OOC: Hey, Pirate, have your guys in another room okay? I finished my fight... "14th wave, second to last," the computer stated. "Dual Horns!" "Hard-headed smackdown time!" Xardius snarled, swinging Chomper as a Dual Horn appeared, hitting it square in the head and going right through, the Dual Horn's charge taking it's diced body into the nearby wall. Neatly leaping up, Xardius performed two X-slashes that took the legs out from underneath two more Dual Horns, then landed and performed a blade wave that made the wall spark. "Huh," Xardius said, shredding another Dual Horn. "Where's the real challenge?" "15th wave, Behemoth!" the computer announced. Xardius readied himself as a Behemoth charged towards him, its massive horns angled to gore. "Bring it!" he roared, and grabbed the first horn, landed on the Behemoth's head, and slammed Chomper through it. The Behemoth blinked, roared, and died. Leaping off the disintegrating carcass, Xardius dismissed Chomper. "Piece of cake," he said. "Didn't even break a sweat!" "This is the first time I've done this, so forgive me if I sound forward," a deep voice said from behind him. Xardius turned to see the silver-haired man from before. "I've watched you fight," the man said. "And I wish to combat with you." "Uh, okay?" Xardius said. "I'm Xardius Lionheart." "Sephiroth," the man said, shaking Xardius' hand. "If you will, meet back here in two hours." "No prob," Xardius said.
OOC: Yayz, Wing! BIC: "Begin exercise!" a voice said from the room. "Your mission is to defeat all the monsters." "Piece of cake," Xardius laughed, holding out a hand and summoning Chomper from a small crystal. "Nulix, back me up." "1st wave commencing!" the voice yelled. Out of nowhere, fifteen Sahagins leaped down, their tridents plunging for the duo. Xardius and Nulix neatly dodged, as Xardius swept his sword upward, splitting a Sahagin in two. As the the remainder landed, Xardius plunged in, ripping them apart with Chomper and sheer brute strength...
OOC: Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo are from Advent Children, which is set about 10 years after Crisis Core..........and ShinRa is completely demolished by then.
OOC: Yeah, well, since when have we ever done anything in chronological order? We already fought Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo earlier in the RP, so...really...I don't think it matters... BIC: A man walked up to the two, and handed them headsets. "Wear these as to see the virtual monsters. Get ready..." Xardius snapped his on. "Roger. Try to kill me."
Xardius and Nulix rode the elevator to the 49th floor, where the doors opened. A black-haired, tall man awaited them. "You're the first applicants SOLDIER has ever had for 1st class," the man said. "I hope you're worth my time. My name is Angeal. Head through the doors on your left and into the glass room where you'll be pitted against monsters of different powers. Good luck." "No sweat, Angel-boy," Xardius said, waltzing into the VTR. "I'm pumped!" EDIT: Curses, gotta go!
Xardius paused for a sec, and looked around, then spied a tall silver-haired man in a black cape. "Hey, buddy, how do you spell Sephiroth?" Xardius asked him. The man blinked. "S-e-p-h-i-r-o-t-h......." Xardius nodded and waved. "Thanks." The man stared at Xardius for a second. "Are you applying for SOLDIER?" "Uh, yeah," Xardius said, frowning over another question (how old are you?). "1st class?" the man asked. "Uh-huh," Xardius muttered. The man slightly smiled. "Maybe I'll see you around..." *** Xardius heard Wing, and sighed. "You guys go ahead, I'm taking the long way. I want to be able to come back..." He headed for the elevator that would take him to the SOLDIER floor.
"Hey, Nulix," Xardius whispered back. "Write down Sephiroth. That's the only 1st class I really know about."
"YEAH BABY! Genetical mutations here we come!" Xardius roared as the ship rocketed to Midgar. *** OOC: I'm skipping ahead. I'll be the guy who signs you up as SOLDIER members, by testing our "abilities." (I really like FF7, so forgive me if I seem a little too enthusiastic.) BIC: Sometime later... "You want to what?" the receptionist blinked. "Apply for 1st class SOLDIER," Xardius repeated. "Can we?" "Uh, I guess," the receptionist said. "But you're gonna die." Xardius raised an eyebrow. "Fine," the receptionist snapped. "Sign these forms, and head through the elevator to the door this card will take you to. Once there, a SOLDIER member will take you to the VTR, or virtual training room, where you'll be set against a data match to the caliber of a 1st class SOLDIER. Good luck." Xardius grinned. "Perfect! Let's roll!"
"SOLDIER? Elite?" Xardius' ears perked up. "Oh ho...I think this is going to be...good..." A decidedly Xardius-smirk spread across his face.
OOC: Me too, see ya. BIC: Xardius scratched his head. "Whatever the rest of you decides is fine."
"It'll relieve much need-to-be-relieved tension," Xardius said, cracking his knuckles.
"..." Xardius said. "Fine. I say, since this didn't work, we blow up their ship."
"Well, that was certainly quick," Xardius said. "Track where it jumps, then we'll follow."
"I think that was too obvious," Xardius muttered to himself.
"So we good?" Xardius asked. "Great." Hitting another pressure point, Skinnar's eyes popped open. "Here's the deal, Skynar," Xardius drawled. "Since we're annoyed as heck with you, we're dumping your butt in a little pod and kickin' you out of our ship. You'll probably die. We don't care anymore. You told us everything in your little relapse there, thanks to my handy-dandy truth serum..."
Xardius shrugged. "Just a sec." With a massive thunk, he slammed a finger into a point on Skinnar's back, making his eyes roll back into their head, and him go unconscious. "All right, I say we let Skinnar go, and follow him to the main U.P.A. base, vanquish it, and go scott free," Xardius said.

OOC: Sorry I was gone too...Had a concert to go to, that lasted two freakin' hours... BIC: Xardius meanwhile managed to get back on the ship with only a few scrapes. Leaning against the railing, Xardius stretched and hoisted a cannon ball like it was a baseball. "Hey, so we leaving?" he asked, twirling it on his finger. "I'm bored here."
Fortunately for Xegreny, Xardius was keeping the crew very busy. "Hot feet, eh?" Xardius said, chuckling as another crew member howled in pain as flames shot at him. Surrounded by the crew members, Xardius simply stood laughing...That is, until they started shooting at him. "Hmph, not nice," Xardius said, dismissing the flames, and yanking out his Dual Dragons. "This is the end," he growled, and ran forward, twisting to gut the dead into oblivion.
