I haven't written any KOTOR fanfics of my own (yet!). I've been entertaining an idea of how to rewrite the events between KOTOR 2 and the end of...
Welcome to the site! I'm pretty new here too. I approve of the music, particularly Muse they are an awesome band. For something Metal but a little different maybe try Blind Guardian? They've got a pretty unique but awesome sound so I'd heartily recommend giving them a look for something a little different to the norm.
You talked about KOTOR AND TOR on a podcast without me? D: I'm offended! Nah, it's okay I'm kidding. But I may have to listen to that because that...
I don't see myself as being defensive but rather just curious about your reasoning. I don't know, I guess we just define defensiveness differently. Maybe it's my profile pic being a Sith Lord that makes me seem more suspicious. It's a bad first impression to give I suppose XD
Dale considered her words carefully. A white hand pale as snow knocking on the window? Well then... That was new. There was always something new in this line of work. Kept it interesting he supposed, although it could be a right pain in the ass when you had to waste time trying to figure out how to deal with it. At times like that he wished for a simple giant spider. They were so much easier. You just had to hit them until they died. "I see... Interesting. Thank you, I'll keep an eye out for that." Dale said carefully. Calxiyn at least was performing well. Enthusiastic, receptive to orders so far and well, got the right information. That at least, was a start. She might wind up being a good member one day. The rest remained to be seen for the moment. Before he could answer anything else, Kiyomi appeared. He remembered her coming in to tell them about this job. He mentally steeled himself. She could be work sometimes. Nevertheless, Dale put on his best smile and attempted to work with her. "Yes Kiyomi I remember. Now, tell me, what's going on exactly? And where?" He asked.
You've piqued my curiosity further. What does my reaction seem to tell you now? And what makes you think that?
Mish what is it about me that makes you think I'm Mafia?[DOUBLEPOST=1415571843][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually add what makes you think Beau and Hyuge are Mafia to that while you're at it. I'd like to know.
That seems to make sense to me, so I shall now unvote you. ##Unvote: The Fuk? And now... What to do. It's not necessary as far as I'm concerned to add to the train on Beau because we've already got the numbers for a Soft Lynch I don't need to add my vote on to that train. As Makaze has pointed out, we are still waiting on Spike to post and give us something so in light of that, I'll give him a bit of incentive to post. I must admit, I'd rather see Spike get the lynch because Beau has posted more, if only by one. It's entirely possible that the situation changes and he starts posting again soon, but still I'd rather do that. Also apparently Beau is getting Day 1 killed (nearly) for the second time and that seems kinda harsh XD ##Vote: Spike Can we see anything at all from you? Whether it be an opinion, a vote (with a reason preferably), suspicions, whatever it might be. We need active people as Mak has pointed out. I'm putting the vote here to try and encourage you and give the others a head start in case we need to do a quick vote switch before the day ends.
I did indeed read Revan I have it proudly on my shelf. I saw it and I was like "There's a book about Revan give me right now" XD. I must say, I...
Thanks for all the welcomes guys! Hope to see you all around!
Ahh, you should try it. It's been quite interesting so far just because of the little dialogue changes. I'm looking forward to getting to the new...
Evtheven Cathedral Alessia remained silent while they all discussed. This mission seemed so easy before, but now... This was something else. A child was dead. Dead, waiting for a father that never came. And now... He was back from the dead playing the same game he died playing and was possessing other kids to do it. What sort of world was this? How could these things be allowed to happen? She clenched her fist, her face grave. Ander was taking charge with questioning the pastor here that was for sure, but nobody was paying much attention to Leon. Could he be part of the key? If he died... Then came back... Maybe he would know where his body was! Or what was left of it... But Leon wouldn't respond to anyone else. In fact, he only seemed to acknowledge that Ren existed. So... "Ren can you ask Leon to take us to where he died?" Alessia asked, breaking her silence. "You're the only person he's noticed." Child's Play Siuan was very stressed from the sounds of it. And maybe it was because there were so many wizards. Had it been just him, he was sure she would have been just fine. She was generally alright with him. Zarine was more talkative of the two sisters in law, but that was another matter. Right now, events had been bad enough to put Siuan and Zarine on edge and he planned to deal with it. Not that he wouldn't have had it been anyone else, merely that the matter was personal. He didn't need the warning about not mentioning Elayne's father around Siuan, although the others might have if they noticed that Elayne and her didn't exactly look alike. Well, they knew now. Elayne looked the same as ever. A little taller than when he last saw her, but that was normal for her age. They all grew up so fast. He smiled at her as he came in. He noticed the doll. How cute. Children were adorable at this age. So bright and bubbly and full of energy. She never failed to make him smile. "Hello Elayne." He said enthusiastically, shaking the doll's hand. "These are my guildmates here. We're here to take a look around." Satoya High School "I am the one in charge Miss Mikami." Dale stated, stepping into the conversation at last. They had been given enough free rein for now, it was time for them to be leashed again and follow his order and be as he dictated. Besides, he had to make it clear they answered to him above all others, and that this Mikami should answer to him too. "These guild members are new, but quite capable in their magic. I have allowed them to speak and observe how they handle themselves in the field, but I will be taking some more direct control of this team now. To start with, how do you plan to raise attention to the fact that we are available to speak to if required? Furthermore, is there anything about your situation that you wish to add yourselves. You brought us here, so presumerably there are some things you can tell us now aren't there?" It was time to get some facts out of Miss Mikami, and then the students would be next. While he waited for her to reply he started formulating a plan in his head. If a student came in, or indeed anyone... Then the best course of action was to send out one guild member to investigate their incident and he remain here to serve as a base of operations. They could all then report back. Seemed reasonable.
Oops I totally forgot about that. Thanks for reminding me. Won't make that mistake again. ##Vote: The Fuk?
Sorry I'm late but happy birthday Armaury! Better late than never right? XDD
Can you give us any reasons why you're going for Mish? Until you've given some reasoning: ##Vote The Fuk? If you don't have any suspicions, then is there anybody you'd like to hear more opinions from? Or hear from at all for that matter? I feel as if you must have at least some thoughts on the game at this stage, or even decided whether there's anyone you're interested in pressuring. You may not work quite like everyone else, but it looks like for the most part people are throwing votes out and getting reactions/reacting to things, so why aren't you?
Hey Misty, have you ever played KOTOR 2 with the Content Restored Mod that they made? I've just started the game (again) with it on, now including...
Ugh, sorry about that guys I had a party. Nevertheless, I'm here now. Explaining my reasoning. I never stated that there was value in voting you in particular. The point I was trying to allude to was this: Putting a lynch vote down and applying pressure can get a reaction out of people so you can learn a bit about players and how they act. That's what I was referencing rather than anything else. I worded that really, really badly I realise. It wasn't meant to be a slight towards you. At any rate, there's your explanation. Also, before assuming I'm intentionally not answering you, try to take real life into account please. Hyuge perfectly says what I was trying to suggest with my post, although they said it WAY better than I did.
I can see the value in voting Tale and it's of little consequence at this stage of the game. I've been debating it, so I'll apply a little more pressure to Tale although I don't think any more is necessary. Three is probably more than enough as it is. ##Vote: tale_wind[DOUBLEPOST=1415436865][/DOUBLEPOST]Apologies for the double post but something else just sprung to mind. What do you think about playing around the Hated role? Bearing in mind that we will have no idea whether they are the role or not until they're lynched it might be worth a consideration. We're not exactly near the cycle's end, but I think it's worth noting.
I've been posting 'round here for a little while now so I should probably introduce myself XDD *clears throat* Harr there maties I be- No, not pirate. That's not right. All jokes aside XD Hello everybody I am al215 (but you can call me Al, Alex or anything else that takes your fancy (Not rude I hope!)) and I'm 16 (Almost 17!) years old, although I like to think that my mental age is a little older XD I'm in what folks in the UK would call Sixth Form and I've got no idea what the rest of the world calls that, so go figure because I've got no idea myself. I'm studying Ancient History, Computing, Psychology and Spanish if anyone is curious (for whatever reason XD). Moving on (you're going to get bored if I type any more about my life XD) I'm a gamer and an occasional writer (by that I mean- Tries to write, but can never finish projects). I read, I listen to music and generally exist. I'm a roleplayer (Fairly average one) and I love stuff like D&D, so you'll probably find me hanging around your roleplaying arena doing my thing. I've also got an interest in general affairs so, you'll probably see my around the discussion thread too because I like discussing a subject and throwing my thoughts out there on a topic. I also occasionally cycle, swim and try to get to the gym from time to time. A little more on stuff I really like (That isn't KH 'cause that's a given XD): Games: Jedi Knight series (brilliant Star Wars games) Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 (Those games are just like, the best I love them. Yes my profile pic is a screenshot of Darth Revan from KOTOR. Favourite character in Star Wars (Curse you SW:TOR you ruined it!)) XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within (And the classics too!) The Elder Scrolls (Oblivion is the personal favourite there) Dishono(u)red (Not loved enough but that game was fantastic) Warhammer 40'000 Dawn of War series (I play the tabletop game too- Praise the Emperor!) Civilization (Gotta love making your own empire and nuking knights in the 17th Century right?) The Witcher 2 (Such a good game. Great story) Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (Finally an LOTR game I like!) Music: Soundtracks, particularly the TES soundtracks and pretty much every Star Wars soundtrack ever. You can add the Death Note soundtrack too, and throw in the Attack on Titan one for good measure (Seid ihr das essen? Nein wir sind die Jaeger!) Metal of various different sorts. Power metal bands like Sabaton and Blind Guardian (Probably favourite band in general), Iced Earth (Thrash?) and a bit of Amon Amarth (Not quite screaming, more like grunting- I think it's Death Metal XD) Rock as might be expected. Muse is probably my favourite there Musicals sometimes, particularly the War of the Worlds musical Anything else that I randomly come across that I happen to take a liking to (I'm pretty open about trying music) Books: Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time (Got into this one very recently, like, 2 months ago. It's 14 books long making it the longest series that I've read through and I'm on my first run through of it, currently at Book 11) A Song of Ice and Fire (Or Game of Thrones for all you show watchers XD Enjoying both the books and the show. Come on already with The Winds of Winter George!) The Lord of the Rings (Fantasy classic) Discworld (I love Terry Pratchett his writing is hilarious) And once again, anything else that I come across that looks interesting. Getting started on The Belgariad by David Eddings soon and I'll probably be investigated more Arthur C. Clarke and Alan Dean Foster sooner or later. Other stuff: Absung the XD face (XD) Now that you've braved the list of my likes, I'm not going to bore you with my dislikes because that's pretty pointless. So, I guess that leaves one thing: Why did I join? That's because I was introduced to the website as a friend from another Forum who found this site and well, it seemed to be a pretty good place to go so I'm kind of migrating now XD All in all, looking forward to settling into the community and talking more to you guys. Okay, that's it. I'm done now XD See you all on the forum guys!~
While she might be rather conservative (for many people's liking including my own. It would be nice to have someone more liberal), from what I can tell it's at least good that someone 18 years old is actually getting somewhere within politics. It's been said already, but the point still goes. It's not necessarily a bad thing to have someone of a younger generation in a fairly significant position like that. It's another sign that times are changing and new ideas and ways of thinking may start coming in. I'd like to think that this could be the start of a new trend and I hope it is, because having younger people in politics might allow governments to actually understand the current generations. I think that in many ways, the older generations are disconnected with the newer generations and while this isn't a drastically high position like a senator, it perhaps opens the way for younger people to enter the higher posts. It might change the way things are viewed by the government and cause a little more empathy towards younger people. That I believe, carries a lot of potential for the future.
