I honestly like X's story more than any other Final Fantasy I've played (so far,) which is why I forgive it being pretty linear.
I played 15 minutes of the first game and felt no inclination to ever play again.
Numbered Final Fantasy games I've played: IV, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XIII, XIII-2 Spin-Off Final Fantasy games I've played: Dissida 012[Duodecim], Dirge of Cerberus I definitely prefer the older games (which I consider to be ones made by Squaresoft, not Square-Enix) They had so much personality to them, with vivid worlds to explore (X not quite as much), epic battles against optional bosses, and just the right mix of serious situations with humorous ones, to name a few things they did right. XIII and its sequel both seem far more interested in looking cool than actually being substantial games to me.
Is that game any good at all?

Yup, came with all that. Ripping the OST right now. I felt like I was in desperate need of an old-school style 2D fighter, and the whole KH-Vids Unlocked thing really pumped up my interest in BlazBlue again.
I ended up buying BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend Limited Edition for $15. Good buy? Oh and I mean this thread.

I did some snooping around for sprites to fit the moves and style from Nova's details, but I can't really find anything :\ What I'm imagining is like some western-y brawler dude but with a gun in one hand. Nothing has popped up fighter sprite-wise.
