Has your friend tried the simple uninstall/reinstall path? Comes off a bit douchey to say the least, but I'm sure you've figured that out now.
Having played the demo myself, I'm very impressed by the premise. Some minor tweaks like language and mouse speed, I'd love to see it completed :>
So, I just discovered this little indie project that's trying to get a Greenlight on Steam. It basically looks to be a mix of Silent Hill and Fatal Frame...which is already awesome to just say. There's a demo out right now which I'm about to try. Hopefully some of my fellow horror fans will give it a try, and maybe even support it. And hey, IT'S NOT ANOTHER FREAKING SLENDERMAN GAME.

It's not a forme of Mewtwo, I'll bet 7,000 Silver Eagles on that. They wouldn't do something that stupid. I'm guessing this means we'll be getting back some more genetic experimentation storylines, which I for one am welcome to :>
Just a few for now. I might add more. PS3 & 360: -The original Devil May Cry games (3 and 4's combat mostly) far exceed the remake, in gameplay and (in my opinion) plot and character design. There's and HD Collection of 1,2 & 3 Just don't play 2...and 4 retreads itself a bit. DmC is just not funny at all :\ -Bioshock series (1 and Infinite above all). Though the shooting mechanics aren't exactly the most amazing, the setting, narrative, and music are all excellent. 2 is good, and even has multiplayer, but I honestly don't find it as good as the other two games. -Bayonetta, honestly the best hack-and-slash game I've played since DMC3 (more than 5 years ago.) A good length, with charming characters, lovely combat, and an actual sense of humor. Just don't expect a competent story. -Batman Arkham Aslyum & Arkham City. Amazingly deep gameplay with great storylines, some of the best atmosphere I've experienced in recent gaming,and tons of stuff to do. Plus, they've both got Mark Hamill.
And today was getting extremely boring... Hey Danu. Been missing. You could probably tell from the visitor messages and such.
Just because a character has good reason to be mopey, doesn't mean we, the audiences, are going to be interested in it, especially when we're supposed to give a crap about said character. It's not good writing, pure and simple. As for the art style, I like it a lot more now, but I do agree that the overall posture and attitude of Cloud in that picture is a bit much.

I've heard how OP the Trap function can be. Only shame is how late you get it. I'd have abused it so much earlier on.
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, the title caught me off guard immediately, but by the third reason, I figured it out. I only beat Normal a few days ago, and I'm gonna start on 1999 Mode probably later today. Only got a few combat achievements left to get besides beating that difficulty.
