OOC: I'll post a picture of Teresa sometime. Xardius turned. "Teresa?" Teresa ran up, her long red hair blowing in the wind. "Rune's up there. Be careful." Xardius look astonished. "You remember me?" Teresa nodded. "I remember everything...come back this time." Xardius nodded slowly. "I'll come back...to you...now...or later..." He then turned and ran off. "Come on Xane!" *** "You ready?" Sora asked. "Let's put a bite on those energy attacks! TRINITY!" Three keyblades swept up and light rushed upward, combining with Xegreny's energy and slamming into the SWoC with the power of a nuclear bomb. The face literally exploded, and the clouds cleared... Showing the rest of the body, which nearly covered the sky. "That's one down!" Sora howled in triumph. "It's not over yet!" Riku grunted. "Division 1 Attack!" Kairi yelled. OOC: I might have to go in a few. So let's hurry.
"Depends on how long we can last against Scourge," Xardius said. "With just the two of us...Hmph, let's go." He began trotting off towards the mountain. "You want to go back, don't you?" "Wait, Darius!" a female voice called.
OOC: Squall LEONHART...very slight spelling difference. The keyblade masters are...let's see...six or seven years older...so about 22, 23. Kids in a way...kind of... I'm sure they won't mind you calling them kiddies. BIC: "Great job, Xegreny!" Kairi said, clapping. "Sora," Riku said, pointing. Sora nodded. "I see it." Dark clouds billowed from a cloudless sky...and suddenly from the midst of the vortex of swirling clouds, a massive hideous face emerged. Jagged teeth, yellow eyes, bulging veins... "A Supreme World of Chaos," Sora said. "Just what we need. Xegreny, it ain't over yet...Not if you want to save this world. Because that thing...is going to eat it." The face roared and charged downwards, straight at the keyblade users. In a flash, Riku's key was out and one-handed, rebounded the face back upwards into the air. "Let's do this," he said, pointing his Way to the Dawn at the snarling face. *** Xardius looked back at Xane. "Hmmmm...Maybe not. We'll go to the other one." "Wait, excuse me," the guard said. "You're a warrior, right? Well, we have this problem..." "Okay, scratch that," Xardius said to Xane. "We have exactly half an hour before...you know." "Could you go look into it?" the guard said, pointing at a nearby mountain. "The clouds have been congregating there..."
OOC: You want it, you'll get it...Don't worry. Just kill these Heartless. Xane's in it because it's no fun doing a character side plot without someone else...:) BIC: Sora chuckled. Riku grunted. Kairi giggled. *** Xardius apologized again and then led Xane and his horse across a long trek to a small town on the edge of the desert. Knocking on the door, Xardius waited. A guard popped his head out. "Excuse me, can I help you?" "Yes, I'd like shelter for the night," Xardius said. "Your name?" "Darius Lionheart," Xardius said, using his old name. "Tell Captain Teresa Williams I'd like to talk with her." "You know the Captain?" the guard asked. "Funny, I would think I'd recognize you. You can come in." The guard opened the door, and Xardius walked through. "Come on, Xane, I know a place with lots of women and plenty of food."
OOC: Believe it or not, this has nothing to do with the Brotherhood. This is a "Xardius" side plot. BIC: "As I said, I apologize...I wasn't...thinking clearly," Xardius said. "If I remember, we'll appear in Twilight Town between three weeks and three hours from now." He sighed again. "I'm guessing it will be closer to a day or less, considering when we jumped into the portal...Come on, I'll take you to Arcadia." *** Sora stared at Xegreny. "The Energetic Bolt is asking for help? What happened to your self-confidence?" Kairi tut-tutted at him (lol, tut-tut, ahem, anyway), and Riku sighed, then spoke, "Take care of them yourself. Remember just how powerful you really are." The captain of the knights nodded, then smiled. "But we'll cover you just in case."
"The Chaotic Desert...a while ago..." Xardius said, wiping his eyes. "A long time ago...actually...nearly 100 years ago..." Slowly, he stood up. "We're in a sectioned time loop that is cut off from the rest of the worlds. No one can interfere because it happened before...everything. Not even Kingdom Hearts would have the power to stop the gateway opening up." He turned to Xane. "I've been using this portal for the last millennium or so...to travel back in time...For two reasons." He sighed and closed his eyes. "Sorry I dragged you into this. But this is the beginning of the end. This is where Scourge was born. The Chaotic Worlds was broken and shattered by his power...and I've been trying to stop him." He opened his fiery blue eyes. "I haven't been able to yet. And every time...she dies. My first reason." "Teresa Williams."
The trip was over as quickly as it started. Booted feet hit desert sand, and Xardius stood peering over a wasteland as the portal closed behind them. "I...made it..." Xardius whispered, and threw back his head and laughed, then fell to his knees and brought his hands up to his face as his laughter turned to sobbing.
Disney Castle had definitely been scathed by the Tul Raijin take-over, but when Xardius arrived, things changed from bad to worse. The inferno that erupted before Xardius ripped the castle to shreds, turning it into liquid metal and flashing into gas, solidifying and raining superheated metal blocks over the nearby town. But that's not what Xardius cared about. Still dragging a protesting Xane, he stepped forward, and faced the massive portal that stood where a wall of the Hall of the Cornerstone had once been. "The portal to...you," Xardius whispered, and leaped through...still taking Xane and his horse.
"N-no time," Xardius cried, pounding the ground with his fist. "We gotta get there! AAAAAAH!" Suddenly fire jetted out of Xardius' back and he cried out in pain. The fire flashed into huge red wings, and Xardius gritted his teeth...and smiled, though his eyes told the true story of how painful this was. "Come," Xardius growled, grabbed Xane, and stepped forward, his wings slamming downwards and the two, Xane still on his horse, ripping off into interstellar space...
"We have to get to Disney Castle, NOW!" Xardius yelled, twisting back to Xane, his face contorted with anguish.
"Yeah, well, at least we know they're all...here...huh?" Xardius twisted to look behind him. "No way...It's already that time...?"
"Not really, but...whatever..." Xardius said, turning back to the Heartless now pouring towards him. "Eat power!" Three strikes and the world imploded in light, and the Heartless were gone. "Hmph," Xardius said, pointing a sword at the now frozen RMDA members. "You punks still want to play?" The members gulped, turned and sprinted away. Darius sheathed his swords with an air of haughtiness. "Now I'm ready to go with you," Xardius said. "I don't feel like asking the CG for help again, so let's do this ourselves." *** Meanwhile, Sora's keyblade flashed out of existence as the last Heartless dissipated into darkness. "That's the last of 'em," Sora said, grinning. "Good work Division 1." The Division 1 Enigmatic Knights nodded and saluted. Sora turned to Riku and Kairi. "Seems we've caught their attention..." "One Heartless is nothing," Riku said. "We're going to have to better than that." Sora grinned. "Hey, it's me!" Riku sighed, and Kairi shook her head as Sora began punching the air, and whistling a victory tune.
OOC: They're Darius' original swords...empowered with the strength of dragons. He took down a million Heartless in a single blow with these the last time he used them...that's why he sealed them away. Too powerful. But he's kind of on edge right now. BIC: "Xane! Where the heck do you think you're going?" Xardius yelled. "We got a whole Heartless army to deal with! And these nose-pickers over here!"
OOC: Man, just missed her! BIC: Xardius was in a foul mood. He studied the object Sora had given him, then pocketed it, and stood up. "I summon you, guardians of the underworld gates, Dueling Dragons!" he roared, holding out both hands. Power surged around his hands and coalesced into two medium length swords with thick blades and dragons emblazoned into the handles in gold. Sword in each hand, Xardius stepped forward. "These are the punks who tried to mess up your life, Xegreny? Then I'll unleash upon them holy hell!"
OOC: Gotta go in a few. Last post. BIC: Xardius sighed. "Maybe I'll tell you later...Let's focus on getting Shadow...and I think she has Vexneah."
Riku stared at Bellatrix, for a moment, before turning to look out the window. Sora looked back at him. "Riku? Can you sense her?" Riku closed his eyes. "Yeah. She's 3 miles east, 2 miles north." Sora looked back at the UO members. "There you have it. Anything else?" Xardius nodded. "There is one thing. Can I have...?" "Oh, sure," Sora said. He tossed him a small item. "There you go." Xardius nodded again, and turned. "Thanks. We'll keep in touch." "Keep safe," Kairi said. "Even we can't stop everything." Xardius twisted, and grinned. "Leave the Brotherhood to me..." Riku hmphed, Sora grinned, and Kairi smiled. "Now, Xardius," Sora said. "Be careful, or I'll have to consider you one of u..." "Be quiet," Xardius growled, turning and stalking off with Sora's laughter following him.
Xardius shrugged. "Yeah. Hey, guys, can I see the President?" The guard shrugged back. "Go ahead. He's not too busy right now, though he is with some 'old friends.'" Xardius nodded. "Good, I wanted to talk to them too." He opened the door and held it open for the others, then shut the door behind them. Sitting in a rather large chair, cerulean eyes, brown hair, sat Sora. "Glad you could make it," Sora said, a smile splitting his face. The man on his left nodded. Silver hair, sky blue eyes...Riku. Long red hair, another set of blue eyes...Kairi. "It's good to meet you all. We are the Keyblade Masters." "Sora, Riku, Kairi," Sora said, motioning to the others. "What can we do for you?"
Xardius walked nodded and led the others to the building and up to the 11th floor. Two guards stood there. "Oh, hello again, Xardius," one of them said, tipping their hat. "Ms. Bellatrix, others, how are you?"
OOC: Oh, someone's on! Yayz! BIC: "Hmph, if it was up to me, I'd go after Shadow, but..." He shrugged. "I don't know where she is, and to track her down would take ages. Or we could just ask the CG where she is. I'm sure they have tabs on her." He pointed at a tall building. "That one, 11th floor. That's where they are."
OOC: Sorry, I got database errors when I tried to get on yesterday. BIC: Xardius sighed, and stared at a rooftop. "Hmph, don't think you'll get away with whatever you're planning..." He turned to the others. "We could go take out those Heartless. Or we could go rendezvous with the CG leader. He's here."
