OOC: I see Hidden's here! Yayz! So...what do you want me to do Pirate...?
OOC: Hey guys. I'm back for the rest of the night.
OOC: XD, lol. Of course it is. That's why I said it, lol Hmm, Xardius teaser. BIC: Xardius wiped sweat from his brow. "Thanks, OK, let's wrap it up." Crissilia nodded, and grabbed a water bottle, sucking it down. After a minute, she put the bottle down and handed it to Xardius, who drank some as well. "Do you really think it will work?" Crissilia asked. "I don't feel any different." "It's working," Xardius grunted. "I just hope Wing doesn't kill me when he finds out..." EDIT OOC: I gotta go for all day. Stuff to do. But I'll see you guys tomorrow hopefully.
OOC: Hmm, I'm pretty sure Xardius wouldn't have a problem killing the Virus...He's got enough power himself...XD Sorry, I couldn't resist.
OOC: And a few other reasons besides that. The jerk.
"Even me?" Scourge asked softly. "Even me?" He laughed softly to himself. "So that's it." He straightened. "Very well," he said. "I accept. I have one request however. If you're right, you fix it. I'm busy." And he stepped into a portal and disappeared. OOC: Yes, Scourge is being rather mysterious...hopefully, we'll understand soon. BIC: Scourge was furious. And Sorion knew it. Sorion settled back in his chair. "What is it, Scourge? Having problems with the...?" "Shut up," Scourge said quietly, rage boiling in his eyes. "What's going on?" "What do you mean?" Sorion asked innocently. The next instant, he was against the wall, finding it hard to breathe from Scourge's impossibly fast Firaja spell, his chair in ruins. "What's going on?" Scourge repeated. "I have Ravakov trying to get the Virus," Sorion said without hesitation, not bothering to pick himself off the floor. "Why?" Scourge asked. Sorion hesitated. The world blurred around him and pain exploded in his brain. "Don't toy with me," Scourge said. "I will just kill you and find out anyway." "We want to crush Midgar," Sorion gasped. "They're not letting us in the city." Pain flooded him as Scourge slammed a fist into Sorion's desk, disintegrating it. "I allowed them their independence last year!" Scourge snarled. "Why are you going behind my back?" Sorion was silent, simply looking at Scourge. Scourge understood. "You have two days to fix this," Scourge said. "Or else..." "I can't," Sorion blurted. "Zaxor, Trent, and Falcon are already gone. Falcon's with them, just like Enigma." Scourge rubbed his temple. "Then get Falcon or Enigma to do it." Sorion looked uncomfortable, then seemed to realize who he was talking to. "Right," he said. "And about Kardas..." Scourge shook his head. "Don't let him out of there alive. I won't stand for this." Sorion nodded, already calculating in his head. Scourge disappeared. *** "It seems you're right, Vecked," Scourge said softly, returning to his work. "But I don't have a choice." OOC: Urg, the suspense!
Scourge just stood there for a moment, then threw back his head and laughed. "You just don't get it, do you Vecked?" he asked, smiling slightly. "I don't care. I really don't. If they want to kill themselves, let them. But, you see, I think you'll find it hard for you to do...at least in the dark side." "I don't ask for taxes," Scourge said, stepping slowly towards Vecked. "I don't ask for their subordination. I don't rule. The only thing I've ever asked is that they provide me with a home, which the inhabitants of this world were happy to give me, a few people who were willing to work with me, hence the Brotherhood...And that's it." Scourge shook his head. "What you don't seem to understand is that I'm not after universal domination. However...don't think for an instant I won't kill you if you hurt the people who live here." Scourge stepped in very close to Vecked and snarled in his face. "I've worked too long and too hard for anyone to mess it up now. I won't ask for your cooperation, but I owe the people here and if you mess them up, I'll mess you up. Got it?" OOC: Hmmm, what is Scourge up to...? There's something else going on here...Oh, yeah, I am Scourge. I should know that. ;D
OOC: I told you I had to leave...It kicked me off right as I was posting...*grumble grumble* Here's what I would have posted last night. BIC: Scourge shook his head. "That I cannot do. Not even all of the Brotherhood knows my goals. And you think I'll tell you?" He chuckled. "You're either very stupid, desperate, or you have something else planned. So...just get it over with."
Scourge eyed Vecked. "..................."
Scourge scoffed. "Don't patronize me. I know what you're really here for. So just get it over with. I don't have all day."
"I suppose you're here to see me," Scourge said. "The two brothers..." He stepped away from the wall, and unfolded his arms, hands held loosely at his side. "What is it you want from me?" Scourge said. "I'm quite busy actually."
OOC: That sucks, because I have like 10 minutes, but I'll try...Post away Nulix, and fast.
Sephiroth nodded. "I see your point, but...I can't kill Kardas. I've tried...I have killed him. But he doesn't seem to notice. I can hack him to pieces and he comes back." He shrugged. "If you get rid of Kardas, that should get rid of any problem we'll have. Everything else we can handle."
OOC: OK, one more post. BIC: "Yes," Cloud said, speaking up. "But we can't leave. We have to deal with the other member...and that means rooting him out. We know he's here." Sephiroth shrugged. "I will go with you. You can measure our worth then." Cloud frowned for a second, then shrugged. "Take someone else with you. It'll give us a chance to actually use all of our powers." Sephiroth nodded. "So, will you accept? If all goes well, it shouldn't take long..." "And I hear you are trying to destroy the Brotherhood, aren't you?" Tifa asked with a wry smile. "Isn't it in your best interest?"
OOC: Yeah. XD BIC: Sephiroth grunted. "As I suspected." His hands squeezed slightly, but Aerith laid a hand on his arm and smiled slightly at him. He shrugged. Aerith turned back. "Sephiroth has always felt that his life was split into two different arcs or paths when he made a choice several years ago in Nibelheim. That choice was to accept Jenova as his mother and to take revenge on the planet...or not. Sephiroth chose the latter. From what I assume, the other Sephiroth did not." "Sephiroth began contacting old friends and their friends, and made a motley army of people who were against ShinRa organization," she said, waving a hand to include the people in the room. "After a time, ShinRa was deposed, and now Midgar has a rightful government. Lately, the Brotherhood has attempted several times to take over, but we have pushed them back each time." "However, Kardas is a problem. He is preying on the citizens of our city, and we need somebody to take care of him. We suppose he is simply set to lure us out of the city, so another member can destroy our government and take control, so we're at a bit of a loss about what to do." "My proposition, all of our propositions, are to ask of you," Aerith finished, "the Ultimate Organization, to kill Kardas and stop the Brotherhood from taking over our world." OOC: And with that, I go. Hobey-ho, see you tomorrow.
Tifa smiled. "Well, we certainly need the help. Kardas has been terrorizing us lately. However, we'll have to judge how good you are, and since you seem to be a fellow martial arts expert, we should spar some time..." Cloud coughed into his hand, and then Sephiroth entered the room, followed by Aerith, Zack, Cissnei, Tseng, Rude, Reno, Barret, Red XIII, Rufus, Yuffie, Vincent, Shelke, etc. As they piled in, they took seats, talking amongst themselves. Sephiroth nodded to Cloud and Tifa, Cloud relaxing against the bar and Tifa sighing in relief. Sephiroth turned back to the UO members (and Tera Roth and Janet of course). "Allow me to introduce Aerith," he said, motioning to her. She stepped forward and bowed to them. "I know you are from the light side of the worlds. From your expressions, it seems this is not the first time we've met. Tell me...what are our counterparts like?" OOC: Took me a while to think of everybody, and still...
Inside Cloud sat at the bar while Tifa worked behind it. Cloud turned at the door and eyed Xegreny up and down, then stood as Tifa stopped washing dishes. "I'm supposing since Sephiroth let you inside that you aren't our enemy," Cloud said. "My name is Cloud Strife, and I'm honored to make your acquaintance." "And I am Tifa Lockhart," Tifa said, bowing slightly. "Tell us, what brings you to our world?"
"I live here," Sephiroth said curtly. "I've always been here." Tera Roth shrugged. "Remember, it's the dark side. There could be two Sephiroths." Sephiroth turned slightly. "Yes, I've heard that...But I'll let Aerith explain..." After much walking, Sephiroth led them to a building near the outskirts of town named Seventh Heaven. "Please, go inside," Sephiroth said. "I'll go get the others." EDIT OOC: Yeah, I answered Pirate's question...totally...
"Fine," Sephiroth said, lowering his sword slightly. "Then I shall escort you into Midgar. The Brotherhood doesn't dare attack me straight out...at least for now. Come." Sephiroth twirled, and began walking towards the city.
Sephiroth looked very honestly confused for a moment. "What about Cloud? All I want to know is if you're in league with the Brotherhood..."
