Beuce was pleased with Stratos' execution of the opening he'd given him. God, for someone with no strength he sure loved spamming a physical attack that didn't even give much CG. The behemoth threw Beuce off of it finally, but was hit by a brave shot from the wielder. It seemed that it had had enough. Reaching up, it grabbed the horn from its head and tore it clean off, now using it as a blade. "uh...wow."

Beuce frowned as Karina ran off on her own. She was in no danger of being defeated, even on her own, but...She was alone. Not just as far as the fight went. She was alone at heart. He could tell that she was ashamed of her scars. He didn't know anything about her past, but whatever it was, it wasn't pretty. She'd had a pretty rough life, that much he knew. Heh, maybe there was more in common between them than he originally thought. If he approached her now, there was a likely hood that she wouldn't be able to focus on the task at hand. If that happened, she could get seriously injured. Now wasn't the time to talk to her. He'd be sure and do it later, but for the moment, he had other friends in need of help too. Namely, Stratos. This behemoth seemed to be Bipedal, and could use its hands. Well...That was a new one. What's next, a behemoth riding a unicycle? ...Oh dear god he hoped that wasn't the case. If it was like this...flaming skeleton behemoth on a motor unicycle and it could like make you see all the derpyness of your life.by looking into its eyes...*shudder* That would be awful. Beuce would never get out of that.

All he could do was pray to whatever god the KH universe possessed and hope that wasn't the next behemoth. Oh, right. Stratos, roflstomped. That's a thing. After letting Stratos get kicked around a bit while he had an inner monologue about ghost rider behemoths, Beuce went into action. Dashing forward and rolling to the side, avoiding a swipe of claws at him, he slashed up at the behemoth's arm with his rather large sword. This one was intelligent enough to avoid his attack to some extend, so it wasn't as deep it could have been. "You alright? Can't have my apprentice dying on me now." He said jokingly before helping him onto his feet. keeping up the offensive, Beuce attacked the behemoth several times using his extended combo from being a soldier. First a downward slash, then a horizontal cut upward, followed by a punch, then a heavy roundhouse kick, knocking it back. The second it was stumbled, he dashed behind it, cutting it along the way, then spun around into a heavy combo finishing swing. The behemoth roared with anger as it was attacked ferociously, swiping and kicking at its assailant, to no avail. Beuce performed the most ridiculously overpowered maneuver ever to grace the presence of the abilities list. Dodge roll. Rolling out of the way, Beuce was safe from harm as there was evidently a frame where he was totally invulnerable to any sort of damage during rolling.

Staring down the now injured behemoth from a fair distance away, he did something that seemed to surprise even the creature in question. He performed a gank. And by gank i mean full frontal Leroy Jenkins assault. He charged forward at maximum speed, and crash tackled the thing to the ground. The two struggled and squirmed, trying to get the other one into a submissive position. "Stratos, Now's your chance! Lay into it!" He called out as he pinned the monster to the ground with a fair bit of effort. It took every bit of the incredible strength the soldier job had given him, but for at least a moment, he was actually able to wrestle a behemoth onto the ground. He underestimated his own strength for a moment there. Although, for the moment restrain it was all he could do. The damage was riding on Stratos.

They were about to finish the behemoth off, but the question about the other groups he'd wondered earlier seemed to have answered itself. Stratos, Karina, and Aden charged in and finished it off. Well, that was good that they were still around. They even managed to finish off their side pretty quickly too. first thing Stratos did was ask about their outfit changes. "Yeah, i dunno exactly what's up with that, but the outfits seem to give us new powers, along with take away some we had before, but that's beside the point. I see Karina's got a new um...outfit too." He said, looking over to the for whatever reason barely dressed girl. Things were alright, then they started gloating about how they finished their side faster. "Yeah yeah, didn't your mother ever tell you to keep your cocky in your pants, kid?" He said, directing the sentence to stratos. Although, as much of a ****** as he was about the fact they cleared it faster, the two of them had done an excellent job and deserved praise. "That aside...You did good. Both of you." He said sincerely with a smile, walking over and placing a hand on each Karina and Stratos' shoulders. Although, something stood out about Karina's shoulder. It was covered with bumps and scars. He was somewhat surprised, but he pretended not to notice them. It likely wasn't something she wanted people knowing about, least of all him. He was well aware that he wasn't exactly her favorite person.

Either way, he could feel some kind of energy flowing from Karina, similar to the way his and kel's worked. He could feel himself becoming more durable as a green energy enveloped him. His health was increasing beyond its maximum point. That was a handy skill, so why not return the favor? Summoning up his red aura, it grew around him. A similar reaction to what happened with Kel awoke in Karina. A much deeper shade of blood red began rising from her body as her strength increased, making her all the stronger and more deadly. Was this a good idea for Beuce? Debatable. Then he looked over at Stratos' aura of strength. It was...he couldn't even find the word to describe it. Amazing? Incredible? No...Amazingly, Incredibly, awe inspiring...ly pitiful. Where the other three's auras surrounded their entire body and a decent area around them, Stratos' just barely was able to cover the nail of his pinky finger. It looked like he just had a bit of green steam coming from his finger. "Well, i think we can all agree that Stratos here is by far the most badass of all. I mean, just look at that aura! He must be getting like at least a whole .5 strength from that!" The white haired keyblade wielder taunted.

"Here, let me show you what this new costume of mine can actually do." He turned to a group of seven surveillance robots staring him down. Each on of them began charging up their energy beam in their mouth. Ordinarily, this would be quite the problem, but Beuce had a trick of his own. Raising his black sword into the air, he collected energy onto it. He and the heartless finished charging their attacks at the same time, and respectively fired at each other. "Brave Shot!" Slamming his blade into the ground, an enormous fissure opened, and from it poured a massive wave of energy, meeting the seven lasers head on. The contrast of red and blue was a brilliant sight, but in the end, red won out and overpowered the attacks of the heartless. The loser of the fight was completely engulfed and destroyed in the victor's attack. Beuce stood there, waiting for someone to look impressed.

It wasn't all that surprising, but evidently the aura he'd used to awaken Kel's had brought out more than just a normal boost in strength for him. He'd gotten a transformation of his own. From the looks of things, it was pretty similar to what Beuce had. In fact, he could feel the aura of strength from Kel increasing the power of his own. It seemed the two were resonating from each other, constantly increasing the other's power. The two of them were far stronger than either would be alone. That was a lucky break, because they were going to need it. They were tearing through this behemoth, but he doubted that this one would go down without a fight, and then there was the other eight. They had their work cut out for them. As long as they kept doing what they were doing and taking them on one at a time, it wasn't exactly inconceivable that they'd end up winning this fight. Lucky for them, Behemoths weren't exactly team players. If they had been, then the keyblade wielders probably would have already been overtaken. He didn't exactly have time in the middle of the fight to check on the other sides, but he hoped they were doing alright.

Evidently this behemoth was smart enough to attack during inner monologues. A large whirlwind began spiraling around Beuce, lifting him off the ground and battering against his already injured body. If he hadn't been healed earlier by Ananta, he would've already dropped. The spiral of wind plowed against his body and threw him around like a rag doll. He had to get out of this, but how? He thought about it (which considering the situation, wasn't the easiest task in the world). Finally, he was blessed with an idea. Summoning up the energy from within his body, he summoned the light barrier which was used in barrier surge, and simultaneously performed Zantetsuken. The result was something both unorthodox and useful. Beuce himself became a thin bolt of light, firing out of the whirlwind at blinding speed, he darted through the air faster than any eye could follow. Creating a gash on the behemoth's knee, then one atop it's back, followed by one on it's face, then it's underbelly, all in the span of beneath a second before the state ended with Beuce kicking up dust as he landed. In all likely hood, that would be one of those things where a character uses it and it seems like it would be really useful later on but they forget it exists and never use it again.

As he came out of the light Zantetsuken, he looked up at the now rather angry behemoth. It let out a load roar, which raised the winds and blew fiercely against the party. "Alexander the Galemoth, you've met your match today. Your wind magic can't protect you from two soldiers!" He didn't know how, but somehow he knew this form was known as "Soldier" It seemed fitting too. Their supreme strength and all. It would fall soon enough to the two of them. It stared down the keyblade wielders attacking it. Between them, he'd say all it would take was one more assault each and it'd be over for the heartless. He wondered how they would fair against the other eight behemoths momentarily, but now wasn't the time for that. Right now, the only thing that mattered was finishing off this heartless right in front of them. He ran forward, ready to deliver the final assault against Alexander the Galemoth alongside the blue haired wielder he'd been fighting with.

With no hesitation, Beuce broke out into a Zantetsuken, and a few cherry blossoms later, he was on the other side of the wind-guarded behemoth. A large gash had been left in the side of the creature. It roared and summoned a whirlwind around it, blowing back Beuce and causing him to slam against a bookshelf. Thankfully wind magic wasn't made to hurt your opponents. It was made to keep you alive so you could hurt your opponents through other means. Like hitting them. Speaking of which, a rather large foot swung backwards and struck Beuce in the chest. That didn't feel very good, but he was able to rise to his feet and counterattack. A trail of red energy followed behind his blade wherever it was swung. He maneuvered between the kicking feet and made his way beneath the behemoth, slashing and cutting at the creature with his extended combos. Even through the defense of its wind barrier, the behemoth was taking substantial damage. There was a massive burst on the ground every time he swung from the sheer force behind the hits. Finally, he rolled out from beneath it and looked at it head on.

Between its horns charged a small orb of what appeared to be wind magic, growing larger and larger until finally it spanned the length between the tusks. As it burst, several smaller orbs of the same element shot forth and began tracking down the wielders. Beuce, however, was ready for this. Since this evidently wasn't considered by his body to be of the magical variety, he cloaked his body in a shield of light and ran at the behemoth. As each orb of wind magic collided with him, it bounced off and trailed at no location in particular before vanishing. Eventually, he collided with the behemoth's face in a massively strong shoulder charge that knocked it, even with it's protection, off it's feet and into the air momentarily. Landing on the ground as the creature hit the ground with a thud, the aura surrounding Beuce flared up momentarily, indicating use of his new found physical strength.

It was then that Hikaru flew over on a familiar elephant friend, assisting in the attack against the large heartless. Apparently, rapid fire attacked with peanuts instead of water shots. Huh...go figure. It was then that he asked if he had any suggestion to take down the behemoth faster than they currently were. "Okay, Well, i've got some kind of power up. Don't know exactly where it came from, and i don't care. It's really useful for taking out heartless, and that's all i care about. This one is more defensive than your average one because it can use wind magic. It's got a barrier, but those don't protect you against magic. Speaking of which, this new trick i got comes with a bit of a price. I seem to no longer be able to use magic. I mean, i got strength to spare, but magic is a no go. That means it falls on you and your 40+ magic stat. That ought to be pretty effective against it. As long as we work together to take this thing out, it shouldn't last long. As for the other eight...Well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Beuce said, ending the most complex and intricate and intelligent explanation of a battle plan that has ever been given.

"You never struck me as much of one to stick to the rules, Robyn." Quinn said, half serious. At least she added it into the end. It was better than nothing. He waited quietly while she wrote the reply. He trusted she knew what she was doing. After all, she hadn't let him down before, and he didn't see that happening in the near future either. He occasionally sipped his coffee, which was evidently extremely complex and supposedly a total contradiction for a drink. Once she finished the reply, she brought up some information on the girl. "Let me see it." He didn't expect she would refuse, so he slowly took the tablet from her. He read over the information. First thing he checked was her skill set. Evidently, she was highly skilled in CQC, just like Quinn. Only difference was that instead of hand-to-hand, she used a weapon. Likely she'd be put on assassination type jobs. She had an honest, innocent face. Not something one would immediately suspect as a trained killer.

He looked up at Robyn and pretended not to notice her "Side activities" while he began to question her directly. "You said she was one of your classmates right? What was her mental state last you saw her? Did she seem depressed or angry?" He asked, trying to get an evaluation of the girl. If she seemed totally normal, then it's fairly possible whatever "Rumor" she was spreading was true. After all, that message from the director did sound a bit suspicious. Usually people don't order a faction wide dead-or-alive search for a girl spreading rumors unless they're trying to cover something up. He wanted to talk to her, and maybe get some more information on something going on he wasn't entirely aware of. If it turned out that she was just your average lunatic, then he'd bring her in as expected. Although, if not...That was another story altogether.

He was successful in getting Kel's attention, and the first thing he did was ask about the costume change. "Yeah i dunno. It just kinda showed up. Pretty stylish if you ask me. Either way, it's more than just a costume. Watch this." He pointed his sword downward and placed it into the ground. This time, instead of energy erupting from the ground, it seemed to flow from Beuce himself. His hair began to float in the air as a bright crimson red aura grew larger and more intense, flying off him in every direction. Even just by looking at him, the power in the air around him was undeniable. "Haaaaaaa!" The energy expanded from around him, growing larger. Eventually, it seemed to trigger a reaction within Kel's own body. He had a similar reaction with a bright azure blue aura. Beuce's own power had triggered a chain reaction and drawn out some of the power within Kel's heart. Both of their auras grew to considerable size, until finally they touched and merged together. An enormous pillar of energy shot upwards toward the roof, completely enveloping the two wielders. Blue and Red spiraled around it, increasing their power further. Finally, it was time, and they stepped out of the light as it died down behind them. Each of them was visibly stronger, and carried around a more mobile version of their aura which had surrounded them, complete with crackles of what appeared to be colored lightning. Their eyes too were now dyed with the color of their aura.

"Well, feel like a total badass yet? If not, try doing something." He said, half jokingly. As non-serious as he was, there was no question their power had been substantially increased. With no hesitation, Beuce broke out into a Zantetsuken, and a few cherry blossoms later, he was on the other side of the wind-guarded behemoth. A large gash had been left in the side of the creature. Honestly, Beuce was wondering what this form was. It had appeared out of nowhere and granted him immeasurable power. The heartless that fought against him had been easily decimated, as though they were insects trying to fight a giant. Could it be some outside force granting him this power? No...It felt like it was coming from inside him. If not given to him, then what unlocked this form? Maybe...It was an effect of his keyblade. After all, they could transform to suit their wielders style of fighting and needs at the time. Who was to say that they couldn't change the wielder as well? There was some food for thought. The long black sword which was his keyblade shone in his hand, the light glimmering off it. He could tell that it was in actuality very heavy, yet it seemed light as a feather. Was he really that strong in this form? Either way, he was powerful. And that was all that mattered right now, in this fight. If they could defeat the heartless, they could get through the mirror. He turned to the broken heartless which he had punched into the ground earlier and extended his hand. "Fira!"

He called out the spell, but he felt no heat emerging from the palm of his hand. "Fira!" He called once more. Again, nothing. He could feel that he wasn't out of Mana, the fuel for magical abilities. Instead, the spell just wasn't working. Maybe it had something to do with his newest power. Warriors and Mystics were often considered to be polar opposites, so he was somewhat of a black sheep by being extremely proficient in both. If his keyblade was indeed drawing out a persona of his abilities, then it was utilizing his raw physical strength. In doing so, it seemed his magical prowess was all but lost on him. If this was the power he obtained from it, that was a small price to pay. Although he did hope it wasn't permanent. The book master was getting up from his punch. It was time to test how powerful this form really was. He gathered up energy in his arm which held the blade and poised it for a downward stabbing motion. He could feel massive physical strength welling up inside him, finally, with a sweep of his sword, he struck the ground and all of his power burst outward from the blade.

The energy which gave him his physical strength appeared to be a dark crimson in color. The second the blade made contact with the ground, all hell broke loose upon the unfortunate remaining three book masters. His power erupted from the ground as a massive Geyser of what looked similar to fire, although the appearance was where the similarities ended. When the energy struck you, it felt akin to having a steam roller thrown at you instead of being burned. Instantaneously, the three heartless which were still alive vanished into a burst of black smoke and faded away, as though they'd never been there at all. Pulling his long black sword from the ground, he turned from their previous location and set his sights on one of the larger heartless. The next Behemoth. He had confidence Kel would join him in his assault. Sprinting forward at the monster, he swung the blade at its foot, but the impact wasn't nearly as strong as it should have been. The attack was dulled. A barrier of wind protected the behemoth. "So, these things can cast magic now can they? In that Case...Kel, come over here! I want to try something out." He didn't know how, but he was able to tell exactly what kinds of abilities this form had. It was like his body was on auto-pilot when he fought. So, he'd try one out to help both him and Kel.

The book master that had been injured didn't prove to be much of a threat by itself. It swung its book fiercely trying to get Beuce away from it, but to no avail. It took a boot to the stomach, which caused it to stumble backwards, and it was followed by a blue metal keyblade striking it in the face. As it went flying backwards, Beuce stood perfectly still in a stance for a moment, until finally he vanished from sight and performed a single impossibly fast strike on his enemy, immediately cleaving it in half at the waist and dispatching it. The numbers of the book masters were thinning. In fact, they'd be all but destroyed in just a second. If Kel finished them off with him, then even better. If he had to guess, he'd say he could take out about 3 and 3/4 book masters this post. Which would be roughly half of the remaining ones. After that, they'd get to work on their next behemoth.

Right before he went onward to fight the book masters, he stopped. Something was...odd. He could feel a change coming. A power was welling up inside him. A bright light emitted from his chest and enveloped his entire body. Bright bursts of energy shot in every direction until nothing could be seen of him. The thought crossed his mind that he may be going super saiyan, but then he realized that would take roughly 30 posts and Rienzel would never get that done. So, if that wasn't the case, what was? Finally, the light burst and dropped out, revealing Beuce to have a quite different appearance. He was dressed largely in black, with fur lining different parts of his clothing and chains hanging down from various parts. He could feel something had changed. For one thing, his keyblade was now a black longsword without much of a hilt, so it was likely made for offense rather than defense. He could feel strength deep inside him, as though he were empowered just by being in this state. The strength coursing through his veins...he had no idea where it came from, but it didn't matter. All that was important was that he had it now, and he intended to use it to win this fight.

Charging into the book masters, he realized just how much power he'd obtained from this new found state. One swing cleaved so hard through the air, a shock wave could be felt from the sheer force the attack produced. A single book master who had been hit was instantly cleaved in two in a single strike, the book he had placed between them as a shield having no effect. Practically pouncing on the next, he performed a skill he didn't know he knew. his body carried itself, causing his arms to slash five times through the unfortunate heartless. Each strike seemed to cut through space itself, leaving a gash in the air as energy spilled through. It wasn't magical energy...no, this was different. It was as though there was so much raw power in the attack, that the physical strength was visible. Needless to say, the target didn't last. The third book master fired a flaming orb, but Beuce swatted it to the side with a balled fist. Dashing forward, the unfortunate assailant was plowed into the ground by Beuce's empowered fist, leaving it severely injured. Before he could entirely finish it off, another came to it's air. If there was one thing that could be said about these heartless, it was that they stuck together. However, sticking together wasn't going to be enough in this case. Beuce was in the book wielding heartless' face in an instant. He went to perform a basic combo on it, but found himself being pulled further into the fight by this power. Instead of a simple four hit strike, in the middle of the combo, he thrust through the bookmaster and spun behind him with a massively powerful finish, tearing up the ground beneath his blade from the sheer force of the air which the blade shaved through.

He brought the piece of cake to his lips and bit down on it. It was sweet and creamy, as one would expect of such a pastry. However, this was no ordinary cake. As soon as he took a bit of the cake, power began to well up inside him. His physical size increased more and more, until eventually he was bigger than the behemoth itself. He looked down upon the broken creature and gripped its tusk.he raised its off the ground with one hand. Now, he was far stronger than it was, and it could do nothing about it. "Well, looks like it's over for you, old free wily cat." Turning, he hurled the heartless at the wall across on the other end of the north side. The impact against the bookcase shook the entire library, and books collapsed down onto the poor behemoth. A small pink heart floated up from beneath the heartless as a single book master was in the wrong place at the wrong time and had been crushed. Weakly, the behemoth tried to get up, but was kicked back down. His left hand was placed around the tusk again, and his foot against the behemoth's face.

He pulled, harder and harder, until finally the body part snapped off of its face. The behemoth roared in pain, but could do nothing to stop it from happening. By his other tusk, free wily cat was thrown high into the air, and as it came down...a splat was heard. The tusk which was ripped from its mouth now pierced right through the center of its forehead. That was the finishing blow. It exploded into a burst of black smoke, and the pink heart glowing with light that once resided in the creature floated into the sky and faded from view. From this rather brutal display, the other heartless were somewhat scared of him. Hesitant to approach the man who had just decimated a behemoth. Shrinking down into his regular form. The markings from the cheshire cat faded away into purple steam and the light enveloping the library faded away, as though it had never been there at all. The cat was gone, and along with it his help and havoc. None of the effects would be applied any longer. Cracking his knuckles, he prepared to take out some more heartless. Evidently, it had only been like four minutes in Rp time. Funny thing, considering how much had gotten done it it. Mostly on east side but still.

Turning around, he decided on the exact phrase "To hell with literature." and attacked the heartless behind him. Book masters, as the variety was called. They swatted at him with their books, but most hits were parried. The occasional attack got through from either side, creating an injury on the opposing combatant. Finally, Beuce kinda cheated and used slow, followed by empowering his weapon and performing a massive combo fueled by his heart power. That was one down, now for the second. Sliding beneath the heartless as it swung a vertical sweep at him, he spun around and dug his heel into its back. it stumbled forward and fell victim to a quick basic combo. Like all other heartless, it vanished into a puff of black smoke proportionate to its size. However, Beuce wasn't the only one who could attack from behind. a ball of magical fire struck him from behind and exploded. He winced at the pain, but he wasn't too injured by it. Turning around, he batted a second one back at the bookmaster. It was injured and stunned by the ball of magic, but not entirely killed.

Not letting up the heat, he continued to press his frontal assault against the behemoth. Under the protection of full deck, the behemoth kicked and fired spells multiple times, but to no avail. Beuce reached the creature and struck at its front legs a few times before backing off. It wasn't long after that full deck wore off. He could feel the power of the cheshire cat growing weaker and weaker. He'd use one last effect to finish this behemoth off in the end. "Well, considering Karina and Stratos have been tearing up east side over there with no help at all because the power of non-stat based missions op, i'd say that won't be for quite a while Kelly." He said to his blue-haired comrade. If they kept up at this pace, they would finish the mission before long. He looked at the behemoth, trying to size up about how much more damage it would be able to take. His conclusion, he'd be able to finish it off by himself.

Carefully evading to the side as it shot thunder bolt after thunder bolt at him, he made his advance back into melee range of the monstrous heartless. Flinging a strike raid at the horn, he cast an ice spell at the foot of the heartless. The ice spread around the hoof and encased it, freezing it solid onto the ground and rooting it in place. With some effort, the behemoth could likely break through the ice, but a second of its feet was frozen in place by a well timed vorpal blitz. his keyblade was cloaked in an icy aura, and he slashed it across the hoof, causing ice to spead out and consolidating around the foot, sealing a second one to the ground. Since there were three strikes to a vorpal blitz, the aura remained coated onto the keyblade. Using the magic from a poison edge, the two combined and made a dark purple ice blade around the keyblade. It was long and thin, almost in the shape of a Katana but not quite the same. Slightly thicker, and more rounded. Still underneath the bound creature's stomach, he stabbed and slashed upward, creating gash after gash in the poor heartless' underbelly. With one last thrust, he plunged it into the thing and let go, then ran out from behind the creature. Running vertically up the wall because screw physics he's a badass and can do that, he back flipped onto the Behemoth's back.

With force of will, he called his keyblade to come to him. Shaking as it was still stabbed in the underbelly, it flew straight through the thing's back and into Beuce's hand, leaving a full on hole in its place. The behemoth groaned weakly and collapsed onto its stomach. It was just about finished. It couldn't go on with the fight much longer, if at all. The only thing left was to finish it off.He leaped down off of it and walked in front of its face. That derpy light in the eyes of all behemoths, it was gone. They had broken its spirit. He almost felt bad for the thing. In some ways, he'd grown attached to it. He'd miss free wily cat. So, instead of giving it a quick death, he decided to finish the fight with it in the most brutal and badass way he could think of, because the revenge part won out. Raising his hand into the air, he spoke to his summon. "Cheshire, one last thing. You know what i mean. The same as the Jabberwoky." Seemingly having understood, a small piece of cake was conjured in his hand. This fight was just about done.

Orpheus sat on a stone near the encampment they had set up for the night. It was rather difficult to ambush a squad of soldiers that never needed to rest, eat, or sleep. Their master, however, had already done so and awoken. He sat with the bound prisoners all in front of him, most of them looking at him with hatred and disdain. Sitting on the ground next to him was Cierra. She had refused to leave his side all night and day, so he simply allowed her to be near him if it pleased her so. He stroked her solid white hair as he looked at the soldiers.

"Sex slave. You're really not helping that case, what with the whole at the master's side having your hair stroked with a collar and chain on. Like, seriously."
"I realize they're scoundrels, but you truly are simply digging yourself into a deeper hole."
"Also, would you mind putting Shakespeare over here in another prison spot? He's giving me a headache with his fancy talking."

"I simply speak as a savior would. It befits one such as I."
"And i thought i was into role-playing."

"What do you-?"
"Enough." Interrupted Orpheus. Those two were giving HIM a headache.

"What exactly do you plan on doing with us, Necromancer? If you have spared our lives thus far, then you must have some intentions for keeping us alive. What say you to this?"
"First, i gave you my word i would not harm you. The way behind it may not be ethical, but i have kept my word. Second, I suspected this as soon as you arrived without him, but a subordinate of mine has yet to return from the human district. I suspect he may have been captured. If he still breathes, i intend to release you in exchange for his safety."

"All eight of us for just one man? How important must he be?" The savior said, obvious fairly surprised at this idea of his enemy.
"Don't be presumptuous. The humans will end with the better deal, but you will not all walk free. I leave it to you, decide among yourselves three who will go free. Once you have done so, speak with one of the guards and we will depart." As the pale general finished his order to the prisoners, he rose to his feet and walked away, ordering the men and his undead to ready for departure. One in particular caught his attention. "Gawain Griffin. Come to me, and kneel." The way he general said it didn't sound as though he were angry or simply demanded respect out of him. He said it as though he were inviting him.

Meanwhile, Beuce and Jedediah remained with the other prisoners. They had to choose who went free and who remained here in captivity. The white haired lustor let out a heavy sigh and leaned back against a rock, seemingly trying to get comfortable. "Well, i'm staying out of this. We all know it's not gonna be me going free. My money is on Hunter, Gwen, and Jed. Maybe swap one out for Emi." After all, why would they choose him to go free over one of their comrades? He barely knew any of these people, and the ones he did weren't exactly fond of him. Then again...Even if he did know them better, he had a feeling that he still wouldn't go free. He had never been the top gun in anyone's books. "Welp, get debating."

Nickel jumped slightly at the massive bang of the rifle's shot. He didn't even need to see it hit a target, he knew it was a powerful weapon and would do a heavy amount of damage if you managed to connect the projectile to the enemy. Now that was a weapon...After a bit of explaining about the rifle, chief ordered him to go keep an eye on the prisoner he'd captured while he went and trained the people how to use these new weapons. The black bolt nodded and raced off to the jailing area. He'd been meaning to talk to this prisoner anyway.

Upon arriving, he waved off the guards, indicating he'd take their place. Afterwards, he made extra sure that no one was around, and entered the room with the restrained lustor. "What the hell are you doing here?! You goddamn near blew my cover with that stunt! Do you know how hard i worked to get these people to trust me?! Then some piss pot punk with a anger boner walks in and just about wrecks it all by goin' on a killing spree. So tell me, who are you? and why're you here?"

Panting. Desperate, frantic panting. That was all that could be heard aside from the shrill scrape of the chains the drug the ground. Next thing they knew, there was a crunch and a splat. Red painted the once solid grey floor nearly in its entirety. One more victim to add to the list. That list was indeed growing rather long. The servants that once served in castle Mordecai would no longer be of much service to their lord. Instead, their only remaining purpose was to deliver a message for their murderer. A crying woman, about seventeen lay back against a table, battered and beaten. She whimpered in fear of the warden, knowing her end was coming. She tried to use her powers to harden her skin and protect herself, but it was for naught. The coated figure's massive hand plunged straight through her brest and grabbed. His hand shook momentarily as he put forth a bit of effort, but it didn't last long as a sharp snap was heard. The woman's backbone had just been crushed completely in half. She let out a last word before perishing. "Why?"

Pulling out his hand, it was now entirely coated red from her blood, he looked to the dead girl."Your lord crossed the wrong man. Your death won't be the last on account of it, either." The angry jailor walked forward up to the wall and began writing. He was leaving a message. A message to be discovered by whoever found this horrid scene. They were names. If your name was on this list, as far as just about anyone was concerned, you may as well just go into the next room and hang yourself to save him the trouble.

"Cierra Escravo, Orpheus Graveson, Sven Arch, Gawain Griffin, The chains will find you."

The was what the message read. Beneath it, he dug the broken hook Gawain had torn from the chain in their fight into the wall beneath it. If there was any doubt about who it was from, it was gone now. The warden had sent his message.

Finally snapping out of the daze induced by Karina's (literally) smoking ass, Beuce decided to get back into the fight. Finally, he decided to actually do something. He'd been kind of switching in and out of his master tactician and total comic relief modes. To be honest, his writer was actually running out of funny things to write. So, if one option was beginning to be a no-go, then he'd just have to stay with the other. "Alright Kel, sorry about that. Rienzel was just trying to squeeze in six hundred words. Now that he's stopped caring about that, i can be a bit more useful." Beuce sad, assuring Kel he'd begin picking up the pace in the fight. And he fully intended to back that up. Stretching out his right leg in front of him, the keyblade wielder broke out into a run at the enormous purple heartless. They had to finish this thing off. Launching off a Fira, it wasn't aimed at the behemoth. It was aimed at the books behind it. Catching the pages on fire with the spell, he then used aero, creating a small twister of burning paper. The heartless squirmed and shook its head as the ashes flew into it's eyes. This was their chance to attack.

He was more or less totally out of mana, the fuel for his magic, so that was out of the question for the moment. Luckily, the keyblade he'd gotten from Merlin vastly sped up the recovery of that. He pulled his keyblade up, over his shoulder, then hurled it forward as a strike raid to damage the behemoth. It struck into the foot of the monster, causing it to rear backwards in pain. Catching the key weapon, he leaped into the air and thrust his own body forward, cloaked in a barrier of light to protect himself from the burning books which flew through the area. They were only going to last a few seconds, but a few seconds was all Beuce needed. He rammed into the heartless at full force, knocking it all the way onto its back. "You know what to do!"

Leaping up, he ran along the behemoth's stomach, raking his weapon through its flesh as he ran. As he did it, he was continually gaining energy to fuel his spells. Reaching the head, he jumped high into the air and slammed the blade of his weapon down against the horn of the beast, hopefully doing a fair amount of damage in the process. Although it wasn't enough to kill it, it did severely wound the beast. It couldn't take much more punishment from the two wielders. All they had to do was keep this up and the behemoth would fall quickly to them. Rolling over back onto its feet, Beuce was thrown from the behemoth. Once again it roared and an unavoidable bolt of energy shot from the sky, striking Beuce in the stomach and causing him to get sent back. The injury had damaged him a fair bit, and he winced from the pain, but, much like the behemoth itself, he wasn't going to go down from one hit. Beuce backed off from the creature and raised his keyblade into the air. "Luminous flower, restore the flesh and mend the spirit!" He said, calling out a chant for the spell. Was it necessary? nope. Was it original and not stolen from stratos? Would you believe me if i said yes? Didn't think so. It did, however, increase the length of the post. And that was what it was all about in this battle. The longer your post, the more exp you whore in.
