Orpheus was amazed as Gawain got right back up, even after enduring an injury like that. He was a soldier if there'd ever been one. Catch him off guard...Do something he'll never see coming. A thought struck across the mind of the general, but it was exceedingly dangerous. Not to mention cruel and unusual even if it did work, but given the direction of the fight, it may well be their only chance at victory. If Gawain and Sven did fail to protect Cierra, then he had a plan to defeat the warden. "Something he'll never see coming..." Orpheus muttered beneath his breath. Immediately, he backed away from the warden. The expression on his face was a glare. After all this, he showed no sign of fear for the warden. Instead, it was a look that had appeared on the field of battle more than once before. Orpheus had a plan. A tactic for victory. As he backed off, he gave the signal for Sven to follow in his footsteps. They were going to win.

As Gawain jumped at him with hook and blade, the warden knew he couldn't stop both. But he knew his own hooks well enough to know they wouldn't cause any serious damage to someone heavily armored enough. It might get through the plate, but would get caught in the chainmail beneath. Holding the handle of the club in the way of the sword's path to stop contact with his neck, he let the impact go through. The hook dug into his armor, and the force it did so with caused a fair bit of pain, but not as much as he was about to cause. As Gawain's hand, the hook grasped in it hit his chest, he swung an enormous fist at the man's elbow, attempting to snap it inward. He needed to throw Gawain off of him quickly, and get back onto his feet. Quickly, he rolled his body, attempting to adjust Gawain to act as a shield against Cierra.

Beuce winced, watching that fight. The warden was one tough S.o.B. Made him not wanna tangle with him. Besides, zombie boy seemed to have a lightbulb above his head. Neat trick considering lightbulbs weren't invented yet. Beuce began to sneak away from the battlefield, hopefully undetected. He should probably cool off and see what else there was to do...Maybe that hot redhead with the nice ass would be around here. He remembered something about a secret tunnel that lead out of the human district. Wouldn't it be something if he just happened to stumble upon the exit to that. Heh. hehe. Plotmodding OP.

R looked around, impressed at the office. It was a massive office that looked more like a library. It put the library in Crystalis to shame. If there were anywhere in existence they could find information on the X-blade, it would be in here. "You have my thanks...Dawn." The heartless said politely. This room was a treasure trove of information. He found detailed diagrams of the heart, in depth reports, detailing the nature of heartless and nobodies. There were even articles on dream eaters. One book in particular stood out to him. Pulling it off the shelf, he was shocked to realize what it was. "The...Tome of prophecy? This is where it's been all this time?" Honestly, he wanted to look into it, try and see the outcome of their fight, but he stopped himself. Knowing the future was never a good thing. Reluctantly, he placed the book back on the shelf and continued looking. Finally, he found what he was looking for.

Pulling off the shelf several dusty, unbound pages, there were images and passages detailing the life of the X-blade. It was a primordial object with a will of its own. It coexisted with Kingdom Hearts, the source of everything. This report even detailed the creation of Keyblades. It was fascinating. Here it was. This was the information he needed. "The X-blade...it has a will of its own. In its broken form, it will choose those capable of wielding its power, and manifest into their hearts. Twenty wielders, light and darkness in their heart is irrelevant, as the X-blade has the ability to change the power it holds to suite the wielder, much like keyblades..." R straightened the papers. They had what they needed. He had an idea of how to reforge it as well. If one obtained their keyblade through the dive to the heart, then perhaps..."Xero, we have what we need. Let us leave this place and return to the others. We may have a fighting chance."

"Yeah bring it o- wait..." Beuce stopped in his tracks, glaring beyond the fourth wall at his writer. "Wh-what?" I nervously ask. "The **** is that?" "what do you mea-" "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHAT! THE BANNER! THAT'S MY BLOODLUST BANNER!" "Well i already had it open and-" "SO YOU WERE TOO FREAKING LAZY TO GO BACK ONE PAGE AND GET IT? GDI RIENZEL! GDI! YOU KNOW WHAT JUST JUST GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" "Bu-" "GO ON GO! GET OUT!" The writer sullenly walked out of the post as Beuce sighed, murmured something about ametuers, and turned back to Xepphiras. "Well, looks to me like we are helping. Didn't know you could do that little wall trick did you? The thing about darkness is it can take almost any shape or form. That's how R fights, he molds it into solid objects and uses those. Granted that's taking it to the extreme and would probably take a lot of practice but yeah. The darkness wraps itself around your will and takes on the shape of it. It can be almost anything you want it to be. The sooner you understand that concept, the faster you'll learn."

Gawain's tactic was detectably successful. Not even the warden was strong enough to overpower the incredible strength of the half-blood. A balled fist flew at the warden's face, but with a tilt of the neck, he was able to avoid it. This was it. This was his chance to get a hit in on Gawain. "You're mine." A splurt was heard. The next thing that anyone knew, the point of a steel hook was peering from between gawain's lips. if one followed it, they'd find it curved through a gaping hole in his cheek and was being held by the warden. A dark, twisted laugh was heard from the hulking giant which commanded the hook. Were it not for the interference of Sven, he may well have succeeded in killing the man right then and there.

A pillar of bone slammed into the warden's chest with intense force. While his armor was thick enough to prevent any actual puncturing of the skin, the impact alone was enough to knock back the warden. He groaned, as that had hurt quite a bit. However, once he realized the positioning of his foes, he was glad that Sven had done that. While laying on his back, he grabbed the correct chain and swung it in the direction of Sven. However, it's high elliptical path made it go easily over his head. He was in no danger of having a steel chain slap against his face, but that wasn't the warden's true intention. Sitting on either side of Sven was one of the chains attached to Cierra's back. He hauled back the chains, flinging Cierra once again off the ground toward him. If this worked, Cierra would be impaled by the bone spikes on the boy's back, and her blood would splatter on him, burning the flesh from his body. After that, all he had to worry about was Orpheus and Griffin. The latter of which should be easy enough with the wound that the warden had given him.

Orpheus scowled. With the angle he was at, there was no stopping the collision this time. The only way Sven would escape was by his own capabilities. Gawain now had a hook digging into the side of his face. That only gave the warden an attachment to manipulate his body with. Although he could fling him about like he could Cierra without the cheek ripping open, it could easily give him the opening he needed to crush his skull. Orpheus ran over to Gawain, commanding several of his undead to hold the man down. "This is just a precaution. Pain causes flailing often. Listen to me, I want you to hold exceedingly still." He grabbed the side of the hook, with a hard yank, the side of his cheek gave way and out came the hook. Tossing it on the ground, an axe wielding undead split the chain from the hook, limiting the weapons the warden had. "This man...The legends about him are well deserved. He's using us against each other. I can see why so few have ever escaped capture." Orpheus glared at the warden.

"Dick move! Dick move!" Beuce shouted at the bird he dubbed Hayabusa as it did a hit and run tactic, scratching up his face. He heated up his face as much as he could, but the bird didn't seem to care all that much. At this rate, he'd have to take off his gauntlets. He'd have to go all serious and badass...against a bird. ugh. Of course he would. Steam rolled off of Beuce from the sheer heat he gave off. He ripped off the mask, unlatched his gauntlets, and threw back his coat. They all crashed to the ground with a considerable amount of weight. this left him with nothing but a black leather chestplate, his arms exposed. The air around him distorted, bent, and twisted. the heat waves warped the air around him. Even simply standing next to the man would be like standing in a furnace. He glared at the bird, who seemed to be taunting him by circling in the skies. Two can play at that game...

From seemingly nowhere, he pulled a wooden tiki mask with what appeared to be an ancient tribal equivalent of a troll face on it. He did a mocking dance, attempting to spur the bird into action. "ohohoho oooooohoooo" The dance ended with a pelvic thrust. Apparently this worked, as the bird was very cross and nose dived toward him. Jumping up, he focused all the heat through the palm of his hand and burned the bird through the air, causing it to plummet to the ground. Once there, it was over. The white haired lustor walked toward it to finish the job. Grass around him turned brown to black, and died from the heat. Slowly, his palm descended onto the feathered animal. With one final motion, a curled fist plunged into the animal's face, kiling it instantly and leaving a smoldering circle on the ground to mark its grave. Now, he'd go help fight the warden but seeing as he was probably hot enough to burn anyone around him right now, he'd probably hurt the others as well. On the bright side, Sven was more than welcome to tackle him when the fight was over.

The warden felt the heat of the chains increasing through his armor. It was a sure sign they would continue to do so. He had to get rid of them fast. With a strong heave, he hurled the girl by her chains at the white haired, bone wielding lustor who ran toward him. Not having time to see if that had stopped him or not, he only just barely hard time to swing his club, colliding with Gawain's blade and knocking it off course. The warden backed off. The immediate blow had been countered, and he had to ready for the next.
Orpheus was quick to react, supporting Sven. If Cierra made contact with him, it'd be more than just the force of impact that hurt him. Her body temperatures were high enough to easily burn him. With the prolonged exposure from crashing into him, it'd injure him quite a bit. "Sven!" He called to his subordinate. As fast as lightning, one undead split another in half via a greatsword. Orpheus quickly rolled into the radius of the dead zombie and waved his hand, picking up the top half and launching it at Sven, immediately followed by the bottom half. His telekinesis wasn't strong enough to lift them both together, but separately was a different matter. Just in the nick of time, the body parts flew in the path of the two, acting as a barrier. They would absorb some of the impact and minimize contact between the two.

Xerxes, however, was living up to his reputation of his relentlessness. He tossed out two of his hooks, each latching into a shoulder of the young lustor girl. As blood splashed out, he realized it was boiling. So that was the source of her heat. He could even use her as a weapon. With a heavy two handed haul, he jerked the girl once again off the ground and threw her at the general. A deep grunt of effort was heard as he put all his strength into the toss.

However, there was one more combatant to make their move. Beuce quickly intercepted the toss, catching Cierra and stopping her from actually hitting Orpheus. He fell backwards and landed on his back, the girl on top of him. "Hey Sven, this position is pretty familiar! Maybe it's from when i slept with your girlfriend!" He reached around to her back and attempted to pull out the hooks, but something unexpected happened. a shrill sound which Beuce interpenetrated as "Here i come! Caw caw mutha fucka!" In a rather ghetto voice hit his ears. The warden's bird swooped down and scratched at Beuce's face. pushing off Cierra, he wildly swung his arms at it. "Oh dear god Hayabusa please no! SO THIS IS WHAT GLEN FELT LIKE!"

R shook his head when Xero wanted to destroy the castle. "No. The research here is too important. If you destroy it, you may well damn us all." It was then the woman in a flowing tattered dress appeared from around the corner. She looked more like a ghost than anything. A melancholy apparition, seemingly caught in a task, not knowing its way. In some ways, this girl reminded him of himself. "Your husband...Xindai? I wasn't aware that he ever wed. I'm afraid he won't be back any time soon. He'd been sealed away, likely for eternity." R thought of something. Perhaps she's be willing to help them. "I require your help. Surely you've felt the power of the agents. If we don't act, there will be nothing left. Surely Xindai must have had some sort of research paper on the X-blade. If we could learn how to forge it, we may be able to defeat them." R pleaded with the girl. There was the possibility she wouldn't help them. After all, she was Xindai's wife. Yet...She seemed almost afraid of him rather than affectionate. Perhaps she had been forced into it.

Xerxes was quick to react to Cierra. He'd been keeping an eye on her the whole time. He could guess that her fighting style revolved around those chains from the injuries his guards had. Not only that, they were burned at the neck by them. He guessed that she had some sort of heat power with her chains. He was cautious about it, but he grabbed the chain, stopping the bone from penetrating his arm. Even if he hadn't, there was the likelihood it wouldn't have gotten through his armor, but he didn't know what else she could do. He couldn't take that chance. He could feel the heat of the chains through his armor, but it wasn't enough to burn him. Perfect. With both hands, he grabbed the chain and jerked it toward him, attempting to swing the girl on the other end to him. If it worked, she may skid along the ground a bit, but he didn't care. Knowing full well this might invite some attacks, he held his club backhand as he pulled, ready to fend off attackers.

Orpheus shook his head at Sven's order. "If you want your pet to be safe, then don't simply try to win the fight. Win. That's what her safety rides on." Orpheus said grimly. If he knew Cierra would be safe if he died, he'd try his hardest to win the fight. If he knew that if he died, so would she, he'd go beyond his limits to save her. Lustors were an evolution of humans, and that power of emotion was in their most base instincts. Not only to protect yourself, but to protect the ones you care about. Orpheus knew full well the capabilities of this power, and knew how to use it to his gain. "But don't think you'll be fighting alone. I will assist you." Orpheus said, drawing his blade. He was fairly skilled in swordsmanship, but his body wasn't the strongest. He was more a tactician than a soldier. Still, he could hold his own in a fight, especially with his inherited power.

Since his attempt at getting in the saddle with may seemed to have fallen through, he decided he could probably help with the main plot going on right now. He walked over to Sven with an uncharacteristically serious look on his face. "I know you might not like me right now, but that guy is harder than you think to take down. if you want to win, you're going to need all the help you can get. So, truce?" Beuce said, sticking his hand out for a handshake. However, this wasn't as friendly a gesture as one would expect. He heated up the palm of his hand so that when Sven grabbed it, he would burn himself. What a dick move.

"Save it, Griffin. You and i both know the only thing that's saved you from me is your strength. But that only gets you so far. All you can do is run from me. It doesn't matter how much family you've got, I'll break them all." The black clad jailor threatened. No, threatened would imply he intended to do it. This was more matter of fact. It was as though he was informing him of what was about to happen. He readied his club and chains for combat. His method of fighting was a brutal one. From a distance, he was a dead eye with the hooks he wore on his body, capable of throwing them with extreme precision. But that wasn't the worst part. Once you were caught by the chain, your fate was sealed. You were helplessly dragged by whatever body part the chain caught toward the warden. The sheer sight of that alone had cause more than one convict before to go completely insane from fear, but they didn't live long enough for it to matter. As soon as they were near enough to him, the steel club he carried ended their lives. Mass murderers, jewel thieves, rapists, illegal arms dealers, it didn't matter their crime. Once the warden set out after them, all they were stains on the streets. They just didn't know it yet.

Orpheus was the first to actually make an attack. Commanding three undead to charge him simultaneously from different directions. However, the result was less that he'd hoped for. A hook flew out and grabbed one by the ribcage, which was then hurled at another, knocking it off balance as soon as it arrived. Together, they were utterly crushed under the weight of the warden's club. Xerxes made another movement which wasn't exactly swift, but the sheer range and power behind the strike more than made up for what it lacked in speed. The third undead, as soon as it had gotten into the range of him was completely split in half at the waist by the jail keeper. "Hmph. So the rumors are true. You don't go down easy." Said the general. He doubted simply sending more undead at him would be any more effective, and he needed to conserve is troops. Even if he called for some from the area around the human district, he doubted they would get there in time. It took nearly twenty minutes to travel there on foot, and undead were slower than the living, so roughly half again that time. By the time they got there, they'd already be dead. They had to win with what he had. One of the more heavily armored undead stepped forth, along with a few of the lustors brave enough to face the warden. "Sven, it's been a while since i've seen you go all out in combat. Perhaps it's time you reminded me what it looks like."

R gave an understanding nod. She didn't want to go back to a place that brought back painful memories. "I understand." Said the heartless shortly before stepping into the black rift. A short walk in the corridor let him out in an open courtyard. It was a desolate and barren land, but one he recognized. This castle was in ruins, but it was indeed the same one he had seen. The one Xindai's mind had taken the shape of. That had been one of only two fights he'd been forced to use black sun in, and that had been combined with the power of the fabled eternity stone, the trump card he'd been planning on all war, to take him out. The dark creator was a truly terrifying opponent. Even if they managed to defeat the agents, should he ever escape...No. R wouldn't allow himself to think like that. There were the seals of five keyblade wielders. The amount of effort it would take to open that seal would be enormous, if they were even able to find him.

Making his way through the castle gates, he wiped the dust off a railing. This castle. It seemed to have been abandoned for years and yet...There wasn't as much dust as there should have been. It was almost as though there was a presence living here, they just didn't care to keep it tidy. "Stop, there's something here. This castle isn't so void of life as we thought." R said to the woman who had followed him through the corridor. He looked around, trying to detect any signs of movement. They weren't alone.

"So...You used the not nearly as awesome KH2 version of dark aura?" Beuce questioned. However, knowing she wouldn't be able to answer the question he continued on. "Well, if you want to be a dark mystic, we should probably train you in magic. We don't have time to give you proper training, so we're gonna need to start from the top." He said, then walked over to Gexln and pulled a marker from his pocket. After scribble something on his face quickly, he moved showing what he had just done. "So, we'll start with wind magic. It's mainly used for defense, but can also be a fairly strong offense. Use the darkness in the form of a wind attack to change the direction of the keyblade as you throw it. Try and hit the bull's eye." Beuce said, snickering. He knew how well glen handled dark raids, considering what he'd heard about the Shan-yu fight. Don't get me wrong, this was entirely to train riding hood over there and not at all for revenge! Nope. not. one. bit.

Aaaalrighty lets raise some stats shall we?

Equipping Spellbinder for bosses, but equipping umbrella for cutscene based PVP duels (Don't worry about the umbrella thing. You'll understand soon enough)

Spending both points on heart, but one for each sub-path.
    +2 strength
    +2 Magic
    Spending 16 crowns
    +2 Magic

Thus bringing my stats up to
    Strength: 34 (+4)
    Magic: 30 (+5)
    MP: 4 (+2)

Equipping Second Wind, Battle Cry, Combo Plus, Aerial Sweep, and Cheer. Thus putting me at exactly my AP cap.

The warden didn't so much as look at Gawain. All that happened was a massive fist being swung in his direction. The warden's punch was like headbutting a moving freight train. "I'll deal with you next, Griffin. You're not the top priority on my list right now. She is." The black clad man said in almost a growl to Gawain. He continued walking toward Cierra. Between him and her stood only Sven, whom he was about to deal with when Maye showed herself. "Stay out of this Maye. This girl is my target. You of all people should know better than to have anything to do with me and my target." He warned. He was here to catch the girl. If she tried to stop him, or perhaps even help him, he wouldn't take kindly to it. When he was on a job, he did it himself. No interferences. He took a single chain and tossed it to hook into Cierra's arm.

From seemingly nowhere, a skeletal hand reached out and intercepted the hook which flew for Cierra. "Mr. Break, it seems you've forgotten the reason you came here. It was to secure the criminal in the human city, not this girl. She is my property, and i will not have you take her." Orpheus said, glaring at the giant. He showed no signs of fear. Instead, he stood against the warden as an equal. Something few men had ever been able to do. "I give one one more warning. Should you refuse to coopoerate, you'll be branded an enemy. Trust me warden, i'm one man you don't want to make an enemy out of."

"I could say the same to you." The warden growled at Orpheus. They locked eyes. The tension in the air was nearly palatable. A conflict was unavoidable at this point. The undead around were the only ones prepared to attack. The majority of the lustors were to terrified of the man to be able to do much. It was a fuse ready to blow, the second combat broke out, all hell would be unleashed onto the battlefield.

But enough about those losers. Lets get some screen time on the guy people really want to see. The fiery white haired lustor walked over to the new arrival. Yeah i know he was just punched but the power of boobs is a force to be reckoned with. "Hey there. You've got the pleasure of addressing Beuce. People cared who i was even before i put on the mask." He said in a tone that wouldn't at all have been out of place if he had been staring into a hand miror while he said it. Beuce was the type who would look deeply into your eyes so he could stare at his own reflection. "The joker huh? Well, you seem like a girl who likes things to get batsy. Want me to show you a magic trick where i make a pencil disappear?" He said to Maye. When he said pencil, he most certainly did not mean a writing utensil.
