    I see your point Roxam. I think both writers are very good and differ greatly, I found RTD to be more focused on the companion side and their emotions in a sense rather than the story. An arc ran through a series and there were references between series but not great ones like Moffat does. I find Moffat's use of references to previous episodes within the series as well as previous series (e.g. Flesh and Stone- River is in prison for killing a man which is done in series 6) AND old Who is just brilliant. He joins them together as well as creating these interesting story arcs that branch over a few series (The Silence one is still going, I'm hoping for a good end to that one but I guess that comes with Eleven's regeneration).

    I find Moffat's ideas to be exciting and things that I never thought of, RTD was the same to an extent but I had less "OASHKJHA That was brilliant!" moments. However, RTD was the one that brought it back from the depths of TV and did a fantastic job so I praise both but I just prefer the way Moffat is conducting things.
