Ren frowned and gripped his head, "It sounds....so familiar... Why would he do that? My Seraphim...Kyrios, a man that I've trusted since I was young...has been playing me for a fool? I...I love you?" A memory wiggled loose from the haze and flashed Kaila lying in his bed before his eyes. "You were in my bed? But I...shouldn't I remember something like that?" Irritation colored his voice and panic settled in his chest. If Kyrios had stolen his memories, what else had he taken from him? Kiel shrugged, "I suppose you're right. But I'm not very good at reading girls anyways..." Kiel lifted Tori's hand to his lips and brushed his lips across her knuckles gently, "I should have listened to you." Accompanying his words with a smile, Kiel leaned down to her, he wanted to kiss her but was uncertain how he would be recieved. Genesis nervously tucked his wing tightly against his back and knocked an arrow in her bow, "Aim for the tree beside Zadkiel. He's quick on his feet..he'll dodge if you miss it. Having something thick to aim at is better than starting with moving targets." He had to suppress the urge to back away. Closing his eyes, he took comfort in her quiet position. Instead of being like Schuyler and being noisy and talkative, she was quiet. He enjoyed her presence.
bank chambers Yeul strapped on her heels and smoothed her hair, "It's not as outdated as you think. I've tried to change the manner of thinking of the Vampire Council...but they insist on keeping things as they are. Things are ruled by Purebloods because...we came first....we have the power to rule." The Broken Antler Nick set aside the stick and sat across from her, finishing his beer. "It would have been different if you weren't so...appealing." He let the word roll off his tongue and smiled, "But of course...if you weren't, I'd probably still have lost. Girls like you don't show up very often. Especially girls that are...my kind and aren't secretly purging themselves in the bathroom after dinner." It seemed to become just his luck that there was something solid in between him and Annie. Be it the pool table, Vickie and now the table. Patience was a virtue that he didn't have. treehouse Valentine rested on her, touching his lips to hers occasionally. "I would give anything to have met you a few years earlier. If only it meant I didn't have to restrain myself now. Ceril...will you...allow me the simplest of pleasures?" He moved his hands down her waist and under her shirt.
Bank Chamber Yeul snarled and sat up, "Level E Vampires are savages! They're the reason we're hunted! You would rather populate the world with their kind than those that can control their instincts and set upon everyone another Blood Purge!?" The Broken Antler Nick twirled the stick in his hands. Carefully aiming at the eight ball, his mind kept flashing Annie bent over the table at him. The image excited him and he forgot to pull his strength and shot the ball off the table and across the room. Turning a bright pink, Nick leaned against the table, "My bad..." treehouse Valentine bent over her. He appreciated her body, and her personality made her able to get along well with him. "For your virtue...I'm sorry for this." Kissing her, Valentine restrained her hands and pushed her into the mattress.
Ren watched her tear herself away and flee from him. He couldn't understand why she was so sad. His head hurt. A pounding settled behind his eyes. "Why...why does her emotions affect me so? " Following after her, Ren stopped at the edge of the meadow by sheer chance and watched her cry, his eyes wide as the sky opened up and poured down on them. Assuming their Father shared the woman's pain, Ren felt devastation settle in his chest and staggered to her side. Grabbing her arm and hauling her to her feet, rain dripped from his hair into his eyes, "Why? Why do I feel this way? Why do I feel like this when I look at you?" Genesis dropped his sword and walked behind her, straightening her arm on the bow and pulling her other arm back with the string in her hand. "Don't let it intimidate you. Take a moment when you draw an arrow back and steady yourself. No one expects anything great out of you. The process of learning combat is a slower process and takes time and determination." Penny rubbed his neck and sighed, "And here I thought you wouldn't notice... I guess I am stupider than I thought. I'm not...myself when I'm jealous. Guys are hanging off you, even if it was a joke. I don't like the idea that I can make you mad enough that someone else could swoop in and steal you from me. I know...I'm a stupid, selfish jerk and I should just go away..."
Ren set his hands on her shoulders, trying to stop her, "Miss Camponella, please. What are you doing?" Jean shook her head, "No, I'm quite glad he left me... I'd rather belong only to you."
Bank Chambers Yeul scowled at the wall, "Without Purebloods, the vampires of this world that have fallen to Level E status would crawl out of their holes and eat the entire human populace. And those humans in turn would become Level E Vampires." The Broken Antler Nick nodded, dropping a quarter in Vickie's hand. "I'm quite offended you would think I would cheat. I'm honest to a fault." treehouse Valentine turned her head back to his and softly pressed his lips to hers, "If I cared what they all thought...don't you think I'd have killed myself a long time ago, rather than live in this dellusional state of mind? I simply don't want anyone to question our relationship. If I take you to bed now...it would appear that I've taken you because I marked you as mine by accident. True...it was an accident, but it was one I do not regret."
Bank Chambers Yeul glowered at him and rolled onto her side. "I don't like you...I could not feel the pulse of life within you. You do not have the capabilities to give me another Pureblooded son." The Broken Antler Nick shook his head at Annie's disappearing form and slid his eyes back to the bartender, "Your sister attracts a lot of attention of other men... Werewolves aren't known for sharing...or appreciating being claimed just like that. Say...Vickie, you wouldn't mind becoming my little helper in my efforts to claim your sister's heart, would you? All I need you to do is get her to admit her own feelings to herself. I think I've seen plenty enough to know how she feels." treehouse Valentine lifted his head, "Not at all. I will always hold a healthy respect for you. But it would be difficult to keep your honor untarnished in the Vampire Society."

Ren returned his sword to it's natural position as a bracelet. "I don't mean to sound overly egotistical, miss...but if I were attacked, I think I could manage without your help." Frowning, he returned to solid ground, taking Kaila's hand and taking her with him. "I have an odd feeling...about you. I can't tell whether it means your trouble or something good for me. I'm confused..." Genesis nodded, taking the arrow back to Giselle. He stood before her, "It seems you're better at aiming at me. I want you to try harder than you have with Tori, Giselle." Taking a few steps backwards, he held his sword out away from him, "We'll start simple. Can you hit my sword with an arrow?" Jean shuffled her feet, "I don't know... Keenan has rejected me as his Summer Girl so...I don't have a place to go home to...besides the Summer den...and there's always Dark Court angels there...they frighten me." Penny lurched at her, feinting left and reaching under the staff, grabbing a handful of her clothes and pulled her in close. "I'd rather not hit on you unless it's in a romantic gesture."
The Broken Antler While Annie was at the bar, Nick raked his hands through his hair and glanced down at Vickie, "Dating your sister peacefully is going to be difficult to manage." Leaning over the table, he lined up an even shot and sunk the last few striped balls. "Very difficult indeed.." Sitting on the edge of the table, Nick watched Annie. treehouse Shaking his head, Valentine dislodged himself from his position beside Ceril. "No...as my bride I should respect you and that becomes harder if I claim you right after I've made you mine. It's not like...I don't want to..but I don't want to say I made you mine the day we met." Pulling her into a sitting position, he knelt before her, "There's only one thing I want right now..." Trailing a warm line of kisses from her neck to her jawline, Valentine allowed himself to explore what he could of her.
Raina chuckled, "Don't be frustrated, dear warrior. Never mind Alice, the Keyblade Master. Ryuu of the Ice is who you want to follow."
Ren turned in her direction, his eyes bright for once, but not clear of the cloud of Kyrios' influence. "Miss Camponella, what are you doing out here? It's dangerous. The sea..." he wedged open the fish's mouth, "Is not..." tearing his sword forwards through the top of the fish's head, he watched it fall back into the sea, "Calm." Genesis deflected the arrow, his blue eyes warm, "I'm alright. Giselle..." he felt the need to say something, anything to the girl, but nothing came out of his mouth.
the Broken Antler Nick nearly dropped the chalk he was holding at Annie's taunt. He didn't believe she could get any more attractive at the moment. The waitress brought him his beer and he took a long swig before knocking another striped ball into a far pocket and scattering several others. "I don't think it matters what the word is, I've put myself in a rather...tight position." treehouse Sliding his hand from her chest down to her hip, he leaned closer to her, touching his lips to her cheek, "I apologize. After all, I am a man of more than just desires."
Ren touched a hand to his temple and frowned, returning his sword to his dominant hand, "You're boring." he commented dryly and launched himself off the cliff towards the fish. His sword created sparks as he drew it along the fish's scales. It rounded on him, teeth gnashing together and Ren shoved his sword into it's mouth and through the roof of his mouth, through it's head. Still the fish closed it's mouth, serrated teeth piercing into his arm. Wings flailing, Ren jabbed the toe of his boot into it's eye. Jean looked up at him, bewildered as to what she should ask him to do. Penny tensed, "Yeah...let's do this."
The Broken Antler Nick ruffled Vickie's hair and positioned himself carefully aiming for the bottom of the cue ball. Ahead lie a solid and behind it two stripes just begging to be knocked into the pocket. He refused to allow himself to glance up at Annie. Striking the ball, making it bounce over the solid and click into the other two, it followed them into the pocket. Nick grimaced, "Rats..." treehouse Valentine landed on his side, leaning over Ceril. She was right, her bed wasn't big enough to accomodate two. Awkwardly trying to stay on the bed, he steadied himself with one hand placed on a rather warm portion. His eyes widened when he realized he was holding her breast. His mouth worked but no words came out.
Landing softly at the edge of the cliff, Ren stared at the rolling waves of the sea. Shifting his sword to his left hand, he lifted his right to the sky and up with his hand a ball of water emerged from the ocean. Letting the water fall away, a large fish with razor teeth and sharp scales hung suspended in the air. Snapping his fingers, Ren called down a bolt of lightning, striking the fish....and rolling off it's scales, dispursing the energy in the air around it. It seemed to laugh at him, making odd 'raw raw raw' noises. Jean hung her head, "I'm sorry..." Kiel waved to them before Jean spoke and left to head off Genesis. Gabriel stood back and Penny twirled the staff around in his hand. "Great...this should be lots of fun."
The Broken Antler Nick eased her to the floor and took her small hands in his, "You're only learning. Every pool player messes up a few times. If you don't, I wouldn't be able to call them players. Here," he handed her the coke, trading her for the pool cue and waved to the waitress to fetch him a beer. "You drink that Coke before I do and I'll cover for ya." treehouse Shrugging, Valentine spoke casually as if it were no big deal, "It's the easiest way to garrantee yourself a Pureblood child, even if you yourself aren't. The human male sperm only serves as a stimulator to get the process going. Female vampires feed twice as much and the child is born with their mother's exact features. It's like making a carbon copy of yourself and calling it your child. Of course those children aren't granted immortality. The only thing they take from their father is his mortal lifespan. They become nothing more than leeches....and Vampire Hunters take them out without a second glance at their profile."
