forest The shepard's eyes widened at the sight of Nick, Annie, and Serena's glowing eyes in the dark and pulled out a rifle. Nick barked at Annie and Serena and growled at the shepard, the blood on his muzzle gave him an extra menacing look. Balmore Manor Valentine shivered. His wounds had closed and the hunger set in. Refusing to accept that he was hungry, Valentine diverted his eyes to Seth's room. "You think he'll be alright? If he's so attatched to that girl...he won't feed from anyone else. Seth's appetite must have grown since having her in his company. Being able to feed regularly is a luxury."
A pink haired woman crouched behind a building before darting out, blasting bullets into one of the drones. "You're not going anywhere!" she shouted and jumped onto a drone's head and pushed herself off into the air after the drone heading towards the shard.
Forest Nick lifted a paw and let out a long howl before dragging his sheep back towards the forest. Lights came on in the shepard's cabin and he moved quicker, gnawing on the leg as he dragged his quarry. balmore manor Valentine shook his head gently to avoid vertigo. "No, I'm alright. Just a bit dizzy. Seth...wasn't himself. He seems upset over something. You think...it's that Rin he was talking about?"
Forest Nick crouched low as he watched the sheep meander around. Picking one out of the crowd closest to the fence, he launched himself at it, nipping at it's legs to get it to stumble and topple over. Balmore manor Valentine had been cleaned and bandaged by Yuka and Cooke later on. He sat up on the couch and searched her face, "I'm terribly sorry for compelling you to feed like that. I know it was wrong..." His entire features softened as he looked at her, "I...I only missed you a little. No big deal." mayor's house Lucy released her and scowled down at the girl, "You're younger than I am...how can you possibly think they're even remotely human. They don't walk out into the sunlight, they don't even eat normal food."
Kyrios smiled and nodded, turning back to the Book of the Grey and flipping through it's pages casually. Penny dropped his staff and trembled, "Holy..." Genesis moved in front of Giselle and drew his sword out of the ground. Gabriel walked through the illusion, causing it to flicker and disappear. "You asked and Uriel showed you. That creature...is called the Imprisoned. It's a dormant form of Demise."
Kyrios spoke in clipped tones, "The Dark Court is hungry. The Humans we've gathered refuse to take the drug we offer and thus we need a strong emotion-driven angel to come." Penny opened his mouth when Uriel dropped to the ground and before them a monster the size of Gabriel stood before them. View attachment 32056 Genesis shook his head sadly, "I have no idea. It just...happens...I don't want to bring you there. I want you to stay safe. Stay healthy...stay away from that place."
forest Ignoring Annie's bark, Nick hurried towards the sounds of the bleating sheep. church Ceril blinked once, "Yes...I'm not so sure he understands why you left. Valentine was a smart man before his madness set in and now, he's paranoid. Go to him Ceril. But...can I ask? Do you truly love him? He calls you his bride...but do you love him?"
forest Nick yelped as she pulled out the knife. With the hunters retreating for the night, Nick's muscles unclenched and he started slowly walking in the direction of the next town over with a sheep farmer living with his flock on the outskirts of town. The wolf in him called to hunt and he would oblige for this night only. church Yuka sat beside her folding her hands on the back of the pew in front of her, "I don't believe you're any trouble. And Valentine seems different with you, despite his madness. When I joined with Seth, I knew the troubles i'd find waiting for me. I've accepted them. This is my life, and I'll serve Master Balmore until the end."
Kyrios considered her option before settling his golden eyes on her. "Your offer is tempting...but I have something that would seal our deal. I'll return his memory of you, in exchange....you must come to the Dark Court's hotel. Come with me to the hotel and enjoy yourself. Raphael might've mentioned it before." Penny shrugged, "Maybe I will. It's hard to take a fighting class seriously when I don't understand what we're fighting against." As soon as he spoke, Uriel's brown eyes narrowed on him and her breathing hitched up a notch, coming faster as she shut her eyes. Genesis flinched, "Yes...I will be tempted. I go there every night...and with my...unreasonable feelings about you...I'd want to take you with me." He looked pained as he spoke. "The Dark Court's hotel...is where the angels and demons of the Dark Court gather and we indulge ourselves. We party....dancing, drinking, eating, conversation....the works....but after midnight....they bring out the human girls and guys... The reaction is always the same...fear, desire, lust, envy...we get mearly a taste of those emotions and after they've consumed a euphoric drug, those emotions are hightened and we consume them. Those emotions...the negativity sustains the Dark Court. We feed off of those emotions as well as food and drink. It's a living nightmare to bear this curse. The humans that go....they die in the morning."
Kyrios leaned back in the chair he was sitting in and folded his hands, "No. I wouldn't trade anything for Ren's memory of you. The little flickers of emotion that remain in his heart will never trigger a memory that has been removed entirely. I have not simply broken the chains of his memories, I've removed a few. His knowledge of Kadaj...his memory of his love for you...and the eternities of misery he experienced in the Dark Court's hotel." Penny huffed a laugh next to her head, ruffling her hair, "Looks like I lose." He released her and made sure she wasn't going to fall over. Genesis flicked his gaze over to everyone else and landed on Kiel as he returned wearing a light blue t-shirt. "Everyone else is happy with their choice... I...have an idea." He leaned close to her and whispered in her ear, "I beg of you to never follow me or anyone else who bears an X on them to a hotel. The music may be enticing, but if you go inside...you won't come out like yourself...if you even manage to leave. I think you should stick around Schuyler and Tori. Around them, none of the other Dark Court angels will be tempted to take you away to that hotel."
Forest Nick limped back to Annie and Serena before Annie could leave her sister. The silver knife Damien had held to his throat was lodged in his shoulder, limiting his steps. His tongue flopped out of his mouth and limped towards her. church Yuka remained silent for a while and handed Ceril a cloth to wipe her hands on, "The girl's fate was inevitable, as was Valentine's madness."
Kyrios glanced up at her and smiled, he waved Sanya to leave and she did as he asked. "Why of course. I wouldn't dream of denying my little angel anything. After all...you've given me a great and wonderous gift. I can hardly imagine what I could do for you." he mocked her. Kiel caught her glance and gave her a two fingered salute as he jogged back into the school, heading for his room to change. Penny sucked in a breath and gabbed her hand, pulling a martial arts move quickly on her and tucking Schuyler's back against his chest with his arm around her neck. "Good?" Genesis blushed as red as his jacket. "W-well...I...I...I don't actually...know what I'm asking. I'm no good with...good girls."
Forest Nick lifted his blue eyes from the dying hunter under him and met the glittering green of Damien, the man with the scar. "Hello Nicholas. Miss me? You owe me your pelt you mangey mutt!" He lunged at Nick and touched the hilt of a blade against his temple. "Move and I'll slit your throat." Church Yuka glanced down at her slippered feet. "Yes...it's the only way it makes sense. I don't know the specifics of her biology, but I assume that is what's happening inside her body. I believe the Vampire gene is warring with her human DNA, and with Valentine's bite, it's going to win....and I don't know what will happen to her after that. She'll never be a normal Vampire, nor will she ever be a normal human... Neither vampire nor human...and not even a half-breed."
Phantom of the Opera!
UPDATE: Missions: Saix will determine where you go and what type of mission it is, but the details of the mission are up to you. It's not a linear rp, feel free to add your own spin on missions. After a few miles, Alice was seen pounding against a solid wall of ice with her Keyblade. "Dammit Ryuu! Fine..." she growled something under her breath and stared at the dark clouds beyond.
Sanya glanced at the door and smiled at Kaila, but Kyrios kept his eyes fixed on a page he was reading before shutting the book. There was a strip of duck tape on the cover of the book with a silence spell written on it. "Oh, hello Kaila." Kiel rubbed his chest, tracing his fingers over the scar. "Thanks. Now I should probably go get a new shirt.." his cheeks tinged red as he held his ruined shirt in his hand, standing half-naked before everyone. Penny grinned a boyish grin and tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear, "Sounds good to me." Genesis felt his palm tingle as she touched it. Angels of other courts feared the X of the Dark Court, but Giselle didn't know what it meant and she wasn't afraid. Silent relief made his legs weak. "I...h-haven't had a real girlfriend in all of my life. The only girls I've been around are the ones here at school and...the girls Dark Court angels bring to...Kyrios' hotel that the angels stay in while they're on Earth."
Forest Lycan Hunter and Nick tussled in the ground. Without his knife, the hunter was left with a pair of silver plated brass knuckles. Beating on Nick's sides, blood started to stain the ground underneath them. But whether it was coming from Nick or the Hunter, the others couldn't be sure. Balmore Manor Valentine watched her go, feeling abandoned for a moment before feeling for their newly created bond. Yuka bottled a small bottle of his blood and set it aside as she dressed his wounds and stopped the bleeding before he was completely out of blood. Standing, Yuka walked back into the Church and found Ceril. She flinched inwardly as Ceril addressed the cross. "You believe someone watches over you even as you are dammed to live this life? After...a while....I've forgotten what it's like to feel faith in something you cannot see or touch. To Mirabelle...and Cooke...Seth is their Father and Sire." She hesitated as if on the verge of telling Ceril something secret and of great importance. "You saw that girl...the one with black hair. Valentine called her Lirum...the one named Lucille. She...is Lirum's daughter...and Master Seth's offspring. The girl was born without vampire fangs and thus Lirum when Lirum left and gave birth, I did not believe the child was a vampire. But Pureblood blood flows through her veins and any vampire gene in her body will be activated by Valentine's bite. I fear the child will learn her future quite quickly and may try to take her own life." Mayor's House Lucy slapped Rin hard, "Shut up! I don't care if you think you love them or they love you. Vampires are monsters! I'm not going to escape and leave you there to suffer under their mind games. I bet that guy told you he loved you. Gave you pretty things and did things with you that he said were out of love. Vampires are soulless demons. They can't love, and they can't keep you safe from themselves!"
Forest Nick barked his denial and hurled after Annie. A Lycan Hunter caught Annie in a net and was about to bring a silver knife down into her back when Nick launched himself into the man, knocking him over a few steps. Balmore Manor Yuka reappeared with the dressings and began to cover Valentine's wounds. "Just try not to let him move so much." Valentine smeared blood from his wounds onto Ceril's bottom lip. "Look at my bride, Yuka....she's so hungry."
Kyrios and Sanya hovered over the Grey Book, inspecting the potion Sanya had to concoct for Kingsley. Kiel nodded and closed his eyes. The most he felt was the warmth of her hands and a twinge in his chest as the small wound closed. Penny thoughtfully glanced over to Giselle and Genesis. Genesis mumbled under his breath, "Do all girls take this much convincing." He pulled off his left glove and laid his hand flat with his palm up. In the center of his palm was a large branded X. "I swear on my bond to Lord Kyrios. I have...certain feelings...for you..."
