Cabin Loud, thudding footsteps echoed down the hallway as Nick hurried into the kitchen, pulling his shirt over his head, his hair still dripping with water. "I smell bacon!" He reached for a piece, exactly like Vickie had. Treehouse Valentine nodded, "You mean...you're looking for your Pureblood that Turned you." Study - Balmore Manor Seth left Lucy in his study as she slept on the fold out couch. He supposed he'd taken a bit too much of her blood and made her dizzy. Letting her rest was best. Returning to his room he hoped Vickie was sleeping already.
Ren smoothed his hand over Kaila's wings, "Now....we do exactly what we want." Yves directed his attention to another large shelf of books and ran his finger over it, speaking over his should to Tori, "If you believe you can handle it." Kiel gripped her hand tightly, "Yeah? I'm right here, Tori." Penny coughed, "Well yeah...oh, huh? Seraphim...Kallai? I take it...she opened a brand new door for you?" Genesis exhaled a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding, "Yes...I'm...I'm alright. I...alright, Usagi?" The little bunny twirled around, landing on the bed again and created a leaf of its own, it glowed and replayed the events revolving around Genesis. He painfully watched how easily he'd been scooped up and strangled nearly to death. "It wasn't that serious, Usagi." Jean stood limp in his arms, "No...I'm sorry Tristan... It's because of me you won't look at me."
Treehouse Valentine watched her carefully with blue eyes of a hawk. "It would take a millenium to come to this conclusion...but, is it possible you're hiding from someone." cabin Nick ruffled his hair, once again he was told something about Annie and he didn't know why she would apply to him. Why should she care what he said to her sister. Meandering into the shower, Nick still contemplated Serena's words. Balmore Manor - Study Seth chuckled briefly at Rin's words. He'd have to remind her Vampire hearing was better than humans. Everyone in the house had already heard their conversation from the start. Bringing Lucy into his dark study, he sat at his desk and glowered at her. "I'm going to have to run some bloodwork and extensive tests. You'll have to stay down here for the time being."
Gabriel closed his eyes as Kaila and Ren left the room. His mind frantically trying to grasp at the lost memories. Was it Ren who locked his memories away? Or someone else? Was Kiel really one of his sons or was that a planted thought? Penny watched Kiel and Tori. "I suppose that's common with your own species... It's a lot more convienent for you...just go to school and find your husband or wife.." Yves nodded and glanced around Heaven. That spell was never meant to be given to him...had Ms. Camponella given it to him? Genesis hobbled into his room and ran into the floating Usagi. "Usagi? What're you doing here?" he rasped.
"It's possible...but I don't sense Kadaj's hand in this...who else could possibly wish harm on the school? Anyone I could think of would be Demise, but he won't rise until Kadaj finishes the spell during the full moon." Yves rolled his shoulders, stepping back from the hovering pool of light, he used to glance back down on Tori. Though his mental connection stayed strong. He grumbled to himself and shut the book he was holding. Kiel pressed the painkillers in Tori's palm and closed her fingers around them gently. Gabriel flinched, "Please...friends, don't call me Gabe anymore. I feel...like the name is...not me." Penny chuckled, "Nah, I'm alright... I see...a lot of people here have found someone that they cherish. It's kinda like...inside relationships...or something less dumb."
Treehouse Valentine sat beside her, feeling uncomfortable. "If that is your reasons I will respect that." Cabin Nick stopped, rubbing his eyes, "Hey...there's something a sleepy wolf needs to see. Something pretty in the morning. Yeah, I could go for some breakfast."
Balmore Manor - Foyer Seth adjusted Rin's clothes once again and turned her towards the stairs, "I'll not listen to your excuses this time, young lady. Even a vampire's consort needs to keep the air of a normal life. School is apart of that." He patted her rear and sent her off towards the stairs. Taking Lucy firmly by her shoulder, his expression turned to stone. "As for you...there's a great many things I want to pick your brain at. Come into my study and we'll settle your arrangements."
Kiel ignored Tori's comment and sat beside her as the Nurse hustled in, dropping a couple of painkillers in Kiel's hand and setting down a glass of water before quickly smoothing some sort of salve around Genesis' neck before he left the room. "You did well Tori. Without you, Genesis would have died and Kiel would probably follow after. That creature is called a Hopper. It's not a very creative name, but it does it's best not to frighten those who hear about it. Hoppers are generally weak against fire of some sort...and a lot of bullets...though I've never used mortal weapons before besides swords. Decapitation seems to work the best. It's tongue is used as a sensor, like a snake. I'm only happy they can't speak. The mundane thoughts that run through their pea sized brain must be truly boring. The creatures live to hunt and kill. They're very fast...it's odd...the forest isn't a place you'd normally see them. Usually they reside inside large buildings...like Churches...or warehouses. Dark places with plenty of room to move. Something must have drawn it to the forest." Ren scoffed, "It's alright. It's not like I'm telling major secrets. Gabriel doesn't have anything that serious he's keeping to himself." He missed the guilty expression flash across Gabriel's face and the confused glance he cast towards Kiel. Jean nodded, standing and slowly walking out of the infermery. Her hands shoved in her pockets of her shorts and her head ducked to her chest. She felt awkward now showing so much skin.
treehouse Valentine closed his eyes and shut the trap door behind him. Rubbing his head he yawned, revealing long fangs. "The sun is rising.... Even if we refuse to pretend...there is only so much we can show of our real selves to the world... Everyone...would freak out if they knew vampires lived in the same town as them. To them...we're nothing but monsters. Whether that's true or not...is up to the vampire." He undid his tie and popped a few buttons open, sheding his jacket. "Vampires who are bitten and undergo the change...don't sleep... Vampires who are born like this have a choice to sleep.... We get tired...we can close our eyes and dream...but when we wake...it will not be because we're rested. Sleep for too long and your body forgets it's alive even with no heartbeat. The efforts of Vampire parents go to waste and you die... A changed vampire....and a Pureblood....neither of them have a chance at a normal life with a family. We won't die....our children are born dead...how much more suffering must our kind go through?" Cabin Nick stirred from his sleep, grumbling as the sun had yet to poke out from the distance. He hated waking up early, but it was best to get the jump on things. Stumbling around in the cabin, he searched for a shower with bleary eyes and unsteady balance. Church Seth tugged Lucy into his home along with Rin and felt a headache form behind his eyes. More problems to deal with because of his brother. "The both of you will stay here, in my home until I figure out what to do with the lot of you. Rin hasn't had any sleep...there's still time before school starts so go get a bit of sleep."
Axel crept away from the new boy and Xue and moved to the Round Room. Rising to his place beside Saix, Axel winked and waved at the detatched...
North Woods - Tree house Valentine poked his head through the trap door and glanced around. "What's the point of pretending? There's a lot of point. So you retain a notion that some part of you was human. Instead of living like...something...up in this tree." Church Seth shook his head, "For her...I wouldn't know. A few days? Hours? I've no idea how potent Valentine's powers are in turning mortals into our kind. Mine is a matter of days...his...might be weeks."
Penny's face mottled with color, "What....no...well, maybe a little I guess." Kiel relaxed and stepped back away from Tristan, returning to Tori's side. "How many times do I have to tell you to take it easy?" Ren laughed, patting Gabriel's head, despite his growls of protest. "Don't complain, it doesn't become you. If I hadn't hit him, the preservation spell wouldn't have worn off. I keep Gabriel under close survelliance. After his stupid stunts with his last wife...I'm not going to be duped so easily again." He watched Gabriel turn his head away from him and mess up his face in a scowl. Genesis lifted himself off the cot, barely getting his feet under him as he headed towards the door. "I have to go...I have to...protect Giselle...and Allen."

Church Seth frowned and let go of Lucy, returning to Rin's side. "Nothing...I can't do anything. She will change and it will be my responsibility to look after her from that time on. Just like Mimi."

After years of withstanding fal'Cie attacks and fighting Cid Raines, she was pretty sure it would take much more than that to knock her off her feet. "Leo!" Flinging a Razor Gale towards Linegea, Lightning wedged Odin in between Leo and the Crystal l'Cie. "Be my shield!" Using Ullr's Shield, Light healed Leo, Belias and herself, casting Protect and Shell on them as well. "Fear is somthing that consumes you. I must try to overcome my own fears." Akira and Bahamut broke free of the clouds and viewed space and all the twinkling stars. "It's so....beautiful. There is...something left in this world that's worth protecting, isn't there?" Bahamut didn't answer her, but she felt that it was agreeing with her. Fisting her hands against the cold, Akira glared at the clouds below them. "We have to help. No one would be down there fighting if I hadn't freaked out. I'm...not afraid anymore." Sharply turning, Akira grabbed hold of whatever she could as Bahamut made a sudden drop into the clouds. Standing and riding him like a surf board, Akira cried out with delight before being lifted up with the winds. Bahamut disappeared into the clouds and soon she could see the ground rushing up to meet her. "Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Catching Akira on it's back, Bahamut swooped low to the ground, emitting Focused Bolts on the Cavalry soldiers below. "Twilight, grab who you can and let's get a move on!"
She never turned to face him, "To show you what befell the one that wields Ice as his partner in this war."
Jean and Penny knelt beside Tristan. Concern pulsing off them in waves. When Kaila, Ren, Tori and Kiel entered the infirmary Kiel set Tori down gently and shoved Penny and Schuyler out of the way to inspect Tristan. "Hey...you alright, buddy? You have to get your head out of the clouds right now Tristan." "I don't think that's where his head is, Kiel. I think the shock of Kadaj's threats are finally hitting home. That expression...it looks like he's lost someone important to him." Ren sat beside Gabriel on the same cot and thumped his fist on his friend's chest before Gabriel's blue eyes snapped open and he gasped for air. "Good morning, sunshine!" Gabriel glared at Ren, lifting a shaking hand to his forehead, "You are such a thick-skulled dimwit. I hate you." "And I love you too, brother." Ren grinned at him. The leaf flew out of Giselle's hands and hovered barely and inch above the floor and projected the image of a full bodied Archangel with a hood pulled low over his head. "Child of Evion...my decree of the old Law of Keeping, Ms. Giselle's protector will be one Genesis Rhaphsodos. As for Mr. Allen...you will be assigned to stay near Giselle and her Angelic protector." The image wavered and faded out as the leaf slowly burnt up and Usagi began a spiraling upwards flight around the room to no place in particular.
Forest Valentine looked up at her tree house home and frowned, "I would've thought Seth would provide better housing if you'd wanted."
