Beuce breathed a sigh of relief when they were transported away from their world. They'd passed the first part of the test. Though, he noticed two things were amiss. One, they weren't back in Shibuya, where they'd arrived the first time. Second, they were missing people. Their group seemed to be down a few people. Before he had time to really take things into account more, an unfamiliar voice began to blare over the PA. When they were called yoctagrams, Beuce made a self conscious face and looked down, pulling out the front of his pants slightly as if to reaffirm something to himself. "Yoctagram is a bit of an exaggeration..." He muttered. As the announcement continued, it was revealed that whoever was speaking was their new game master. It was at this point Beuce realized something was gravely wrong. One of the conditions was that the girl from the order was to be the one giving them the test. If someone else had stepped in and removed her, then it could only spell bad news. "I think this might be a bit harder than the last time. She wanted us to win. This guy clearly doesn't." Beuce said to the rest of the group. When the numbers started, Beuce began to keep track of them in his head. He rolled around a few different possible meanings for them ,and eventually came to the conclusion that the simplest answer was probably right. About halfway through, he figured out what they meant and began to piece together number strings to names for a bit. As it turned out, he wasn't the only one who figured it out as AJ announced the answer to the rest of the group. As people began to go and find their partners, it became apparent what was going on. Most people had nearly never spoken to their partner more than once or twice. They were being paired with the person they had the least experience working with. Ignis approached him, announcing they would be a team for now. He nodded in acknowledgement. "Looks that way. It'll be good working with you." Seeming to have something rather urgent to say, he ended the conversation there and approached AJ. "You ought to hope that's the case. There's thirteen of us right now. That leads to an odd number, but 'X' seems a little ominous given the circumstances. One of Yue's conditions was that we were the only ones allowed to enter the test, but she's not our game master anymore either. If one rule was broken...Who's to say another one couldn't? If there's someone else among us, put here by him, it can only be bad. If you get a partner, don't trust them. Treat them every second like they'll tab you in the back, because if you don't, they might." The man said, concluding his warning. "Now that the heavy stuff is out of the way...." He walked over to Base and wrapped his glass arm around his shoulder and put him in something of a headlock. "You son of a *****. When did you get back? I haven't seen you since wasteland." He said, clearly happy to see the man.

Beuce looked as both Stratos and Aislinn summoned up all their power and launched miniature suns at the duo of heartless which exploded in a massive burst of radiance. Meanwhile, Steel and Ananta seemed to have grown in synergy and were doing some form of combo attack with one another, and Luna seemed to have something up her sleeve to boot. "I guess we're doing this now." Not one to be left out, Beuce looked to Stratos. He'd be okay with it. Probably. Call it a hunch. "This is going to sound really weird, but let me borrow you for a second." He placed the magical end of his keyblade against the boy's chest. A sphere of light shone around the tip, and a spark burst out. As he retracted his keyblade, a heart was floating beside it, which promptly drained into Beuce. The color seemed to sweep away from his clothes, and color themselves back in as though being painted. Beuce, now that he'd fully gathered his power, began to use it. He took aim with his rifle, and let all he'd built up flow out. Wind momentarily blew out of him as two auras, one red and one blue, emerged from him. Gradually, they merged together, and Beuce pulled the trigger. A similarly colored light emerged from the barrel, and the amalgamation of physical and magical in its strongest form was fired from the end of his gun at their enemies. Beuce used Stratos to go into blot form (thinner mode}, Used Dichromatic Resonance, and combo'd

Seeing the world around him grow, Beuce gave a high pitched sigh of disappointment. He knew it was bound to happen eventually, but that didn't make it any less inconvenient. So, making the best use of the time in which his stature and offensive capabilities were limited, Beuce aimed his key-rifle at the fiery heartless. He took a deep breath and concentrated. Space began to distort itself between his line of vision and his target. Whatever attack he used next was certain to hit the most optimal location it possibly could. Beuce used Magnify

A little baffled at why his Ice attack didn't seem to quite pack the punch he was expecting, the wielder shrugged it off and took note for next time. Now, Beuce, being the good and helpful person he was, decided there was no better way to help the team than with a summon! And so, he gathered up his magic and called forth one of the most powerful summons he could. Though, whether or not this was a good thing was up for debate. A new smoke began to fill the air, but it wasn't black and filled with ash like the ones from the flames. This smoke was purple. And on the largest billow of it, two eyes and a toothy grin appeared. The smoke cleared to reveal this belonged to a cat. More specifically, the head of a cat with its decapitated body standing atop it. "Been a while, hasn't it?" The cat said to his summoner who looked at it with a tad bit of distaste. "Not long enough..."
Beuce looked at his allies as they battled the two heartless of opposed elements. Stratos, though it may not have been the strongest thing he could do, was pelting the ice-themed one with fire. Most would see this as simply exploiting the elemental weakness of the creature, but Beuce knew what was really up. He was trying to obtain the same power he was using. That kid was really something. He drew in everything around him and made it his own. Though all the different colors he'd taken in were muddled and sloppy looking at first, eventually they would come together and mix properly to make the purest black. Stratos had gotten off to a rough start, but God help No Heart when he reach his full potential. Breaking himself out of his thought, Beuce fired a buckshot of ice at the fire themed heartless. Beuce glared at the insane man at the top of Notre Dame. "Well, I might not be a god, but I'm the host for five so I'd say that makes me qualified to judge that fruitcake." He said out loud to no one in particular. Before that though, he turned to the heartless in front of him. He saw no reason not to go all out from the starting line, so he charged up his gun with a brilliant light energy. With each shot he fired, a brilliant pillar of light emerged at the fire lord. Though they passed over it, as it was not a solid force, the heartless didn't seem at all undamaged. "This shouldn't be too hard if we keep it up. Keep going!" He called out to his allies, though two of them were unable to hear him. "Uh...Telephone that for me, would ya?" Beuce used Faith
At first it was small, an unnoticed change in the large warehouse filled with combat. A small page floated through the air and levitated around the center of the room. Then another followed, and another. Soon, there was a whirlwind of paper that joined together, bound by a black leather spine which fabricated itself from nothing when all the pages were assembled. It was an unpleasant sound to say the least, and grated on the ears of those who heard it. It wasn't long before it was revealed what this book was. When it took it's human form, it was reveal that it was a weapon. A woman dressed entirely in black, a blindfold tied tight around her eyes. She turned her head toward the people with knives, and touched her hand to her arm. Where she touched, skin turned to paper and lifted up, though leaving no less of the woman behind than had been there before. A gunshot was fired, and a bullet lay harmless on the ground beneath the woman, having been deflected by another sheet of paper. She turned in the direction of the sniper, and space began to contort itself between the two, while expanding behind him. With neither of them moving, he stood in front of her, a helpless expression on his face. She pulled out several other pages, but they did not go toward the man. Luther paced from one end of the room to the other to pass the time. As of yet, he hadn't tried to make conversation with any of the people here. They all seemed pretty shady. Well, to be honest, so did he. Anyone wearing a long black coat with their hood up would look shady. Instead they simply stood around and waited for the man who recruited them all to return. When finally they heard footsteps in the distance, he turned toward the door, as did the others. Sure enough, Lea entered along with a black haired girl. She looked like she was in a perpetual state of waking up on the wrong side of the bed, so he didn't care much to associate with her. "Well, Old Timer. Now that you're back, would you care to explain further about what it is precisely that we're to be doing?" He asked, addressing their red-haired leader about their current task at hand.
As Beuce continued to channel more of his magical power into another golem, it became increasingly more apparent by the crest which had been emblazoned on the ground that it was to be a different kind. This time, the crest began to shine with a bright yellow light, with waves of blue running through it. As the crest finished charging, Beuce called out the name of the spell he'd been casting. "Balloongolem!" A rather odd looking golem rose up from the ground. It was made of a similar yellow light with waves of blue, yet it seemed to be comprised entirely of spheres of the stuff merged together into a humanoid shape. This one looked far less intimidating than the frozen construct which was currently ripping heartless apart left and right. This one seemed to take a more supportive role, as it walked over to Stratos. It placed one of its balloony fingers on the wielder's head and it popped, showering him with a watery light and began to heal him. Closing wounds, repairing burns, and so forth. Meanwhile, Steel had finally seemed to join the fight. He'd cast quite the powerful stop spell, beyond Beuce's current abilities, and frozen several of the fire using heartless in time. Taking advantage of the fact they were wide open for another attack, Steel let loose a barrage of lightning bolts onto the defenseless heartless and blew them away. Beuce looked at the situation around them. Between his two companions and the Blizzagolem, there wasn't much question they could deal with the few remaining heartless. The Balloongolem and Jax would keep them in top shape between the healing and items. That only left...The flames. Firstly, he had to do something about the smoke reducing visibility so much. He poured magical energy into another emblem on the ground, and this time it rose up in a violent whirlwind. "Aerogolem!" He called out, commanding the construct to rise. The resulting creature was the least solid so far, as it was a collection of spiraling wind that simply flew through the air. It bestowed Stratos additional support in the form of a wind barrier. Unlike the normal aero spell, it didn't seem to so much block damage as it increased the boy's natural ability to do so. After which, it took to the skies and began clearing as much smoke as it was able. He considered creating another golem, but the method of creating a watergolem eluded him. It was then it occurred to him. The golems weren't the only things he could summon to help him. Drawing forth his magical power to call on an ally from another world, he fired a sphere of light up into the air which took on a more elliptical shape. From it, a familiar grey skinned pachyderm flew down to Beuce. He patted Dumbo on the trunk as it splashed him affectionately with water. He climbed on the elephant's back and they took to the air. Now that the heartless were by and large eliminated, the flames were spreading much less rapidly. As the pair flew systematically over each fire, the let loose a spray of water onto the burning city in an attempt to douse the flames faster than they could spread. Though, one thing that did surprise him was that now Dumbo's water was also replenishing his mana. It appeared that now his summons were sustaining him, allowing him to call out more summons. This was proving to be an interesting job. Continuing to spray water on the buildings Beuce look to Stratos and the golems to watch the end of the fight. While Stratos defended the cathedral from the incoming inferno, Beuce seemed to be in an almost trance like state of concentration. He seemed to be trying to do something fairly complex. He'd never actually done it before, but he remembered what it looked like. He remembered the power of one of the best mages he'd ever seen, and she was only twelve. "Well, If some kid can do it, then so can I." He said to no one in particular. Crouching, Beuce put his hands against the ground, and magic began to swell all around him, coalescing into an emblazoned emblem on the ground. The crest began to chill with power and froze over, despite the intense heat surrounding the area. With one final push of magic, the spell was complete. "Blizzagolem!" As the name of the spell was called out, Beuce burst into light, indicating another job change. His appearance this time was clearly that of a mage. His clothes had now become a deep blue robe, and strips of crimson cloth floated and twined around him. A silver chain wrapped around his right arm, leading up to and connecting with his hood. Though, the garment change was far from the most noticeable thing if one were to look in his direction. Rather, he was obscured by an enormous animate beast of pure white ice towering over Beuce. It stood nearly three times his height, and was incredibly bulky. Though nearly featureless, it was clearly humanoid in shape. One of its hands was not a hand, but a large spike leading off of its arm, while the other hand contained only two broad fingers and a thumb about the size of Beuce's arm. It wasn't far off of identical to Mizu's golems. "Ha...Haha! I pulled it off!" Beuce said with excitement. This was a milestone in his progression as a mage. As he pointed in the direction of some red nocturnes that were heading toward the boy who was ripping through their numbers, and had defended the cathedral from their assault. The ground shook as the golem's thundering stomps moved toward the fire casting heartless. It raised its fingered hand and let loose an incredible barrage of icy shards. Each one impaled the heartless and destroyed it instantaneously. What was even more incredible was the efficiency of this in regards to the golem's master. Once each spike had done its job, it melted away and dissolved into pure energy, and traveled back to Beuce. With each dose, he could feel his mana returning to him. "Wow~! That's so cool, Kupo!" A new voice said from behind Beuce. Taken by surprise, he turned to see what appeared to be a toy. Upon closer inspection, he discovered it was no such thing. "You're...that moogle from Mizrabel's castle." Beuce said, the memory of this thing coming back to him. "That's right, Kupo! My name is Jax! No time to explain things. In any case, i'm here to help! I'm not much of a fighter, but us moogles are good at synthesis." Jax looked at the situation, and pulled out some ingredients. Beuce, not exactly being an expert on the subject of item creation, had no idea what they were. Though in a seemingly magical process, the moogle combined the things together and bottled them up. As Beuce took the resulting item in his hands, he look at it in surprise. "It's an ether." He stated. "Well, yeah! You guys are low on magic from before! This will help you get it back, Kupo! That was nothing. Imagine if i had a real crafting station." The moogle said with a small laugh. Beuce turned on his heels and called out to the wielder by the church. "Stratos! Catch!" He hurled the bottle with all his might, straight toward the boy. As if to confirm that it was still there, he looked over that the hulking creation of ice he'd spawned. It was, in fact, still destroying the heartless left and right. It slammed its spiked hand down on the hat wearing mage heartless unlucky enough to be standing in its path. The thing was crushed instantly beneath the weight of the blow. Despite the fact that it was made of ice and standing in the middle of a burning city, the golem had not started to melt. There was no sheen of water on the exterior of it reflecting the light. This was made of stronger stuff. Beuce muttered in amazement, and had a newfound respect for Mizu. To master this kind of power at such a young age was nothing short of incredible. It was then that a thought occurred to him. If he could do this...Beuce put his hands against the ground and began to channel his magic which was being returned to him by the blizzagolem's spells.
