These are so gorgeous! Did you use any filters on your camera or any post editing on them? The colours are so vibrant and they work so well. The reds contrast well with the greens- it kind of feels like a mix between spring and Autumn and I love it. The old abandoned buildings also work nicely. Definitely pick up a camera again.

Yeah, until they get old and we're all sick of hearing them. I suppose it's all very important but I don't really keep up with the news like I should. All we get at the moment is recession, Jimmy Savile and flooding/snow warnings... because UK can't handle snow xD

So I have a biology exam tomorrow where I may have to discuss respiration where we take in a molecule of glucose and break it down into 2 triosphosphate in glycolysis by taking a phosphate group from ATP (which then makes ADP) and 2 ATP are required per glucose molecule and then this is oxidised to form 2 molecules of pyruvate and 2 reduced NAD as well as phosphorylating 4 ADP to form 4 ATP. The pyruvate then goes onto link reaction where it's decarboxylated (a molecule of carbon dioxide is lost) and more reduced NAD are made as you oxidise pyruvate and join it to a coenzyme to form acetyl coenzyme A which then goes onto the Krebs cycle where this 2 carbon compound joins to a 4 carbon compound to form citrate (a 6 carbon compound) which is then decarboxylated and reduced NAD is produced and then this happens again to form more ATP, 2 reduced FAD and 2 more reduced NAD and a 4 carbon compound which goes around the cycle again. The recuded NAD and FAD are hydrogen carriers which they take release when they get to the membrane of a mitochondrion which then splits into a H ion and an electron, this electron travels down the electron transport chain where it loses energy as it goes which provides the energy to actively transport the H ions across into intermembrane space which then forms a proton gradient where the H ions want to flow back down out of the intermembrane space into the matrix so go through ATP synthase which gives the power to phosphorylate ADP to form ATP as well as joining the H ions, electron to a molecule of oxygen to form water and this is oxidative phosphorylation.

Well, it's not the end- there are still quite a few ways to rectify this if the worst happens.
