Xardius meanwhile, was playing tic-tac-toe...and losing to himself. (Don't ask how.) "Ah, crap," he muttered, then looked up when Xegreny dropped down. "Er, it's not me," Xardius said. "Hey, I'm heading over there. I wanna have a nice fight..." Walking to the back of the ship, he saw Xane and saluted to him. "Oh, yeah, and I'm invincible because...well...I don't have anything tying me down! No worries!" With a wave, he hopped off the back of the boat, grabbed some seaweed off the Flying Dutchman, and disappeared into one of the cannon holes.
OOC: Ho hum...Well, this is exciting...
Xardius shrugged. "Ask Tera Roth the next time you see him, he'll more than likely know." OOC: And yes, Tera Roth was about 16 at the time. I gotta remember Xadrk...the others will have to be, uh, created later. Unless more people remember. Anyways, I'll see you later. I have a dinner to go to in about two hours, so if you're back before then, post forward a little more. See you!
OOC: I only read the one and stopped myself from going further, XD, so I don't know what's coming. BIC: Xardius grabbed another piece of wood and grabbed a nail from the side, hesitating for a moment before responding. "Organization XIV, huh. Those guys...those were the guys I thought had a chance. But..." He chuckled morosely. "Well, you know how it goes...They might have...but Organization XIII ruined people's opinions about Nobodies. The Enigmatic Knights, under the direction of Generals Dragoon and Jaxed, were ordered to terminate the order. I was to come in as an elite support unit, as even then I was treated as a Guardian." "Tera Roth could tell you more about the actual battle," he continued. "I'm sure he regrets it now, and maybe he did then, but he and a small crack-team infiltrated their headquarters at the time the rest of the Knights launched their major offensive, and nearly single-handedly wiped out the main backbone of Organization XIV." Xardius sighed and grabbed another nail. "Why do you ask?" OOC: And yes, that is going to be a major part of Obsidian Sky, which is going through its final edit right now.
OOC: I did? Maybe subconsciously....I have been taking tips from Kurogane lately. And I really can't wait for the next novel! (I read a summary of the Japanese novels for the latest one, and so I've known what was going to happen to Fai and Syaoran for a long time...) BIC: Xardius nodded. "Highwind's recovered from his darkness completely. Now he's back to normal...except for his complex with the fact that he slaughtered a bunch of people." He shrugged. "I wouldn't be surprised if he's popping in to just check up on us...in his own way. After all, it's not like he can show he cares by asking about us. He'd more than likely show off some moves and attempt to beat the crap out of us to show he cares about us." Xardius shook his head. "How about you? How are you holding up?" (Xardius is stubbornly pounding a deck board back in place.)
"Bah," Xardius said, smacking his hand with the hammer and bending it. "Need a new hammer." He started pounding the nails in with his hand. "Never mind."
OOC: Like, say another, giant, bigger Kraken, that Xardius can kill? Heh heh heh... BIC: Xardius tapped Davy Jones and the U.P.A. member on the shoulder. "I don't believe we've met. Allow me to introduce myself. The name's Xardius, and I do believe you were picking on my comrades while I was tied up elsewhere. As such, you can understand my reaction upon seeing your ugly mug land on a half-ruined ship that I was currently trying to interrogate your superior aboard of. So...off you go!" And with that, he cracked both Jones and the U.P.A. mutt off the boat with one swing. "That felt good," Xardius said. "All right, I'm done. If you need me to fight some giant monster thing, I'll be over here." He wandered over to where the Kraken had mashed the ship and began trying to piece it back together using brute strength, a hammer, and some nails.
OOC: Well, since no one else is here, I'm off to play Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 3 (or 2, depending). See ya!
Highwind smiled. "Maybe we'll finish this some other time...My time is up..." And he exploded into darkness.
But Highwind's sword rested neatly underneath Geryl's chin.
Highwind snapped his fingers and a thousand needles ripped down towards Geryl's body from every direction.
Highwind's body dissolved into shadow before the slices connected, and he picked up the sword he'd just hit. Black covered it. "No more reflection," Highwind smiled, walking forward and touching more of the swords, turning their reflecting blades to coal black.
Highwind grunted behind Geryl, his sword flashing down on him.
Highwind saluted Geryl with his sword, and then abruptly was six inches from Geryl, his sword point centimeters away from Geryl's stomach as he said coolly in Geryl's face. "You smell...delicious..."
Highwind smiled. "Very well." With a smirk, he dove forward, slashing fifteen times as he slipped past Geryl (like Sephiroth in KH2, XD), then disappeared into darkness as he teleported around Geryl, each time slashing at lightning speeds.
OOC: *face palms* Oh, geez, I can't believe I didn't get that. No, it's not Cid Highwind. It's another Highwind...Highwind is actually his first name. Or his last name. I'm not sure anyone but him knows his full name... Not that that is very important. Here's a link to a good picture of him... http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n210/jsshur/samshow.jpg BIC: "Then, here I come." Highwind swished his sword forward, slashing in a diagonal up-right slash that left a deep slash in the wood...
OOC: Oh, yeah, him. But now I'm way confused. Explain your question 'Do you mean Cid?' please? BIC: Highwind laughed, and brought his sword to point position. "I'll ask again, are you game?"
OOC: Cid? I don't really know who you're talking about... BIC: Highwind chuckled. "Too bad. I guess I'll just skip the dramatic swordplay then, and skip to the part where I eat you..."
"It's been a while," Highwind said. "I wouldn't expect you to remember me." Highwind withdrew his sword and brought it close to his face. "Tell me, are you game?"
Highwind's sword met Geryl's. "Boo," Highwind said, his eyes blood red (normally, they're black.)
