"Sounds a little too perfect to me." Conni said, raising an eyebrow. Casey shrugged. "It's the truth."
"Or just a change in style." Lake suggested. "That way you don't have to cut it that much."
"It's better she stands up for herself then her being depressed all the time about being picked on or whatever." Elle shrugged. "Of course." He chuckled, leaning down and kissing her forehead gently.
Casey blushed slightly and shook his head. "No, we're just friends. And we have been a while, more like siblings I guess." He explained. "Bullsh*t." Conni giggled.
"Well, that might be a bit extreme. Just get a hair cut and that'd work I expect." Hermia said quickly, she was more then just a bit fond of his hair colour.
"And it's your fault for having such adorable babies." He chuckled. "I get enough from kids at my pre-school, I ain't taking it from you too." She glowered, folding her arms defiantly.
"I guess if you get to see him you'll realise how close it is..." She said quietly. "I guess so." Casey said, ruffling his hair again.
"It might only be a question of time before they realise how wrong they are though, and let's face it you're not exactly brilliant at keeping a low profile." Lake sighed.
"I can't help it." Casey chuckled. "I'm the paternal type." "Oh you're horrid." Elle laughed slightly. "Oi!" Jamei said, glaring darkly at Jordan before kicking him in the shin. "Nothin' wrong with being ginger!"
Casey, knowing what his uncle had been like at this point in time, couldn't help but look a little insulted and shocked. He'd never thought he looked anything like Scorpious, apparently he'd been very very wrong. "Well, genetics can do odd things like that I guess."
"If you survived there's every chance they did. And now they're going to be p*ssed off as hell." Hermia said, brushing her hair behind her ear.
"Considering your sister is ginger you're awfully horrid about the idea of your niece being ginger." She giggled sightly. "She's called Imogen." Casey said, looking down at the baby. "Though I've taken to calling her Immy now." He added with a chuckle.
"I'm pretty certain we're not related." Casey chuckled. "We'd definitely know if that was the case."
"You really need to keep away from those people River..." Lake sighed.
"Believe or not both of you looked a lot like this when you were her age." Casey chuckled. "Looks like you got your prayer." Elle said quietly to Jordan. "It's a little blonde one."
She shook her head and hugged her knees. "You lot have faces that we'd recognise." Conni said. "Maybe we just passed under the radar, that sort of thing does happen."
Hermia slowly removed her grip on him and nodded in agreement with Elena. "Are you okay? What happened?" Lake asked, still hugging her son tightly.
"Good." Casey chuckled before looking down at his eldest daughter. "Sure thing kiddo." He said removing his arm from around Lyra and looking into a cot by the bed. Carefully he picked up the tiny bundle of baby and cradled it in his arms. "Just don't touch her, just in case. She's asleep."
Casey shrugged. "I guess we just sort of fade into the background." He said, taking the letter. He didn't believe they'd actually received the letters, and with their pseudonyms on them as well. Conni quickly followed Lily over and sat down next to her.
Lake rushed over to her son and also flung her arms around him. "Scare isn't even the start of it." She said.
