Yuki sighed as she sat on the couch.
Yuki took Cara back home. "Make yourself comfortable."
"He might have your scent, but you'll be safe with me."
"He's turning into a shadow, a demon that kills indiscriminately. I've been trying to find some way to reverse the process."
"You're lying through your teeth, Zain."
"As if you could take me in a fight, Zain." Yuki said as Lucifer put a protective shield over Cara.
Yuki held her back. "Don't go near him. He'll only try to kill you in the state he's in. I'll have to subdue him." She said as she drew her scythe, not noticing her illusion fell off when she dove in the water. Her wings were demonic and a bright red glow was in her eyes.
Yuki was shocked and ran to help Cara. She dove in and grabbed Zain by the neck and flung him out of the water against a tree.
Yuki looked on, ready to spring into action if he tried to hurt Cara.
Yuki took great care to make sure that Zain couldn't detect her.
Yuki nodded and followed Zain.
"Trust me, I'm good at sneaking around. Remember when we snuck into the school that one night?"
"I'm gonna follow him. I don't want him getting into trouble."
"I'm worried that Zain is going to hurt someone tonight."
"Yeah, I guess so. We'll find out tomorrow."
"You ok back there, Zain? I'm not going to have to put you in the cage, am I?"
"I see. Maybe now he'll actually try and impress you."
"Why do you say that?"
"The two of you make a great couple."
"Yeah. I broke up with him when he told me about his engagement to you. I felt it was for the best."
