OOC: Meh, it's okay. It might have been more convenient on Asgard, but it's fine here. Everyone moved okay....Yay for big huge dump posts of what everyone in the world is doing... Having a lot of characters is hard work...*whew* Hey, Nulix, what's going on with Alyt and those guys? And Pirate, what about the UPA? And Xegreny, what about Adumbral and Xegreny!? Xardius is going to get worried soon... BIC: Xardius shrugged. "I think we should start getting people healed up and moved into another area. If the Brotherhood attacks, they're not going to wait for us to get these people out of the way..." Crissilia was already using her powers to heal people ahead of him, despite the protests of the hospital guard. "Try and find Nulix," Xardius said, grabbing the hospital guard and dumping him into a trash canister, sealing the lid shut and dropping it off a cliff. "I think I can probably heal him."
Xardius apologized to Crissilia, who explained that she'd left soon after him, but had stayed away from the battlefield due to the fact that she was still tired and didn't think she'd be much use. So when the Apocalypse happened, she helped organize the Asgardian Police into the area along with the rescue workers, which is why the evacuation had taken less than an hour to complete. Xardius was impressed, and he told her so as the ship landed. Crissila paused. "I saw Nulix...I tried to heal him, but he's in bad shape." Xardius nodded. "I'll see if I can find him and start laying out healing spells...I wish Enigma were here..." Walking outside, the two of them marched up to the landing medical ships and began offering their services... *** Enigma and Falcon both sat leaning against a rock, Falcon cleaning her rapier. "So, we finished?" Enigma asked. "There doesn't seem to be much point now," Falcon said. "You've proved you aren't weak." "Neither are you," Enigma said. "But you're lacking...determination." Falcon stared hard at him for a minute, then shrugged. "I don't have the resolution that the rest of you do, I guess. I am the newest member, or close enough." Enigma, puzzled, turned to her. "I never heard your story of why you joined..." Falcon slapped her blade into its sheath. "I'm looking for someone... But, that search led me awry. I was left alone and penniless on a rough world, and only my skill with a blade kept me from falling further than that. There were always the men..." She closed her eyes, and Enigma could imagine. She was lucky. Falcon opened her eyes again. "But I always won. Then Scourge found me. At first I thought he was just another one of them...But he didn't want to fight me, and he was polite. He took me to dinner, got me cleaned up, feeling human again...then he told me that he was looking for skilled people and I decided to join up with him. I owed him, right?" Enigma was silent. Falcon shrugged. "He sent me here because he said 'The one you're looking for is here. Good luck.'" She laughed slightly. "But I haven't found him." "Who is it?" Enigma asked after a moment. "A very old friend," Falcon said softly... *** Tera Roth leaped through the portal and looked around, spotting the UO quickly. Breathing a sigh of relief, and brushing grime off of himself, he waited for Tyre and Highwind to show up. Presently they did. "No one was on the other worlds, and the gateway hadn't had anyone gone through," Highwind said. "Mine either," Tyre said. "Good," Tera Roth, checking the list on the side of the gate. "Illusion can be fed to people, but not machines. It seems Azull hasn't entered into one of the other worlds yet..." At that moment, the gate shut down. "What just happened?" Tera Roth asked. "They say everyone's off world," Tyre said, listening for a moment. "They're closing connections." Tera Roth kicked a wall. "Crap! What about Azull?" "I'm sure he's around here somewhere," Highwind said. "If they can't find anyone..." "Then he's here," Tera Roth said. "Why isn't he on the list?" "Maybe he didn't use the gate," Tyre suggested, and Tera Roth moaned. "Or maybe he was only here in illusion..." "Wait," Tera Roth said. "If you were going to enter a tournament, and didn't want to get injured, but needed to be nearby, would you risk yourself twenty-four seven? If you were Azull, I mean?" Highwind shook his head without thought. Tera Roth smiled. "Oh, he's here then...." The other two didn't bother to comment.
OOC: Oh...thanks, that helps. Because I was going to have a major problem trying to get Zaxor, Trent, Enigma, Falcon, Azull, Tera Roth, Tyre, Highwind, and the new evil guy who has a grudge against Darxess off world...OK, let's go to...Midgard, it seems slightly normal... Don't worry Nulix. We're heading there now. BIC: Tera Roth, Tyre, and Highwind sprinted through the jungle, as trees cracked in half and the wind howled at their backs. Tyre stumbled, but recovered, which was good, because they didn't have time to stop and help him up. As Azull had stepped out of the trees, smiling with pleasure, blurs of energy already appearing in his hands ready to strike, an explosion of white hot energy had burst from the ground, hitting Azull straight on and giving them the chance to escape. Tera Roth didn't think Azull was dead, unfortunately... "There are three exits from the world, right?" Tera Roth yelled over the wind. Highwind yelled back an affirmative. "Right! We've got to make sure Azull goes to the one the Ultimate Organization goes to!" Tera Roth yelled. "I'll got tell the UO to head to Midgard...You guys seal the entrances to the other two worlds!" The three split off, heading for their perspective destinations... *** Enigma and Falcon's fight had turned into a chaotic melee and then a desperate flight to survive. Falcon was second class; Enigma first. Either way, things were getting dangerous, and the two were back to back, helping each other escape the inferno... As they climbed up the mountain, Enigma pointed. "Misgard's gate! Go for it!" Falcon twisted and sprinted as Enigma slammed energy into the mountain, turning back the lava bursts for a moment, before turning and running for the gate as well... Behind him, the mountain erupted in molten rock... *** Zaxor and Trent watched the UO load into their gummi ship and exchanged glances...Things would come to a head very soon... *** The anti-UO group simply walked into the Misgard portal... *** Xardius jumped into the gummi ship. "Crissilia's there, too! Hurry!"
OOC: You've...got to be kidding me...That ruins all my plans in like...the thirty seconds it took to post the destruction of Asgard...I might just leave for the night and not come back until tomorrow...*sigh*
OOC: ...........Why? What happened to make the world blow up...?
OOC: Why is the ground cracking apart...? I'm kind of confused... BIC: Xardius looked around. "Um...What?"
OOC: Hmm, I didn't even notice. Last post tonight. BIC: Xardius pounded through the wreckage, pausing as he looked around. There was no trace of Crissilia. Maybe she'd... Turning, he bounded out of the hotel's wreckage, landing next to the firefighter who'd stopped him earlier. "You didn't happen to see a little girl around here did you?" Xardius asked him. "Oh, that's who you were looking for?" the firefighter asked. "Yeah, she's helping heal the wounded over in the medical center." Breathing a sigh of relief, Xardius nodded his thanks and began running for the hospital... OOC: Tomorrow, hopefully, the end of Enigma and Falcon's fight, the beginning of the UO vs the Brotherhood, and Tera Roth, Tyre, and Highwind vs Azull! Yippee!
OOC: My ranting took over for a moment...I'm back to normal now...though I'm really exhausted... BIC: Xardius stood in silence at the wreckage of the hotel before him, his mouth tight, his eyes hard. He scanned the wreckage, locating where his room had been...where Crissilia had been... "Excuse me, sir, but this is a dangerous area," a man in a firefighter's uniform said, running up to him. "Are you authorized to be here? If not, I have to ask you to leave." "Sorry," Xardius said. "I have some things in there." And he jumped into the wreckage, wading through water and shoving huge boulders out of the way. The firefighter stared at him for a moment, mumbled something about not being responsible, and left. EDIT OOC: Asgard is the world we're on, so named by Pirate.
OOC: My brother needs to take a chill pill and get off the dang computer when I tell him to like a good brother should...Sorry I wasn't online today, I had Scouts which took forever...We cooked Dutch oven Pizzas and I wasn't even hungry... Anyway, what I meant by the Brotherhood thing was there is still Zaxor, Azull, and Trent who are trying to track down the Brotherhood to eliminate them. Enigma is fighting Falcon, and apparently Azull just found Tera Roth and the others...And then there's the anti-UO group that hasn't done anything...yet... Anyway, we still have two groups to get rid of, plus the guy who kidnapped Orb...so I'm just saying that Nulix getting blown to pieces effectively ended the tournament, but we've still got a ways to go before we can get off Asgard... EDIT: Oh, hi Nulix. Pirate's here too. I'll be on for 20 more minutes, so if you have any discussion thing between characters...
OOC: End the tournament, yes. End the war on Asgard, not quite. Apocalypse hasn't dealt its final cards yet. There is still the Brotherhood to contend with...I'll be back later, but for now, I'll post this... BIC: Zaxor and Trent stood side by side, each staring out at the wreckage. Zaxor spat. "Disgusting mortals," he growled. "This is going to get dirty." "Perhaps we should have waited to find them until after they were through hiding," Trent muttered. "Are you a coward as well?" Zaxor hissed. Trent glared at him, but Zaxor didn't notice. His eyes were pulled forward. "I must fight them. To grow stronger." Trent didn't answer, but his eyes glowed in the dimming light. Waiting for blood. *** Tera Roth, Tyre, and Highwind finished ripping Azull's back-up gummi to pieces. Don't ask how they knew it was Azull's. Something's are better off not knowing. Tera Roth slumped down into the dirt, and wiped his sweaty hair back from his eyes. "The block's off," he said. "We can go unlimited." Highwind shook his head. "Now I'm much too tired." "Pity," Azull said, stepping from the shadows. "I'll have to just kill you then." *** Xardius suddenly felt a predator's gaze on him, and he turned, staring up at the broken treeline of the Asgard Forest. "The Brotherhood," he growled, and hurried to tell the others. *** Enigma stood, panting, at the bottom of the mountain. Falcon was gasping for breath, struggling to stay on her feet. Enigma was nowhere near his level, but she had made him break a sweat and had neatly countered all his efforts to finish the battle quickly. This had taken longer than he'd thought it would, but not longer than he'd planned for. Wiping sweat from his eyes, he moved forward once again... *** Beneath the starry sky, the white-caped man stood staring at the sky, a small smile on his face. Hegemoth stood beside him, his large sword strapped to his back. "Soon I shall reveal myself, and all shall be made as dust," the man said to the sky. Hegemoth simply grinned. *** The three men who made up the Anti-UO Group stood in silence in the middle of the carnage. One of the three at least was having second thoughts about what could happen when you crossed the Ultimate Organization...
OOC: Yeah, I'm dragging my feet plot-wise. And I think I'm gonna go...I'm outta time anyways. So I'll see you guys tomorrow.
Xardius at that moment was thinking, Smash Adumbral over the head and kill him. Smash Adumbral over the head and kill him. while he reached down to grab the Mjolnir. It easily came off the ground. "Evil intentions, huh," he scoffed. "It's just heavy."
OOC: Awww, it deleted my post...I had to start again, 'tis why it took so long... BIC: Falcon stood in the ruins of her second combo; Enigma, unscratched, to the side. Falcon hissed slightly, her fingers clenching around the handle of her rapier. "Novice, go warn the Ultimate Organization, please," Enigma said. "I'll keep Ms. Kitty-Kat here busy." Falcon sputtered, then leaped at him, again releasing her second combo. This time, Enigma didn't bother to dodge. Reaching inside his cloak, he pulled out the dark crystal and, with the same hand, halted Falcon's blade by the point. Falcon's momentum kept her going, ramming straight into Enigma and carrying them down the mountain... EDIT OOC: Thanks Jaxed.
"Hold your horses," a voice said from behind them. "Tul Raijin is Brotherhood. Didn't you know that? Or are you just stupid?"
OOC: Well, it's been like 10 minutes since he disappeared, and the last person to see him was Xardius, and he probably didn't see him get abducted, but still... BIC: Xardius grabbed Adumbral...somehow, and shook him. "Hey, where's Xegreny?"
OOC: I pretty much just stick around, Xeg...I was on early today because I didn't go over to my friend's house. BIC: Falcon was renowned throughout the worlds as the Ultimate Fencer of the Brotherhood. She was so fast the air around her was said to be cut from her movements. Being a Brotherhood member made it believable. But as fast as she was, she couldn't even touch Enigma. Her first combo ripped apart the rock where Enigma had been leaning, cutting it into chunks no bigger than pebbles in seconds, but Enigma wasn't there. She twisted to see him standing about ten feet behind her, waving. Furious, she charged again, methodically ripping the air apart. Enigma effortlessly let every blow whistle by him as if he were dancing alone on top of a very high mountain. Falcon screamed in frustration. "Take me seriously!" Enigma laughed. "If I did that, you'd be dead already." Falcon laughed. "You can dodge the weakest of my combos, and you think you can kill me? Delusional boy!" And she performed the second of her world-renowned ten combos, as the mountain heaved in protest and ripped apart from sheer ferocity... *** Meanwhile, Xardius finally got to the other members. "The Brotherhood's here," he said. "I think Enigma and Novice went to hold them back, but I don't think it will be enough. We've got to be prepared for trouble." EDIT OOC: I don't think they're listening Pirate...
OOC: Well, that and our climactic triumph over the Brotherhood as they try to kill us. :) Of course. And, yes, XD, I noticed your PMs were, kind of uh, cluttered. I tried to PM you what had happened, lol.
OOC: Yeah, yeah...Well, I don't want to post the really rather climactic battle between Enigma and Falcon just yet....No one will read it if they come and it's already there...as was proven... EDIT OOC: EVERYONE! THIS IS IMPORTANT! When we hit 4000 replies, we'll have to move to another thread!!! This is just FYI but it's important. I'll think of what to call it...And maybe that's when we can get some new members.
OOC: Correct assumption. BIC: "The apocalypse is over," Azull said after Adumbral left...finally. Enigma nodded. "And so you want to...?" "Let me send one of them at least!" Azull said. "I promise I won't do any more than that!" At that moment, Zaxor spoke up. "You're weak, Azull." Azull's head snapped towards Zaxor. "What?" "You're too weak," Zaxor said. "I'm going to have to kill you." Trent smirked, and Falcon saluted him as Zaxor pulled out his sword. Azull's face suddenly calmed and a slow smile spread across his face. "Is that so...?" Zaxor shrugged. "I can't abide weak people, and you kissing bozo's feet over here is making me sick. So I'm gonna gut you right here." "I doubt it," Azull said, and disappeared. Zaxor didn't even flinch. "I'll find you eventually, Azull...And we'll see how illusion holds up when I do." "Very well, Zaxor," Enigma said. "If you want to fight so badly, go fight the Ultimate Organization. I'm sure they'll love to entertain you." Zaxor's grin widened and he leaped off the cliff, heading for the UO. Trent looked at Falcon, and they simultaneously marched towards Enigma. "You sure?" Enigma asked. They didn't answer. Sighing, Enigma got up and brushed himself off. "Very well. Trent can go as well." "Weak," Falcon said. "I am going to kill you, not just threaten." Trent ran off after Zaxor as Falcon swept out her rapier and stalked towards Enigma, who wore a smug smile on his face, waiting...
OOC: XD, Enigma cracks a joke, lol. Enigma shrugged and stood up slightly. "I can't leave at the moment...my so-called friends want to just annihilate every living thing on the planet right now, so I'm making sure they don't, but I can tell you how to do it. First, you all must come to an agreement...You can't force stuff like this." Enigma drew a circle in the dirt. "This is Xegreny and your real counterpart. When you, as an unintelligent Heartless if I'm correct, attacked Xegreny and managed to destroy him, this happened." He drew a line down the middle of the circle, then the two halves farther apart. In the middle, he drew another circle separating the two halves. "This is you," he said. "Normally, if the Heartless is destroyed..." Enigma wiped the circle away and drew arrows for the halves to join together. "Merging becomes much easier, but still requires the Nobody and human to connect with one another. Total meshing takes time." "However," he said, drawing the circle again. "You haven't be destroyed and aren't likely to, and since you have more than a modicum of intelligence, I'm just curious to see what will happen when all three of you merge. Perhaps it has something to do with the variance of Xegreny's soul that created you as you are...You are pretty much him. It doesn't matter, ignore that." He stood up. "To be able to merge with your others, you'll have to break down the barriers," he said, drawing a line through the circle with his foot, "allowing the other and Nobody to connect and bond. This requires the cooperation of both the other and Nobody, or at least the Nobody. Once that's happened, you'll have to flood this small gate with every ounce of energy you've got and merge yourself into it, thence forcing the transfer of souls and merging you all together at once." He shook his head. "Complicated. If you want, I'll help you do it later, but I'm busy right now..." "Just remember, I don't know what personality is going to come out on top. It could be Xegreny, it could be your other, it could be you. Or it could be a true mix, with elements from everyone in it," Enigma finished. "Keep that in mind, hmm?"
