Posting in here to claim my reward just in case because i'm not sure where to post
I would just like to point out that Eon did not find stripes.
So you're cool with it if i mind rape you now right? *goes all Betelgeuse up in here and imitates your voice perfectly* Why yes that would be...
Word on the street is she was pretty hot.
R opened his mouth to speak as Gexln ran by, asking him if he liked children. The answer was indeed about to be no, but he was interrupted. Before he could say anything, he was now tasked with protecting Gexln's daughter. He hadn't been aware that he had one, although it seemed that neither did Gexln until recently. As he approached the group with Juliet in it, he raised an eyebrow of mild interest at Xero. "Aren't you a little young to have a teenage daughter?" he asked, due to obligations on the part of the author. He turned his gaze to Juliet, seemingly inspecting her. He could sense the power of both light and darkness within her, or "Chaos" as it was better known. She maybe be of help to him, but he was charged with protecting her so he didn't plan on sending her to the front lines any time soon. In any case, he had come to them for a reason. R reached out and grabbed Xero's hand in the position one would a handshake. When he let go, the stone was left in her grasp. "Keep it secret, keep it safe." his gaze said. Though the words weren't spoken aloud, the message was clear. "Xapphires...Very well. Although stay within my sight. Gexln asked me to protect her, and i will." All that remained was for the darks to carry out the strategy. From the looks of things, Gexln and Xindai seemed to be doing so.
"An interesting trick you have there. Gravity magic is it?" Xindai inquired as the girl began to orbit him and the ship crushing Azurite's leg seemed to weigh no more than a feather. He readied himself for the arrows. He didn't teleport away. It was now two against one. This might up the challenge a bit. Still, he wasn't trying to beat them, only lead them to the canyon. Once there, his enemies would fall. Every single one of them. The arrows approached. One he smacked away with his keyblade, the second he pushed back with a telekinetic shove, and the third scraped by his arm, leaving a sizable cut. Xindai, however, ignored it for the moment. Next, he floated upwards to Lysa's level with his abilities of the mind, and send out a large bust of telekinetic energy right as she was in position to be shot toward the canyon. Meanwhile, Gexln wouldn't be the only person turned to serve him. Next came the wall...'You've turned from the light and into the darkness already. It shrouds you, comforts you. This is good. My creation fills the holes of loss. It seems you're missing more than just a heart.' R scanned over his forces for a suitable candidate to receive this power. Gexln was an option, but it would appear that he was doing just fine on his own. In addition, he was somewhat untrustworthy. Kaya, as much as he would have liked to give her the stone, couldn't receive it. She had disobeyed his orders and engaged Louvel in combat. If Louvel managed to wrest the stone from her control and use it on Excalibur, there wasn't a force in this or any world that could save them. Xero...yes. She'd be the perfect candidate. He had known her for quite some time, and considered her a friend. She was his choice. He made his way to her direction. Beuce reacted quickly and unexpectedly to Enox's now poisonous keyblade. His keyblade glowed frosty blue with the power of ice. He infused it with the magic used for Vorpal Blitz. An overhead swing met Enox's keyblade, freezing the poison solid and binding both of their weapons and the hands holding them in a case of ice. With no hesitation, Beuce shoved his arm forward to bend his opponent's over his shoulder. It wasn't that difficult. Beuce was fairly strong, and Eon hadn't exactly been known for his astounding physical prowess. That was his wife. with a swipe of his other hand, Beuce grabbed onto Enox's face, and cast a point blank Firaga from his palm. High defense or no, surely that did a bit of damage.
Spending one point on intelligence my good man.
Beuce perked up at the mention of a keyhole "Keyhole? We need to seal that don't we? I'm good at sealing those. Isn't that right Base?" He said, playfully nudging the mystic with his elbow. The location of it couldn't have been more obvious if they'd put a sign a mile back saying "Keyhole this way". Plus, they were conveniently enough right next to it! As the doorknob yawned, a shining sound was heard, and the keyhole revealed itself. Beuce cracked his knuckles. "One sealed keyhole coming right up." Frolic Flame was still in his hand from the fight, so there had been no need to summon it. After a moment of thinking on a way to seal it, Beuce spun the weapon in a 360 degree circle and caught the end with his hand. He looked down the edge and held it as though it were a sniper rifle. Beuce made a "Pew" noise as the beam of light shot out of it's tip and into the keyhole. The clicking noise of a lock followed a brief glow. With the immediate tasks for it done, the keyblade faded from existence in it's wielder's hand. The young keyblader let a large yawn escape his mouth. "Alrighty, that's done. Now do we go back to the land of departure or what?"
Beuce chuckled slightly. He had been small shortly before, but now he was in the state he'd hoped for originally. An enormous, power packed stated. A mocking grin was shot at the jabberwocky. "Yeah not so tough now are you?" He said, giving it a one-fingered shove. "Guess what? I got a surprise for you! IT'S A VORPAL BLITZ HAHA!" Beuce said, imbedding his keyblade with the power of Ice. He bent his knees, then leaped several feet into the air. With a mighty overhead swing, it came crashing down onto the poor jabberwocky. But he wasn't finished yet. He jumped again, only this time higher. Once again the keyblade brought down a massive hit against the boss. One final time, Beuce leaped incredibly high into the air. This last hit was by far the mightiest of the three. The jabberwocky was driven straight into a crater in the ground from the massive strength behind the blow. "OH! WHAT!" Beuce yelled, then made a rather rude gesture at the likely pain-wracked boss. OOC: By plowing the jabberwocky into the ground, Beuce went vorpal blitz to the third power and did 184 damage
Blood of Cu Chulainn ~ Boondock Saints
Beuce didn't respond to Enox's taunts, and barely took note of his son's arrival. Merely nodding in his direction as if to say "You can handle her". Instead, he got into a fighting stance. An unorthodox stance, holding his keyblade at his side, halfway between forward and backhanded. Beuce was strong not because he had some amazing attack or ability up his sleeve. No, he was incredibly good with close quarters combat and some would say a master tactician. His eyes scanned the nobody, looking for some weakness. A flaw in his defense. A crack in the great wall. His keyblade's ability would be essential for this fight. It had the effect of leeching the life out of his opponent on contact. There were few who had the raw power capable of breaking Eon's defense, likely even less now that he had the powers of a nobody. However, he didn't need to break his defense. All he needed to do was hit him. Even if the attack didn't go through and pierce his skin, it would drain his very essence out of his body. One foot out, Beuce held his stance as he advanced. Spoiler: battle music He wasn't too worried about taking hits. Eon didn't hit hard. His strength was in taking so many hits his opponent wore down before he did. He skillfully advanced to striking distance, at which point he firmly gripped his keyblade so that his wrist was against the butt of his keyblade. A quick horizontal swipe was delivered at waist level, seamlessly followed by spinning the keyblade with his fingers between the handle (also an attack) and returning to it's original stance. R wrapped his fingers around the halfstone. The cold chill of darkness and the warm glow of light both in the same object. It was a strange sensation, identical to the one which rested in his pocket. He retrived it, and held on in each of his hand. Slowly, he placed the two together. Instantly they rejoined into one solid piece. A wave of power blew outward, but R's expression remained as blank as ever. Now, he held the very object he'd been counting on this whole time to win the war. The eternity stone. Capable of putting a keyblade into a heightened state of existence, causing it to draw ever closer to the original. By flooding it with both light and darkness simultaneously, it drew power from the X-blade itself. However, it could only be used once, then would have to recharge until it could place another keyblade into this state. Who should receive such a blessing?
I wonder what you'll come up with.
Glen has asked me to tell you that he likely will not be able to post for the next 2 weeks or so.
The whole world seemed to slow down to a grinding halt. Pain show through Beuce's left shoulder as a snap was heard from it. He was rolling on the ground, having been knocked down by R. But none of that mattered. He had seen Ananta die. He'd gone after a lot of women, but her...She was the only one he'd ever really loved. Now she was gone. Taken from him right in front of his eyes. He stumbled to his feet, using his keyblade for support. He slowly walked over toward the place his lover had been. R watched the white haired man stand and begin to walk, paying him no mind. He had crashed after taking a hit to the wheel, and likely broken a shoulder. And yet, he barely seemed to notice. He was only concerned about one thing. The green haired girl who had just perished, encasing Enox in a sheet of ice. "A heart's power...Remarkable." R muttered. "I can't let you have that sto-" He was interrupted by a small sound on the ground. Beuce had willingly thrown him the stone, apparently having lost interest in it. Only one thing mattered to that young wielder now. Revenge. Beuce limped over to the block of ice. He was bruised and his arm hurt, but that was nothing compared to the pain on the inside. His normally carefree sarcasm was missing from his eyes. It had been replaced by an angry fire which held back tears. He held out his keyblade. Not the keyblade he had been using, HIS keyblade. the one made to reflect his personality. Bleeding soul, as it was called. A dark red keyblade, resembling guardian soul. A black metal stripe went up the middle, and the hilt was black crystal. right where the hilt and blade met, a bright red gem shone. From the tip, a firaga was launched at the ice, causing it to melt instantly. He glared fiercely at the nobody of Eon. He had once been a friend to him. He'd joked around and fought by his side. None of that mattered anymore. Beuce had been barely trying through this war. He couldn't be bothered to put his all into anything. Now, he'd show how he got his title of The Crimson Scourge. He was about to put every ounce of strength he had into killing Enox, and when Beuce is serious about killing you...Well, you'd better pick a god and pray, because you'll be seeing them soon enough. Satsujin grasped his face, blood leaking from the cuts rapidly. Through sheer willpower he didn't cry out in pain. His vision was blurred by the red liquid. This was bad. He wouldn't last long like this. He wiped some of the blood on his Kimono, and looked at Xero. Though he was ashamed of it, he knew he'd been beaten. She would go to help Gexln, and the two of them would likely overwhelm him. He was unable to pay his debt. "You...Have won...Do as you will." He said, dropping his sword and collapsing face-first into the ground. Xindai smirked at the ship crashing down toward him. The wouldn't be bothering anyone. Well, no one he didn't want it to at least. Even with all his telekinetic powers, stopping that crashing ship dead in it's tracks would be a difficult feat. So instead, why not use it? Rather than stopping it, he let it continue on it's course. As Azurite went to stab him, he skillfully dodged and went for a sweeping kick to trip him up. Then, he reached out with his mind and grasped the craft, speeding it toward them. Finally as it was just about to crash, he teleported out of harm's way, leaving Azurite to be crushed.
Satsujin was somewhat relieved that she had willingly given him his katana. Whatever that presence before was, it seemed to be gone for the moment. He was glad of it. This girl fought with honor. She wouldn't fight him unarmed. If he ended up wining this fight, he would have to make it a point not to take her life. He owed her that at least. He raised Narukami toward the sky, summoning lightning to strike it. The metal of the blade hummed with energy. With a quick slash, it was all dispelled toward her. Xindai looked up at the gummi ship laying waste to the heartless summoned by the third most powerful of the darks. That could prove troublesome. Xindai had Azurite occupied with his glaive from a range, so why not take that out? He conjured some of his darkness in his palm. It was far more potent than the darkness of the wielders today. He changed it's form, causing it to hum as electricity. With one quick thrust of his palm, an incredible dark Thundaza went forward and through the wing of the fighter ship, taking it clean off.
Seeing as Beuce was now tiny, and he was a bit occupied with being underneath a shoe, attack seemed a moot point at the moment. The team was starting to wear down after that last lightning blast. Beuce decided that it would be best to go ahead and make himself as useful as possible. He hefted out a mega-potion which was being kept I don't even know where. Possibly the invisible RPG item storage closet. Either way, he lifted a bottle bigger than he was, and smashed it against the bottom of Base's shoe. Somehow, that healed the entirety of the team.
Fred, would it be possible for you to help me make a fabled deck?
Rowan charged up yet another fireball in the palms of his hands. He was running low on magic. This would be the last arte he could use in a row. After that, he'd have to either use melee against the beast, which he didn't believe would exactly offer him a tactical advantage, or use his orange gel. Which he'd like to save if possible. So far, he hadn't taken a single hit. He was grateful for it, but his teammates had taken them instead. He looked at Raine, making a mental note to thank her for keeping them alive after the battle was over. They needed to finish this quickly Fredric was starting to look pale. With a thrust of his palm, he hurled the ball of flame toward the Cerbantine.
Well you could join in on an existing fight. The strategy WAS to have multiple people fighting the darks. Azurite could probably use some help.
He's a Xehanort.
