OOC: Yeah, go Xardius... BIC: Sorion listened to their conversation with interest, while simultaneously delivering a roundhouse to Wing's face, ducking the scissor cuts.
OOC: Someone take over for a minute, I'll be back in a few.
Sorion felt picked on, but it hardly mattered. He flitted like a ghost, smashing into people, batting away Wing's keyblades with ease, kicking Ziya in the gut, cracking his sword hilt into Josh's face, nicking Xane's shoulder...etc.
OOC: Jordan, insane maniacal song that someone somewhere managed to get 100% on. I'm lucky I passed it. (which struck awe into everyone who watched me do it, lol). BIC: Sorion, while fighting Mellodia and Xane both, hardly moved out of pattern to bash the twilight out of the way.
Sorion took the blow as if he'd been hit by a pillow, and engaged with Mellodia in swordplay.
Sorion simply smiled. Ziya swallowed. "You know, Xane, when they really do think they can, that's when things get scary." Sand erupted around Ziya, blowing towards Sorion in the form of supersonic bullets. Josh's spear was yanked from his back. Sorion sped forward, blowing back through the bullets, and slashing at all the peoples at once. OOC: I'll probably have Ziya and Josh back you up on this.
The shadows shifted. "You are correct in assuming I already know you are here. It's been a long time, Xane." Sorion appeared from the shadows. "I don't suppose you remember me from that cave on Sapphire." Pulling a sword from its sheath, he carefully aimed it at the intruders. "Don't expect to win." *** "Do that," the man said. "I'll be waiting for you to wake up." And he disappeared.
The man stared at him. "Are you really that stupid or are you just in denial?" *** The vehicle hardly slowed as it exited warpspace and slammed down towards a world where a dark city resided, lit only by a waning moon. "Correct," Ziya said. "Though I'm not sure what it's really called." "Head straight for the source," Josh said, hitting the brakes as he slammed into one of the taller buildings, the glass shattering and the gummi halting instantly. "He'll know we're here now," Josh said. "Everybody out."
"Yes, you can, actually," the man said, "so do it already." OOC: Ah, back to one sentence posts...
"Next stop: the land of moon," Josh said. "This should be...fun..." He hit the warp button, and jetted into the inky black darkness of space... OOC: Give me a second to come up with some stuff...
OOC: And so I am... BIC: "Don't think you can get rid of me that easily," the man said, behind Vecked. "I'm stuck with you, despite probably both of our best wishes." *** "Sorion is the guy that Scourge put in charge of everything while he was gone," Ziya said. "We take him out and the whole thing goes kaput." *** Meanwhile...Magna and Maria were musing over Niles' sudden reappearance...after all, it had been a long time... *** Maggie, Simon, and Xardius silently padded through the streets, heading for the manor on the hill, where Eclipse was supposedly living at the moment.
OOC: I'll be back later, but for now. BIC: "This is turning into a regular party," the man said, slumped against the wall behind Vecked (in the same cell.) "You've got your old buddy Saak Flate, your old buddy Wing here...What more could you need?"
OOC: Sorry guys I gotta go, Be back tomorrow though.
OOC: I shouldn't really decide everything, Jaxed, then it wouldn't be your plot...Whatever strikes your fancy...If you want to do Jamerin, have Darxess show up. OR Darxess could be in the dungeon. It doesn't matter to me (I have to go within 20 minutes anyway...)
"There's only so much one can do at a single time," Xardius reminded Xane. "Taking out these Brotherhood members will be a step closer to uprooting the Brotherhood completely." "So, who's coming with me to take down Eclipse?" Xardius asked the Guardians. Simon raised a hand, and Maggie nodded. Josh spoke up. "I'll be going with Xane then." Ziya nodded in agreement. "The rest of us will track down other targets," Patrick said. "I'll stay here in case any of you need to contact anyone quickly." Xardius walked out with Maggie and Simon in tow. Josh and Ziya walked up to Xane. "What do you know about Sorion?" Josh asked.
OOC: Better yet, have Jaxed be in the same jail as Vecked and Saak Flate. Darxess can run into Jamerin, sometime.
OOC: Jamerin Vadoozine. The guy who kidnapped Orb. Nasty guy to run into at the moment, since he hates Darxess' guts. BIC: "Interesting story," came the Jack's voice from the door. "We listened outside." (Also known as Josh). The Ace (also known as Maggie) stepped in beside him. "I'd have to ask Roth's opinion on the subject," Magna said, and Maria gave her a small smile (there's an interesting story there, but...). Simon nodded. "I agree. Until then...let's hold on the decision on this subject." Patrick stepped forward. "Now that we're all here, we can outline our plan to you." "The Brotherhood is on a roll, as is the UPA," Patrick said. "Although we're much more worried about the Brotherhood. Despite what many people seem to think, the Brotherhood not only has an army over a million strong, but we haven't even covered half of the dark worlds yet, which is where Scourge has gone." He cleared his throat. "What we propose is to send one UO member, as your ranks are numbered, with several Guardians and a contingent of Enigmatic Knights to take down Brotherhood members and armies alike." Xardius' brow furrowed. "Who did you have in mind?" "We know the location of three: Kardas, Sorion, and Eclipse, the last two being rather powerful and influential within the Brotherhood," Josh, the Jack, said. "We were hoping to send a few Guardians after Kardas, and one of you two against both of the others at once." "What do you think?" Maggie, the Ace, asked, folding her arms and coolly observing the lot.
Xardius' expression had hardened upon immediately hearing the word "Phoenix," but no one else seemed to have noticed.
The Guardians looked interested. Xardius looked confused. They both waited for Venture to continue. OOC: I'm sure you'll be fine Jaxed. Don't be so self-conscious.
"Here," Patrick said, opening a door and stepping inside. Inside the building stood Ziya, Guardian of Sand, Simon, Guardian of Ice, Magna, Guardian of Fire, and Maria, Guardian of Ice. "Where's the Jack and Ace?" Patrick asked. "Coming," Simon said, eying the UO members. "We have our forces parked in orbit, waiting for orders." Amazingly enough, all 2000 Enigmatic Knights that had entered the dark worlds and engaged with Brotherhood forces had survived, though some had taken heavy wounds. By now, however, they were fully recovered and ready for action. "So, we found a place to rest, Venture..." Xardius said.
