Jacob looked quickly away from the oncoming fight. Despite his want to join the great war between vampires and werewolves he wasn't very fond of loud shouting matches.
"Hey!" Ocean exclaimed from a few feet away. Obviously very insulted at how she didn't even get a look in. "I got pretty much straight Os in all my subjects! I can't be that bad of a witch!" Hermia looked over at the complaining blonde and shook her head. A look of what can only be described as wolfish amusement on her face.
"You can't just expect everything to be perfect after disappearing off the face of the earth for the best part of a decade." Jacob shrugged. "Relationships need work." "Yeah, you ran off on her for a while; remember?" Ocean said rolling her eyes as her father read the paper. Once he'd read the information in the paper, that she already knew from River himself, and bellowed out at his son she winced. "So much for it being a secret..." She muttered shaking her head to stop the ringing in her ears.
OOC- Okay. Hermia was laying down on a patch of grass in the middle of the camp-grounds. Since the possession had become more strong and more noticeable she'd spent most of her time as a wolf. It just seemed like the logical idea, because obviously a battle could start at any moment and she was fed up of tearing her decent clothes up just because she didn't have enough time, or privacy, to change. "Don't feel left out Lyra." Lake sighed from her seat on the ground. "I wasn't told until I actually noticed something was different."
"I think the two of you just need some time together to get closer again. I mean there's that, and she's probably spent the last few years trying to numb her feelings for you because she didn't think you were ever coming back." Jacob said. "Maybe you two should go out on a date, or spend the night in or something." "Seems to cause nothing but trouble from what I've seen..." "You're welcome kiddo." He chuckled.
OOC- It's up to you. Hermia laughed weakly, personally she didn't really see the funny side of someone possibly ripping their relatives apart because they're possessed by some long dead shapeshifter.
"Imprinting doesn't make everything perfect all the time though. You still need to work a little bit at it, and from what you told me about that... procedure your feelings are probably different now. Obviously not gone, but different. if you get what I mean." "I hate the idea of imprinting sometimes..." "Good luck ."
"I guess so, but if you go all primal instinct on us that could end really badly with the amount of vampires and half vampires and such..."
"Well, I'm not exactly a relationship expert, what with being thirteen and all." Jacob chuckled. "But it just sounds like you two have grown apart. She doesn't really know how you are now, and you don't really know how she is now." "It can't have screwed up on both of them though, right?" "I guess we'll just have to wait and see."
Casey stroked her back soothingly as she growled. Trying his best to keep her from snapping.
"I know... But we don't know what you'll end up acting like once it takes a hold..." She said, looking up at him. Her eyes glistening with anxiety and worry.
"What do you mean?" Jacob asked, tilting his head slightly like a curious puppy. "You don't sound so sure Dad... I thought imprinting was meant to be forever because they're a perfect match..." "Gryffindor I expect, seems to be what everyone else around here is." Casey chuckled.
Elle followed behind him, but not too closely. They still hadn't told anyone about their relationship, and considering the circumstances it wasn't going to be happening at any point soon.
Subconsciously Hermia grabbed onto River's hand, she knew this wasn't going to end well.
"You sure? I mean it isn't exactly looking great for them right now..." Ocean said, obviously rather worried for her brother's relationship. "So, what house do you think you'll be in?" Casey asked. "No, I don't think there's any other adult werewolves." Jacob said shaking his head. "That reminds me; what's happening there?"
"Yeah." Elle nodded, shivering slightly.
"Well, how long until the take over is complete...?" Hermia asked, anxious to know just how long she could expect the real River to hang around for.
"Can't say I blame her." Ocean sighed. "Good." Casey chuckled. "Sounds like you're all ready to go." Jacob grinned. "I think your Dad's here." He said looking over at the house.
"I'd like to see them try." Elle said. "I'm not taking any kids picking on her or any adult being ******y to her, ever."
"Well... That certainly doesn't sound good..." She said quietly, a hundred possible different outcomes flooding through her mind. "How long would it last...? And is there anyway to stop it...?"
