I always try to appear smiley and warm, I will introduce myself and make small talk dependent on the situation we meet e.g. through a friend means I'll talk about them etc. I like to make a good first impression so people will like me which I attempt to do through jokes, finding things in common, complimenting them or just let them talk about themselves. I try to assess the sort of person someone is and act accordingly (to an extent) but this loosens after I get to know them properly. I don't lie or make up some rubbish about myself to fit the other person, it's more just whether I can say something and they will laugh or think I'm weird kind of thing. For example, I may want to make a silly joke about pokemon but if the person I'm speaking to isn't the sort of person who watches pokemon then I refrain from saying it.

My name is pretty simple, "Katie" but it does annoy me when people call me "Kate" because that is not my name and, although I like the name, it's not MY name and so it just irks me. Katie isn't a particularly long name so it deosn't really need shortening o.0 but of course some people like to use 1 syllable xD

Also, my last name in continuously misspelled and it doesn't bother me because I have got used to it, it's a weird spelling so I expect people to misspell it really.

The thing with your class mate is we don't know what they're day has been like, it could have just been the thing to push him over the edge after a terrible day or he could have an angry disposition. They may have just overreacted because of some other reason that got displaced onto this issue, we don't know.

I suppose names are very important and I worry constantly about getting people's names wrong (I am a young leader at a brownie pack, I've been there for nearly 2 years and I still worry about getting their names wrong) unless of course they are good friends and I've used their names loads. It makes me feel really stupid and as if this person doesn't mean that much to me when they may do. I've had great conversations with people that I haven't known the names of and then when it gets too far into the conversation to ask their names xD That leads to awkward moment...

My C drive (the main one that has all the computer thinking in it) is about 70 GB and there is literally NOTHING in it. I have been having problems with it for ages. It just fills with nothing and I don't know how to free up space because I'm moving files out of it and into my other drives but then the space just gets filled again O.o

Well that is cool. I can see the attraction, do they have different powers as well or are they exactly the same as their non-shiny equivalent?

It depends on where you are looking for them >:3 If you had a pile of 8000 cards and only one was shiny then yes :3

I wish I could understand what causes people to do this and I wish I could truly empathise with the victim and her family and it saddens me that I can't. I really hope that she is able to cope and gets all the support she needs to help her make the best of a horrific situation.

This happens again and again and it's just terrible! This girls life has been changed forever because of the selfish ideals of these men, of course we don't know the whole story- what events have lead them to become sex offenders? I wish I knew but I don't. I pray that she'll use this situation positively in her life but of course that may not be possible.

Now that would be motivating people to post wouldn't it xD FREE TERABYTE OF SPACE! WOO! It's funny watching things from the 90's where it was amazing that computers had 50mB of space xD

Christopher Eccleston is a fantastic actor! He's primarily attracted to good writers and he respected RTD so that's why he did DW. I think he didn't get on with some of the crew members like HoT said. He was approached about appearing in the 50th anniversary but after long thought I think he turned it down, I don't know if that's because he didn't like the script or what but he did consider it.

He's not a horrible person, I just don't think he wants anything to do with the series any more. I think Nine is brilliant and he's a great actor but I much prefer some of the other Doctors who care more about the show. It shouldn't be a contributing factor but it is... grrrr...

I'm guessing in game shiny isn't as common as the card shinies. I still got very excited when I got a shiny card though : D
