The battle began with the two flying out the roof. Exactly who had knocked who upward wasn't apparent, but a flurry of blows came from both sides. Xindai had already summoned his lockdown keyblade and R was in his dark assassination mode, making him a quite a bit faster. The reflexes of the dark creator seemed superhuman, capable of keeping up with even the heartless' enhanced speed. It was a sight to behold, the melody of metal clashing against metal at incredible speeds. R kicked back away from the combat and sent a volley of dark flames at his enemy. Xindai skillfully evaded and parried the shots, then proceeded to counter with a telekinetic push. R deflected it with a quickly enacted Dark Aegis. ​

The two seemed fairly evenly matched for the moment, but neither had shown their full potential yet. Ran forward at R, readying a downward cut when suddenly he was gone in a flash, appearing once more behind him to finish the cut. R was caught off guard by this, but managed to just barely evade it. He was at a disadvantage for the following barrage of cuts. His guard finally broke when Xindai used the glaive to spray dark sparks at him. R had suffered a cut to his arm and escaped worse by emitting his darkness in the form of a smoke screen. Normally this would be no problem for Xindai, but since his reading of R's mind was nothing more than a bluff, he couldn't tell his location. ​

R had a chance to strike and he took it. Conjuring what resembled a buster sword, a massive upward swing at Xindai decimated the roof of the building they stood on. Xindai was sent flying out of the smog and steadied himself with a telekinetic aerial recovery. He floated there, then looked down to the ground to notice Valinton. "Valinton! Handle the girl will you? I may have my hands tied with this one." Xindai called down to him while parrying another massive swing from R. ​

The grid is in my pocket? I never knew that

The only deck i could actually use well is now ruined.

"He very well may be." R said in response to Gexln stating Xindai's claim. He could sense the darkness within this man, and it was powerful. "Haven't you ever looked closely at his darkness? At first glance it appears simply a strong darkness, but upon closer inspection you'll find it's older and far more powerful." R said in his deep emotionless voice. A glare was delivered to the dark creator. He had hurt Xero, and R wasn't going to let that happen again. He wasn't protective out of any sort of affection for the girl or anything, simply that he felt it was his duty as a leader. And perhaps to make up for the deeds of the man he percieved as his father. With a nod, he confirmed that Merlin was the reason they were there.​

By this point in time, Xindai had confirmed their reasons for coming. While R's mind was off limits, the other two were wide open. "The eternity stone hm? You're quite the ambitious one aren't you R? You know i created that as well. The things i could tell you about it. But for now, let's see what else is in your head. Oh my, the guilt you must feel from your father." Xindai said, bluffing his ability to read the thoughts of R. What he was actually reading was Xero's mind. The heartless became visibly uncomfortable at the prospect of his thoughts being read. "This poor girl, being his host. But then, what does a monster like you know about feelings?" ​

"Hold your tongue!" R snapped. A rare sight this was, R was angry. "Keep speaking and you may well lose it." Xindai laughed at the words. "Threatening me? You ought to know that's not wise. " "Gexln, finish our business here with Merlin. I'll soon follow once i deal with this." R practically shoved the nobody out Merlin's door and into the streets. ""So protective. Perhaps i've hit a soft spot?" Xindai laughed as a blade of darkness was flung at him. His telekinetic powers manuevered it to the side, past his head. "i'll take that as a yes." ​

You know he cracked the whip at them right? As in trying to hit them with it

There is no Reinzel here. He is dead from beyond the fourth wall. Only Beuce remains.

On a side note, i saw a poster that said "Always be yourself, unless you can be a pirate. Then always be a pirate."

I just want you to know that while i don't often speak, i'm always watching from the shadows

Except Ra. I've won several duels where they had a facedown SJ, expecting to be safe with it, and then Ra happened.
