I'm horribly sorry for the loss of your pet! I know what it feels like. Three of my dogs and one of my cats have run away, three of my cats were hit by cars, and one, big, beautiful black lab/newfie mix was lost to lung cancer... [several of my pets my mom gave away, too] There's always a place in your heart for every pet, and there's nothing that can fill it but memories once a pet has died. Just remember that they are there through those memories. Dead is just a state of mind. Other than that, I'm extremely glad that your move went well and that you are in a desirable place ^^
