cabin Nick nodded, relief spread through him. As soon as he spoke to Seth he could go home, away from the strange girls that made him nervous. He'd never been nervous around the females in his pack back home...why now? His wolf whined in his head at the thought of going home and he frowned. Why was it so opposed to going home now? Home was where comfort was... There is comfort here...with Annie... his wolf whined at him in his head and he shook the idea away. No...Annie wasn't interested in taking a mate...she only wanted protection for her youngest sister. treehouse Valentine cautiously moved towards her, "I...may I hug you?"
Gabriel squeezed his eyes shut and signaled for Gabranth to stop talking, "Yes...Kiel is my son. Gabranth's younger brother. I've kept it a secret from you, Kiel because I couldn't take care of you...and your mother rejected you when you were born. She didn't want you once she learned I was an angel. You're only half-brothers...unfortunately. I...we...Serah and I...were separated and...she was human. Her name was--" Kiel interrupted, "I don't care what her name was! She didn't want me...!" Kallai swept her arm out, "Of course. Family comes first." Jean clawed at his chest, clammoring on top of him and raining kisses along his face. Ren waved his hand and the student bolted from his sight, tears still falling down her face. Heading outside, Ren walked down the halls. He barely registered that in his preoccupied state of mind, he'd stopped walking and was hovering barely an inch above the floor. Genesis shouldered the door open, using his wing to prop it open long enough for them to pass.
cabin Nick snapped his head up, "Oh, before...definately before. I'm going on the thought that this vampire will be a lot less to handle when the sun is up." He nibbled on his lip as he thought over his plans again. He didn't want it to come to the worst case senerio. treehouse Valentine chuckled, reaching out and tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, "If that's the case...I'm glad at least you'll come with me.." Balmore manor - Seth's room Seth held out his hand for Lucy's and she hesitated, stepping backwards, "Sorry...I...I overheard you saying someone was going to school...I didn't realize...she was still human. Figure she won't be for very long. Vampires...I read that journal. I'm guessing you're Seth since you're the only man here. The past few days aren't written in so I'm at a loss of who she is." she jerked her head at Rin and Seth frowned, "You've been through my things...I thought you were asleep." She gave him a tight lipped response, "Just a ruse...to make you leave. I found the door locked...and figured I should just confront you on all the evil things that are written in this book!" She tossed the black, leather bound book at his feet and Seth's natural brown eyes turned a dark crimson.
It was Mark, wasn't it? Okay... I'd like him to enter the forest and if you wouldn't mind I could do the rest so you can leave with no loose ends.
Gabriel sighed and waved his hand at Gabranth, "Tori...Kiel...this is my first born son, Gabranth. He's an angel...but I sent him to a private human school because he kept trying to cause trouble with the girls here." Kiel stood beside Tori, still scowling at Gabranth, "He said I was his little brother. But that's insane. I've never seen this guy before in my life." Gabranth hooked his thumbs in the belt loops on his jeans, "C'mon now...I thought we'd gotten past this. We're brothers. You just don't remember. A dose of mum's good old tomato soup would knock some memories loose in that noggin' of yours." Kallai tapped the window and glanced down at the sight of Genesis and Giselle carrying a boy towards the school, "Is he not your brother?" She'd wanted a way to not answer her question...in truth...she couldn't think of a way to save Giselle yet. Jean bit her lip for a moment before sitting up slightly and kissing him firmly on the lips. She didn't like no for an answer. Genesis nodded curtly before promptly picking the boy's other arm up and hefting most of his weight over his shoulder.
North Woods Nick frowned after her. Was he really spending too much time as a wolf? Or had she not noticed the scent she put off. Maybe it was just him. Being around a female was overwelming him. Shaking his head, he followed after her. The wolf in his mind pranced around happy that she'd touched him. Was it just him or was his wolf becoming like a pup these days... treehouse Valentine watched Ceril carefully, noting how she moved and her scent around the little treehouse. "I don't have much experience with other people...be they Pureblood Vampire or otherwise. Maybe it's the way I smell...something seems to tick them off at me..." Balmore Manor - Seth's room Seth appreciated her look but Yuka tsked and reajusted her skirt so it was the proper length. "That's better...a proper young lady should never go out looking like that. Especially one that now belongs to the Balmore house." Seth shrugged and pulled open the door, surprised, he stepped back. In front of him, Lucy stood....her black hair drawn up in a ponytail and the same uniform on her. A bandage had been wrapped around her neck.
Gabriel frowned at Tori and his frown increased as the boys and Kaila burst into the infermery. "Aren't I supposed to be resting...and Gabranth...aren't you supposed to be in private school?" Gabranth cast him another crooked smile, "Hey, pops! Man am I happy to see you again. After sending me to that stuffy private school...jeez...all the girls there are so....long skirted...it's annoying. No flash of leg...only ankle... I could've gone insane, y'know." He glanced at Tori and his smile widened. Kiel stepped in front of her and scowled at him, "Back off." "Zadkiel...Gabranth means no harm. Gabe...Tori here is the new High Court Seraph. Be nice and pay your respects. Amittai passed only yesterday." Gabranth ran a hand through his blonde hair and adjusted a sword at his hip, "Sorry about that ma'am. Amittai was a stuffy old man...but he was cool. Taught pops all he knows," Gabriel huffed, "So did not..." "Well welcome to the extended family of being a Seraphim. The High Court sure is lucky to have a beautiful Seraph this time." Kiel growled and Gabe grinned, patting his shoulder lightly before having his hand smacked off, "Take it easy, buddy. It's not like I'm out to start dating a Seraphim. You know what would happen if I tried to get under her skirt...I'd probably be warped into a pretzel for a month...man...that would hurt." Kallai stopped in front of a large window and stared out it, "Perhaps that's true...but Micheal has decided...and his decisons are final. Genesis...once he recovers from the shock of Kyrios' hatred and the attack on him...will be a fine warrior, capable of protecting both those humans. The reason why Kyrios shouldn't be allowed to have two humans in his court...should be simple... They won't last to see the final fight if they stay under his wings. Kyrios would expose them to the full might of the Dark Court and they would be drained of life and light by his Dark angels. I fear the worst for Giselle....she seems closer to Genesis than Allen." Looking up at him, surprised, Jean's smile lit up her face, "Micheal...here to see someone? Please...that stuck up prick only ever leaves his home when the other Archangels beg for him to come. He'd send a message with Usagi...I think...it's just my imagination." She stretched her spine and tilted her head up to kiss his chin. Genesis took her hand and still frowned down at the boy, "We shouldn't leave him here...but no one's going to be out and about for a while...they're all heading to breakfast." His headache slowly beat as he tried to think through the possible motions of dealing with the strange boy.
North Woods Nick stood, still refusing to look at her directly. He knew she'd see the guilt in his eyes. "That's not healthy for your wolf you know...it needs time to roam and run. But...I'm not one to tell you how to live your life..." Sighing, Nicholas pulled off the shirt he was wearing. It was uncomfortable with the sun now rising. "You girls live here without a pack...without an Alpha...it's dangerous. Whenever your next heat cycle starts...I'd be wary of other males coming here. Of course...I can't stop you...I mean...it's your choice...who...uh...shares your bed." Awkwardly, Nick shuffled his feet in the grass. treehouse Valentine stared at her. He was positive if he had a beating heart, it would be pounding pretty fast by now. She said he was pleasant company...someone found him pleasant. But how had that happened? Would Seth be able to see that too? "You...think I'm not so bad?" His fingers twitched and he closed his teal eyes, "That's a first... I didn't expect a Turned Vampire to be so bluntly honest with me...and actually think I'm not so bad..." Balmore manor - Seth's room Seth stood and handed Rin the uniform through the crack in the door. He wanted to fling it open and get a good look at her, but Yuka would think him a rude man. She cleared her throat, "Master....that girl...has awoken. She's in the dining room having breakfast. Is it safe for her to go to school?" Seth considered the girl's age and placed her in the same age group as Rin. "Yes...it'll take a few hours for the results to come out...but I don't see any signs of the change yet. She'll be alright for the day."
Xemnas lifted his hand and Interdiction flared from his palm. "Enough. Xue's words are correct. Even if those with hearts are unpredictable...I have faith that they will remain loyal to our cause." he cast a pointed glance down at Xixili and over to Eve who had started yelling at Xigbar, leaving him dumbfounded. "Yes...I have faith in them." Xue glanced up at her Superior and slid her gaze back to Raoxthu. The edgings of a smile tweaking the corners of her lips up, "And if they fail to remain loyal...they'll be eliminated just like any other traitor to the Organization." Axel waved his hand towards Vexen, "I don't think it's smart to let him 'examine' the boy. He'd probably create another replica and complicate it further." Of course he wasn't referring to Xion, but the mention of a replica brought her to everyone's minds.
North woods Nick turned half to her and glanced at her from under his lashes, "I'm sorry...I'm not sure why I did that. I guess..my wolf thought it was time to play..." Shaking his head, he growled at his wolf in his head, Stupid beast...making us look like a couple of fools. treehouse Valentine stood and paced the small room, "I mean...I'll do something and you'll regret having spoken to me...letting me bite you...everything. I always do... I...I don't have any friends back home...or anywhere. They say I'm pushy...a flake...and that I jump from mood to mood. I don't see what they're talking about. That's just...how I think...Vampires are supposed to be good at controlling their emotions...but not me. They control me. What...what can I do? I'm not...confident like my brother...strong like my Father...or smart like my Mother..."
Kiel and Gabranth followed Kaila out of her room. Gabranth held a lopsided grin on his face and Kiel scowled over his shoulder at the obviously older boy. Why did he claim they were brothers? Was he really? Could Gabriel be his father...a father that had abandoned him when he was a child? Kallai laughed a light sound and it echoed in the corridor as they walked down. "I suppose to others it seems like that. Genesis has become an overburdened child. Protecting two humans is difficult. You can't be in two places at the same time, now can you. Even if Giselle were to like him...his job would become harder...as he'd be more inclined to give her more protection and leave Allen alone. It would give an edge to the enemy." She frowned slightly, "It's a little odd...two humans...Penny and Tristan have seemed to chosen Summer Court members...be it a Summer girl...or a Summer angel. Giselle and Allen have yet to choose. We are at an advantage...but if those two were to choose the Dark Court, Kyrios and I...would have an even harder relationship. Tori has Kiel in her Court...even if he shouldn't matter...even a Nephilim counts as special. Though...I'm surprised she hasn't expressed any worry over the upcoming full moon and Cheshvan...I'd be worried he would be possessed by a fallen angel and turn on her..." Kallai had no idea how true her words might prove to be in the future. Gabriel chuckled, "Yes...ouch. But as long as no loud-mouthed boys come bursting in here and disturbing me..I'll be better by dinner time." He sounded confident in his healing abilities as he crossed his ankles and folded his arms behind his head. Jean sat beside him scratching at her hair, "I could've sworn it was the Archangel Micheal...but why would he come to Earth? He practically loathes the place... He likes it up in Heaven...or so I've heard...I've only seen him a few times." Genesis followed her, pushing himself in front of her and taking the present in his hands, turning it over and over, "Giselle...you should be more careful. What if he was someone sent by Kadaj. He could've killed you in the time I was running over here."
Kiel glanced at the door, where a boy stood, leaning against the doorframe. He looked exactly like Gabriel...but younger and with blonde hair. "Who're you?" The boy's eyebrows rose up and a slow grin spread across his face, "Sorry for disturbing...I didn't realize this was detention. I smelt my little brother and decided to pay him an overdue visit. I'm Gabranth Learbag but everyone just calls me Gabe." Kiel jumped up, "Brother? What the hell are you talking about? You can't just waltz in here like you own the place and start calling people your brother!" Gabe grinned, "Yeah? And why's that? You think you're too good to be my brother? Pops not good enough for ya? Listen well, buddy, cause it's gonna hit you hard...family sticks together and whether you like it or not...I'm enrolling here. Mum's orders." Kiel frowned, dismay crossing his face, "Mum? What? I don't have a mother. She abandoned me! I don't know who you are...but you're no brother of mine...and I'm not your buddy!" Gabranth shook his head slowly, "Poor, confused, little Zadkiel..." Genesis shrugged and followed her. His headache subsided to the back burners and he let the easy motion of following someone take over. Kallai guided Schuyler towards the door, her robes rustling and moving as she did. "We'll be observing something I have found to be very interesting lately. Since those humans arrived...we've received messages from Micheal. He tells us Genesis is now the angelic protector of Giselle and Allen. He's such a...oh what's the word..." Gabriel chuckled in his casual manner, "It certainly wasn't...but it didn't feel much like it...Ren's been keeping spells on me...it felt more like someone hit me in the back of my head with a baseball bat..." Frowning, Jean turned away from the window, "I could've sworn I saw someone standing there...it must've been my imagination..." Worry lines creased her forehead and she glanced back, still the grounds were empty, Archangel Micheal? she thought to herself, questioning her sanity.
Me too, I've read them. I got them for Christmas a few years back and I couldn't stop reading once I started. I loved Durzo...he was such a good wetboy. (I almost called him an assassin....he'd have killed me for that...) I cry every time I read them though...Kylar is amazing.
North Woods Nick rolled off her and buried his face in his palm. "Not again..." He scowled at his wolf's happy tail wagging, Why can't you control yourself?! She's not ours! And never will be. We're here for the Vampire, remember? It seemed to pout and sulk and Nick refused to look at Annie and suffer her confusion and anger. treehouse Valentine's blue eyes had lightened to an almost teal color and they now burned with unshed tears, "I'll ruin any chance at any sort of contact I ever get. I'll ruin it with you...I know I will." Balmore Manor - Seth's room Yuka set down the clothes she'd picked out and Seth gave her a grateful smile, "Thank you, Yuka... What would I do if Rin stayed here all the time...I'd go insane...I'd bite her..." Yuka could clearly see the distraught expression tearing at her master, "You will learn to control it. Just like you did before with Miss Lirum."
Kiel's eyes flew open, "I know she wouldn't give up.... She's not that kind of girl. I trust Tori...and I'll admit I love her...but no way would she just give up because I got hurt." "Damn straight! No girl gives up that easily...." Kiel frowned, "Who...?" he hadn't realized he'd spoken aloud. Genesis folded his wing around her in his version of a hug and stood beside her dressed in black with his red coat draped over one shoulder, "Something on your mind?" Kallai waited patiently, flicking her eyes through Schuyler's belongings. Gabriel winked at her before closing his eyes and Kyrios stood, obviously pissed and strode from the room. Gabriel wasn't sure if the stress of his job was getting to him or his high and mighty attitude just came naturally now that Yves wasn't there to suppress it. Jean had closed her eyes when a rattling at the window made her scowl at the odd noise, "Now what could that be?" Prying herself out of Tristan's embrace, she pressed a kiss to his cheek and wandered over to the window. "Huh?"
North Woods Nick snarled as he raced after Annie. His wolf thrilled at the chase and adrenaline started pumping through his blood. Eyes dialated, he passed Annie and skidded to a halt just in front of her tackling her to the ground. Rolling over her, he pinned her to the dirt and panted on top of her. After a few seconds passed, his eyes widened at what he'd done. Again...he couldn't seem to control his wolf here. First with grabbing Serena in his sleep...and now...tackling Annie? What was wrong with him? treehouse Valentine swallowed and his breathing hitched up a notch, "O-okay...if...if you say so. I worry is all..." He bit his lip, fangs piercing his skin, and he winced, feeling a trickle of blood run down his chin. Balmore Manor -Seth's room Seth watched her head to the bathroom and sighed, "No one will judge you...they've no reason to. Yuka will take you to school today in the car...I have a lot of paperwork to attend to."
Kiel growled agains this better judgement, "I'd rather die than see Tori hurt. I'd have done anything possible if she were hurt. Weapon or no...I'd have found some way. Hell...I'd have bitten that thing's tongue in half to free her." The thought was revolting but the image of Genesis twitching just a few feet from the ground ravaged through his head and he bit back a cry of pain as agony speared through his head. Genesis lifted himself up and rubbed his face, "Yeah...okay. A walk might do me some good..." He felt like he'd swallowed nails and drank himself half to death. The pounding in his head increased as he stood up to search for some new clothes. Kallai's face clouded with greif for a moment, "Yes...he was a dear brother to me... I never expected this to happen...I knew he was getting old, but...to have him die like that..." she sniffed and blinked rapidly, "I'll see him when I go back to Heaven. He'll probably become some doddering old man...reading all those books up there....geesh...what a lazy bones he'll become." Kyrios opened his mouth and narrowed his eyes as he was about to reprimand her when Gabriel's voice cracked the silence stretching between them, "That's quite enough, Lord Sitnah. I should think you'd be wiser not to bad mouth Yves or Tori in front of me...but apparently you've forgotten I'm here. I'm not going to lay here and let you do this to her. I'm still a member of the High Court and Archangel or not, my word goes along better with Micheal's than yours does. I don't think Father would listen to your sadistic ramblings anymore if Micheal were to speak up." Kyrios snarled at him. Jean cuddled into him, murmuring her appreciation, "It's not so warm outside...so I think I'll stay here."
North Woods Nick quit laughing and focused on running after Annie. It was starting to feel more and more like a chase to him...and regretably, his wolf loved it. It wanted him to change and chase after the female, tackle her and bite her neck. It would be impossible to explain to Annie and Serena if he did that now of all times. Catching up to her, he finally started to feel his muscles burn with strain. It'd been a long time since he'd willingly ran in his human form. He had to suppress the urge to reach out and tackle Annie. treehouse Valentine curled his hands around Ceril for a moment, "I shouldn't have asked for your blood... I...I barely know you and I do something like this..." Internally, he hated himself. Balmore Manor - Seth's Room Seth chuckled and pulled her out of bed, "I wish I could say it was, my dear... I wish it was. But I simply remember my Father drilling me with studies and I want you to have some knowledge of the world. Instead of shutting you up in here with me..it just seems cruel of me."
Kiel flinched, he didn't like being praised for doing something good when it was bad... "You'd think I'd be more inclinded to stay away...but after this, I'm off to see Tori. Ms. Camponella...I'm sorry about yesterday...but Tori needed me. What was I supposed to do if it was her hanging there instead of Genesis? Lord Amittai told me to protect her and that's what I'm doing." Genesis turned his head so he could breath from under the pillow, "Yeah..." he slowly responded to Giselle. He truly didn't care that he wasn't wearing a shirt at the moment and that he looked like a mess. Brown hair tangled on his head, blue eyes bleary, one black wing hanging limp over the bed, though if he tried, it responded when he moved. His sheets were a tangled mess around his legs. Kallai grinned, her blue eyes sparkling, "It's alright. I like watching people sleep...." she frowned and tapped her lower lip with a finger, "I hope that doesn't sound as weird as it does in my head... Either way, I wanted to make sure you were alright after last night. I heard it was a bit of a commotion down here. I'm terribly sorry I wasn't here to help." Kryios' eyes were bland and void of emotion as he watched her. "You'd think...but there still remains that you're just a child and Yves was a grown man...his capabilities to handle the situation goes without question better than how you handle things. Such as that creature last night. You'd have done best to kill it yourself...or at least alert the High Court soldiers about it. Instead...my little Sanya is outside searching for it to protect her students and you...so she says." Jean curled into a ball, her fingers twitching on Tristan's bare chest. After a moment, she opened her eyes slowly and blushed, "Goodmorning..."
Cabin Nick winked at her and took off after her, jogging beside her. "Is that the best you can do? My youngest pack mate can run faster than that." The thought of the newly five year old Amber back home had his wolf's tail thumping, wanting to run free again. Shrugging away the thought, he pushed down his wolf. Positive that if he changed now, he'd probably jump Annie. For an experienced fighter, his wolf was awfully fond of the girls he'd just met. treehouse Valentine sighed, obviously relaxing, "I'm glad... When...when I heard you...uh, moan...I just... I lost a bit of my control..I didn't mean to take so much from you. I guess...I'm not as strong as my brother when it comes to feeding off of others." Valentine had witnessed several times as a child, his brother feeding off of the young girls at his parties. Father had told him they wanted him to bite them because it meant he liked them and they just wanted his attention. Mother had scolded him, saying he shouldn't feed off of random girls just because they're pretty and there. Balmore manor - Seth's room Seth sat up and smiled, "I'm determined to set you off with a good education." Snapping his fingers, Yuka brought in a blue schoolgirls uniform.
