Enan pointed vaugely to the west. "On the western edge of town. It's not hard to spot. Kind of a dank place, but it's inconspicuous." Kiel nodded, "Alright. I'm always willing to let you try." Penny grinned, "Hey, welcome back to reality. Where'd you go?" Genesis stared at his boots, "What would I gain from lying to you? If I started lying to you...I might as well just slap Micheal in the face and see if he tears out my other wing."
Forest The Lycan hunters neared their position and Nick whined. He wanted Serena to get up and leave the area. Handling Lycan Hunters in his wolf form was much more savage but efficient, but he'd be hurt easily trying to protect others. Church Yuka set an arm around his shoulders and directed him inside the church and into Seth's home. Mirabelle had taken Seth to his room to lay down. Yuka set Valentine on the couch and left to fetch some dressings for his wounds.
Enan tightened the drawstring on his Seraphic robes, "Apparently the boy arrived earlier and has lost his memory of four days past. He was covered in wounds when they found him. He believes it's still the beginning of the school year. Mr. Kingsley has become unreliable." he spoke matter-of-factly about him. Kiel nodded slowly and tugged off his muddy shirt. "No use tramping around wearing something destroyed and dirty." The edge clung to a thin red line drawn across his chest and he winced slightly. "Seems like he cut more than my shirt." Penny wrapped his arms around Schuyler, trying to direct her attention back to him. Genesis dropped his head to his chest, "What...I think of...her... What do I think...of Giselle? I think...I..." he slowly wormed his way around in her arms and blankly stared down at her, "I think...you're the only girl to put up with me in my life...and I would do anything to make you smile." He spoke softly, "You remind me of my mother...all warmth and kindness and yet you have that way about you when you're angry that makes every bone in my body vibrate in anticipation of your heated words."
forest Nick skidded to a halt beside Annie, glancing around with a low growl in his throat. Half a mile away, Lycan Hunters prodded an innocent, normal wolf after they'd shot it. "I smelt werewolves, sir. I swear. But this isn't a were. It's just a wolf." Damien, the leader of the Lycan Hunters currently bore a long scar on his face from his right eyebrow to the left corner of his jaw. It tore across his mouth, marring what would've been a sensual mouth. "We've got all night. With the moon out, they can't hide in their human skin and pretend to be normal. I'll find those mangey mutts and put them out of their misery." Church Valentine clutched a hand to his chest. The wounds were healing slowly already, but still blood poured out of him like a fountain. "I understand, Ceril. Sometimes you can't help this kind of thing." Yuka said quietly. Mayor's house Lucy released Rin for a moment and flipped on a lamp, "The Mayor's house. I was adopted by the Mayor of Luin and I live here. I brought you home so we could be away from the vampires."
Enan followed her, turning his back on Ren, leaving the teacher to stand staring after them. "Of course. I think Kyrios is with Sanya in her classroom at the moment. That Angeal fellow brough Sanya a Forget-Me-Not flower...so they're going to start making the potion for the boy, Kingsley to drink." Genesis lowered his eyes to the ground, "But...everytime I open my mouth...something awful comes out. Wh-what could I possibly have to say that would raise your opinion of me!?" he nearly sobbed. Kiel chuckled with Tori and cast a pitying look at Genesis. "You could start by telling her what you think of her." He watched Genesis' blue eyes snap open, "What...I think?"
Forest Nick sharply turned after her, letting her lead the way for a moment. His paws beat faster on the ground as he lightly shouldered Annie onto a trail. Church Valentine dropped to his knees, dizzy from shock and Seth snarled until Yuka called Mirabelle and she took him to his room. Yuka set a calming hand on Ceril's shoulder, "Would you help me take Lord Valentine to a spare room so he can rest?" She refused to meet Ceril's gaze, "I...I see something has changed. You....have spent quite a lot of time with Lord Valentine. Haven't you...?" Mayor's house Lucy clamped a hand down around Rin's mouth, her blue eyes glowing in the dark. "Would you shut up?! I'm trying to help you."
Enan greeted them at the door with a wary smile and concern for Kaila. "Everything alright?" Genesis froze, his muscles tensing and his blue eyes went wide, staring sightlessly at Kiel. "What.....what are you....doing?" Kiel hauled himself to his feet and wiped blood from his split lip. "At least you know how to throw a punch....cause with girls, you rather suck." He watched Genesis flinch and shrugged at the brown haired boy dressed in red. "Serves you right too. Name one girl that likes people fighting."
forest Nick bolted after her, matchind her stride. As a wolf he was faster, a four legs were better than two. His tongue lolled out the side of his mouth as he ran. Church Seth's golden eyes flashed and Valentine moved in front of Ceril. The tearing of cloth filled the silence and Yuka covered her mouth out of shock. "You can NEVER replace a human! Rin is as special to me as....as Lirum was." Valentine shuddered and took shallow breaths. His blood pooled at his feet from the gashes in his chest now from Seth's angry power. "Don't...be mad at Ceril. I came here to talk about change....maybe without her you'll listen. Release your hold on the town of Luin and let the humans move it forwards through the ages of technology and you can live out here in peace with Rin and Yuka and the others."
Ren seemed confused. "Where are you going? Oh...it is raining...I suppose I should get us out of the rain, huh. Catching a cold wouldn't help anyone at the moment." Cheerfully, and oblivious, Ren tugged on her hand and headed back to the school. Kiel stood, brushing dirt off his pants. Abandoning his sword, he gave Tori a nod, "I'm alright." Setting her to the side, so she wouldn't get hurt, Kiel reached down and grabbed Genesis' shirt in his hand, haulling him up to his feet. "You can beat on me til your heart's content....but I'm not going to take it lying down. Either you fight me in a way where no one can die or you suck it up like a man and fight fair." Genesis glared at him for a long moment before headbutting him. "If I beat on you til my hearts content...you'd be dead." he snarled and rubbed his forehead. Kiel's head wasnt' exactly soft as a pillow. Before he could remove his hand, Kiel tackled him to the ground, rolling in the dirt until they hit a muddy patch with Kiel face first in the mud. "Your girlfriend thinks my anger should be directed at the one who stole my wing. What do you think? You think I should pick a fight with the man with enough power to erase me?! You think I should stick my neck on the chopping board because I'm a little frustrated!? That I should lay down and die at his feet?! Do you?!!" Kiel elbowed him in tht gut and shoved him off him, spitting out mud, "No...but I don't think you should take it out on me just cause I'm here. I get being frustrated. You don't think I am? I don't have wings. You, at least, have one. I look at Tori's wings and I appreciate them probably more than she does. They're beautiful and I wish I had a pair of my own. But if you want to fight over that? Fine, have at me. I'll take it all, as long as you're not beating on someone who doesn't understand what's bothering you." Genesis seethed, grinding his teeth, "I hate you...." Accepting his hatred hurt almost as much as accepting Gabranth's words. "I know...."
Forest Nick's wolf scampered off further into the woods and let out a howl again. He wanted to run with Annie. His paws worried the ground as he lifted them individually in anticipation. Church of Luin Valentine swallowed nervously at the door and squeezed his eyes shut. Before his hand could reach the door knob it burst open and Seth's bright brown eyes bore into Valentinte's blue. "Rin! ....You're not Rin. Valentine..." he snarled but his eyes misted over and he started to shake. Valentine grabbed for his brother's shoulder to steady him and for once he didn't shove him away. "Seth are you alright? Wh-why are you wearing colored contacts?" Seth blinked rapidly. He hadn't realized one had slipped, showing the dark crimson of hunger eating away at him. "Rin....hasn't come home with Lucy...from school yet. Elizabeth came over earlier...she...she asked Yuka to make her some tea and when she left, Liz attacked me. She took more blood than I allow. I'm so...so hungry...." He slid to his knees on the floor and Valentine followed him, keeping a firm hand on his shoulder. "Seth....you have Mirabelle, Yuka and Cooke...why didn't you feed from one of them?" Yuka poked her brown head around the corner of the Church and wiped at the tears on her cheeks, "He wouldn't let us near him. He said he'd promised Rin he'd only feed from her." Mayor's House Lucy had taken Rin around the school, made sure she got to her classes and afterwards, hit her over the head with a heavy branch from a fallen tree and carried her to the Mayor's house in which Lucy had been living. She promised the little girl she'd take care of her and keep the vampires away from her so she wouldn't be brainwashed again.
Ren smiled and let out a small laugh. "I'm glad you saw something in me that wasn't just my looks. My magic...and my knowledge of history are what I pride myself on. Kaila...whatever I felt for you, I'm sure it'll return. I remember meeting you....and i remember thinking you were a strange woman for calling me fascinating." Genesis swung again, clashing with Kiel's sword as he protected himself. "If you quit analyzing me for five seconds, you'd see our fight has already begun!" Kiel scowled, Genesis meant him real harm if he didn't defend himself. The boy was strong and he held a lot of strength even in one arm as he held his sword loosely in his hand while Kiel held his tightly in two hands. "Genesis, I don't know what the hell happened just now. Why won't you..." pushing him back, Kiel growled, "Just talk to me like a normal person!" That seemed to tick him off. Genesis leaned into a swing and cut through Kiel's shirt, "I don't need anyone to talk to! If you hadn't noticed...I'm not normal!" He lifted his boot from the ground and planted it firmly in the middle of Kiel's chest, knocking him to the ground.
Forest Nick licked her face furiously and nuzzling the side of her head. He touched his nose to hers and paced around her. Prodding her with his nose, Nick barked his approval and started rubbing his fur against hers again to cover her in his scent. Though he shook his head internally at how foolish his wolf was, it never listened and insisted she belonged to them. road to church Valentine caught up after a moment and frowned at her words, "You don't really think it's all that bad...do you? Surely being cursed to live as a beast is worse than our fate. Ceril... If you hadn't been changed when you did...I'd probably have killed that girl...and then Seth would've killed me. Even if you're not...I'm grateful you were changed."
Ren smiled warmly, his golden eyes filled with adoration and he devoured her mouth. "I love you..." the words slipped from his lips as easily as the rain fell into his eyes. Stiffening, Ren touched his forehead to hers, "Well...that came out rather suddenly. I remember the feeling...but whether it's you...the image is missing. Kyrios holds that memory from me." That he was sure of. Kyrios had stolen a memory from his head. Kiel reached a hand towards Genesis' shoulder and he flinched again, away from Kiel. Lifting his red sword, Genesis poked it against his stomach, "You should be less friendly and more assertive in battle." Kiel frowned, "I guess...but what's the matter with you?" Genesis didn't offer a response, only a swing at his head. Ducking, Kiel's eyes widened, "Genesis!" "Stop talking."
Forest Nick tugged on her ear lightly with his teeth. His wolf was finally happy to be able to meet Annie's wolf and he couldn't find any other reason other than that it would scare Annie if he attempted anything tonight. Valentine followed again, puzzling over the wolves. "That would make sense...he was awfully protective. Perhaps that girl was his mate. Hmm...werewolves confuse me. It's like they don't know what form to take. Wolf or human."
forest Nick let her up and licked her nose. Blue eyes brighter, he hopped in place like an excited puppy. Valentine shrugged, "They're just mutts. It's not like they could've done serious damage. Plus it was only one. A male...he was defending the girl I was trying to feed from. She didn't seem fazed that a wolf had saved her."
"Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Ligtning flicked her eyes towards Leo. "I'm not one to turn tail and run from a challenge, but my apprentices need me more than fate does at this moment." Leaning over Odin's side, she grabbed Leo by the back of his shirt and slung him up into her lap in front of her and rested him against Odin's neck. The moment felt like something she couldn't remember from her past. Was it the memories of Serah? Of carrying around her little sister when they were kids? Or could it be a reminder of Hope... Either way, she refused to let grief overwhelm her and turned Odin around and fled towards her students. ""Twilight, everyone, we're taking our leave! Crystal l'Cie aren't our problem at the moment." she looked down at Leo in her lap. "Fear is somthing that consumes you. I must try to overcome my own fears." Akira directed Bahamut to land near the others and waved to them, "Hey, c'mon! Lets get outta here!"
Ren involuntarily purred at the motion and tilted her chin up. "Not for my memories...if not for yourself...why would you be so open to a man like me?" He brushed his lips across hers. Kiel tapped his head with his sword after blocking another swing from Tori. "I don't remember any giant voltures... I remember...creepy hopping, frog-like mutants...and some other stuff...." Genesis watched her in a daze before his reflexes caused him to flinch away from her and turn towards Kiel and Tori, "Kiel! How about a match! You get your wings handed to you and I'll get my pride back." Kiel grinned at him, "Oh, buddy, you are so far dead."
Forest Nick threw his weight against Annie and pinned her to the ground. Wagging a brown tail, he barked and rubbed his muzzle against her fur. Valentine had opened his mouth to breathe as a response to running and an instinct to not be able to smell the humans. "Werewolves....oh, them. The pups that attacked me when I was trying to get a meal. So they live here... They aren't so much a threat. It's a full moon, more than likely they'll just be running around looking for some deer to maul."
forest Nick dropped his head to the ground, sniffing in search of Annie's wolf. Valentine followed after her, "They? Who..."
