OOC: Kingdom Hearts is a great game and all, but it's not OUR game. If we ever want to move on from a simple RP, and I do want to, then we'll have to move on from Kingdom Hearts.
OOC: OK, one at a time. First of all, Nulix approached me with a PM asking us how we could redo the fanfiction so it wouldn't be a Kingdom Hearts spinoff tale like it was at the beginning (although I can debate that). I'd already been thinking about it, so I came up with an idea that I think will take care of all our problems. PIRATE - The story arcs won't be a problem; even from the beginning, the RP has not implemented Kingdom Hearts characters in every detail of its story, and more a story that uses characters and worlds that have already been stated to its advantage. No story arcs would be changed; simply some of the characters involved. And since all of the major characters are our own original stunts, replacing characters is no problem. As for the worlds, we took the names and flew with them. I sincerely doubt we'll have any trouble by simply renaming and changing a few details about the worlds, as they were practically our own original works with an old spin on them. Wow, what a monologue. JAXED - See above. But, you also mentioned Nobodies. I'm working on it, but I already have an alternative to Kingdom Hearts, and the Heartless. I also have an idea of what to do for the UO and other people like them, since the Nobodies are really based off a "racist" theme, at least in our RP. If we made the UO members have something wrong with them, such as a sickness that many people believe is highly contagious, we have the same problems with a different theme. WING - No one wants to steal your ideas. Honestly, I'm working on my own stuff too. But I do see this as an opportunity to tie our works together; we could have the UO be the climax of both our stories! If you're not okay with that, it's totally fine, I understand. But I'd love to have Wing in the UO. Any more questions? My internet crashed yesterday, but I fixed it this morning. EDIT: Oh, and what Nulix said above was a brief description of the three main mega-arcs of the UO; we're going to start where we arrive in "Kingdom Hearts", and then as we exit, we'll recap back to the beginning when we first formed (though that will probably be through flashbacks), and then skip to after we come out of Kingdom Hearts to where we are now. There might be another arc in there, splitting off about the time we really began fighting the Brotherhood. EDIT2: HEY LOOK! IT'S PEOPLE!!! :O
Hey! Glad to see new faces here. Hope you like it!
OOC: I'll have to see if I can upload a picture through my local library, lol. A magic-enhancing battle staff would be really cool. And, for Pirate's sake, it matters in this: Our storyline has literally little to do with Kingdom Hearts, other than our basis being off it. Our story is extensive and well-thought out; if we could pull our RP away from Kingdom Hearts, we could publish our own idea, and maybe get an official video game, or book, or something. So, we do what we can to take our basis away from Kingdom Hearts and more into our own ideas.
OOC: Maybe you could edit in the link instead of the picture, that would get rid of the page stretch. They're good for Organization XIII, but I think we really want to kind of...take off from Kingdom Hearts, so different outfits and designs would be needed...Actually, me and Nulix are working on that right now.
OOC: My fish are still alive...FYI.
OOC: NICE. I also got fish.
OOC: Probably some local theme park like always. I've only been there a couple of times, so it should be fun. And yes, I'm rearing my head. Fortunately, I haven't been ONLY sitting on my butt (or playing Guitar Hero, lol), so I do have some stuff plotted. Now if only everyone makes it back as well...
Well, I tried it today, and honestly, I'm disappointed. I can't seem to be able to do anything with it. Instead of having you place the notes, and then play it back to you, it has you place them as if you were playing it, with the time running, so if you mess up...kapooie. Plus, they'll only allow you to do certain notes at a time, and jump two octaves any time you try to place notes (it's really touchy). I might get the hang of it sooner or later, but for now, don't count on anything great coming from my sucky music editor thing that I wasted my money on... Anyway.... MERRY CHRISTMAS! Although the day is probably nearly over for most of you...
OOC: It almost sounds like it would be good for intense situations...like before the Enigmatic Knight battle, or something like that.
OOC: Actually, I'm getting for Christmas this music editor thing that will allow me to make songs on it...so I'm working on theme songs for the UO people. If you guys have old songs like that (like Jaxed), I can revamp them (if I have the notes; going by hear hurts my brain...) Of course, I can only do it for the guitar (acoustic and electric), but I'm also fairly handy at the piano, so I can do a piano version too, if needed (if it's not too complicated...maybe I could ask one of my siblings; they're better than me, lol). Just something to keep in mind.
OOC: As I was, er, attempting to draw some practice stuff, I realized just how out of practice I am, but I'm still confident I could pull a comic off with work. I think I can also scan stuff in from my local library, so that shouldn't be a problem. If you guys can do a mock-up poster, I feel confident that I can work my magic, and give you guys some good ones based on them. And sorry I haven't been there; I know I'm suck at keeping promises...*sigh*
OOC: Bugger...I've looked at all those "comissions" Darxess, and honestly, most of those guys are only slightly better than me. With some practice, I could be as good as them, so I'll just do it. Of course, I'll need script, character descriptions, etc. but I can do it...If I can get my %#$@ scanner to work... Ahem... Anyway, I'll be available from tomorrow on. Good luck everyone with the holidays and expect an enthusiastic Merry Christmas from me.
OOC: Great, Pirate! And do, Jaxed; that would be crazy cool! BIC: Xardius slowly opened his eyes, and rolled over. "I'm fine, Wing." He sat up. "But now I remember...her dying...Scourge will pay..." He clenched his fist. "Somehow I've got to end it..." *** Tera Roth sat, staring up at the sky, as the clouds rolled by. Alyt lay in her tent a little ways off, still snoozing. Highwind was out scouting their route for the day. So, he was left with his nightmares. Smiling, he shook his head, but it was a sad smile. "I've lived too long. I don't deserve..." He cut himself off, and stood up. "What is...?" The portal opened up behind him, and he twisted, his sword coming to his hand as Scourge stepped out of the portal. Scourge shook himself off, and glanced around. Seeing Tera Roth, he stared at the bared blade, then at Alyt in the tent. He smiled. "Darryl von Karrte-Tera Roth, I have need of you and your Heartless soul." Tera Roth's eyes widened as Scourge began walking forward. OOC: Tera Roth was actually the person from the very first, not Xardius, lol. But it worked out anyway.
OOC: Just keep posting periodically everyone! Now, let's see... I'm...going to wait with the next big post. I'm not feeling very ingenious right now.
OOC: Another person is requesting membership! This time, I'll try to get them a little more updated before throwing them in... (This guy actually found one of the videos on Youtube, and followed through on it! That's crazy!) BIC: Xardius shook his head. "Wing, not everyone has darkness they can defeat so easily...But I've fought too long and too hard..." His words cut off as it suddenly hit him. "I...remember..." Xardius' eyes widened with horror, then squeezed shut, his hands pressing against his temples. "No.........." He raised his head back and screamed. "WHY?!?!?!?!?!?" Slowly, he sank to his knees, then fell to the ground, unconscious. OOC: Probably really confusing, but it will become clear soon... BIC: Tyre Rutherford knew what it meant. But he refused to accept it. His blood lay in a puddle around him, emptying from his body from a gut wound that he found himself unable to close. He couldn't get up. In fact, he could barely breathe. His world began fading...and he looked back through the ages. Into her memories. *** Tifanitan, the Celestial Mage of Water, resided within him. He didn't know when it had happened. Shortly after he had died, he guessed. That is, when the Heartless attacked his village, and had eaten him. Unable to confront the reality, he had become an unstable Nobody. Shortly thereafter, he was whole again. It had taken him only a few hours to realize there was somebody else inside him. Her heart and soul had collided with his, fusing together to form a new person, a combination of the two, yet separate at the same time. Tifanitan never came into his mind, and he never went into hers, yet he knew she knew about him, and shared his memories. Because he shared hers. So when he had met Xardius... It had been a bit of a shock to finally meet the person Tifanitan dreamed about the most. But he had been different. He was younger in her memories, late teens Tyre had guessed, and not quite the goliath he was when Tyre finally met him. Tyre had immediately wanted to get to know the giant for himself, as Tifanitan's memories had pressed upon him Tifanitan's own feelings for the warrior. Tifanitan had not been an emotionless young woman. At first, she was envious of his power, but as she got to know him, she became friends, even looked up to the man as an older brother, even though she was the elder of the two. But, then she'd been murdered, set adrift on the winds of time, and had smashed into Tyre. As he lay pondering this, he realized that Tifanitan was speaking to him, for the first time. Desperately, he tried to talk back. It was like talking through a wall, but he managed to hear her whisper. "Tyre, get up, the fight isn't over yet," Tifanitan whispered. "I'm dying," Tyre whispered back. "I can't even move my fingers." "Are you that willing to give up on your dreams?" Tifanitan whispered, growing louder. "Because even if you are, I'm not." "Why?" Tyre whispered back. "Why is it so important?" "Because," Tifanitan said, and then it was if she was right beside him. "I must live." And through her voice, he found the power within him to stand once more. *** Tyre opened his eyes to find himself covered in his own blood, but the wound was gone. He was still weak, but he could fight now. Excellent. He could feel Tifanitan's power coursing through him, more than he'd ever felt before. It wasn't the first time he'd drawn on her spiritual strength, but this was almost like a perfect merge of their combined power. He raised his chin and his sword. "Hegemoth, you back-stabbing coward, where do you think you're going?" Tyre asked. Hegemoth paused, turning slightly, the bloody dagger still dripping blood. "How...are you...?" Tyre sped forward, his sword slashing down faster than the eye could follow, ripping Hegemoth open. Hegemoth, the ex-Guardian of Wind, had time to gasp before his guts fell out and Tyre's sword flashed back, ending his life by a clean slash to the neck. Tyre idly twirled his sword as he began walking back down the street.
OOC: Hey, thanks to everybody that gets on and posts everyday...holidays are deadly. I have to make new plots right now (since all my old ones fell through), so forgive me if they're a bit...er, not well thought out... BIC: It haunted him, though he didn't let it show. It cursed him, though he kept it inside. It ate at him in his dreams, which were like images on the other side of a curtain...only the memory of a memory remained. What filled the gaps was darkness. He could feel it slowly picking away at his brain; the strain had been going on for much too long. How, he sometimes wondered, did I manage before? Or did I manage? In his dreams, he wondered, and in doubting, he became susceptible to chaos. And in the chaos, he was nothing. *** Scourge sat at his desk, the pen scratching across the paper with an almost pleasant rhythm. The letter was addressed to a very important person, at least to him, and he hoped it would explain things. After all, it's not like he'd have time later. Finishing, he signed his name, and folded it, placing it carefully inside his desk. He'd let the person know where it was later. Later...Scourge's headache increased again, and he fought back the pain, driving to the source of the issue and stabbing it with white hot willpower. The pain receded. His eyes cleared and he found himself on the floor. Pushing himself up, he walked across the room to the fireplace, making the flames dance as he got closer by twitching a few of his fingers. Not for the first time, he wondered if he were insane. The thought made him smile, and soon he was laughing, as the flames turned white hot and burned, before running out of fuel and dying out into small embers that burned briefly for a moment, and then died. OOC: Finish the rest later...don't want to post it ALL right now...
OOC: *sticks tongue out* That only works if he ever died... BIC: Xardius felt really sick all of a sudden...again... "Again..." he muttered. "But different this time...not as bad...maybe there wasn't such a connection..."
OOC: Because we like him... BIC: "Being dead is quite an experience," Atilio said out loud, watching his old body burn in the wreckage. "But that's what we get I suppose." "I almost feel bad for the man," Atilio said. "But Vecked, you're going to have to be smarter than that to kill me." Atilio strode away from the window in the building across the street and slipped into shadows, becoming one with the darkening sky as he disappeared...this time, perhaps for good...
OOC: Yeah, sorry about my extended vacation... I got behind in school work so I'm trying to catch up. But I'm here for a while tonight, and I'll be on the rest of the week, promise. BIC: Atilio lay in semi-consciousness, able to hear the words of Liam Lear and Vecked, but unable to speak or move. Vecked...isn't the same... he thought in his head, the pain smashing into him like waves. What...have I been living for...then? His eyes slowly closed. Have I just come this far...in vain? In his mind's eye, he saw a figure approaching him. Dark of skin, dark of hair, dark of eye. Who are...you...? Atilio asked. "I am Power," the man said. "Take my hand and fulfill your destiny." Atilio hesitated only a moment before taking the offered hand. Back in reality, he immediately felt the power rushing through him. Like a healing drink rushing through him, he felt the pain twist and disappear. Like a flame, he roared to life, fire bursting from him. "Then this is the end," Atilio said, standing to his feet. "Goodbye Vecked." Raising a hand, the world exploded in fire.
