Road to Luin Nick laughed, "For once I agree with the both of you. I haven't met a little girl as cute as Vickie before. Why...I'm almost tempted to kidnap you." Shooting a quick glance at Annie, he winked at Vickie, "And where there is cuteness, there's always beauty to show us what the cuteness will look like when she's older. The mear thought has be tripping over my words." treehouse Valentine twitched again, "No...not like him. I want someone...who sees me....and not the chance for powerful offspring. Dead offspring..." He swallowed and buried his face in Ceril's neck, hiding from the world. "Forgive me, Ceril... Forgive me, mamma... Forgive me, brother...."
Enan rushed to her side, brushed cooling fingers across her forehead, "Leave, Kyrios! You're not helping!" Kryios shrugged and left them. He was still humming happily as he wandered back to Uriel's room. He needed to get Ren back to his room to recover. Uriel led the students outside. She relaxed as the sunlight hit her and Gabriel landed with Jean. Penny felt a shiver of jealousy climb up his spine and lodge itself in his chest. Before he could act though, the girl with brown hair and wide brown eyes glanced their way and she seemed to freeze in her place. Her eyes filled with tears. The man behind her, Gabriel, touched her shoulder and she flinched, causing the tears to spill down her cheeks. Turning on her sandaled feet, she ran from the group and into the woods. "Ah! Jeanie! Where are you going!?" Gabriel didn't understand the girl. One minute she was laughing and the next crying and running away. He looked back to Uriel's class and lifted an eyebrow at Tristan and Schuyler. Odd...
Road to Luin Nick licked his lips and cleared his throat, "Ah...n-no... I was just thinking that in the sunlight you kind of remind me of some sort of Greek Goddess. I suppose I should stop daydreaming now, huh?" He fully expected her to reprimand him for staring. treehouse Valentine touched her shoulder gently, his fingers twitching, "No...it's not fine... Look at what I've done to you. A Pureblood's mark...I can't believe I've done this. You're not mine...and I won't think of you as property... I'm...I'm not my father." 'Aren't you?' a voice whispered in his head and he froze. Anthony's chambers Yeul growled, shoving him backwards, "This...is not a wish, it's a selfish desire." She wiped her hand across her mouth.
Kyrios smiled at her, "Yes, yes...thank you for returning Raphael to me. I've missed him terribly since that incident with Yuukki...silly human girl." Enan growled at his brother, "What have you done, Sitnah! Raphael...you mean Ren. He hated that name. You....why would you do that to him again?" Kyrios continued to smile. Kiel and Penny exchanged glances and sighed. "Women... I'll never understand them...but then again...I don't think Tori fully understands the type of motivation Genesis needs... C'mon, before we're left behind." He dragged Penny behind him and followed the group. Jean pounced on Gabriel and squealed with delight as he hefted her up onto his shoulders and took off into the sky. He didn't understand why she liked flying, but it did feel liberating to be able to soar through the clouds.
Road to Luin Nick tugged them towards town, "I figured we'd take a walk through town. I haven't seen much of it and Vickie said she doesn't go outside." He glanced at Annie and caught himself staring instead of glancing. treehouse Valentine struggled against her soothing motions and snarled down at her, "Calm down... Calm down?! You think I'm not calm? I...I'm..." his eyes fastened on the mark he'd created on her shoulder and he whimpered, "What have I done?" Anthony's chambers Yeul eyed his private chambers and turned on her heel to face him as he shut the door. "And what might that wish be? Be careful, Anthony...use your wishes selfishly and you'll find them all gone and so will I."
Enan glowered at her before the door blew open and he jerked around to meet Kyrios' happy grin and sparkling yellow eyes. "Why are you so happy?" He cast a look to Kaila and his grin grew bigger, "I have exactly what I want now. So now...brother, I'd like you to cease this nonesense talk about experimenting to make the humans better. We angels can handle this on our own. We're Seraphim...of course we can handle Kadaj before he summons Demise." Penny didn't move and Uriel grabbed his ear, pulling him towards the door after Giselle and motioned for the others to follow. Kiel sighed and rubbed the back of his head, "I guess I didn't really help.... But, Tori...Genesis is so damn quiet and always self-loathing. I thought I'd perk them both up with a little argument." He watched Genesis scramble out after Giselle, trying to keep her in his sight. "He's taking his protective duties too seriously..."
cabin Nick took his leave and pasted a smile on his face as he approached Annie and Vickie. "Hey...you two ready?" treehouse Valentine released her shoulder and licked her throat before meeting her eyes. "What's the matter? I thought you liked me." The old malicious glint came back into his blue eyes, "Or have I scared you too badly? My apologies, Ceril... Ceril...what a pretty name...of course...if your name was John I wouldn't care..." His entire mind was at war with itself. Fighting between Valentine and his defense mechanisms. Bank Yeul flicked her blue eyes towards him for a moment, "You have two wishes left. I'm guessing that since the scent has faded...you're not going to be taking me to the source of the blood... I'm not going to fee here...am I? Oh, woe is me..." She placed the back of her hand on her forehead in mock faint.
Enan came up behind her and pulled her back against his chest, "You needn't worry about hurting humans. They're disposable. All I need is one...one out of the billions that live on this earth. Please, Kaila...do this for me...for our future." Penny smirked and leaned over her, "What's the matter, babe? Not up for a bit of excercise?" Uriel cleared her throat to get Schuyler's attention, "His abilities lie not in combat, Schuyler. Penny...as he likes to be called...is provoking you on a different level than you were taught. Why don't we all go outside and begin." Kiel smiled at Tori, "And here I thought we were acting like adults. My mistake. It's not my fault this guy is lying to himself. Girlfriend...that's funny. Genesis you couldn't get a girl to like you if you took a bullet for them." He winked at Tori and mouthed, 'I know what I'm doing.' Genesis' black wing drooped to the floor. "True...girls aren't fond of me..." his shoulders drooped and his blue eyes glittered with pain. Kiel immediately regretted his words but waited for a few seconds to give Giselle a chance.
cabin Nick stood, "I like kids...even if they aren't werewolf pups. Serena...tell me...what was the name of the man that took Annie's virginity?" His entire body tensed and he turned a bright pink of embarrassment for asking such a personal question of her sister. treehouse Valentine's split mind went off on a rampage. All he could do was sit there, pleading inside his own head for her not to look at him like that. Scampering across the short distance from him to her, he pinned her to her bed and sank his fangs into her shoulder, marking her as his own.
Enan exhaled slowly, "I need a normal human to test this on first. I'd hate to ruin our chance of success by breaking one of our special humans. Yves hand-picked them...and I don't doubt his choice...but I want to make things easier for them. I need you to lure a normal human to an isolated warehouse at the edge of town. I'll be waiting there." Penny pursed his lips, "I don't think it's a matter of I can't take you...it's more of a matter of all the ways I'd rather take you than in a fight." He stood and circled her, patting her rear as he moved. Genesis growled at Tori until Kiel shot him a cold glare, "I'm not stealing anyone...I wouldn't want a guy. I don't swing that way. Plus I..." his blue gaze flicked to Giselle for a moment, "Happen to already have a girlfriend." Kiel shrugged and rolled his eyes, "Sure ya do, buddy." And thus started their bickering again about how Genesis wasn't his buddy.
cabin Nick straightened and grinned at Serena. "You think so? W-well...I'm not that much older... It's not like those nasty Vampires and their human consorts." With his smile still firmly in place, he patted Vickie's head and stood, "Ready for out walk then? Lets go see if Annie wants to walk with us." treehouse Valentine pried himself away from Ceril and stumbled backwards, tripping over a pile of books and landing on his back. "I...I'm sorry, Ceril. I shouldn't...have even thought about kissing you. I...I should probably go...I'm only going to end up destroying your home."
Enan nodded and pressed a cold kiss to her forehead before moving away from her and drawing out a large diagram. "What I'd planned to do was take a human that was dubbed special and infuse in their body essence of each Court. It would enhance their abilities and probably give them a leg up against Demise and Kadaj." Penny gaped openly at Schuyler. "You're kidding right? Schuyler..." he didn't have time to make an excuse as Uriel chucked what looked like a monk's staff at him, complete with brass rings attatched at the top. "This is insane!" Kiel and Genesis shrugged and chuckled at Penny, rewarding them a glare from Uriel as she walked over to Giselle and touched a warm hand to her shoulder, Close your eyes...and let your heart choose. Don't try to link it with what you've done before. This is the start of your new life. The choosing of your weapon will set you free."
cabin Nick shifted in his chair as he finished eating, "S...so...she's not...um...Vickie why don't you go wash up and we'll go for a walk, kay?" Nick's anxiety was becoming a problem. Why did it matter so much to him if Annie was or wasn't a virgin? They were just humans...like Serena said...nothing serious. Pack laws didn't apply to those not in the pack...plus, it wouldn't have mattered. Annie's relationships were long in the past like his. Shaking his head hard, Nick stood, "This is going to drive me bloody insane. Maybe I should just wait and see how Annie feels. It's not like she actually likes me...so why should I become all bent out of shape over something that might not ever happen." treehouse Valentine trembled and latched onto her lip, sucking the blood from it. Worry built inside him as his excitement mounted and he could plainly hear the sound of four long claws being gouged into the outside of her treehouse. His power wasn't his as long as he felt this way, but he had to make it stop...he didn't want to hurt Ceril. Luin Nina gripped her head and pouted, "I don't know what to do... I can't stand Lycan Hunters...and I can't stand werewolves. Where is Suzaku!?"
Enan shushed her and held her close, "Then talk my dear. No one's going to bother us." Kiel stood after Schuyler and firmly grabbed a sword. Genesis hefted his red sword up and touched the tip to Kiel's. "Ready?" He nodded and Uriel slapped their swords down with a heavy looking broadsword of her own, "No fighting in my classroom. As you've chosen your weapons, you'll have to get used to them within the next few days. I want you all to pick a sparring partner."
cabin Nick started to laugh, nearly choking on his fajita. "I can't imagine Annie as Alpha. But of course the Alpha of Chicago, we've heard is a female..." he let his sentence drift off and smiled to himself. Glancing out the window at Annie, his smile grew and he leaned back in his chair, "Has Annie...had a mate before?" treehouse Valentine's eyes widened. Fisting a handful of her bedsheets in his hands, he kissed her hard. A tearing noise made him tense. Casting his eyes sideways, he noted the large gash in the wall now.
Kyrios crooned to Ren, stroking his hair like a little boy and smiled devilishly. "That's my good boy. Soon...we won't have to worry about them anymore. I'm going to fix everything. Including that chit you called a decent woman that you had feelings for. Soon...very soon, I'll make them see why Yves was leading them down the oblivious path. I'll make them see the truth behind his words and they'll thank me for it." Enan smiled, regaining his composure. She had come to her senses and chosen him over that boy. "My dear, I'd hardly call it lurking. I was making sure you were alright. That boy did not seem like the kind of man to treat you well. I see you finally saw that." He held his hand out to her, fully expecting her to come to him. Kiel closed his eyes briefly and Uriel's voice broke into his peaceful thoughts, "As you know...all classes will be devoted to teaching you how to defend yourselves against Kadaj in the upcoming battle... As much as I hate to do this to you all... It's time we work on your individual skills." A variety of weapons lazily flew out of a closet and hovered in front of her, "Choose what you are familiar with." Penny cast longing glances at Schuyler from beside Kiel. He hadn't wanted to upset her, but his curiosity had gotten the better of him. He had to suppress a whimper as the professor, a short woman with brown hair and fierce brown eyes began class.
cabin Nick shook his head and waited until he'd swallowed to respond, "No, that's not necessary. It'll take them about a week...maybe more if everyone ends up indecisive about moving. No one's excited to come to a town run by vampires, but the pups are happy to have a quieter home awaiting them." He kept his tone light, "My uh...Beta likes girls that are strong...like Annie. He's not an overly good fellow...but I know a few guys that are coming that are ten times better. I just...I worry someone's going to take an interest in Annie...before I can sort out my own cluttered thoughts." He hated to admit it to her sister, but somewhere inside him, be it his wolf and himself too, he liked Annie and wanted to claim her as his own. treehouse Valentine let a smile tilt the corners of his lips up, "I'd hate to practice in a place such as your home...that could be ruined so easily." Even as he spoke, his tongue darted out and wet his lips.
"Ren broke into Uriel's room and curled up in her bed. "What...what's happening? I don't understand...anymore. Master Kyrios...why...?" Kyrios smirked, poking his head into Uriel's room. "That's the first time I've heard you call me Master again since Yuukki died. I'm glad to have my good boy, Rapheal back." He watched Ren curl tighter into a ball and grinned at his reaction to his Archangel name given to him by his father. Kiel smiled at her and led her to her seat, taking one beside her, watching Uriel mark down something on a clipboard. Enan curiously watched Ren walk away from Kaila's room. She obviously had come to her senses as he heard her calling for him. Pushing his way into her classroom, Enan came up short at her expression.
cabin Nick proceeded making his own food and nodded, "Yeah yeah...I guess they're...uh, as handsome as me... My beta is alright...I guess...if you like them tough and arrogant as nails." He twirled his fork in his hand and frowned, "Oh, I don't know...this is an unfair question. I'm a guy. I don't look at them like that and I'm not gonna listen to the girls ramble on about their good features and bad features." treehouse Valentine sat up, "No...no...I should apologize. I could've ruined your home and hurt you." The sound of a tree falling interrupted the peace around them and he winced, "I'm really sorry... Sometimes...wh-when I get excited...my abilities...get away from me. I never had any control in the first place. Mother has control...Seth has control...Father doesn't have much control so I suppose I take after him." Valentine struggled to suppress a smile, "I'm glad you enjoyed it."
cabin Nick jumped up and stretched, "Alright, lunch! Hey...y'know...you may not be like your sisters, but a bit of sunshine will do you some good. I know...I'll see if Sammy can bring with her something fun to do outside." he winked at Vickie and hustled into the kitchen for lunch, inhaling deeply. "Mmmm...smells good, Serena. It's been a while since I've had a fajita. I think....the last time was down in Mexico when I had to go pick up the Loberos with my cousin. Annoying bunch, but worth it." treehouse Valentine held himself an inch above her body, resisting the urge to kiss her, "No, it's a bad idea... I...I might hurt you... I...I shouldn't be...allowed to...be here..." His arms shaking, he gave in and pressed his lips to hers. cabin Nick jumped up and stretched, "Alright, lunch!
