I hate their music, not so much them, as I've yet to hear how they act or speak. Reason I hate their music is the fact that they sing about romance in a way that says literally nothing deep about it: they take the matter of love, which can be such a complex and meaningful subject, and make it feel cheap and manufactured, an issue I have with a LOT of popular pop/R&B/hip-hop songs. Their lyrics are so bland, their vocalizations are nothing special, they lack a unique style (how many artists have done the young cute guys bollocks?), and they strike me as being more focused on their image and fan base instead of the actual content of their "music." Also, I generally have a disdain for artists that focus almost exclusively on the vocalists rather then the entire group (who ever praises the people who make the instrumental backing for their songs? Not that even that stuff is good, but still.) I don't care if people enjoy it, but these guys specifically have some of the most obnoxious and annoying fans in recent memory, that it makes it hard to even try seeing what's good about their music (which, in my explorations, is...I don't know)

He's one of my favorite "internet celebs" if you could call him that. Balances out his humor (which can soar into excellent at times) with some really thought out commentary which I often find myself agreeing with.
ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, Dragon Age: Origins I only bought Final Fantasy XIII-2 because it was $10 and has pretty graphics, and I still haven't touched it. The Force Unleashed II is atrocious and apparently has a story comparable to a bad Star Wars fanfic ("u mean all of dem? lol") I've already voiced my opinion on how overrated Assassin's (?) Creed is.

The poster he gave me is a neat cloth one, with a string to hang on a tack or pin or whatever. I think he got it from a flea market, though I wonder how common those are for you to see.

SCP Containment Breach, followed closely by Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I hate being completely unable to fight back, as well as the first-person perspective. Containment Breach has unique enemies too, who act differently from each other (I hate 106 the most though, walking through walls and such.) And I just love the way Amnesia gets under your skin without even showing anything. I still love Silent Hill 1-3, but they no longer scare me so much as simply fascinate me. The first, you're in essentially an IRON MAN suit with laser guns. The second, you're a bad ass soldier with bullet time. Play actual horror games :<

To answer the thread's title. People shockingly can enjoy a game that you don't, that's why. Like how people praise the Assassin's Creed series which I honestly find kinda boring personally, I won't get on them for liking it. Now, I'm not saying you can't say that you don't like a game. Just don't tell a person to not enjoy it because you didn't. As for me, I do think Skyrim is a fine game, but I personally prefer Fallout. I'm more of a sci-fi person than a traditional (?) fantasy person.
