Heroes was literally my favorite non-animated TV series ever.

For all of two seasons. Because it just sucked from Season 3 and on.

I loved the different perspectives on how the characters went about being a superhuman against ordinary men and women, trying to react to their discoveries and fit in with society (or, in Sylar's case, become even more separate from mankind.) It was a human story about people who were more than human, and it had a mostly focused plot that kept me hooked at the end of each episode. I have both Season 1 & 2 on DVD.

But Season 3 took the ball from Seasons 1 & 2, and just dropped it into a canyon.

It had a freaking superhuman prison, which of course experiences a jailbreak. They gave Mohinder superpowers while also taking away his complex personality. There was a giant convoluted plot with Sylar killing Nathan and Matt making Sylar think he was Nathan but than Sylar is in Matt's mind and the whole story just went bonkers.

Season 4 tried to fix the clusterfuck that was Season 3, but I just completely lost interest with the series by then. Samuel was nowhere near as interesting a villain as Sylar, and the carnival thing...was just weird, in a bad way. Never got around to watching it all, but reading up, I'm kinda glad I did.

I'll probably take up watching this new reboot or whatever. I just hope that they'll remember what works and what doesn't.

I actually enjoyed it overall. While the serious bits felt awkward, the more numerous funny bits were really funny to me, and I loved Dwayne Johnson's performance especially. The film just kinda suffers a bit of personality disorder, but that's what's bound to happen with such a peculiar real life story...which still amazes me.

I thought this was going to mention the Gamecube controller easily seen in a part of Pain and Gain, which is supposed to take place during the 1990's.

You missed the point of that statement. Writers are able to make Superman just as strong as he needs to be for the story they want to, while Goku's power is pretty much a decided thing, in order for his story to work...if that makes sense?

This, I agree with. But in all honesty GT should never have been brought into account. That anime is so damn inconsistent.

Dragon Fist came from a non-canon movie, but they brought in GT anyway so whatever.

In the end, it's literally almost impossible to compare the two characters. As they said near the end of the DeathBattle, Goku's story is about becoming stronger in order to keep the universe safe, and Superman's is about being one of the strongest beings in the universe and having to control that in order to do the same: keep the universe safe.

I forgot that Joker was the one who did it ._.

And yeah, Joker was in killing mode for Terry, but I'm sure Bruce would be perfectly able to take Joker too if he actually decided to kill him.

I've literally never heard of Joker being able to actually outright kill Batman before, while I've read the opposite: Batman being able to easily kill Joker multiple times, but not doing so out of his own rule. And there are some very, very few instances where Bats actually does kill Joker.

Besides, the Batman Beyond suit was Bruce Wayne's suit. He just wasn't able to do the job anymore cause he's old and busted, and Terry's the new hotness.

And, I'm curious, how would you figure Terry is superior to Bruce? Is it simply the new suit and technology? (I'm wondering cause my brother is watching Batman Beyond lately)
