"Got it!" Beuce called back to Kel through the smokescreen after chugging the potion. He sounded oddly serious and determined, focused on the goal at hand. It was off for Beuce, yet handy. He ran through the smokescreen to grab his target. "You won't Succeed!" R yelled at Beuce. He had to be quick. This was the only chance he had to save her, but the smokescreen blurred his vision. He couldn't tell who was who. He sent a massive dark firaga in the general direction of where Beuce had been standing, slightly grazing him on the shoulder but not enough to significantly hinder him. Through the smoke, Beuce could make out her red hair. "Got her!" He said picking up Sapphire and throwing her over his shoulder. "Let's bail!" He then bolted for the door, but he could feel something behind him. A series of dark blades dropping from the ceiling. "Dark Guillotine!" R yelled, using the attack he had defeated Xross with. He had to stop them before they reached the door. As the blades sliced through the smoke,he hoped the right target was struck. He had cast the attack near the area of the door to increase the odds of hitting the lights and decrease hitting the darks. "Runrunrunrunrunrunrun!" Beuce yelled frantically as he realized what was happening. It was either make it to the door or be cut in half. In a desperate dive, he made it out the door as he felt a blade touch the sole of his shoe. He looked over to see that Kel had fortunately made it out too. He wasted no time in summoning his glider and tossing hopping on it with the girl he had taken. "Man Kaya did your boobs get smaller or so-....God dammit" He swore as he realized that he'd taken Sapphire. He couldn't go back, so he was left with no choice but to take off. "I like this girl." Emerald said smiling at Lysa. She reminded her of herself a bit. Right now she was just tagging along with Louvel, so she left it up to him to decide what they were going to do, But she made a mental note to stop by Merlin's house while they were there. A certain mechanic needed a visit.
R watched as the nobodies released their true power. It was indeed a sight to behold. They would likely be able to handle Kel, but R could sense light drawing closer. The two who had abandoned their teammates were drawing closer, returning to help them. Still, with the addition of the man who had just awoken, they outnumbered them. But they were able to defeat Ruby and Annabelle, they weren't to be taken lightly. He looked over at the man who had previously been unconscious for some inexplicable reason "The situation calls for our attention. I'll explain it to you afterwards." R responded. Beuce rolled his eyes at Iaso whining about not being thanked, begging for sympathy. "shaddap would ya?" Beuce said, grabbing the empty potion bottle which previously contained the potion R drank and chucked it at the back of his head. "God what is he secretly a nobody and his power is whining? is that his backstory?" Beuce groaned mockingly to no one in particular. It was then he noticed the change in scenery. "Oh...Well that's not good..." He used his keyblade to push himself to his feet, knowing full well Kel wouldn't be able to take on four darks alone. Beuce was getting back up, this wasn't good. R was trying to refrain from doing this, but he didn't have much of a choice. If he could only get back into the fight, they'd probably be able to win. The nobodies weren't the only ones with a hidden power. He reluctantly called out the name of his ability. "Dark Siphon" As the name was called out, the darkness in the room began flowing toward him. The darkness that sustained Sapphire's dark mode, the darkness which fueled any dark firagas Kaya would fire off, the dark smoke which flowed from Rexitus' shoulders, and the most of all, the darkness that warped the area. The move was relentless and hungry, draining all the darkness in the area into it's user, rejuvenating him. The obvious drawback of using this was that his allies were drained. Slowly, R climbed to his feet, looking around at his allies to make sure no one was too badly affected by his move.
So did the nobodies like...not listen to R or what?
R watched as the light began attempting to sway them to join him. "The path they've chosen is clear" R stated to Kel. A fight seemed to be about to ensue. He watched Sapphire carefully. He may not have been able to use the darkness to it's fullest extent, but he still had his keyblade. An injured defender was better than no defender at all. Only one thing turned his gaze from the girl he was defending. A corridor of darkness opening in the side of the room. A wave of relief washed across him. Xross and the nobodies had returned from their mission. ";.;" Replied Beuce to Kaya's refusal to hug him. Kel was attemting to talk his way out of the situation, and Beuce hoped it worked too. Because then not only would they not have to fight them, as Beuce was very exhausted and his head was still spinning from the hit Iaso had dealt. but Kaya would come back with them. "Wow, this thing has seen better days..." Emerald said looking at the beat up gummi ship. In all honesty, it was a piece of crap. "You know, I know a guy here. He's a bit of a wiz on Gummi ships, I could ask him to try and fix this up for you if you want"
Beuce-I'll give you the satisfaction of having gotten me something.
R slowly took the the potion from Kaya and poured it into his mouth. The healing properties of it eased the pain in his body, but he was still in no condition to fight. It seemed both sides were down quite a few in numbers. "Kaya, listen to me. Remember everything i taught you. An overpowering force can be a great asset, but should it prove ineffectual, remain calm and alter your strategy." R said to his pupil. It would seem they were about to find out just how much her training paid off. The only light left. The one that had been fighting him along with the white haired man who mega flared him. Beuce laid on the ground and rubbed his forehead, groaning. "Not cool man..." He laid on the floor for a few minutes, trying to regain his composure. luckily it seemed R was still down, but kaya was helping him. "Kaya, baby, Y U so cold?" Beuce said to her, spreading his arms as if to invite her to come hug him. The chances of this happening were less likely than winning the lottery 100 times in a row, but he still tried. Emerald jumped out the window, turning her keyblade into it's glider form right next to her. Her glider was composed of a seat, and a board in front of her, resembling a keyboard (the instrument). "Let's go!" She said, then began flying off
Not even questioning shoving an elephant off of a highwire, Beuce too began pushing. He summoned his keyblade, pressed it against Dumbos back leg, and pushed on the handle. "Heave ho" He said in unison with base, pushing at the same time. "Where i come from i'm the strongest there is, but good god this guy is heavy. I blame the size." He stated while straining to shove the elephant off. Still, he kept pushing. 'Heave ho!' He repeated in his mind. He looked over at Base while pushing. In a lot of ways, he reminded him of himself, only less attractive. He was more lighthearted rather than moody and serious. And their names...It had just occurred to Beuce why Base was hesitant to call him that. "ooooh that makes sense." The white haired man said out loud before recalling the task at hand and returning to it.
