But there's magic! *sparkle sparkle*
While you two are sitting there arguing, i'll be over here with my ridiculously balanced stats which are pretty ok in almost everything.
And so enters yet another one for Beuce to hit on
R nodded silently as she chose the staff. It made sense, with her powerful dark magics and all. "Now you must sacrifice one in exchange. After that, your darkest fear will arise. You must defeat it. I will offer you all the assistance i can but in the end it must be you who does the deed." They had to hurry. Not only for the sake of Sapphire's mind, but R had a foreboding feeling. Like the war was but minutes away, and he couldn't be unconsious at that time. As strong as the darks were, the light was still as fierce as ever, and those wielders had a way of overcoming insurmountable odds. They'd need every ounce of strength at their disposal to win this. Satsujin pulled his katana into a defensive stance, still sheathed so as not to actually injure Kaxar in a counterattack. "I'm lead to believe that you chose the Guardian. But which did you give up? The sword or the staff, it doesn't matter which. Whichever you gave up has little point in even trying, so come at me with the other." Said the assassin. He sacrificed the guardian himself, so defending outright wouldn't be the best option. Instead, he would parry anything she threw at him. Beuce lay in his bed, hands behind his head. Seeing Eon again made him think about the old days. He wondered how Krowley and Base were doing. He went through more than one world with the two of them. It was only then a familiar feeling hit him. "My Ananta senses are tingling." Yes, he had "Ananta senses" and the tingled. He giggled, thinking the feeling was rather funny.
Command the universe to build a closer one. Trust me, it wouks.
Satsujin sat silently by Caleb and Kaxar as they trained, Narukami sheathed by his side. Kaxar's defense was good, but if she was too used to her opponent holding back, it would cost her in a real fight. Luckily, she ordered Caleb to correct this. This was interesting to watch. He trailed off in his mind, thinking of the keyblade. He may be able to summon one now. He considered trying it, but didn't. His goal was to defeat R, and Narukami was the way he was going to do it. Should a keyblade present itself to him later, he wouldn't object. For the moment though, he was content with his weapon. Returning to reality, he stood and approached the two. "Care for some assistance?" The heartless slowly floated down, landing beside the cowering girl. He placed a hand on her shoulder, attempting to encourage her. "Do not be afraid. You hold the mightiest weapon of all." With a swipe of his keyblade, the darkness was immediately driven back from the surface of the platform, revealing the glass beneath. It was at bay for now, but unless they hurried it would take Sapphire's mind. On each third of the platform was a pillar with the dream weapons. "Choose the form which it takes."
The man stared at the duo as they began counterattacking. One would expect him to dodge, but he did no such thing. He simply stood there. He didn't defend, and didn't make the slightest effort to evade. The glowing bullets struck right through him, and Ishimura's blades tore apart his skin. Most would yell from agonizing pain, but The Hangman seemed utterly unphased by it. At first glance it would seem he deflected the attacks somehow, but upon closer inspection, you would notice that the injures had been there only to heal instantaniously. He reached out a large hand, attempting to grab Ishimura as rope began inching out of his sleeve. "That won't happen." Quinn snapped. "I won't let it happen. She knew what she was doing when she was captured, and i'm pretty sure she was counting on us to rescue her." Quinn said. In his voice was the tone of a leader, encouraging and strong, although he would never accept that if someone told him so. "But Cammy, if we're going to rescue her, we have to be prepared. Running off alone wouldn't solve a thing but get you killed. You have to put your faith in me. I'll talk to Caleb, and we'll go after her." Encouraged Quinn. "For now, we just have to head back."
lol well you gotta see that lol. Why were you late on your first day? I was watching a transformers mini movie Oh, well in that case it's...
No, pink is evil! IT REMINDS ME NOTHING OF THE HUNT!
Beuce didn't take much damage from atop his summon, due to most not being able to reach him. The few air-capable heartless that did manage to reach him were quickly dispatched by the keyblade. Jets of water rained down on the heartless below until the two people in the room crazier than Beuce began agitating the heartless again. With a groan, Beuce stopped the water and descended. He quickly laid waste to a few shadows around the pair with a well placed combo. Now that they had a moment to spare, he heaved the two madmen up onto the elephant. "Keep these two out of trouble." Dumbo nodded and flew into the air, carrying the hatter and hare with him. From aloft, Dumbo began using RapidFire to assist the party. Beuce, meanwhile, stomped out about 3 soldiers which went after him with two combos. His sights were now set on a large body. First came a strike raid, getting it injured enough to begin its berserker. Next, Beuce waited for the charge. He let it come to him, but stopped it dead in its tracks. There seemed to no longer be any ground to leave tracks in for the beast as it began floating. "You know, i dunno why i don't use gravity more. Seems pretty useful." A jump and a combo knocked the nearly-dead large body over to Base. Leaving it for him to easily finish off, the red-clad wielder went after one of the new plant heartless. He was trying to stay fairly agressive.
It probably will be lol.
The heartless raced through the forest until he came across Sapphire laying flat against the ground. Standing above her was a girl giving her a mega-potion. "That will take care of any exterior injuries, but what's wrong is far worse than that." R said, making his presence known. He hurried over to her and kneeled over Sapphire. "The darkness in her heart has overtaken her...She won't be able to conquer it alone. I'll have to put her through awakening." R said, standing and summoning his spiked keyblade. With a black light radiating from the tip, Sapphire's chest began to glow. The next thing he knew, he was falling. A deep black surrounded him. Beneath him, he could see hints of stained glass, but it was mostly covered by a thick darkness. This was bad, She was almost lost. It was likely too late to save her heart. All he could do was save her mind.
Ugh. forget what i was on in my leveling cycle... I'm just gonna take a shot in the dark and say i was on intelligence. So spending my point on that
Beuce was glad to see that Krowley had his back. As cocky as he was, allies made things easier. Although Beuce would never admit that out loud. With a swip of his keyblade, he deflected a seed back at one of the flower heartless, then yet another. "Huh...I'm actually pretty good at that...wonder why..." For some reason, the thought that it had something to do with demons came to mind. He was snapped out of it by a sharp pain in his back. A shadow had used a clawing attack from behind him. It didn't live long after that. Beuce let loose a combo on it. He was nearly hit by another, however he leaped to safety just in time. A swiftly executed strike raid put that heartless down, along with irritate a large body behind it. The thing began wildly flailing and jumping up and down. With only a slight warning, it began to charge Beuce. Not quite quick enough, the wielder took quite a heavy hit. He'd be feeling that in the morning, but he wasn't quite down for the count yet. Quickly recovering from the attack, he rolled behind it to counter. A heavy combo sent the large body flying across the are they were in. "Good god, lose some weight tubby!" He screamed at the heartless. "Here, let me help you burn a few calories." Following the horrid pun was a fire spell. The blazing orb raced across the grass and finished off its target. Beuce allowed him self a brief chuckle at his pun. This time, he learned that when you get distracted, heartless sneak up behind you. An unfortunate shadow was impaled by his keyblade for attempting a pre-emptive stike. Heartless began to surround him, so etting out of the immediate thick of things was a good idea. He raced over to behind Krowley and summoned dumbo. Mounting the tiny elephant, Beuce issued the command to spray his foes with a stream of water from above. "Yes! Fly my pretty! Fly!"
Told you lol. Me and my sorcery helping you xD
Satsujin stepped forward silently as well, ready to undertake the ordeal. He was ready for the darkness which came flowing into him from the hands of Eon. The next thing he knew, he was standing on a glass platform, surrounded by darkness. It was largly purple in color, which an image of himself kneeling down with Narukami planted in the ground as its main picture. On the platform's edges were three pedastles, each holding a weapon. First he walked to the sword. As he grasped hold of the handle, a voice in his head gave a chryptic description of what exactly he held. '"The power of the warrior. Invincible Courage, A sword of terrible destruction. Is this the power you seek?" It was likely so, but the assassin placed the blade back on its pedastle. He wanted to investigate the other two before making his decision. Next came the shield. "The power of the guardian. Kindness to aid friends. A shield to repel all. Is this the power you seek?" After thinking this over, he decided this would likely be the power he gave up. After all, how he usually operated was in ending the fight before you need to take a hit. Repelling attacks would prove of little value in this endeavor. Finally, the staff was next."The power of the mystic. Inner strength. A staff of wonder and ruin. Is this the power you seek?" After one quick recap in his mind of the choices presented to him, he decided. Walking over to the sword, the message for it was repeated. He nodded as it vanished in a flash of light. When asked to give something up in exchange, he walked to the shield. Upon taking it, it faded away into small specks of light. "Your path is set." Said the voice in his head. The sword which he had chosen as his path reappeared in his right hand as the pedastles sank into the ground. It was time to face his enemy. What appeared before him was no surprise. He had been expecting it the entire time. The blank stare from those red eyes seemed to penetrate your very soul. The figure of R stood before him. Satsujin surpressed the anger at the sight of him and calmed his mind. If he let it get to him, he'd surely lose himself. He stood opposite the phantom R on the other end of the platform. This battle would be quick, he could tell. After conjuring a simple sword, R charged at him. This was nowhere near the strength of the real thing, but that was no reason for the assassin to hold back. Returning the charge, they met in the middle of the pillar, R attempting to impale his foe. Satsujin, however, did something unexpected. The result of his training. "Tsubaméhanta" He uttered. The assassin delivered not one slash, but three. What made this move significant was that they weren't simply quickly executed. Through sheer godlike skill, they were simultanious. With that one swift motion, R lay face-down against the glass behind him. His eyes fluttered open, to find Beuce and Eon looking at him from above. He seemed to be sitting against the wall of the tower. From the looks of things, he was the first to awaken. "Morning sunshine. Looks like you're the first one up. Congrats. So what path did you choose?" Inquired Beuce. He was curious as to the choices of everyone else. "I chose the warrior and gave up the guardian." Satsujin answered honestly. "Same as me. Good man." Beuce said, giving the assassin a pat on the shoulder and helping him up. R was still unable to decide when Gexln began to speak. He said he could handle things. After giving him a nod, R took off running in the direction they had come from. Bursting out the door, he saw Xero speaking with an unfamiliar girl. He knew Xero had gotten the distress signal and thus there was no need to explain where he was going. "Xero. I trust you can help Gexln. Your younger self could dismiss it as merely someone who looked similar to herself." With that, R hurried into a dark corridor to twilight town. He raced through the town toward the forest, passing a young girl along the way. He could sense the darkness overflowing from Sapphire. He just hoped he wasn't too late.
Ah i'm sure you'll do fine
Dat E
Happy birthday :) That sounds fun Hope he's fun lol
Beuce was ready to help Eon teach them the technique when Louvel stormed off mumbling about what a stupid idea this was. He groaned, why was Louvel always storming off to his room? From his bottomless pocket full of junk, Beuce pulled a megaphone. He began yelling at Louvel through it. "Attention Louvel. This is Beuce. Please remove the knot from your panties at once at come out." Once that was finished, Beuce sighed and put it away. "Seriously. I swear he's on his period 24/7." Next, Beuce turned to the rest of the group as though that hadn't happened. He was now uncharacteristcally serious. "Look, i know what you all may be thinking. 'Isn't the darkness what we're fighting?' 'Why should we let it into out hearts?' 'It's evil' and such. But i'm here to tell you that darkness isn't what you make it out to be. The darkness is only as evil as the one who uses it. The thing about it is that it has a tempting power, and most end up losing themselves in this. Light can be just as evil as darkness in the wrong hands. I've seen what it can do, and it's not pretty." Beuce said, thinking back to something from his past. "Neither one can exist without the other. Blindly following one side while scorning the other because that's the way you're told it should be just shows that you're weak minded. If you can accept and understand both, you'll be stronger than either." The keyblade wielder sighed, finishing his speech. Any who knew him well enough would know how difficult that must have been for him. For Beuce, being serious was once compared to breaking your own fingers. He sighed, having finished the speech. "I won't lie, this isn't exactly safe. But as long as you don't lose yourself, you'll be fine. Any who still want to do this, step forward. Eon, i'm ready when you are." "Clearly not." Said the disappointed nobody as he stared at the girl losing her heart to the darkness. Such a pity. She turned out to be a weakling after all. Peering into her mind, he realized she had called for R, her heartless protector. "Now what makes you think R would come for someone like you? A weakling who couldn't even handle her own darkness. Its almost laughable." He said cruely, as he drove his foot into her side. Growing bored with this girl, he turned and walked toward the mansion, ready to probe the computer's secrets. Credit for the banner goes to the lovely and ever talented miss Xero. The heartless followed along with his "partner"'s act of being a secret agent. As stylishly as the human mind could comprehend, he waved his hand and materialized a pair of mirrored sunglasses and placed them over his eyes. He stared at Roe with a cold expression on his face. She had come here through a door, same as they did. What kind of anomaly had let her enter here? Surely it wasn't Merlin. They would have to investigate this at a later date. Their main goal here was the stone. However, Roe seemed to want to come along. This was troublesome. She didn't seem to be possessed by ansem yet, and going into the dark realm certainly wasn't the way to protect her from it. His train of thought was cut short by a sort of feeling. Like a sixth sense. This extra sense was granted by the stones he created for contact between the darks. This one in particular was Sapphire's. He knew that because Gexln held one of the stones, it would reach him as well. Could he handle getting the stone alone? Could R even trust him with such a task? Maybe not. He wasn't sure what to do. Help Sapphire or secure the stone...
