Well, sort of. It was more like two feet in difference. Xardius was nearly eight feet tall. Xardius shrugged. "Only if it involves throwing you through a window..."
"I'll take that as sarcasm," Xardius said. "No, I'd just like a personal assistant, and since you obviously don't want the bozo over there, I'll take him. I need somebody. I just thought I'd be nice and not make you search the UPA over for the perfect person."
Xardius kicked the guard out of the way and stormed in. "I want Mr. Heynolds for my personal assistant!" he yelled as loud as he could, which was pretty loud.
"Hold it," Xardius said. "I want Mr. Heynolds as my personal assistant."
Xardius didn't follow them. Instead, he headed for another building, where currently Mellodia and "Mr. Heynolds" were being held. Listening at the door and heard the argument... Perfect, he thought.
Xardius smirked.
Xardius punched Lexx in the face. "That's currently the amount of pain I've had to endure from this guy wacking me on the back of the head the whole trip," Xardius said, a temple pulsing.
"Um, sure," Xardius said, hitting the gas back towards the...original place...that was never named...
Xardius shook his head. "And yet we're working for them...OK, we're here. Grab him and let's go."
"Who gave the UPA legal authority to tax people?" Xardius grumbled, pulling down the street previously mentioned.
Xardius roared up the engine and drove quickly over there... "One wonders where they're getting all this money in the first place," Xardius muttered. "And one wonders how much they really have to be able to pay us, as Nulix put it, millions on a regular basis..."
"Hmph," Xardius said. "So long as he pays us..." Xardius looked at the GPS, and nodded. Pulling out his cellphone, he called Wing quickly and asked him to bring the Dueling Dragons over. Within a few minutes, Wing had driven the gummi over. "It'll take us about 5 or so minutes to go over there," Xardius said. "It'll kind of be a tight fit, but I think we can manage for the time..." He climbed in, motioning for Nulix to follow him.
"I was going to let you win," Xardius said. "But your ship rather fell apart on me..." "But I'll tell you something, Nulix," Xardius said, rubbing a hand through his hair and sighing. "There's four kinds of people out there: there's the cowards, there's the angry, there's the careful, and there's the brave. The cowards hang in the back, waiting for an opening when they can strike and make their fortune; the angry attack you with everything they've got all the time; the careful hold their own, but let the others wear themselves down before making their move; and the brave: the brave ride through the war with flying colors. They might not win, but they certainly fought the good fight." "Nulix," Xardius said. "You were one of the brave in that race. Just wanted you to know that. So, what's going on?"
The Brotherhood guy ran off... Xardius kind of just stood there...feeling stupid...
OOC: Good point, Xane...See you Pirate... But I'm still stuck waiting for Pirate to, er, tell me what to do with the rescued Brotherhood member...
Xardius sat there....
OOC: So now what? EDIT: About Xardius, I mean...and the Brotherhood guy...
OOC: I'm such a caring person aren't I...
Xardius continued sprinting all the way to the Brotherhood member and the black sand...making it there in good time. "Hey," he said. "Come to mock me as I die," the Brotherhood member growled. "How fitting." "Um, no, not really," Xardius said, yanking the Brotherhood member out of the sand. "Just helping you." The Brotherhood member looked at him. "Why?" "We're all people," Xardius said honestly.
OOC: Not really my fault...(Well, about not being here, anyway...) BIC: Xardius calmly disappeared before the crowd could get there (by which meant he sprinted from the field as fast as he could).
