Ren clutched at his chest as she closed the door on him. His heart hurt just like when Yuukki died...no....it was worse. Kaila was alive and she didn't want him. He'd been played for a fool. Staring numbly at her classroom door, he backed up a few steps, "Kaila...but I...remember your last name now... Don't...don't leave me...." he whispered into the empty hall. Ren wouldn't find someone new, he didn't want someone new. There weren't any other girls like Kaila in the world or in Heaven. Keeping his hand over his heart, he guided himself down the hallway towards Uriel's room. Not her classroom...but her personal rooms. Uriel let him stay there when he was younger and he wished for a comfortable place to stay that wouldn't remind him of the women who'd broken his heart. His sorrow, anger and hopelessness fled him as something vibrated with in his body and Seraph Kyrios sucked the negative emotions out of him and fed those who couldn't feed themselves. Numbness replaced his sorrow, a freezing cold filled his body and he could no longer feel his limbs. Kiel weakly smiled at Tori, "I'm not worried...I'm terrified. Professor Uriel doesn't look the same to me anymore. For a girl...she hits hard." Like the warrior angel that she was, she held a variety of weapons under that thin cloak of hers and strapped to her thighs. He didn't want to admire his teacher for her legs when knives were being thrown at him.
The people passing by looked at him with pity or with exasperation. Either he was lost or playing dumb and they didn't want any of it. In the distance black clouds roiled over towards the city. A boy, barely sixteen stumbled past Auran. His blue hair and blue eyes familiar only with the name Ryuu. Behind him, a double of Alice shoved him towards the coming storm clouds. "You have to do this! If you don't, everyone will suffer! Ryuu!" He half turned and gave her a frightened expression, trying to shove her back, "No, I won't! I don't want to do this! Alice, please! You're a Keyblade Master, why not you?" Her golden eyes narrowed into slits, "Get moving, Ryuu!"
Ren's expression dropped from his face, leaving it blank. "Kaila...tell me this is some sort of joke you devised to get back at me for all those years of not paying you attention. I...I wasn't over Yuukki then... I can move on now...I want to move on. Tell me this is a joke. Don't..." he couldn't finish his sentence as his throat closed with pain and his heart threatened to shatter. Kiel stared blankly at the floor, Uriel's wrath still fresh in his mind and her searing whip still stinging his skin. For a short woman she hit like a pro boxer. "Yeah..." he responded slowly to Schuyler and Penny trailed after Tristan, still pestering him to give him a hint.
cabin Nick frowned at the little girl and relaxed onto his side beside her, "Maybe you could stand to go outside once in a while and dirty that pretty little face of yours. They say you never have a childhood until you've made a mud pie and chucked it at someone." North woods A hand broke the surface of the water and clawed at the dirt of the bank of the stream. Sputtering, a man with red hair hauled himself up and out of the cold water. treehouse Valentine took a short break from her neck, spanning his hand across her stomach, "I wanted...to kiss you...but I guess that idea's out the door, huh?"
Raina smiled at him and faded away, "Who else?" Orange energy filled the room, clogging Auran's air passageway before dropping him in a city surrounded by people.
Anthony's office Yeul stood and stretched, lifting her arms above her head and turned to the door, "So a woman coming to see if everyone is alright...is suspicious? My how the world has changed. But alas...you must come, lest I be..." she turned and covered her mouth in mock horror, "Suspected." Laughing daintily, she clipped down the hallway, her heels providing the clipping and the sway of her hips making it obvious she didn't belong here but had enough confidence to be seen.
Anthony's office Yeul leaned back, "See....Seth is your Sire...he owns you in body and soul. Eternally dammed or not...you belong to him, just as he belongs to me. You will take me to him because you will always be weaker than my bloodline...and you will do what your Pureblood Master has to say." Beautiful blue eyes darkened until they hit a deep scarlet, passing violet all together. "Someone in your beloved bank has cut themselves...I should make sure they're alright."
Xemnas closed his eyes, tired from the meeting. He could feel Saix's eyes on him even as the man left. Saix issued orders, it was his job as Xemnas' second in command. He enjoyed his job and did it with a cold effeciency. Ignoring Xigbar's complaints, he sent him to Halloween Town on a Heartless mission, Xaldin to Beast's Castle for recon, Lexaeus off to Castle Oblivion or C.O. as they'd come to call it to carry out Xemnas' wish of finding the room they could not open. Zexion with Lexaeus, Luxord to Wonderland again to take care of a certain Heartless problem posing a threat, Marluxia to Castle of Dreams and Larxene to head off Monstro. Roxas and Xion weren't up for missions yet, as he decided by himself. Xion was still broken and he was sure Roxas wouldn't focus enough.
Anthony's office Yeul stood and sauntered over to the side of the desk, tilting his chin up with a slender finger, "Since you're so adorable, I'll give you that one for free. I came to you because...you have Seth's scent all over you. Tell me...have you ever been bitten by my son?" cabin Nick let Vickie's joy sweep over him, washing away his fears about his pack members, "Yeah. I'm positive they'll like you. And if we're lucky, maybe...just maybe...we'll all get a happy ending." He glanced towards the door, watching Annie leave yet again and frowned, "Does your sister leave often?" treehouse Valentine smiled and shifted her head back to it's place and touched his nose to hers once. "That wasn't what I wanted...but it works too..." Refusing to let her tilt to adjust to him, he moved to the side, cradling her against him as he sunk his teeth into her neck.
Ren took in her red eyes and immediately snapped into a protective stance. "What's wrong? Has someone hurt you?" Penny frowned like a hurt puppy, "Schuyler...." he whined. Kiel flinched at Schuyler's words. She just had to bring up Uriel's beating again. He spun to see Tori and a smile spread across his face, all hurt forgotten. "Tori! Tristan got word that he's going to be in our Court...um..your Court." The shadow of Uriel's beatings still hung in his mind.
Ren watched Kaila bolt back to her classroom and frowned, I wonder what's happening this time... We never have normal school days... Following after, he paused at the door, uncertain if he should open, knock or just ask. Kiel sighed, "Rabbit...his name is Usagi. He is our Holy Father's personal messenger. I can go tell Tori for you. If you'll cover for me in class." Penny gave her an exasperated look and smirked, shuffling over to Tristan and hiding behind him playfully, "I asked cause I was curious. Don't be so harsh girl. Now spit it out man...I wanna know how where ya got. Y'know...second base? Third? Dude...do not tell me you went all the way." Though he was criticizing, he had a big smile on his face.
Anthony's office Yeul glowed with pride in her son and remained silent. Cabin Nick chuckled and winked at her, "I'm sure a few of the kids coming with my pack members will bring something along. You might even like Sammy..she likes to draw and I think she's pretty darn good." Nick smiled fondly at the memory of Sammy drawing him and bouncing around him like a pup. treehouse Valentine nodded, "I'll do that...r-right after..." he leaned over Ceril and set a hand on her neck.
Anthony's office A thoughtful look crossed Yeul's face, "Yes...what harm..." Cabin Nick shook water from his head as he stepped out of the shower and searched for a towel. Finding one, he dried, though resisting the urge to shake dry like a dog, and pulled his shorts back on. His shirt smelt too much like the Pureblood and he didn't want another shower at the end of the day when the scent sunk back into his skin. Loping out of the bathroom he plonked himself next to Vickie, examining her lego building. "Pretty slick, kiddo." treehouse Valentine chuckled warmly, "I suppose I should take that well, though I still liked my old clothes. They might not have been in fashion but they were practical." His muscles relaxed eventually as he held her longer, "It might be nice...but I still feel gross." Though Purebloods never emitted a scent that wasn't pleasant, Valentine felt the grit of dirt, sweat and blood on his skin.
Sanya collapsed on the floor, tears springing up from her eyes and rolling down her cheeks, "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...I didn't..mean to..." She bowed her head, letting pale blonde hair fall over her face, "Alright...no more secrets...but...what do I do?" Angeal frowned down at his little friend and after Kaila. He didn't know enough to get involved and decided he wouldn't. It was obviously a woman problem...despite the sacrifice and aiding the one they called a monster. Kiel lifted one hand lazily. "Angel Combat Training class. Time to kick some dummy butt. No offense to you, Genesis." He watched Genesis turn and snarl at him. Laughing off his piercing look, Kiel resumed the role of bodyguard of Tori, "You have a message for Tori?" Penny bounced on the balls of his feet, "Hey! How'd your endevours go? Y'know, with that girl...what was her name? Jone?"
Anthony's office Yeul laughed, covering her mouth with her hand, "Oh dear me...you certainly don't stop do you? Let me ask you a question for a change of pace. Why do you work for my son?"
Angeal smirked, "Of course. Though it was back in the day and I'm sure the parts are out dated." Sanya flicked from her glaring and a frightened expression filled her eyes, "Oh...um...I...n-not much... I swear I didn't say anything!" Angeal chuckled and she turned and started beating her fists against his chest, "You ruin everything!" The book of the Grey flopped back open on Kingsley's lap, "I'd appreciate it if you didn't do that again. I told them, Ms. Camponella. Your secrets are no more. Though I sensed the angelic telepathy between Tori and her predesesor."
Anthony's office Yeul opened her bright blue eyes and rested them on Anthony, "What are you..my therapist? My feelings towards my husband have not changed. Despite a bit of anger...but I'm sure he's angry I left Romania." cabin Nick sniffed at himself and frowned, "I smell like vampire...gross... Tell her I'll be right there!" Hopping lightly into the bathroom, he flipped on the shower and drifted into his thoughts for a minute. treehouse Valentine took the pants offered and pulled off his own, struggling into the new ones. "Th-thanks..." He took in her suddenly submissive behavior and pulled her against him. "You don't have to be afraid or anything. It's not like I'm going to start cracking down on the law. I...I think...you're different, Ceril. You're...nice...and pretty." Gnawing on his lip, Valentine set his chin on the top of her head.
Anthony's office Yeul rubbed her temple, "Use wish more in those sentences.... I'm looking for them because I just found out they're still alive. My husband has been lying to me while I wasn't feeling well. He told me they were dead....but lo and behold...when I happened to listen to the zillion messages on the answering machine...I found Valentine whining to me about Seth repeatedly and the dates were current." cabin Nick snorted and followed Serena around, "I didn't do anything. We were having a conversation and she goes all cold shoulder on me. And what do you mean by "the two of us"?" treehouse Valentine gaped at her, forgetting about his shoes and pants. If he had any blood of his own and hadn't been starving himself for the past few months, he'd have blushed at her remark. "You....you...w-what?" Tugging on his ear he mumbled, "There must still be water in my ear from my childhood endevours to eat a dolphin..."
Sanya jerked her head up from Tori's accomplished walking and met Angeal's eyes with a blank stare, "Angeal...so you came in person." Angeal held out the package for her at arms length as if it were a bomb instead of a flower. Snatching it away, Sanya checked it, sniffed it and held it to the light. "Fine...you can leave." Frowning, Angeal took a step forwards, noting the dangerous gleam in her eyes and grabbed her mechanical arm, "You've been trying to fix it again. I told you to call me when it's busted. And not a text. A real call." Sanya huffed and pouted which made Angeal feel evil since she did still look like a ten year old kid. "Why would I call the traitor that abandoned me when I needed him most?" Angeal ignored her and pulled a screwdriver from his pocket.
Anthony's office Yeul sat in the chair, crossing her legs and folding her hands together on her lap. "Questions like what? Three wishes...is one of those wishes to answer your questions?" forest Nick made a noncommital sound and continued his mental self beating for thinking Annie even resembled anything of his. She'd probably bite his throat if she knew he considered her his. treehouse Valentine slid out of his coat and popped off a few buttons before it was open enough for him to just groan and slid it over his head instead of struggle with the tiny holes and larger buttons. "Sure no one's forcing me...but i think we all knew where this was going..." Starting on his pants, Valentine tried vainly to step out of his boots only to fall to the floor cursing like a sailor.
