    OOC: Oh, I don't know...

BIC: Lich roared as Wing's blades slashed into his bones, then released an Aeroja spell that blasted a shield around him, sweeping curved wind blades at the UO members...

Xardius hopped over and under them, slamming Chomper down in a rush of energy, then slamming a combo in before sweeping Shurunrai out, slashing apart Lich's armor in the front, before sweeping forward in a rush of movement, slamming into and out of Lich's expansive rib cage (apparently he could fit in small places if he wanted to), and ripped Chomper through Lich's backbone.

    Lich roared again in pain...

Xardius tapped his foot. "I seriously thought it would put up more of a fight...That's why I had that big speech. Sheesh."

"Next up," the announcer said, nearly squealing in excitement. "Dangerous beyond danger, the greatest of all lichs, the undead mages...the Fiend of Earth!"

With a massive stream of sand and heat combined with swirls of flame, the floor of the arena broke apart as bones split through, coalescing into a monstrous being nearly a foot taller than Xardius and completely dead, bones polished white.

It roared to life with its Firaja spells leading the way...

OOC: And I'm off for the night too. See you guys tomorrow.

"Hmph, it talks big," Xardius said. "But it's an outcast, a renegade...which makes it dangerous, desperate, and stupid, because it takes a lot to get kicked out. How do I know? It's in the tournament. Normal vampires don't even bother to talk to other species, let alone work under them. Maybe this one just didn't have the power...Which means Wing will defeat it no problem. After all, he defeated one as a Guardian."

Astos went flying from the blow and splatted against a wall, his dark elf skull not able to withstand the pressure of the wall to the point of retaining consciousness. Basically he was out cold.

    Which just left the Vampire.

"Yeah, I'm bored," Xardius said, decking Garland, finally succeeding in shattering his helmet, at which point Garland covered his face with his hands and ran out screaming.

Astos launched another volley of magic at Xane, including a Thundaga spell...

Xardius unhooked Chomper from its sheath as he walked towards Wing and the Vampire...

EDIT OOC: Tsubasa, eh? More FF1 than Tsubasa, but he's the only Vampire boss, so...yeah.

OOC: And then there was three...

BIC: "Try your luck against a Vampire, then!" the Vampire screamed as it leaped from a high gate at Wing, its fangs bared.

EDIT: The Firaga spell rippled over Xane's body, heading for Xardius, who grabbed a stumbling Garland by the helmet and swung him into it. Garland got it full frontal, sprawled over, and Xardius began kicking him idly while he struggled to get up.

EDIT 2: "I am Astos, the King of Dark Elves!" the apparition screamed, swinging a gnarly fist at him.

    OOC: No, but Astos might.

BIC: Garland got back up and attempted to hit Xardius some more, but Xardius was having none of it.

Meanwhile, darkness pervaded the area behind Xane, and a fierce cry of "Firaga" from an alien throat split the air behind him...

Xardius eyed Xane askance. "It is a 'legendary monster competition.' I guess people are included as well."

Garland stepped out of one of the gates, his massive sword coming up at an angle. "Worthless competition," he said, "but I'm in this for the money, har har! I, Garland, shall knock you all down!"

Xardius cocked an eyebrow, then simply ducked as Garland ran at him and swung. The next instant, Shurunrai was a blaze in his hands, slamming into Garland's sword, and then armor, knocking him back.

Xardius frowned. "Your armor isn't normal..."

Garland guffawed and yanked his sword into two, cutting drastically at Xardius, who simply sidestepped, and tripped Garland onto his face.

"What a waste," Xardius said. "Your turn Xane."

OOC: All right, forget HP for a bit...we're not really using it anyway...let's just do this...

BIC: More monsters dropped down, ending with an Evil Eye that began casting an Instant Kill spell. As the monsters raced forward, Xardius stepped forward.

Silently pulling out Shurunrai, still encased in its sheath, he whipped it out faster than the eye could see, and energy exploded in a horizontal line that burned through the monsters, and embedded itself in the Evil Eye's...eye. Screaming, it lashed out with its Kill spell, but Xardius batted the energy aside as he stepped in close and embedded Shurunrai to the hilt.

Yanking the blade out as the Evil Eye went into its death throws, Xardius whipped the blade clean and swept it back into its sheath.

Grabbing Chomper with his other hand, he pulled it forward and looked at it.

"It's time you changed form once again," he said, and the sword shifted in his hand, becoming a broadsword with a slight serrated edge near the hilt. Placing the newly formed Chomper back on his back, he walked back towards the group.

"Now the real fun begins!" the announcer said. "That was just the prelude...the WARM-UP! Now, ladies and gentlemen, I give you the greatest swordsman in Crystalis......GARLAND!"

Xardius got up and punched the Piscodemon through a wall. It died. Duh.

Another one floated out and he flicked a finger, throwing a Thundaja spell at it. It died too.

EDIT OOC: Wraith, HP: 344, BD: 22, Paralysis effect every 2 turns (not a problem)
Hyenadon, HP: 480, BD: 22, Uses Fira magic to heal itself when it is low on HP (should die with another hit anyway)
Evil Eye, HP: 648, BD: 30, Causes instant death to all opponents on its second turn, so have Xardius punch it a couple of times
King Mummy, HP: 752, BD: 43, Causes double damage to guys but only half damage to girls (don't know why)

I have to go soon, so I just thought I'd give this out. Actually, I have to go now. Don't forget to use Xardius to fight the Evil Eye (there's only one of the Evil Eye and King Mummy, but two of everything else).

OOC: Perfect fight for Wing's magic abilities...

BIC: Two Piscodemons floated out serenely. Squidheads, staffs, glowing red orbs...of fira energy. Which they threw at Xane and Xardius.

Xardius took his head on, and slashed forward, but was caught off guard by the Piscodemon's Reflect spell, which jolted the energy into him.

"What?" he growled, and then got slammed backwards by the Piscodemon's Gravira spell, which decimated his HP by 25%.

Getting up, he got hit in the chest by Blizzara, Thundara, and another Fira spell recursively.

OOC: No, I don't expect Xane to take this much punishment.

OOC: Recap of Fights 1 through 5: Pyrolisk, Cockatrice, Gargoyle, Anaconda, and Mummy
Fights 6 through 10 starting now.
They'll include: Piscodemon, Wraith, Hyenadon, Evil Eye, and King Mummy

BIC: Xardius grinned. "Yeah, let's do this, then."

Not waiting for Crissilia's answer, he jumped into the arena, bouncing up and down...almost.

Round 6 Starting! the board said.

"End of Part 1 of Match One of Round 2!" The announcer screamed. "What a barrage of battles! It's a pit stop for now, but soon..! Part 2!"

Xardius bowed to the cheering crowd and walked over to Wing. "You could help us, by the way. I heard Odin say even if you lost in Round 1, Round 2 is sort of like a proving ground...If you won Round 1, you're automatically in Round 3, but if you lost Round 1, you have to pay to get in to 3, which is what Round 2 is about, but if you won Round 1, you still have to fight Round 2..."

He shook his head. "Now I'm confused...Well, anyway, you can fight with us, if you like."

LAST FIGHT! The board said. Mummies!

    Mummy - HP: 320, BD: 30, EXP: 300, Gil: 300

Two mummies rushed Xardius and Xane. One tackled Xardius who rolled with it and flung it into a wall, then speared it before it could get up. Yanking his sword from it, he slicked the Dueling Dragons into its sheath, and decided that he was going to use a katana for these fights...

"Er, well, actually..." Xardius said. "But this is supposed to be a team effort."

Two anacondas raced in, bigger than most. They hissed and lanced at Xardius, who smacked one in the head. It nearly died then and there.

"I'll finish this one, you take the other one," Xardius said.

Remember folks, the board said. Your HP is 1000, and your BD is 100!

    Anaconda Stats - HP: 320, BD: 22, EXP: 165, Gil: 50
Special: Its damage increases 25% for every strike it takes

OOC: By the way, you don't really have to worry about the EXP and Gil. I've got you covered there.

EDIT: Lol, Xardius seems to be trying to be confident...

Meanwhile, Xardius sliced a Cockatrice apart, the next one beginning to focus. He took its large head off before it could release its beam of kill-gaze energy.

Next up. Xardius twisted to face the two Gargoyles that dropped out of a higher hole, lancing towards him.

    Stats - HP: 320, BD: 12, EXP: 132, Gil: 80
Special: Damage reduced by 25% because of thick skin

"Dagnabbit," Xardius muttered as the Gargoyles advanced. "Eat steel punks."

Running forward, he kicked one of the gargoyles in the head, twisting with the blow of the other as it tackled him. Using it as a launch-board, he flew through the air upwards at the one as it attempted to flee, splitting it in half with Chomper. The other one hit him from below, but he grabbed and slammed his fist into its face.

Dazed, it released him, then charged at him again as he landed on the arena wall. Xardius swung simply, slicing it in two.

"If I was evil," he said to the crowd. "I wouldn't let them touch me."

    Another gate opened...

EDIT OOC: WOW! Good job Pirate! Help?

OOC: Technically the bird would only have taken off 20 HP...

BIC: Xardius stared after him. "Hey, the fight's just begun stupid!"

Cockatrices, huge fat waddling birds, waddled forward out of a door, squawking.

    Stats: HP - 200, BD - 1, EXP - 186, Gil - 80
Special: Instant kill every three turns

"Crap!" Xardius said. "Well, maybe I can do this..."

"Meh," Xardius said in answer, stepping forward and drawing the Dueling Dragon from his cloak.

    -Slice-

    The bird died.

EDIT OOC: Well, we could have something like...You can attack as many times as you want in your post, so you don't have to worry about your allies. However, you can't attack "their opponent", and include your opponent's attacks into your post. Also include specials, such as above. So you don't have to wait for people.
