There's also the forced romance that just felt awkwardly fake, and Bolin becoming a undeveloped nice guy. Because they're going to make a story arc about a dead guy. Only thing left to know was exactly how he disabled bending. (you've had plenty of time to watch it by now so I don't consider that a spoiler)
