Balmore manor Lucy dropped Rin's arm, glaring at her, "Why?" "Because she loves me, or so she keeps saying." Seth slowly descended the stairs, keeping his scarlet eyes fixed on Rin as he stopped at the bottom and knelt at Rin's feet. Taking her hand, Seth brushed his lips across the back of her hand, "Not that I object to her affection. It's rather nice." He flicked his eyes towards Lucy, watching her watch him. She was very familiar to him, but the only idea possible was impossible. Lirum wouldn't...would she? Would she truly abandon a child to fend for itself just because she was afraid?
Balmore Manor Lucy trembled, but let the girl go. "You think I'm a vampire...don't you? You think I'm one of those things! I'm a person! I was born a person! Not with fangs and the urge to drink blood. I'm trying to help you escape, you stupid kid. Now, while they're busy!" She pulled Rin towards the doors.
Kiel grumbled something about racism, but the comment was lost in the squeaking of the wheelchair. The angels stopped at a large white door and motioned for her to open it herself. "We cannot go any further with you." Genesis stopped once they'd rounded the corner and pulled Giselle into his arms, hugging her. "Forgive me for this. But just once, I'd like someone not to cry in my presence."
Church Nick stood outside the church doors, suppressing the growl that threatened to tear through his throat. He needed to be calm in order to deal with a Pureblood. Much like the blue-bloods of his own kind. They never took kindly to rudeness. treehouse Valentine jumped up, "Sitting around here, mopping about it isn't going to do any good. Seth may have changed soomething for the better...but how much is better? The entire town is run by Vampires. The humans that hold a position of power know about Seth and follow his orders exactly. This town lives in a limbo state. It needs to move forwards! Like the rest of the world. And we're going to help Seth realize that. He's kept everything the same since Lirum left."
North woods - Road to Church Nick paused, sniffing and rolled his shoulders, "Alright...thanks for the directions... You should head back home now. Protect your sisters until I leave town." Again, his wolf whined at him. It didn't want to leave Annie and yet...if he didn't she'd probably die. treehouse Valentine sat beside her, staring blankly at the books on the floor. "That's alright. Somehow...I'm glad you came... Though you didn't stop me from biting that girl...I realize now how foolish it had been of me. I acted like a child and Father would reprimand me if he were here... I'd probably feel better if Seth were to do it too... If my own blood ran through my veins I'm sure needles would be pricking me. Being undead is supposed to have its advantages...all I've noticed is the downside. I have no heart that beats within my chest...my conscience leads my life and tears me apart bit by bit." Balmore Manor Lucy followed Rin out of Seth's room and grabbed her arm, shoving her against the wall, "Why do you willingly live with a Vampire!? What's wrong with you! I don't see any shackles on you. Has he done some sort of mind trick? We can escape, together!"
Kiel nodded, standing up and brushing his fingers along Tori's shoulder before grasping the handles of her wheelchair and turning her around. "So you're the famous missing brother. I don't suppose you have an excuse as to why you were missing..." The continued walking down the winding stairs. "Archangel Micheal has summoned you. Since you're not permitted into Heaven at this time...he came here. Only outside the school walls and down here...can he fully manifest into a physical form." Genesis snatched the photo out of her hands and glanced at it. Frowning, Genesis cast a final glance up at Giselle before tucking the photo into a large pocket in his jacket. "We should head back to my room." Jean pried the little square wrapper out of his fingers, "What's this?" She examined it, reading the small lettering before blushing and shoving it back into his hands, "Oh...you don't need that, Tristan." A soft smile sat on her lips and her large blue eyes had grown wide.
North Woods "Yeah...that guy." He didn't feel like elaborating. Saying too much would involve her...and saying too little would make her curious. "Annie..." he grabbed her arm and jerked her to face him, "You see him...you run. You run like never before...like your sisters are about to be killed if you don't get back to the house and lock the doors and hide." His blue eyes were hard as he spoke. treehouse Valentine bent over her, his face impassive. "You're going to help me...to save me. I don't want anything bad to happen to you."
Kiel nodded and sighed. "Then I am in luck...your support is all I need to move forward. I've always wanted you to kiss me...the manner didn't matter. It's a pleasant feeling." "This way, Miss." The two angels let Kaila to a dead end hallway with a large window at the side. One stopped before the window and the other ran his finger down a crease in the wall. Pulling back his arm...he rammed his palm into the wall and a door creaked open, spreading a cloud of dust on him. "Come..." They descended down a long flight of stairs, grabbing a lantern from the side and lighting the little wick inside. It cast an eerie glow on the steps as they walked. All around was pitch darkness and without a railing to hold onto, it was up to their balance to keep them from falling off. Jean giggled, biting the tip of his nose, "And you're yummy. Like sugary rainbows..." she gazed at him dreamily, slipping her fingers under the hem of his boxers. Genesis glanced down at the present in his hand. Was it really just a present? The boy seemed to be trusted and Ren knew him...so... He handed the present out to Giselle without a word.
Kiel stopped and knelt in front of her, placing his hands on her knees, "I know you miss your folks...and I shouldn't be complaining... But who knows what my mother was like...and now...whoever Gabriel's wife is...I've no idea if she's anything like him or what I imagine a good mother to be like." He pleaded with her with his eyes, "It doesn't matter...I'll always put protecting you first." Jean rained kisses along his neck and pulled her shirt over her head before he could. Kallai nodded, taking her hand off Schuyler's head and brushed by Kingsley, "Of course... Unlike you...your sister has been graced with the light of the Summer Court. It would serve you well to not try to take that light from her." She walked away, leaving Ren frowning after the Seraph. In front of Kaila, two lean male angels blocked her path. "Miss...will you please come with us." it wasn't a question and yet still phrased like one.
North Woods Nick shrugged, walking beside her. "Not necessarily... I smelt...the man with the scar on his face..." He'd forgotten he had only told Vickie about him...but he didn't know his name...since the man thought he was just some filthy animal. treehouse Valentine's brow furrowed and he backed away from her, "N-no...why would I be worried about you? You've told me before that you can handle yourself. Unless...you think there's a reason I should be concerned."
cabin Nick nodded, still scanning the area before he frowned in discontentment. "Let's get the show on the road...better sooner than later... C'mon, Annie...lead the way." treehouse Valentine frowned. He didn't think Lycan Hunters could kill vampires...half or not. Shaking the blood lust from his head, he tried to focus on their words. UV bullets...sunlight? They could kill Ceril... Glancing at her, he suppressed a growl at the thought. Balmore manor - Seth's room Seth took the book and tucked it into the nightstand drawer beside his bed and locked it. "Yes...let's leave. Lucy...you'll be coming too."
Xemnas lazily closed his eyes and rested his chin on his palm. "You are all dismissed. Vexen will show you the ropes...since he's so eager to be around you, Raoxthu." Xue's expression turned cold and detatched again as she warped out of the Round Room and back to her sanctuary on top of the Castle that Never Was. She stared at the starless sky in silence. Axel huffed and warped away. He was going to visit Xion and see if she was any better. Xigbar chuckled to himself, deciding to follow Vexen around for the time being until he found something more interesting to eavesdrop on.
The nurse nodded and Kiel rolled her out of the infermery. Anger...shock....and resentment passed over his face. "How dare he....some stupid kid comes to our school and suddenly I'm his son?! Just like that and he expects me to freaking accept it?! Just like that! How much stupider can Professor Learbag get!?" Jean felt warmth flush through her body, "You mean..." An excited smile spread across her face and she kissed him again. Genesis let go of Kingsley, catiously holding his shoulder to keep him steady. "Take it easy now." Ren held out a hand for the sword Giselle was holding, "I'll take that from you." Ticking off on his hand the three days, Ren mentally ran through a list in his head, "Yes....you'll be taking both history classes... As for your memory...I believe the Book of the Grey has a recipe for a Forget-me-not potion..."

Kiel blinked a few times before he focused on Tori's face and her words. Nodding slowly, he reached over and pulled a wheelchair from the side of the room and held his hands out to help her into it. "We should go...before I lose my temper." Gabranth and Gabriel watched him move stiffly and frowned at each other, "Take the time you need to absorb it, Zadkiel. Uru may be your last name but you are of my descent." Kiel flinched. Jean let up, breathing heavily. "I...I shouldn't overstep my boundaries." Ren peered over the student's heads and gave a half smile to the boy. "Kingsley...good to see you. You know you failed my class last year... You'll have to retake it."
cabin Nick shouldered his way out of Serena's room and out the front door. Walking past Annie, Nick sniffed at the air, testing it. treehouse Valentine listened as the footsteps faded and let go of Ceril, "Lycan Hunters...they must be looking for werewolves...perhaps those two girls I saw yesterday? Or...is someone else here? Someone more threatening." The smell of Dhamphir blood filled his head and he licked his lips.
Cabin Nick pulled over his head a cotton t-shirt and another pair of long shorts. Depression hit him as he splashed cold water on his face to rid himself of the smell of sweat. treehouse Valentine closed his eyes and suddenly pulled her down to the ground, covering her mouth with his hand. "Shh...listen. You hear that?" The pounding of feet suddenly got louder and stopped just below the treehouse. A man's voice could be heard. "You smell that? A Vampire is close...we'll take out two birds with one stone. Switch to UV bullets...we'll get that blood sucker." Valentine tensed but the pounding of feet resumed and headed away from the treehouse. He frowned. The steady beat of soldiers headed towards Mark. He'd been wandering for far too long. Fifteen heavily muscled men, armed to the teeth stopped in front of him and cocked a gun at his chest. "Say goodmorning Vampire!" He opened his mouth to tell them he wasn't full blooded and not a threat when bullets beat into his body sending hot flares of pain through him. Darkness closed around his vision as he dropped to the ground. His life's blood spilling out of him, staining the dirt red.
Mark's ship Sei, Akii and Mark landed inside Mark's ship with a thud. Akii squealed and started to cry, calling out for Riku. "Papa....!" Gummi Ship Riku shoved Alexander backwards, growling at him, "Do that again and I'll murder you! Do you want to get us killed?" He glanced back as Kirra started asking where Akii was, "Akii?! Where did she go!? Sora, take control for a minute!" Riku let go of the controls and inside Sora's head a girl's voice spoke up from somewhere deep in the darkness, "Sora...let me handle this. I can do it." Beast's Castle Belle poked her head out from behind the closet, her deep brown eyes filled with fear. Corrine and Marluxia glowered at eachother. Corrine turned halfway to see Genji and Tooi fleeing the foyer and chasing after Kairi, "You will not harm her!" Marluxia's scythe blocked his way as Corrine tried to chase after them.
alright. It was fun while it lasted. Hopefully we'll be able to continue in Chasing Shadows...I should probably just post again...
Kiel swallowed hard, but the words Tori spoke were drowned out by the rushing of his blood in his ears. His father was right before him and yet...he couldn't say anything...no questions came to mind...no feeling of belonging or joy or even anger. Just...blank, numbness. Jean shushed him and kissed him feverishly. "Hmmph, stay still!" Genesis barked at Kingsley and looked up to see Schuyler and then Ren behind her. Ren followed Schuyler, watching from behind her as she met the boys and Giselle. "Is something the matter? Another brought to the school in shreads?" Kallai set a gentle hand on Schuyler's head. She'd used the sunlight to travel faster and appeared behind her young Summer Angel, "This is Schuyler's brother."
