked Rin away from Seth and growled at her, "Don't make things worse. He needs to get rid of her blood in his system. I'm going to take him downstairs, you will draw all the curtains in the house. Seth has had enough sunlight." Immediately, Mirabelle's hatred for humans fired up and she gathered Seth in her arms. "Don't fret Master...we'll go down into the darkness and cold...and you'll feel much better." Seth cracked his eyes open and glowered at Mirabelle. "You're going to apologize to Rin...and you're going to leave me be. I must be here...for when Valentine comes. It must be made clear he's not welcome in Luin." Balmore Manor Foyer~ Yuka sighed once everything was clear, "No...this is good enough. Young Master Valentine doesn't venture further into the house than this...unless he choses to follow Seth around." Luin Valentine chuckled, "Vampires cannot coexist with werewolves. Let alone with humans in the mix. Now take me to my brother so I can be on my way."
Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth made a pained face and leaned heavily on Rin. His face burned. Eventually he slipped off Rin's shoulder and collapsed in the floor. Mirabelle shrieked, "Seth! Seth!? Onii-chan!!" Cooke hurried Mimi along. She knew very well Seth would come down with something after letting the little girl feed for so long. Seth closed his eyes, his face felt like it was on fire and his stomach lurched, forcing him to slightly throw up blood he'd eaten last night from Rin. In his hazy minds eye, he saw her...the black haired beauty that caught his eye the first time. He saw straight to the real her through her blue-green eyes. Lirum... He coughed and laughed at the same time, making it into a strange strangled sound with a smile at the end.
Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth shut his eyes, "Shhh...it's fine." As soon as he felt the tug of the bond, Seth gently removed her fingers gripping his clothes and pulled her away. "Can you...feel it? That's me...your Sire. Go...with Cooke...and she'll get the rest of the blood you need for you. It might not...taste as good...but the blood from the blood bank....is what we live off of until the next...party...okay?" Seth took shallow breaths and fought to keep his eyes open. He wanted to sleep for a good long time now. Mimi would become Mimi Balmore just like Cooke...but Cooke had refused his name and he had no heir. He wouldn't let Mimi refuse him... He stood and stumbled against the wall, the ground swaying in front of him. "Just...a bit light headed...that's all..." Cooke smiled at Rin and reached for Mimi's hand. Mirabelle and she frowned at Seth as he stumbled. For a guy that prided himself on being graceful, he was acting pretty clumsy.
Mithos annoyingly hummed some song (Friday by Rebecca Black) in Auran's head.
Luin Valentine yanked Annie's arm hard, nearly pulling it from it's socket. "Ah, but alas...I mearly want to rid your town of one very annoying Pureblood. No matter the price...I'd do anything to rid the world of the name Seth Balmore." he snarled in Annie's ear. Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth closed one eye as Mimi bit him. He'd almost forgotten what that felt like.....not. A poor joke to himself, but one he needed. Every Vampire longed to taste the blood of a Pureblood. To be bonded to one. "Easy...." he crooned. Mirabelle and Cooke curtsied to Rin and Cooke lifted an eye brow, "Ya like my cookin'? I thought I might've over done it but it seems like you were hungry. I sure hope Seth didn't work you too hard...heh...we all pretty much heard last night. With the talking and the breathing and the..." she stopped talking as Mirabelle slapped the back of her head.
Kiel touched the light blue ribbon around his arm and sighed. Just thinking about Tori's future hurt him. He didn't want her to change. Ren touched Kaila's hand breifly and winced. He shifted uncomfortably in his chair, "Kaila...did Kadaj give you a time limit?" As if on cue the diniing hall doors broke inwards and a student stood with Nero the Sable at his side grinning like a mad man. "Give up the book...or the children will all die." the student mumbled. Nero pulled a set of mortal guns from their holsters at his sides and his metal extra arms took them and aimed at students too shocked to duck.
Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth cradled the girl close and tapped his neck, "Yes...yes indeed," he mumbled, glancing at Rin out of the corner of his eye, "Now it's only customary for you to drink the blood of your Sire. I promise I don't taste bad. It's easy...I promise." He stroked the little girl's back, urging her to feed from him. Lack of this old tradition and he'd lose the girl completely after her first century. Balmore Manor Foyer Yuka glanced up at Ceril, her blue eyes filled with tears, "He's going to make Seth angry...he's going to ruin our lives here... I...I have to hide the valuables...and breakables." She jumped up and started gathering up anything breakable or valuable like the old paintings hanging on the walls and storing them in her poor excuse for a room. Luin Valentine grabbed Annie's arm and spun her around as she charged at him, "Do you now? And where might they have chosen to hide from me now? Last time they had built a nice house...but it was so easy to burn down... Perhaps something more of a challenge this time?"
Uriel stood, her eyes red from crying and her white dress stained with tears. "Everyone...as you all might know by now....Lord Amittai...the High Court Seraph...has passed on. He is n-no longer wi-with us...and..." She broke off, squeezing her eyes shut. Kiel didn't take a seat. Instead he brushed past everyone and stood in the center of the room, not facing the teachers but the students. "I'm Zadkiel Uru...a member of the High Court. I know what you're thinking...who is this kid who thinks he can speak on behalf of the teachers? Amittai named Tori the High Court's new Seraph and I her protector. Amittai was a good man, even if but kinda strange...but he always knew what to say. He promised me and Tori that he would always be there to guide us even though he would return to Heaven for good. He's always here...just not present. In our hearts, he continues to spout nonsense and in our memories he continues to live on. Once we ascend and become true angels we'll see him again. He promised and I think we all remember when Amittai makes a promise, he sticks to it until the need for it no longer exists." Gabriel chuckled behind him, nodding along with the boy. "So...we don't have to be sad and depressed all the time...cause...it's not like he's gone for good. I'm sure, by any means necessary...the old man will return in some way and continue to tell reeeeeally long stories." He grinned and a few students chuckled. Kallai smiled, despite tears dripping from her chin and the atmosphere lightened. A cool breeze blowing through and cleaning the humid air.
Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth smiled and turned his attention to Mirabelle and Cooke leading Mimi into the room. His smile changed. Gentler and open, he slid out of his chair and knelt on the ground, holding a hand out to Mimi. "You're awake. I'm glad you survived the change. Johanna would be furious with me if you hadn't. You worried me, Mimi...I was worried you weren't going to make it. I trust they fed you a bit. You must be hungry...and not the kind of hungry you're used to. Come here child...I'll give you what you need." Luin The man grinned, fully, complete with white fangs, "You are simply precious! I never would've thought you'd have met a Pureblood, let alone my brother, and not realized he was important. As much as the pompus jerk likes to flaunt it... You truly are a hopeless creature, cherla." It wasn't completely known why he called Serena 'cherla' or even what it meant. "I am Valentine Balmore. Perhaps you've heard of me? No? My...I'm the one who will be destroying your life from here on." he grinned again, visciously, and dug his fingers into the hood of the car.
