Elena advanced towards them and roots broke through the marble floors behind them. Penny's eyes grew wider and wider with each passing second. "Holy.... L-listen...I'd rather not die like this... Um...a-aren't you a teacher here? We're...supposed to be the 'Chosen humans' or something...right?" Elena's green eyes flared, "That's right... THAT'S RIGHT! Chosen!? Ha! More like pitied! By chance you were picked. Your lives are worthless to me. What do I gain by Demise dying? NOTHING! Another few years of working in this prison before I'm discovered? No...that simply won't do. I'd rather die here...than die by those filthy, do-gooder angels!" Launching herself at them, the dagger flying dangerously close to Tristan's face, she tackled Penny and stabbed downwards. Jean shushed her for the eighth time before there was a knock at the door. Hurrying to open it, Jean let in several Summer Court angels wearing bright colors and carrying food and drinks and a sound system. Kiel growled and Genesis became even paler. "That 'new seraph girl' has a name and a boyfriend. I suggest...if you want to keep all your appendages you keep your hands to yourself. As for Giselle...well...I think she's Genesis' problem currently." Genesis shook his head slowly, "She's not...a problem... Just...a crush...it'll go away..." Before Kiel could snap back a retort a long whip wrapped around Kingsley's ankle and jerked him to a halt. "Going somewhere, Mr. Kingsley? You've been skipping classes since you got here and you've missed more than a few days of class. We wouldn't want you to fail now would we?" Uriel's tone was ice cold and her smile even more biting. Though she held the end of the whip in her left hand, her right rested on the hilt of her sword at her hip.
Probably. I can never turn down an rp that interests me.
Balmore Manor: library Valentine felt himself relax and tense in one fluid motion. Maybe... he shook his head mentally, Ceril said she could take care of herself...why did he need to feel so much like the older days when being alone with her these multiple times would've already ruined her. Valentine shied away from her, his old fear back in his blue eyes. "I suppose...asking if...you've been with another man would be...redundant...wouldn't it... I'm...my brother....um...how can I... In...a sense of the word...I'm...a virgin...if you will." Speaking those words caused vampire women to laugh, seeing he was this old already and wasn't exactly wearing a chastity belt. Untangling himself from her legs and fingers he wandered over to a glass display of an old book. "I've...been with...I just never.... There's something wrong with me...isn't there?" "I'll say. Mr. Balmore hasn't ever spoken ill of you intentionally, but he did manage to skip over that part." Valentine's head jerked to the door and found Mirabelle pinning her hair back with bobby pins. "Mirabelle...!" She barely moved and finished with her hair before grabbing up a broom and feather duster, "I've work to do...and unless you intended to do some dusting with her panties...I suggest you keep it to a dull roar." Luin Nina shrugged, "Probably off being a goof getting himself into trouble. It's not really your concern. Suzaku does what he wants to. We've got our own mission to do right now."
Penny frowned a little and kept walking. "I could've sworn my senses were telling me this way... Surely it can't be that hard to find...right?" "Find what?" A woman's voice startled Penny and he jerked back from the sight of Elena weilding a wickedly sharp dagger in her hand. "Oh, my apologies...did I startle you? You boys shouldn't be wandering around here all alone. It's dangerous here without supervision." She laughed wildly and brandished the dagger. Jean clasped Tori's hands and bowed her head, "All you have to do is pray. I've got what we're praying for." Kiel half turned towards Kingsley, "Yeah, they all headed up to Tori's room...said something about a girl's night. Why...something the matter?"
Luin Nina bit her lip, feeling vampire fangs pierce her skin. She missed Suzaku and wondered where he'd gotten off to. Balmore Manor: library Valentine tilted his head to the side, "I see....not that fragile, huh?" Sharp, white fang glittered against his lips as he smiled and kissed her hard enough to move her head back so it hit against the bookshelf.
Penny snapped his fingers, "Just leave it to me. I've not a natural sense of these things!" He started off in a random direction. Jean tapped her foot and frowned. "Um...Miss Tori...Uh...maybe you could help me out. Since...I chose Tristan over Keenan...I'm lacking a link to the Summer Court." Kiel and Genesis glowered at each other for a moment longer before turning around, refusing to meet each other's gaze. "You don't have to be so stubborn. I'm sure that --" "I swear if you say, she'll come around, I'll kill you!" Genesis snapped and dug his boots into the grass as he turned to face Kiel. "You don't know anything. You got off easy. Tori starts school and Yves heals her up and you're there to be her knight in annoying armor. You owe your relationship to a dead Seraphim. I start from square one. Giselle isn't...she doesn't....need someone like me hanging around her making things more difficult." Kiel rolled his eyes, "Oh for crying out loud! You're so damn blind! You can't see anything beyond that huge, hulking mass of scar tissue you've accumilated. Can you?"
Luin Nina grumbled and started towards their destination. "You two keep acting all buddy buddy...and the vampires will tear you apart using your relationship. Not to mention...Lycan Hunters aren't fond of "brotherly love". Real or fake." Balmore Manor: library Valentine's smile remained fixed on his lips, "I thought it was sweets before dinner. But..." his fingers clamped down on hers, "Giving into what I desire may as well be an invitation to destroying everything. I don't want to hurt you Ceril. I've only just come to know you. Would you have me ruin a fine flower with centuries of blood?"
Penny smiled and stuck his tongue out at Kiel and Genesis' backs. "Let's do it! We'll find the girls on our own. Who needs angels to show us around." He headed towards the school's doors, "I'm positive the inside of the school can't be more confusing and dangerous than that forest was." As soon as he opened the doors, the floors shifted and the stairwells changed (like in Hogwarts). Penny's expression grew grim, "Oh...this might be a problem." Jean set the phone aside and pulled Giselle to her feet, "Who cares! It's not like we have to impress anyone. Just have FUN. Now...Tori and Schuyler can handle the where and I'll handle the music and food! What're Summer girls good for? Settin' up parties." She squealed and hopped around the room.
Luin Nina jerked her pale head towards the path leading away from town and towards the forest, "Exactly where their targets are." Balmore Manor: library Valentine stepped forwards, invading her personal space in one step. "That's correct. I wanted to keep you untarnished....yet my desire to keep y intentions good and...otherwise, war in my mind. I could always...." he leaned forwards until his breath brushed across her cheeks, "Give you a taste and make you come back wanting more without ruining you."
Penny's shoulders drooped, "Oh, um...yeah, I guess not." Jean snatched it out of Giselle's hands and examined it, running her fingers along the plastic. Her eyes grew wider as the screen lit up. She lifted her head when Schuyler mentioned a party, "Yeah, a party is always fun! We could have music and food...and lots and lots of dancing!"
"Lightning. It flashes bright, then fades away. It can't protect. It only destroys." Lightning had barely relaxed when she realized they had no where to go and the feeling of despair was starting to cloud her mind. "Well...where do we go now?" she mumbled to herself. "Fear is somthing that consumes you. I must try to overcome my own fears." "Light! We should go to Academia. I doubt the Cavalry will launch an attack on us there." Lightning shook off her despair and eyed Akira, "Academia... Is it safe for l'Cie there?" She watched Akira nod and stared off into the distance where Academia rose into the sky. "Right. We're left with no other choice. I'll take point, Akira, watch the rear!" Lightning barked off orders and started for the largest city of Academia. What would await them there, Light could only hope that it would be shelter and not a military ambush.
Estes grinned widely at the blue haired boy. His reasoning was simple: freaks of a kind flock together. "Absolutely, my boy. Girls!" he shouted loudly up the stairs and several girls came running down wearing golden embroidered dresses and jewelry that slipped underneath the hems of their dresses. Last to sulk down the stairs was the purple haired girl, her clothes torn and dirty and barely covered her pale skin. "You're late...again. When I call...you come running. How many times must I repeat myself?" His voice was strained and his smile fake and still the girl lowered her eyes to the ground and curtsied elegantly towards Icarus. "Forgive my lateness. I...was not expecting someone of your stature to visit so soon..." she spoke quietly and kept her teeth clenched as she spoke. Her words were rehersed and her eyes never left the floor. Such was the manner of all the girls she spoke for.
Penny shrugged, "Buddy, if I knew where they were, do you think we'd be having this conversation in the front yard? Maybe one of the 'Le'ts fight' twins knows." he jerked his thumb back towards Kiel and Genesis who hadn't moved except towards each other. Jean frowned, "What was that thing? It made a lot of noise. And now it's made you sad."
Penny shrugged, "Best guess...girl stuff. That Giselle girl...she seemed pretty upset over a lot of stuff. Oooh, y'know what we should do? We should spy on them! C'mon...what if they're having pillow fights!" Elena nodded and took her leave. Outside Kaila's room, her eyes slitted and she chuckled, "Too easy..." Jean grabbed Giselle's hands and knelt in front of her, "If you want...I'm sure one of the other girls here or myself would be willing to ask him. Just to get you started."
Mayor's House Lucy shivered, "How long do you intend to believe that? Someday...he'll do something...bite someone close to you...or even you...and you'll hate him." Balmore Manor: library Valentine smiled, "I think you know very well. Before we were interrupted by the very rude child....I believe I was about to ravish you...in a less gentlemanly way."
Penny cheered and hopped around like a puppy, "Well atta boy! Damn, Summer Girls must be something special." He looked around guiltily, "Of course Schuyler's something special too. I haven't had someone scold me like that in years, yet...she still looked pretty damn attractive while doing it." Elena nodded and paced around the patch of sunlight on the floor...never in the light. "I see...well...you could find a man named Jesse and ask him to make it so you don't remember that night. Jesse takes a lot, enough to knock you out, but you won't have the urge to vomit the next morning." Touching a finger to her lips, she smiled, "Our secret, okay?" Jean frowned, "I'm not asking you to sleep with him. I'm sure if you ask, he'll show you. Well...actually don't quote me on that...I know Summer angels won't mind...Dark Court angels might be a little touchier."
Mayor's house Lucy huffed, "I made that myself....but thanks. Is it just because he's a Vampire....? I remember....my...my mother....she told me to run. It was winter...there was blood everywhere. I don't remember where it came from. All I know...is there was a Vampire there...and he took my mother away from me." Balmore manor Valentine cracked open a heavy door and found Cooke stretching up to the top shelf of a numerous shelved bookcase lined with millions of leather bound books. "The library. It's quiet...usually empty," he glared at Cooke and she dropped the cook book she was trying to replace and scurried from the room. "I thought I could get to know your taste in books and...other things."
yay. I'm incredibly happy you chose this weekend. My graduation party is later in the month of June and I've just had my wisdom teeth removed and the medication makes me sleepy. Oh yeah, so I know quite a bit about Azazel, but it's not very frightening of a power of cosmetics. lol XD
Penny sighed, "I figured as much...but I don't understand why. N-not the whole...I shouldn't pressure her...but I can't ask my friend how things went? I can't get a simple 'It was good Pen'. Women...." He fell silent for a while. "Do...erm...you think Schuyler's friend Giselle and her brother being here are making her edgey?" Elena stopped, when she turned around her face was solom. "I've heard as much. I didn't want to believe it. Sweetie, don't believe everything you hear about the hotel. I've been there a few times. If you simply stay out of the dark corners and by the right people, it's quite enjoyable." Jean rocked on her heels, "We'll that's nice of him. Say...Giselle...could you check something for me..and the other Summer Girls? Your protector Genesis Rhaphsodos...d-does he...actually have scars on his body that have things written in them?"
Mayor's House Lucy shrugged and pulled out a plastic covered plate of food from under her bed. "If you say so. Here...eat. Until he comes, will you let me show you a normal life? You know...humans taking care of you?" Balmore manor Valentine lifted Ceril up onto her feet again and shuffled her down the stairs. "If we're done here... Ceril and I have something to do." Leaving Suzaku on the stairs writhing in pain. Luin Nina growled, "We go and find the Lycan Hunters. Despite their rude manners, we should warn them that there are Pureblood Vampires around. They're trained to deal with werewolves, not vampires." The sun started to ascend and the plane took off, hosting dozens of werewolves connected to Nicholas and headed for the small town of Luin.
